(This is a completely unique story, as this is the SWORD ART ONLINE verse instead of the NARUTO verse, so please don't judge what I do)

(P.S, I love SAO and all of its seasons even though season 2 ALO was kinda mid I still loved it and plan on doing EVERY SINGLE SEASON THAT IS OUT. I have watched it over and over again so many times so this story will take place above all else. I will try my best to update the other ones, but don't expect them to be updated over this.)

Author's note: if you love Samehada and Kisame Hoshigaki and the Hozuki clan this is the what if for you, and the pairing is Naruto X Sinon, because Sinon is the best girl IMO, and maybe Suguha too if I feel like it.

Chapter 9: The End and The Truth.

Timeskip - 1 week later
Scene Change: White room under The Town Of Beginnings
POV: Kirito

We see a little girl named Yui who Kirito and Asuna have been taking care of for the base couple of days in their leave of absence, Yui is sitting on a black rectangular prism with Kirito and Asuna standing in front of her looking at her.

(Asuna): Yui, say something….
You remember who you are?..
(Yui): Yes….
Kirito, Asuna.

Hearing their names from Yui shocks Kirito and Asuna as she usually called them mommy and daddy.

(Yui): Everything in the world of Sword Art Online is controlled by a single, massive, system.
The system is called Cardinel, it was designed to operate entirely on its own without any human intervention, its function is to regulate the balance of SAO, according to its own discretion.
From monsters and NPC AI, to drop rates for, Items and Money, everything here is controlled by the process program the cardinal system executes, that includes the psychological care of the players.
Mental health counseling program, prototype 1, code name: Yui.
That is who I am….

Yui then looks up at Asuna and Kirito shocking

(Asuna): You're a program…!?
An AI?...
(Yui): I was designed to put players at ease with me, that's why I was given the ability to emulate complex emotions, nothing about me is real….nothing…not even my tears…

Yui then sheds a few tears.

(Yui): I'm so sorry, Asuna….
(Asuna): Oh Yui….

Asuna reaches her hand out for the girl only to nod, making Asuna second guess her choice.

(Asuna): Then, what about your amnesia?
Can that even happen to an AI?
(Yui): 2 years ago on the day of the official launch and for reasons I never understood, the cardinal program banned me from interacting with any of the players
I wasn't allowed to assist them, I couldn't do anything but continue monitoring their mental states….
Their situation in a word, was horrible…..
Terror, Despair, rage, people were overcome by negative feelings….
Some of them couldn't take it….
They went insane….
Under normal circumstances my function was to go to such players immediately, but I wasn't permitted any contact with them.
Little by little, errors began piling up inside of me, and I fell apart….
Then, one day….
I saw 3 players, their mental parameters were vastly different from anything I'd seen among the others, there was joy and peace.
And there was something more….
In one of the players I saw the need to protect, the need to sacrifice himself to keep someone safe….
I wandered through the playing field, hoping to get as close to you all as I could without being detected, but it was only you 2….the 3rd player, Kisame, was nowhere to be found….
(Asuna): So, that's why you were in the forest….
(Yui): Yes, that's why….

Yui continues to cry, making the mood somber.

(Yui): I've wanted to meet you all for the longest time, that's strange isn't it?
It should be impossible for me to think things like that….
I'm not human, I'm a program after all…..
(Asuna): Yui….maybe what you're feeling, are real human emotions…

Yui then shakes her head in a unsure manner.

(Yui): I don't know, I'm confused, nothing makes sense, I don't know what's happened to me….

Kirito then steps forward and crouches down to see eye to eye level with Yui.

(Kirito): You aren't just some program anymore, the system can't control you.
Listen if you want something all you have to do is say it.
Go ahead tell us what you want.
(Yui): What I want?

Yui then reaches out with tears in her eyes.

(Yui): I want….
I want to stay with you forever, I want to meet Kisame….
Daddy!
Mommy!

