The Ice Cream Invention

The Circus bugs visits ant island and Flik makes a new invention and he shares it with them. How will the bugs react? Will they like it.

Summer is here. So decide to do a summer time A Bugs Life One-shot. Takes place about 12 weeks after Maggie joins the circus and Dim and Maggie are now Boyfriend and Girlfriend And would be one year after my fan made a bugs life 2 story. Ramona and Princess Flika are 2 years old now are walking and talking. Hope you like it.

It was a beautiful day on ant island the ant colony was busy at work. Queen Atta was busy checking numbers and making sure the food is getting stocked up on the offering stone. King Flik is busy at work as always working on some new inventions. Princess Dot was with her friends and Princess Flika was playing with Aphie.

Aphie barking happily.

Princess Flika:" Good catch Aphie!"

Aphie:" Bark Bark!"

King Flik:" Thats a good Flika, keep up the good work!"

Princess Flika:" Thanks daddy!"

King Flik:" Your welcome, my little princess!"

Princess Flika giggled cutely.

Queen Atta came over to see what King Flik was up to.

Queen Atta:" Hi Flik how are things going with the new invention."

King Flik:" Hi Atta, it's going great!" It's almost done." Can't wait to show the Circus Bugs."

Queen Atta:" Thats wonderful, Flik!" It's gonna be quite a warm one today."

King Flik:" Oh yep , we better make sure we're staying hydrated."

Queen Atta nodded in agreement.

Then moments later they heard familiar wings buzzing, it was the Circus Bugs. The Circus Bugs come into view and then landed on the ground. The ants and the royal ant family came to greet their friends.

Queen Atta:" So wonderful to see you again!"

Rosie:" You too. Atta honey!"

King Flik;" How have your performances been!"

Francis:" Same as usual kid!" Pt never seems to give us a break!"

King Flik:" Thats a bummer!" I'm pretty your boss will give you breaks somehow!"

Ramona:" Hi uncle Flik!"

King Flik:" Hello there Ramona!" How are you doing?"

Ramona:" I'm doing good too!" Thank you, Uncle Flik!"

King Flik:" Your Welcome, Ramona!"

Princess Flika:" Hi Ramona!"

Ramona:" Hi Flika!"

Ramona and Princess Flika came to hug each other.

Slim:" It's sure is a warm one today!"

Molt:" I never imagined in summers being warm like this."

The Circus Bugs agreed nodded.

King Flik:" Which is why I made a cool invention I think you guys will like!"

Rosie:" What is it, Flik honey!"

King Flik:" its inside,it's an Ice Cream maker!"

Heimlich:" Ooh can you make candy corn flavor?"

Some of the Circus bugs facepalm themselves accept for Dim and Maggie.

Francis:" Thats all you ever talk about Heimlich!"

Heimlich:" What I can't help it!" I'm hungry!"

Ramona:" Uncle Heimlich we ate before we left remember!"

Heimlich:" Ooohh! Nevermind!"Could we see how your invention works, Flik!"

King Flik:" Of course, Heimlich!" Everyone follow me!"

Aphie barks excitedly at Dim and Maggie.

Dim Shyly growled at Aphie. Maggie was still wasn't quite comfortable yet but is slowly starting too. As if Dim is also defending Maggie as well.

Queen Atta: "Aphie you know better than that, quite barking at Dim and Maggie."

Queen Atta holds Aphie in her arms, Aphie whimpers as if he wants down.

Queen Atta tells Rosie.

Queen Atta:" Sorry about that Rosie!"

Rosie:" It's okay, Atta honey!" It will still take time for Dim and Maggie to warm up to Aphie."

While Rosie reassured Dim and Maggie, by petting Dim and Maggie on their smooth freckled horns.

Then All the Circus Bugs and Queen Atta carried Princess Flika in her arms, and inside the anthill. While they are inside the anthill.

King Flik preps his ice cream invention ready.

Heimlich:" Ooh I'm so excited to try some."

Manny:" I bet, Flik will come up with wonderful ice cream flavors!"

Gypsy:" Well put Manny dear!"

