"Man, that was great!" Max said, wiping his hands.
Cole smiled as he and his friends began cleaning up their picnic. Their good time was interrupted when a new voice called out to them.
"Cole Evans?" The team turned their attention to the speaker, a slightly older man wearing red and grey. "Cole Evans, Red Wild Force Ranger?"
Sharing a glance with his friends, Cole asked, "How do you know who I am?"
Rather than directly answer the question, the stranger opted to introduce himself, "I'm Carter Grayson, Lightspeed Rescue, Red Ranger." He held up his wrist, showing he had a morpher of his own. "I was sent to recruit you for an urgent mission."
"What's the mission?" Taylor asked.
"I'll explain on the way," Carter answered. "Now, pick one of your friends to come with us."
"Why only one? Shouldn't the whole team be in on this?" Alyssa wondered aloud.
Carter crossed his arms, "Because I doubt your city will just protect itself if you all leave."
Nodding at Carter's point, Cole thought for a second before reasoning that, if this mission was as important as he was assuming, he should bring the team's heaviest hitter. "Danny, you're with me."
"Alright!" "Aw, man." Danny and Max cheered and pouted respectively.
Carter took the duo by jeep to the site of a rocket ready to launch. First, they were stopped by a man with pale brown hair around Carter's age, "ID please?"
"Very funny, Ryan," Carter smiled. "Now come on."
Ryan nodded and got in the jeep introducing himself in the process, "Ryan Mitchell, Titanium Ranger."
When they got inside the building, Cole and Danny were surprised to see some familiar faces.
"Wes, Eric!" Cole smiled. He immediately walked up to shake their hands.
"Good to see you guys again," Eric commented.
"It's been too long!" Danny said, taking his turn to shake their hands.
"Pretty sure it's only been a couple months," Wes joked.
Carter decided to interrupt the little reunion, "I see you've already met the Time Force Rangers. Allow me to introduce the Turbo Rangers." He gestured to a nearby red car.
Out of the car stepped two strapping young men. One was a bald, black man in a red shirt. The other one was surprisingly young, 17, maybe 18 at the oldest, making him the youngest one of them in the room. He had short, brown hair and a blue shirt on.
"This is Theodore Jay Jarvis Johnson, the Red Ranger, and Justin Stewart, the Blue Ranger," Carter explained.
"You guys can just call me TJ," Theodore clarified.
Justin pointed behind him with a thumb, "And those guys are the Space Rangers."
Said Rangers were two men, one white and one latino, both with shoulder length hair. They were wearing official-looking uniforms, with the main difference being the color of the shirts they were wearing underneath, one red and the other black.
Walking up to them, Justin made the introductions this time. "This is guy is Andros," he put a hand on the shoulder of the one in red, followed by the one in black, "And this is Carlos."
"Man, so many Rangers," Danny muttered under his breath.
"What exactly's going on here?" Cole asked.
Andros promptly explained, "We were all assembled by a veteran Ranger, our leader for this mission. He looked at the entrance of the building. Following his gaze, the other Rangers looked and saw a man in his late 20s with short, spiky black hair.
As the man approached, a woman quickly joined him.
Cole naturally asked, "Who are they?"
TJ chuckled, "That's Tommy, the Red Zeo Ranger. He's a legend."
Nodding Tommy gestured to his companion, "And this is Tanya, the Yellow Zeo Ranger."
"Hope we're not late!"
Hearing a new voice, everyone returned their attention to the door, where in walked two more individuals.
Tommy smiled at the sight of them, "Jason, Billy, good to see you guys."
Jason laughed, "We might've been late, but Billy likes to be punctual."
"So what's going on?" Wes asked, "Your call sounded urgent."
Tommy proceeded to explain how remnants of the Machine Empire had regrouped after battling the Zeo Rangers and were preparing an invasion force on the moon. In order to stop them, the assembled Rangers would be traveling there to stop them in Andros's Astro Mega Ship.
"Now all we need are some Zords," Tanya pointed out. When some of the guys gave her confused looks, she clarified, "Come on, every battle ends with Zords."
