Author's Note: I'm writing this cause i wanna explain something: I found out that the author didn't originally plan to kill Ai Hoshino. But later on as he drew her, he thought Ai was too strong of a character, so he killed her off just for that stupid reason. She could've become the Protagonist-chan if he left Ai alive. That's just so messed up.
Anyways, this is the reason why I'm writing stories like this. Full on improvement on Ai Hoshino.

Ai Hoshino is an idol. Her darling daughter admires her for it and is willing to follow in her mother's footsteps. Ai taught her anything and everything there is to know about singing and dancing. As the years went by, Ruby got better and better. And by the time Ruby got into high school, she decided to test herself by auditioning. Ai approved and got her into the best idol industry she could find.
And right now, Ai is waiting for her darling girl to return from auditions. She has some milk and cookies ready to celebrate if she ever made it. Unfortunately, this hopefulness just got sunk down when her daughter returns home. Ai excitedly runs to her, putting her hands on her shoulders with a smile on her face.
"How was it~?" the mother says. "Did you get in? What did they say~? Oh, oh, oh! I made some milk and cookies to celebrate…wait…why are you crying?" Her smile fades as her heart aches to see tears falling from Ruby's eyes and hearing her crying.
"I…didn't make it…!" Ruby sobs. "They said…they said I don't have the requirements…for a true idol. Why? I worked so hard for this and they reject me…?" She buries her head in Ai's chest. "I'm so sorry, Mom! I couldn't fulfill my dream for you! I'm a big failure! I failed you…!"
"Don't say that," Ai hugs her tenderly. "They probably didn't see the meaning behind your singing and dancing. You were dancing happily right? You were smiling all the way till the end?"
"yes…I have…" Ruby answers.
"They didn't see the love you possess," Ai continues. "You were trying to spread love and happiness through your dancing. That's what I've always taught you. Idols spread love and happiness. Those agents didn't want to see that."
"What should I do, Mom?" Ruby looks up at her mother.
Ai smiles. "Why don't you join my agency at Strawberry Productions? I will help you fulfill the dream there~"
"W-w-wait…your idol agency?" Ruby is surprised by this. "Is this…really okay?"
"Of course it is~" Ai smiles and winks at her. "Both of us can spread the love and happiness. We can be stars together~"
Ruby nods and cries happy tears. "M-Mom…I don't know what to say! Thank you…! Thank you so much!"
Ai smiles and kisses her daughter on the lips. Ruby eagerly returns the kiss, hugging her mother. Ai hugs her daughter in return. They passionately kiss for about a minute before pulling away. Ai gently wipes the tears from the blonde's eyes and caresses her cheek.
"You can do it, Ruby~" the purplenette says softly. "I know you can. I believe in you~"
"I know I will~" Ruby says. "Because I'm with you now! I will become an idol with you by my side!"
Ai giggles and gives Ruby another kiss.