Yui then starts crying again, shocking Asuna making her shed a few tears as she rushes over to Yui hugging her.

(Asuna): You will, you'll get to meet Uncle Kisame and we'll be together forever Yui….

Kirito then walks over and joins in on the hug.

(Kirito): Yeah.
Remember, you're our child.
(Yui): It's too late….

Hearing this confuses Kirito and Asuna.

(Kirito): For what?
(Yui): Look….
This is actually a console the GM can use to gain emergency access to the system.

Yui then taps the black prism as it glows blue showing a Keyboard

(Yui): I used it to delete the monster in the Korridor….
And now, because I disobeyed the Cardinals directive, the system is running a check on my program, it thinks I'm a foreign object now.
I'll probably be deleted at once….

Hearing this shocks Kirito and Asuna as they look at Yui.

(Asuna): Oh no….
(Kirito): There's gotta be a way around it!
(Yui): Daddy, mommy, thank you….
This is goodbye….
Please, take care of Uncle Kisame, his mental state is barely holding itself up….

Hearing this makes Asuna cry as she hugs Yui.

(Asuna): No!
I don't want that!
Stay with us!….
Please stay, you can help Kisame!….
We just started living like a real family….

Yui then starts to glow and she starts to fade slowly making Kirito rush over and grab her hand.

(Kirito): Yui, don't go!
(Yui): Whenever you 2 are around you have a way of making people smile, from now on and for me, please continue my work and bring Happiness back to Kisame's fragile heart….keep helping people, share your happiness with all of them….
(Asuna): I can't, I won't, you have to stay with us!
I can't be happy without you!

Yui then puts on a smile and puts a hand on Asuna's cheek.

(Yui): Smile, Mommy!

Yui then fully fades away into a golden light, causing Asuna to look at her hands and then at the light that disperses.
Asuna then backs up a bit and falls onto her knees crying.
Kirito then looks down then gets a scowl and yells out.

(Kirito): Cardinal!
No!
Kaiyaba!

Kirito turns to the console and starts typing on the Keyboard.

(Kirito): You're gonna find out things don't always go the way you want em to!

Asuna then looks up at Kirito, tears still in her eyes.

(Asuna): Kirito….what are you..?
(Kirito): If I'm fast enough I might be able to access the GMs account to access the system.

A screen pops up with multi colored code as a bar shows up and starts to fill up with red.
The bar fills up and a light appears and Kirito gets pushed back against the floor as Asuna runs over to check up on him.

(Asuna): Kirito!
Are you ok?

Kirito then holds out his hand giving Asuna an item that appears to be a frozen teardrop.

(Asuna): What's this?
(Kirito): The system was about to reject Yui's admin credentials, the only thing I could do was take her program and turn it into a game object.
(Asuna): So this is…?
(Kirito): Your holding, Yui's heart.

Asuna then widens her eyes and starts to cry in relief and puts it around her neck in a necklace.

Timeskip - 1 week later
Scene Change: Heathcliff's Office
POV: Kisame

We see Kirito and Asuna back from their vacation standing in front of Heathcliff via Heathcliff calling them back on emergency, Mito and Kisame are up against a wall watching this play out.

(Kirito): The recon team was wiped out!?
(Heathcliff): They were scouting for the upcoming boss fight.
It was a party of 20 different members taken from 5 different guilds.
10 of them reached the center of the room, then the boss appeared and that's when the entrance closed, cutting them off from the rest of the party.
(Kirito): They walked into an anti-crystal zone….
(Heathcliff): Precisely and it couldn't have been more than 5 minutes or so when the door finally opened…
The room was empty, there wasn't any trace left behind of the ten soldiers…or the boss.

Hearing this shocks Kirito, Asuna, and Mito, while making Kisame sweat drop in uncertainty.

(Kirito): You're kidding..
(Heathcliff): Now more than ever, clearing the game should be everyones number 1 priority, we're gonna launch an attack with the largest group we can assemble.
(Kirito): You can count on us to fight with you, but this needs to be clear, Asuna's safety is my priority, if things start to get hairy in there, I'm gonna protect her, that's not negotiable.