"Good point, but that thing doesn't look like it could fit even one Zord. What do we do about that?" Justin asked.
"I have that," Billy said with a smile. "I figured Zords would be necessary at some point, so I reached out for some assistance. They should be arriving momentarily." The ground began rumbling. "And speak of the devil."
Wanting to see the source of the rumbling, the group went outside to see an alien spaceship resembling an aircraft carrier. Out of the ship came a white Power Ranger with a sword mounted on their back. Judging by their build and the skirt on their suit, it was a woman.
"To those who don't know, this is Delphine, the White Aquitar Ranger," Billy introduced.
Getting straight to the point, Delphine informed them, "I'm afraid this vessel can only house about five Zords, so we'll have to choose wisely."
"We have plenty of Zords to spare," Cole offered.
"Are they strong?" Jason asked.
"Super strong," Danny assured him.
The other Rangers looked amongst themselves. "For all our sakes, I hope you're not bluffing," Billy said.
Danny and Cole nodded at each other and contacted their team. Once the arrangements were made, five of their Wild Zords made their way to the launch site and entered Delphine's ship while the Rangers themselves boarded the Mega Ship.
Along the way, Tommy and Jason explained that the reason the Machine Empire was on the moon was to reactivate Serpentera, which would give them all the power they could need to destroy the Earth.
Suddenly, their ship shook. "We just took fire," Andros reported. "They must've spotted us."
Tanya looked dismayed, "We are showing up in two big spaceships. I guess we asked for that."
Looking at the monitors, the team saw a small fleet of enemy spaceships approaching them.
Andros and Billy manned the controls and engaged in evasive maneuvers, "We don't have time for this. Hope you guys don't mind a quick drop off." The Space Ranger flew low to the empire's moon base, just low enough that the rest of the team could leap out onto the ground.
Watching their ships engage the enemy for a moment, Tommy got their focus back, "There's no time to waste. Let's get in there."
As the Machine generals marched toward Sepentera, the door to the room they were in was blown off its hinges, allowing the numerous Rangers to pour in.
Tanya had a comment about their enemies, "Looks like you added some new faces to your crew."
The three generals in question promptly introduced themselves. The first one had purple and black armor and several prongs sticking up from the forehead of her helmet. "I am General Crystalis," she introduced in a feminine voice.
The next one was black like Venjix. He had stag beetle horns sticking out of his helmet and various geometric patterns on his chest and torso. "I'm General Wargras."
The third one had gold and black armor, a narrow visor, and a rhinoceros beetle horn sticking out from his helmet, "And I'm General Charger."
"Nice to meet you," Carlos said sarcastically.
"And nice to beat you," Danny added.
"You shouldn't tempt fate!" Venjix warned. He snapped his fingers, prompting the numerous Cogs around him and his allies to charge.
The Rangers charged in turn, and the battle began.
Carter stole a spear from a Cog and used it to sweep the legs out of several other Cogs. Ditching the spear, he let some more Cogs chase him and ran up a wall, backflipping off it. This caused the Cogs to crash into the wall face first.
Ryan and Eric were working together to fight their enemies. Spotting one approaching Ryan from behind, Wes called out, "Duck!" Ryan did so, and Eric threw a punch, hitting the charging Cog.
Getting up, Ryan thanked his teammate before his eyes widened, "Jump!" When Eric did as he was told, Ryan did a leg sweep, knocking a Cog off its feet.
Justin snap kicked one Cog away only for another Cog to knock him to the ground. The Cog raised its spear for a finishing blow, but Justin rolled into its legs, tripping it up. Getting back to his feet, Justin kicked the downed Cog, rolling it into several other Cogs.
Tanya caught a punch and twisted the Cog's wrist, flipping it over. Spotting two Cogs coming at her from opposite sides, she ducked down, causing them to pierce each other with their spears. "Suckers!" she called out as she engaged with another minion.
Grabbing two Cogs by their forearms, TJ pulled them together, making them punch each other. He then snap kicked another Cog in front of him before immediately side kicking another.