Queen Atta:" He's been working on this weeks for now!"

Princess Flika:" Ice cream!" Ice cream!"

Queen Atta:" Yes , Flika you can have some too!"

Ramona:" Mommy daddy may I try some of uncle Flik's ice cream!"

Manny:" Absolutely, Ramona my dear!"

Gypsy:" Be sure to tell Uncle Flik thank you okay Ramona dear!"

Ramona:" I will!"

King Flik:" Okay everyone ready to see the ice cream get made."

All the Circus Bugs and Queen Atta and Princess Flika nodded in agreement.

King Flik:" Alright here we go!"

King Flik pressed the button and the machine started to make ice cream. The machine makes noises. The Circus Bugs went in Ooh and Awed.

Molt:" Wow look at that!"

Slim:"Wow Flik that's remarkable!"

Rosie:" It seems to be working like a charm , Flik honey!"

King Flik:" Thanks Rosie!" And here we go ta da!" Here is a bowl of ice cream!"

King Flik hands a bowl out to Rosie.

Rosie:" Oh my! Thanks Flik, honey!" Whats the flavor!"

King Flik:" It's Bubblegum!"

Rosie:" Yum!" Seems very delicious to me!"

Heimlich:" Ooh can I have it!"

Francis:" Relax Heimlich!"

Slim:" Calm yourself Heimlich!"

King Flik:" Don't worry Heimlich, Everyone is going to get one!"

Heimlich:" Oooh this so exciting!"

Rosie lets Dim and Maggie try the bubblegum flavor. Rosie shares the bubblegum flavor with Dim and Maggie.

Rosie:" Do you like the bubblegum flavor, Dim ! Maggie."

Dim Shyly and Maggie slowly sniffed at the bowl in animal like manner. Dim and Maggie shyly but surely tried the ice cream.

Dim:" Dim likes the ice cream, Mr ant made mom!"

Maggie:" I like it too Miss Rosie,Thank You!"

Rosie:" Thats wonderful that you both like the ice cream honey's!"

Rosie sat the bowl down so than Dim and Maggie can take their time having their ice cream together.

Moments later,King Flik finished with making the ice cream bowl for himself after he served his family and friends their bowls.

——Later that day—-

The royal ant family and the Circus bugs were talking. Since some of them finished their ice cream, Dim and Maggie were just about finished with their ice cream and Dim shyly nudged the last piece to Maggie. Maggie shyly blushed and she ate it slowly then after finishing, Dim and Maggie shyly smile and gently, nudged each-other while purring showing affection for each other since Dim and Maggie are boyfriend and girlfriend.

Everyone:"Awww!"

Queen Atta:" Awww. The love bugs!"

Princess Dot:" My protector has a girlfriend."

Rosie:" You are correct on that, Dot honey!"

Princess Dot:" Thank you Rosie."

Rosie:" Your Welcome, Dot honey!"

King Flik:" So when will that first kiss be?"

Queen Atta gives Flik look.

King Flik:" What?"

Slim:" I'm pretty sure it's happened when we weren't looking." Since Dim and Maggie are shy about it."

Francis:" Yeah, besides Dim and Maggie just turned 17 recently too."

Tuck and Roll whistles flirty like at the Two teenage Rhino Beetles.

Rosie:" Don't even think about you two, Knuckleheads!"

Rosie gave The pill bugs the stern look, Tuck and Roll annoyingly stick their tongues out and curled back in their balls.

Slim:" What are we gonna do with those two!"

Francis:" Yeah tell me about it!"

Francis rolled his eyes.

King Flik:" I'm pretty sure Tuck and Roll are just trying annoy you guys."

Manny:" You're correct on that one, Flik my boy!"

Queen Atta: "Have you guys tried ignoring them!"

Slim:" Well technically it hasn't been easy!"

Princess Dot:" Why don't you try wearing headphones!"

The Circus Bugs were confused.

King Flik:" Dot uses them to help so she doesn't haft to listen to the boys that bully her!"

The Circus Bugs:" Ohh!"

Molt :" Now that makes sense!"

Francis:" Hhh! Might be on to something kid."