Hearing this makes Kisame and Heathcliff smirk and makes Mito smile at Asuna's new found love.

(Heathcliff): A person with something to protect is a strong ally to have, I'm expecting a good fight from you.

Timeskip - 1 hour later

Asuna, Kirito, Mito, and Kisame stay in Heathcliff's office while the man himself and his advisors run off to assemble a raid team

(Asuna): 3 more hours of waiting.
What should we do?
(Mito): I don't know, but I'm starting to get bored Ugh.

Asuna then looks back and sees Kirito staring at Kisame who's against the wall standing next to Mito.

(Asuna): What's wrong with you?
(Kirito): Oh, nothing, there's just something I have to ask you, but I don't want you getting mad at me.
Instead of going to the boss fight could you please stay here?
(Mito): How could you ask her that!?
(Kirito): We won't be able to use teleport crystals so there's no telling what could happen, I'm scared if anything happened to Asuna I-
(Kisame): You're planning to go to a dangerous place alone?
(Asuna): And you expect me to stay here, where it's safe?

Asuna then walks over to Kirito, standing in front of him.

(Asuna): You know what would happen if you didn't come back?
Huh?
I'd kill myself!

Hearing this shocks Kirito and Mito, and leaves Kisame in silence.

(Mito): What!?
Asuna-!
(Asuna): No Mito!
I would never forgive myself for staying behind so what would be the point in living!?
(Kirito): I'm sorry, I guess I'm losing my nerve….
All I want to do is run away with you….

Kirito grabs both of Asuna's hands, intertwining hers with his.

(Kirito): I don't care if we never make it back to the real world…!
I just want to live with you in our little house in the woods…!

Asuna then sighs and looks down.

(Asuna): It be nice if we could do that, be together, everyday….forever….
Have you ever thought about what's happening in the real world?
About what's happening to our bodies while we're here?
(Kirito): Huh?
(Kisame): Kirito, do you remember what happened a few weeks after the game's launch?
How we saw people go offline and stay that way for a while?
(Kirito): Yeah why?
(Asuna): My guess is that's when all the players' real bodies were being moved to hospitals in the real world.
(Mito): If that's where we all are right now, in hospitals, being kept alive by hospital machines, we probably won't survive for much longer with how long it's been.
(Kirito): So that means….
(Kisame): It doesn't matter if we clear the game or not, we're all on some type of time limit and if we don't clear the game soon and wake up we're all gonna end up dead….

Asuna then cries into Kirito's shoulder as he pats her head.

(Asuna): I-I want to…..to stay with you forever….!
I want us to go on real dates and to really get married and for us to grow old together…!
That's why-thats why!
(Kirito): We don't have a choice.
(Kisame): We just have to keep fighting….

Timeskip - 3 hours later
Scene change: Floor 75 gathering

We see Kirito, Asuna, Mito, and Kisame teleport onto floor 75, now in a party of 4.
The party of 4 then walk forward, causing the crowd to look at them and for Kirito and Kisame getting looks of suspicion and doubtfulness from the crowd as the crowd whispers amongst themselves.
Suddenly Klein and Agil come up behind them as the group looks back.

(Klein): Hey!

Klein then waves at them.

(Kirito): No way, you guys are coming too!?
(Agil): That's the best you got?
No way?
(Kisame): Yeah, he's not really one for words, sorry about that Agil.
(Kirito): Kisame, just shut up.
(Agil): Hey man, I shut my shop down to come out here and get this done!
Brother you're looking at a player as philanthropic as they come!
(Kisame): Well if you're so philanthropic today, you wouldn't mind if we took half the drop list would ya pal?
(Agil): Hey now let's not be too hasty man!