Dodging spear after spear, Carlos was losing ground against another group of Cogs. Eventually, he was backed against the wall. The Cog thrust their spears together, prompting Carlos to duck underneath, and when they thrust lower this time, he rose up on his hands and feet, putting him in a position to cartwheel kick them away.
Wes grabbed a Cog by the head and slammed his own head into it. He then hit another Cog with a spinning back kick, knocking it into a third Cog.
In the spirit of his Wild Zord, Danny charged several Cogs at once. After mowing them down, he ducked under the spear of another Cog and hit it with a massive uppercut.
Tommy and Jason were fighting back-to-back, fending off the Cogs as they came. They briefly split up to cover more ground before regrouping. "Double whammy?" Jason called out.
"Double whammy," Tommy nodded. The two got on either side of a Cog and punched it in the sides of the head.
Cole thrust a fist on either side of him, hitting Cogs that were charging at him. Ducking under the spear of another Cog, he noticed the Machine Generals making their way out of the building.
"How many of these things are there!?" Billy complained.
"Too many, apparently," Andros informed. Their ship shook as they took more damage. "We're not going to last much longer at this rate. Any ideas?"
Billy's face lit up, "I think I do, actually!" He pulled out his morpher, shouting, "It's Morphin' Time!" Donning his Blue Ranger suit, Billy tore off one of the buttons on the control panel and replaced it with his Power Coin.
This caused enlarged versions of his Tricera Lance to appear on the outside of the ship, mounted on cannons. Beams fired from each of the lance's prongs, destroying dozens of enemy ships.
Andros was blown away and fired the ships regular cannons, destroying the rest of their foes, "We're clear for landing! Delphine, let's touch down!"
"Roger that!" the White Ranger replied through the ship's radio.
Following the generals outside, Cole yelled out, "Stop!"
With hardly a word, Venjix fired some purple energy bolts, aiming right for him.
Cole flinched as the bolts were about to hit, but someone came to his rescue. The first was a Red Ranger with a black zigzag pattern on his chest. He used the sword he was wielding to cut through the bolt and nullify it.
The second was a Pink Ranger wielding a bow, which she used to fire a counterattack.
This gave time for the rest of the team time to reconvene. "Leo, Kendrix!" Tommy called out. "Perfect timing."
Leo nodded, "We got here as soon as we could."
"So these are the new guys," Kendrix commented, observing Cole and Danny. She held out a hand and shook each of theirs.
A white blur landed in front of them, revealing herself to be Delphine.
"Looks like you made. Where's Billy?" Jason asked.
"And Andros," Carlos added.
"they're on their way. I simply beat them here," Delphine explained.
"Ridiculous!" Venjix yelled as he counted up his enemies, "10, 12, 15 Rangers!?"
Tommy stepped forward, with the rest of the group doing the same, "And that's not even all of us."
With that said, all Rangers present, with the exception of the already-morphed Delphine, said their respective transformation phrases and morphed, taking fighting stances while announcing their team names.
"Mighty Morphin'!"
"Alien!"
"Zeo!"
"Turbo!"
"Space!"
"Galaxy!"
"Lightspeed Rescue!"
"Time Force!"
"Wild Force!"
Venjix growled, "You won't stop us when we're so close!"
"Just watch us!" Cole declared. He looked back at all his comrades, "Let's do this, guys!" With that, both sides charged.
Danny and Ryan took on Gerrok. Ryan took the initiative and fired some shots from his gun, which Gerrok blocked with an arm-mounted pincer weapon. Danny went next, wielding his Bison Ax. As he clashed blades with the green general, Ryan unfolded his gun into its ax mode and moved in to assist Danny. He managed to get in a slash before Gerrok kicked him away.
Gerrok swung his pincer downward. Danny blocked the attack with his ax while drawing his Crystal Saber with his free hand. He slashed Gerrok across the gut before headbutting him.
The Black and Titanium Rangers nodded at each other and gave one final slash with their axes, blowing Gerrok away and making him explode.
Justin and Carter took cover to avoid shots from Steelon's. "I've got a plan," Carter said. After relaying it to his comrade, the two leapt from their hiding places and returned fire with their own sidearms.
