Hello everyone!

It's officially been just over one year since I began writing Gumball stories and one-shots. It's wild to think that 12 months have already gone by, just like that. I've released so many stories and oneshots in that time, and my writing and style have really improved a lot since those earlier stories.

Before starting this journey with you all I had never even considered writing stories or oneshots before. In fact, I just thought of fanfictions as nothing more than cringy ship fests, poorly written incest, even more cringy angst that is way darker than the series would ever go, weird ass crossovers or the most batshit insane crazy nonsensical canon-destroying shit you've ever seen... which let's be fair, pretty much is the majority of Gumball fics.

However, that changed when I finally finished my first complete watch-through of The Amazing World of Gumball.

I had seen a couple of episodes of the first season before, waaaay back when I was only nine and it first began airing, and although I really enjoyed it I never got the chance to properly get into it at the time. This was due to the fact that my parents got rid of our TV demand package a few months after the show began airing, meaning I no longer had a way to access Cartoon Network to watch it or any other show I watched at the time. It was back to lame old CBBC and CITV (our British version of PBS Kids and... I don't know, Kids' WB?) for me. Damn you Mum and Dad! God, I wish i could have been around in the fandom whilst the show was still airing...or when the original six seasons were anyway.

After that happened years went by, I grew older, and I basically forgot about the show entirely. That was until I found myself being reminded of it when I saw random clips of the show starting to pop up on YouTube. I started watching clips every so often, mainly of the later-season stuff I missed out on, and was surprised to learn that the show was still going. Eventually in late 2019-ish, once I found out the show had ended, I decided that now was a good a time as any to sit down and watch the entire series properly from start to finish.

And that I did. I binged multiple episodes at a time, slowly making my way through the show, episode by episode, season by season, until eventually, it was over. And I found myself feeling...disappointed.

I had genuinely fallen in love with the show, and I wanted more of it, but it was over. It was done. There wasn't going to be anymore. ( o r so we all thought!)

As time went by I continued to think of the show, random scenarios and ideas forming in my head for various episodes, one-shots, scenes, and other scenarios. And as I thought about them more they only continued to grow and develop further and further.

After a few months, I decided I wanted to do something with them. I wanted to share my ideas and love for the show with the rest of the fandom. The question was how.

That was when I stumbled upon . I can't remember how exactly, but I found out about it and all of the Gumball stories and oneshots people posted on it. And, story and oneshot ideas were exactly what I had. But did I dare write and post something I had generally completely avoided and thought of as a hobby for bored teenage girls wanting to ship YouTubers or TV Show characters together?

I spent a while internally debating, and eventually, I made up my mind.

Fuck it. Why not?

My ideas seemed really good, and more like actual proper episodes than any of the other fanfictions I had seen, and if It was something I enjoyed doing then I didn't see why I shouldn't.

So, write them I did. Shortly after I found Wattpad and AO3 too, and began posting on all three, eventually switching over to using Wattpad as my main platform of choice over the other two.

The Nerd, The Exam, The Thunderstorm and The Relationship were my first few fanfictions out, all in pretty quick succession. All of which I was, and still am, extremely proud of.

And then there was The Kitten's Limit.

As soon as I posted that story it blew up. Hundreds of views in the first week, much faster than any of my other stories had reached that amount. And it kept growing and growing and growing until it now sits at a whopping 9 thousand views on Wattpad alone. My most popular story by a mile.

And now to celebrate one year since I began this journey, and to celebrate the astonishing milestone the original story has reached I decided to massively rewrite and remaster the entire story. With its own one-year anniversary next month, and its sequel now slowly being released, it feels only right for me to go back and make this the first story of mine to get such an extensive rewrite.

But, those aren't the only reasons I'm doing this. There's one more reason I decided to take on such a mammoth task. The most important reason of all. The one that made me determined to see this through to the end.

And that's because of all of you.

T his is a gift, a thank you, to each and every one of you who has ever supported me on this journey. Whether you've commented on, favorited, followed, liked, shared or even simply just read one of my stories or oneshots...thank you. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I've had some pretty low moments within these 12 months, most notably losing two cats in the span of 6 months, and it was receiving your love and support, writing these stories, and seeing all of your comments and reactions that helped me push through them and keep going.

Each and every view, comment, follow, vote, etc that I receive genuinely means the world to me. I never expected my stories to get even remotely as many views as they have, so for them to be so liked by so many people is just...it's incredibly heartwarming. It's because of all of you guys that I'm motivated to continue doing this. It's because of all of you that I'm determined to grow and improve my writing skills, to make the best stories possible for you all. It's because you I started to improve my Photoshop skills in order to create much better-looking story covers/photos.

A special shoutout has to go to The Primordial Clok-Roo & just-yours-truly. The two of them have been my biggest supporters on AO3 and respectively, and Clok Roo has made some amazing oneshots based on my stories, one of which is being added into this very remaster something I'm still shocked about. I never in a million years imagined something like that would happen, and I'm incredibly flattered and honored that some of my stories have inspired others to write their own stories based on them, or just in general.

I think I've said about all I've wanted to now. I would have shouted someone out on Wattpad too, but I don't really have any big supporters there, and nobody else, in particular, comes to mind, so I suppose it's about time I bring this letter to an end and let you get on with the story.

So, without further ado, thank you all so much for reading and-

Ah, I'm only kidding! I couldn't possibly end this little rambling of mine without giving an absolutely massive shoutout to my biggest supporter of all...SpartaofGreece

He's been here with me right since the very beginning, since the very first oneshot I ever posted all those months ago, leaving comments and messages of support on every single story I've ever released, always keeping me motivated to continue writing, always being so kind and supportive. His support and comments have been so, so wonderful, and I always genuinely look forward to seeing his comments pop up in my notifications.

Plus, it was his new story "A Game of Cat and Fox" that got me reinvigorated to come back and finish this off so I could come back with a bang after losing all motivation and will to write anything following what happened to my cat.

He really is a highlight of doing all of this, and I cannot put into words how much I appreciate all of his support. Seriously dude, you're awesome!

I doubt many of you will have actually read all of this. Most of you will have probably not cared about this and just skipped to the actual story. But for those of you who are still here and have actually read all of this, once again, thank you. You're the true supporters. The ones I do all of this for.

Okay, okay, enough with the soppy thank yous and rambly backstories. This letter has gone on for far too long already.

So, for real this time, I finally present to you the sum of many, many hours and days work

...The Kitten's Limit Remastered.

I hope you enjoy!

P.S For those wondering what'll be happening to the original, though this remastered version is now the canon version, the original will remain up as well for those who wish to read it, or compare it to the remastered version!

The sequel is also slowly being released, with the first two chapters out now, and Chapter 3 coming soon!