Mito, Asuna, and Klein then start to laugh as Kisame gives a shark grin at Agil's expense.
Suddenly the group of 6 merge their parties and look back to see Heathcliff teleport in with a bunch of bodyguards.
They then walk over and Heathcliff holds a set teleport crystal for the Dungeon Corridor up.

(Heathcliff): Korridor, open!

The teleport crystal then glows and shatters, opening a portal to the Dungeon Corridor.

(Heathcliff): Well, here we go!

Everyone then walks through the portal entering the dark dungeon.

(Asuna): Feel that?
There's a bad vibe in here.
(Kirito): Yeah…
(Heathcliff): Everyone ready?
The Knights Of The Blood Oath will be out in front, distracting the boss and blocking its attacks, in the meantime the rest of you have to stay sharp and try to figure out its attack patterns.
I won't lie, this battle will be hard, but I have faith that we can and will prevail.
For our day of Liberation!
(The Crowd): Yeah!

Kirito then tenses up as Asuna grabs his hand, easing him and whispering in his ear.

(Asuna): Everything's gonna be fine.
I won't let anything happen to you, promise, make sure you protect me too okay?
(Kirito): Yeah, you know I will.
(Mito): Ooo, you guys are so cute together!
(Kisame): More like they're so corny.
(Mito): Oh shut up Kisame, you're just a big knuckle head!
(Kisame): Yeah, yeah, whatever you say Mito.

Heathcliff then opens the door to the boss room as everyone unsheathes their weapons, Kirito with his dual blades, Asuna with her Rapier, Mito with Scythe, Klein with his Katana, Agil with his battle ax, and Kisame with an Unsealed Samehada.

(Kirito): Don't die guys.
(Klein): Heh, same to you buddy.
(Kisame): Look at this way, after this we'll be rich!
(Agil): Yeah, I'm gonna make a fortune on today's drops, no way am I missing out on that!

The door then opens up all the way showing the dark room.

(Heathcliff): Forward to battle!

The crowd that is the raid group then lets out a big battle cry as everyone rushes into the boss room.

(Random player): Nothings happening, where is it?

Asuna and Mito then listen and hear a couple noises widening their eyes.

(Kisame): Look up!

The group looks up to see a Centipede like Skeleton creature that makes the raid party widen their eyes.

(Klein): It's the skull-..
(Kirito and Kisame in sync): Reaper!

The now named skull reaper looks at the raid group and shows its name and 5 health bars and jumps down at them.

(Heathcliff): Stay away from it!
Spread out!
(Kirito): This way!
Hurry!
(Kisame): Don't just stand there, run!

2 players then begin to run away towards the 6 until the boss lands making a shockwave of fire stunning them as it slashes them across the chest and as they fall towards the 6 Asuna and Mito go to catch them only to see them shatter into blue glass particles dead.
The 6 widen their eyes in fear and shock.

(Klein): That was one hit!
(Agil): Man we are so dead!

The skull reaper then rushes towards a guy before getting blocked by Heathcliff's shield.
The Skull reaper pushes Heathcliff back anyway and kills the player in one strike of its scythe-like hands.

(Agil): We can't even get close enough to hit the damn thing!
(Kisame): You may not, but I can!
(Mito): No, Kisame wait!

Kisame then goes in at high speeds and blocks the Reaper with Samehada, stopping it from killing the player it was going for.

(Kisame): Damn it, this bastard is strong, but I won't let it beat me!

The boss then goes in and cuts Kisame in half, shocking everyone, only for his lower half to explode in water as Kisame hits the Skull Reaper with Samehada knocking it back as his lower half reforms.

(Kirito): Kisame!

Kirito and Asuna, along with Heathcliff then run over to Kisame looking at the boss that was just put back.

(Asuna): Kisame are you alright!?
(Kisame): I'm fine, it doesn't have electric infused blades, it can't kill me, it can only make me reform.
I know if we block it together we have a chance at beating it!
(Kirito): Ok.
Me and Asuna will deal with the Scythes, everyone else flank it and attack!
(Agil): You heard the man.
(Random player): Ok..!