Steelon blocked the shots with his gun and kept firing as the Rangers advanced. When Carter got close enough, the blue general aimed his gun at his face.
"Rescue Claw!" Only for Carter to yank the gun away with a grappling claw. The Red Ranger ducked down, revealing Justin behind him, wielding a pair of blue handguns.
"Turbo Hand Blasters!" Justin fired nonstop, with all the shots knocking Steelon off the ledge they were near, making him explode when he landed.
Tanya lashed out with her Power Clubs, only for Tezzla to block all her strikes with her daggers.
As the white general kicked Tanya away, Wes picked up where she left off. The Red Time Force Ranger threw several slashes up top before trying to go for her legs. After blocking the initial strikes, Tezzla leapt over Wes, landing behind him. Before she could literally backstab him, Tanya rejoined the fray and swung her nunchucks.
Tezzla leapt back, but even so, when Tanya's weapon struck the ground, the impact knocked her back. Regaining her bearings, she slashed with one of her daggers.
Unfortunately, the Yellow Ranger was ready for her and wrapped her nunchuck's cord around Tezzla's wrist. Using this as leverage, Tanya swung her arm, flipping the white general onto her back.
Before Tezzla could right herself, she saw Wes standing over her with a BFG aimed right at her. "Hi there," he snarked before firing, making her explode.
Jason and Eric swung their blades, clashing them with Automon's. The three broke their deadlock and leapt back. Jason drew his pistol and fired several shots.
Automon dodged the blasts and fired several of his own, which Eric deflected with his sword. Changing tactics, the orange general began running away.
This move caught the two Rangers off-guard, but they immediately pursued him. As they approached the face of a nearby cliff, Jason noticed two things: Automon wasn't slowing down, and his blade was charging up with energy. Before he could act on these details, Automon leapt toward the wall and rebounded off it, slashing the Rangers as he passed them by.
Automon chuckled as the Red Rangers struggled to pick themselves up. Suddenly, he heard a battle cry, and a new Ranger leapt into the fray. This one was blue and had a helmet resembling a Triceratops. The Ranger slashed Automon across the chest several times before kicking him away.
Jason smiled at the sight of his friend, "I thought you were the punctual one."
"Even I slip up sometimes," Billy joked, helping the Reds up. He looked at Eric, "Wanna see how we do our team attack?"
"I'm game," Eric nodded.
When Automon recovered from Billy's assault, he was thrown off by the formation the Rangers had taken. Billy and Jason were standing side by side, with Eric standing on there shoulders.
"This is your team attack? A cheerleader mount?" Eric questioned as he converted his sword into a pistol.
"Come on, you can't knock it while you're trying it!" Jason snarked.
The three pointed their guns at each other. They all fired, forming a triangular energy blast that launched itself forward. Automon couldn't dodge in time and was hit by it, making him explode.
Wargras dodged several slashes from Leo's sword. He drew a pistol to counterattack, but the Red Ranger used a dagger to knock it away. Changing tactics, the general summoned a spear with stag pincers on one end. Spinning his spear like some pro cheerleader, Wargras delivered strikes faster than Leo could repel, eventually hitting him.
Carlos tried his luck next, wielding a spear of his own with a crescent moon at the end. The two clashed with their polearms again and again. Their exchange was cut short when Leo, unlike the villains, bothered attacking while Wargras was occupied.
This hit distracted Wargras and allowed the two to gang up on him. To finish him off, they hit him with a double energized slash, making him explode.
The sound of blades clashing echoed as Delphine and Crystalis exchanged blows. Like Wargras, the purple general wielded a spear, though hers had dual prongs on each end.
Initially unable to get close due to that pesky spear, Delphine made use of her powers and warped behind Crystalis, landing a slash on her back.
The general spun around and swung her spear, only for Delphine to teleport away and attack from her blind spot again. This process repeated several times until Crystalis wised up. The next time Delphine attacked her from behind, she drew a pistol and fired it over her shoulder, hitting the White Ranger in the chest. Not wasting a second, the female general slashed her opponent several more times, flooring her.
"Any last words?" Crystalis asked, aiming her spear at Delphine.
"Yes: behind you," Delphine said.