Rosie:" I wonder where we can find, headphones!"

Queen Atta:" Flik made them!" Can Have Flik make them for you guys!"

The Circus Bugs:" Wow!"

King Flik:" Of course I can make them for you guys!"

Gypsy:" That would be wonderful, Flik dear!"

King Flik nodded in agreement.

MeanWhile the adult bugs were talking Ramona and Princess Flika were playing with their dolls.

King Flik:" So have you been in a performance act yet Maggie."

Maggie felt shy for a moment.

Dim Shyly reassured Maggie, and Rosie reassured Maggie too.

Rosie:" It will still take time for Maggie to be comfortable with performing with us, Flik honey!"

Queen Atta:" No worries, about that Rosie!" Maggie is very beautiful she definitely a keeper for Dim!"

Rosie:" Aww, Thank you Atta, honey!"

Queen Atta:" Your Welcome, Rosie!"

King Flik:" Speaking of keeper, Have Maggie and Dim Ever thought of getting married?"

Queen Atta gave Flik the look, she gestured towards Dim and Maggie.

Dim and Maggie shyly blushed at the thought but were very nervous about it.

Rosie:" Um!" For now they're just boyfriend and girlfriend, Flik honey!" I'm not sure if Dim and Maggie are comfortable with talking about the topic quite yet!" They're still very young and still maturing!"

King Flik:" No worries, Rosie Thats understandable!"

While Rosie was talking with King Flik, Dim and Maggie were a little bit relieved.

Dim Shyly noticed that Maggie was a little bit shoken.

Dim:" Dim is concerned about you are you okay, Maggie!"

Maggie :" Yeah , I'm okay just kinda made me a little bit nervous!"

Dim:" Dim understands how you feel Maggie!" Dim felt nervous too!"

Maggie:" I know you're guys ant friends are nice, Just when He brought up that topic just kinda made me you know!"

Dim:" Dim understands Maggie!"

Maggie:" Thank you, Dim I'm glad I'm not alone!"

Dim:" Your Welcome Maggie!"

Dim and Maggie were comforting each other, by gently nudging each other and purring showing affection for each other as boyfriend and girlfriend. Dim and Maggie shyly but secretly kissed each other on the lips and they shyly blushed and smiled.

—later that night—

As the day progressed it was getting late and it was time for the Circus bugs to head back to bug city because they were getting tired. Princess Flika bids her cousin Ramona goodnight and the Circus Bugs bid the ant family goodnight as well and they took off back home. Moments later the ant family went to bed and tucked in Princess Flika from a long day with playing with Ramona. Queen Atta and King Flik have their daughter a kiss on her face and cheek very smoothly with passion.

Queen Atta went into her sisters room to bid Princess Dot a Goodnight as well. Princess Dot did the same gave each other a kiss on face very smoothly with passion. And then Princess Dot fell right to sleep. Queen Atta comes into her's and Flik's room, after They bid Goodnight to Princess Flika and Princess Dot. King Flik and Queen Atta got into bed together and fell fast asleep.

Whew I hope you liked my a bugs life one shot I wrote and as promised I'm writing more Bugs life one shots with Maggie. I absolutely loved this new bugs life one shot I wrote, all I can say is I don't think Dim likes Aphie that much and he doesn't tolerate The pill bugs either. But either then that I absolutely enjoyed this. I apologize for the delay It takes a lot out of me. I hope the one shot stories give the fan's inspiration as well and can even write your own version for A Bugs Life 2 as well. I wrote my own fan made version of A Bugs Life 2 last year. However, When writing these one shots. It takes the time and patience and a lot of brain power to come up with these one shots and I appreciate the fans for being patient with me as a Bugs life fan myself as well. Anyways. I hope you enjoyed my new a bugs life one shots I wrote. There will be more to come. This is why my favorite Oc character is Maggie. I Hope Maggie makes it as a new character in A Bugs Life 2, or even for A Disney plus series would be awesome and brilliant in my opinion she would make a great contender. Dim definitely deserves to have a girlfriend that is like him. Maggie is a perfect mate for Dim.