Everyone else including Kisame charges the sides.

(Agil): Hold still baby!

The reaper then slashes at Agil and three other players revealing Kisame who had taken the hit for Agil and is now reforming part of his right arm, but sadly revealing the deaths of the other 2.

(Agil): Kisame!
(Kisame): I've got you man!

Kisame and Agil look at the boss.

(Kisame and Agil in sync): Damn you!

The Skull Reaper then roars, flailing its sides and tail back and forth.
Asuna then looks over to Kirito.

(Asuna): Ready Kirito!?
(Kirito): Yeah!

Kirito and Asuna charge the boss as everyone charges the boss who is dragging Heathcliff around by hitting his shield over and over again.
Klein gets under the boss and Hits it with a Katana sword skill as Kisame and Agil jump up above it and hit it with a downward slash skill with Agil's battle axe and Samehada, enraging the boss as it swings at Kirito and Asuna who block it and grind there blades against its scythe.
They go in for a double strike as they rush the boss and land their attacks.
Everyone continues to beat down on the boss as it attacks back killing a few players in the process, they continue to attack it wearing its last health bar down to red HP.

(Heathcliff): Everyone, attack!

Everyone charges the boss and starts to beat down on it with their weapons and skills, killing the boss and making everyone drop down to rest.
Kirito and Asuna leaning on each other's backs, Klein sitting down cross legged, Agil laying on his back, and Mito on her knees with Kisame still standing.

(Klein): How many did we lose?

Kirito opens his menu and checks the players to see how many they had lost in the battle.

(Kirito): 14 of us died.
(Agil): Oh my god….

Hearing this makes everyone widen their eyes except for Kisame who just tips his fedora down in thought, making Mito look at him with confusion.

(Klein): And we still got 25 floors to go….
(Agil): 25 more floors, how the hell are we even gonna make it that far?...

The crowd starts to murmur amongst themselves as they sit in silence, Kirito just looks around and stops when he sees Kisame grip his sword.

(Mito): Kisame, what's wrong?
(Kisame): I wanna test something…..
And I hope to god I'm wrong.

Kisame grips Samehada and rushes at Heathcliff, shocking everyone as he hits Heathcliff only to be stopped by a purple barrier and a text saying Immortal Object, shocking everyone at this revelation.
The text then disappears leaving Heathcliff to stare at Kisame who was chased down by Mito, Kirito, and Asuna.

(Mito): An immortal Object, no way…..
(Asuna): Commander Heathcliff what's going on!?
(Kirito): I think I got the answer to that.
Reason why the commanders HP never hits yellow is because he's protected by the system
(Kisame): Ya know I was asking myself this question ever since the game began.
Where could Akihiko Kaiyaba have run off to, where could he be watching us from the shadows.
Well the answer is an easy one and it's standing right in front of us.
It's a basic feeling everyone gets.
Why watch people play when you can join them.
Am I right?
You haven't been hiding in the shadows at all, you're in broad daylight Akihiko Kaiyaba!

Hearing this makes everyone flinch in shock at this new revelation.

(Kaiyaba): Just for my Curiosity's sake, would you mind telling me how you 2 figured it out?
(Kirito): Well the first time I knew something was up, was during our duel.
Remember when you turned the tables on me, that move was way too fast.
(Heathcliff): Yes, I thought so, it was a mistake to think that would go unnoticed by you, but you were so strong and so fast the only choice I had was to engage the systems assist mode.

Hearing this shocks everyone in the room as Kaiyaba looks around, then at Kisame.

(Kaiyaba): And how did you figure it out, Kisame?

Kisame then just points to his ears, confusing the man and everyone else.

(Kisame): I've always had an acute sense of hearing naturally ever since I was born.
When hearing your voice for the first time it felt familiar like I had heard it somewhere before.
The tempo and vibration and way you spoke was exactly like Akihiko Kaiyaba when he had first greeted us on floor 1.
(Kaiyaba): That's an interesting talent you have there and a nice observation.
Appropriate for boy's who were meant to be assassins since birth.