Crystalis felt another slash to her back, giving Delphine the chance to counterattack. Her savior was a Red Ranger with a suit similar to her own.
"What took you so long, Aurico?" she asked.
"I was holding out in reserve in case you got overwhelmed," the Red Ranger answered.
Delphine thought for a second about her reply, "I might be mad, but you did just save me."
The two Aquitar Rangers readied their swords and reengaged with Crystalis. Together, they began overwhelming her until they found the perfect opening. They thrust their swords forward, piercing her chest and making her explode.
TJ threw a slash with his Turbo Blade, which Charger blocked with his spear.
The gold general kicked TJ away, and when the Red Ranger charged in again, Charger used his spear to pole vaulted over him and slashed him from behind.
Kendrix took that as her turn to try her luck. First, she attacked with her Quasar Saber, only for the gold general to counter her attacks. When Charger thrust his spear at her, she dodged it and yanked on the spear, pulling him into her elbow.
Charger powered through the strike and kicked her away. Predicting an attack from behind, he held his spear behind his back, blocking a strike from TJ. Using his free hand, he drew a pistol and fired a shot at Kendrix. While the Pink Ranger dodged the shot, Charger spun around and kicked TJ in the junk.
"Cheap move!" TJ rasped as he fell over.
Upping her game a bit, Kendrix summoned her Beta Bow and fired energy bolts from it.
Charger deflected the bolts with his spear and returned fire with his pistol, downing her as well. His feeling of victory was cut short by a battle cry.
A new Red Ranger joined the fray, slashing at Charger with a drill-sword hybrid. Ducking under one of Charger's slashes, he side kicked him and regrouped with the other two Rangers.
Despite the situation, TJ couldn't help but joke, "Andros, you get an F in efficiency, but you do get an A for dramatic timing."
"What he said," Kendrix agreed.
"Let's hit him full force, guys," Andros said, drawing his Astro Blaster.
TJ nodded while summoning his Lightning Sword.
Charger recovered to see that the Rangers were ready and armed to the teeth.
Kendrix and Andros fired from their ranged weapons. While Charger blocked the shots, TJ moved in and attacked with his dual swords. As TJ kept up the assault, the other two Rangers joined in.
Unable to handle four blades at once, Charger began taking hits. TJ and Kendrix threw a tandem slash, breaking his spear while Andros, combining his drill and gun together fired a powered-up shot, hitting Charger and making him explode.
Venjix threw a rapid series of thrusts at Tommy with the pincer mounted on his forearm.
The Zeo Ranger slipped side to side to avoid the strikes, and right as one was about to land, Cole intervened and blocked it with his Crystal Saber. Taking over the fight, Cole and Venjix were evenly matched, thrusting and slashing while parrying each other's moves.
"Cole, double whammy!" Tommy called out from behind Venjix.
Having heard the term during the indoor battle, Cole summoned his Lion Fang for extra punching power. The two Red Rangers struck. Tommy hit Venjix in the back of his head while Cole hit him in the front of his face.
The attack cracked Venjix's faceplate but did NOT make him explode. Managing to stay on his feet, he yelled, "This won't stop me. I still have Serpentera!" He fired some energy blasts from his pincer to distract the Rangers before leaping into Serpentera's head.
All the Rangers regrouped as the draconic Zord began lifting off.
Billy looked over to Danny and Cole, "You guys said your Zords were strong, right? Time to prove it."
The Wild Force Rangers nodded and raised their Sabers, summoning the Wild Zords: the falcon, giraffe, deer, rhino, and armadillo.
"We're gonna need some copilots. Who wants in?" Danny asked.
The three volunteers ended up being Jason, Tommy, and Wes.
At Danny and Cole's command, the Zords combined into the Isis Megazord. Danny looked around the cockpit, "Feels kinda weird being the only guy who's not red."
"You'll have to deal with it, rookie, now let's stop that thing," Jason replied.
The flying Megazord caught up to the dragon mecha, with Wes issuing a challenge, "You want the Earth, Vejix?! You're gonna have to go through us!"
Venjix laughed in his cockpit, "What a joke! You can't even touch me!"
"Wanna bet?" Tommy asked.
The five Rangers went with their big guns and fired the Megazord's spear arm. Unfortunately, the spearhead simply bounced off Serpentera's armor.
"We're not done yet!" Cole declared. He activated the Isis Stare, only for Serpentera to move on like nothing happened. "It didn't get paralyzed?" he muttered in shock.
"I say we try close combat!" Jason declared.
The Isis Megazord got in close, stabbing with its spear and kicking with its feet, none of which did anything.
"I think you've had your fun," Venjix droned. Taking some initiative, he had Serpentera swat at the Megazord with its forelimbs. The Rangers managed to avoid the strikes, but they were struck down when Venjix fired energy from his Zord's mouth.
The blast sent them flying back down to the moon's surface where they landed hard.
Serpentera returned to the moon and shifted into a bipedal stance. "This Zord's power will destroy the Earth! And since you're all right in front of me, you can be its first victims!" Venjix announced. He began fired energy blasts at the many Rangers on the grond, causing them to scatter.
"We need more power!" Jason figured.
"And I think I know how to get it," Cole stated. With the others' attention now on him, he explained, "We all have teammates back on Earth. We can ask to borrow their powers."
Danny nodded, "Hey, that's right. We gave you a power-up once, and we weren't even there for it."
"It's worth a shot," Tommy agreed. He called out to the other Rangers, "Guys, I can see you're busy, but we all need to reach out to our teams back on Earth. All their energy together may be what we need!"
Using their Growl Phones, Danny and Cole contacted their team.
The other Wild Force Rangers were minding their own business when their phones rang out.
"Cole needs to borrow our power? Not what I would've expected," Taylor commented before asking the reasonable question. "How exactly do we do that?"
"I've got an idea," Max said as he morphed. He raised his Crystal Saber, which emitted a blue beam going straight up into the sky.
The others followed his lead, morphing and raising their Sabers. As they lent out their power, they all saw numerous other colored beams shooting for the sky.
"Looks like Cole isn't the only one calling for help," Taylor commented.
The beams of energy all struck the Isis Megazord, making its eyes glow. It rose to its feet while Serpentera was occupied and began growing in size.
Sensing something was off, Venjix turned his Zord around to see that the Rangers' mech now rivaled his own. "Impossible."
"We're playing with power now!" Jason boasted.
Making the first move, the Isis Megazord grabbed Serpentera with its clutcher, holding it in place while it bashed it with its spear.
Not taking the attack sitting down, Serpentera let out a blast of energy from its mouth, making the Ranger mecha back off. It fired another blast, only for the Isis to block the attack with its wings.
"Let's see if it works this time!" Cole said. He had their Megazord use the Isis Stare once more. This time, it had the desired effect, and Serpentera was frozen in place.
"It's now or never, guys!" Tommy told everyone. Together, the team called out, "Final Strike!"
The Armadillo Zord detached from the Megazord's foot and curled up into a ball as the mecha kicking it into the air. Flying up along with the purple Zord, the Isis flipped around and bicycle kicked the armadillo, sending it straight at Serpentera.
The giant Dragon Zord's head was obliterated by the attack, with the rest of its body exploding in short order.
The other Rangers on the ground all cheered at their comrades' victory.
"Hey, now that that's done, anyone feel like going home now?" Justin asked the group.
Once they'd arrived back on Earth, Tommy congratulated everyone, "We've all saved the Earth today, not to mention the whole universe. I can't thank you enough for your services."
"Don't mention it," Jason nodded.
"Yeah, you'd do the same if we were the ones calling," Kendrix added.
As Tommy walked away, Cole commented, "So that was Tommy? He really is the greatest Rangers."
The other Rangers were all comically offended. "Aw, come on, we've done stuff too," Carlos objected.
"Yeah, I've beaten him in a fight. Shouldn't that make me a legend?" Jason smiled.
"Eric and I got to meet dinosaurs," Wes pointed out.
"I got to join the team when I was just a kid," Justin bragged.
TJ added, "Wanna tell 'em about the time we got baked in a giant pizza?" That made everyone laugh.