Hearing this shocks everyone and widens Kisame's eyes underneath his fedora's casted shadow.

(Kaiyaba): Anyway, yes, I am Akihiko Kaiyaba, and now that my Identity has been revealed it should come as no surprise on the top floor.

Hearing this shocks everyone except for Kisame, Kirito, Asuna, Mito, Klein, and Agil who were still in shock about Kaiyaba's last comment

(Kirito): So the strongest player in the whole game ends up being the final boss, kinda cliche isn't it.
(Kaiyaba): Actually I kind of like that angle, one thing for sure that isn't the most Cliche thing in this story, I always thought you and Kisame would be the ones before in the very end, ya know dual wielding is a rare skill that's given to the player with the fastest reaction time, but since the system couldn't give that skill to Kisame who was wielding a greatsword type of weapon, the system gave it to you instead.
His little brother!

Hearing this widens everyone's eyes and makes Kisame scowl.
Kaiyaba then paralyzed everyone in the room except for Kisame, because someone tried to attack him, Kaiyaba also streamed this and the next moments to come to the other players in SAO, widening all of their eyes, but widening Silica and Lis's the most as they watch with tears in their eyes.

(Mito): Wha-what!?
Paralysis!?
I can't move!
(Kisame): Shut up!
Stop talking!
(Kirito): Wha-what are you talking about Kaiyaba!
(Kaiyaba): Oh you didn't know?
I thought Kisame would have told you a long time ago, when I sent him the birth certificate and your real name a long time ago when you left the Moonlight Blackcats.

Hearing this makes Kirito look over to Kisame who had an angry scowl on his face and a glare at Kaiyaba.

(Kaiyaba): You Kirito, or should I say Kazuto Kirigaya, are the younger twin brother of Kisame, or who's real name is Naruto Hozuki.
(Kisame): Stop it Kaiyaba, he has nothing to do with my family's history, he's innocent!

Hearing this makes Kirito go wide-eyed as well as everyone else in the room.

(Kaiyaba): You and Naruto are from a family of killers, born into the art of assassination, you were handed off to a relative in order to protect you because you received your mother's black hair and black eyes and not the dominant traits of the Hozuki Clan, you also were handed off to a relative because she died from childbirth, Naruto on the other hand who received the dominant traits and abilities of the Hozuki clan, was to be trained as the next assassin, by your father.
(Kisame): Stop it Kaiyaba!
(Kaiyaba): Sadly your father had died in a car crash saving Naruto from impalement and willingly sacrificing himself for his son, after that Naruto was then taken in by an old man named Hiruzen Sarutobi who didn't have the heart to make the boy into a killer and instead taught him the techniques in defense to protect himself but sadly-
(Kisame): That's it!
I'm done trying to reason!
If you won't shut up I'll make you!

Kisame then rips his Akatsuki cloak off as he puts a hand on Samehada and fuses with it turning his hair black and his eyes red as well as making his skin blue and growing 3 sharp fin like blades on his arms and back as he rushes Kaiyaba and attacks Kaiyaba with a couple sword strikes which Kaiyaba had turned to block them.
Kisame and Kaiyaba are now clashing, leaving Kirito deep in thought at this new revelation and getting flashbacks at all the times Kisame was there for him, putting the pieces together and finally realizing why he never left his side.

(Kaiyaba): You didn't let me finish.
(Kisame): I don't care!
(Kaiyaba): Then you don't care that the old man committed suicide?

Hearing this shocks Kisame as he jumps back.

(Kisame): What!?
What are you talking about? Grandpa would never do that!
(Kaiyaba): I wouldn't expect you to know since you were in here, but when it was announced on National television that you all were stuck in SAO he blamed himself and took his own life a few weeks later when you were admitted into the hospital.
(Kisame): No!
No…It can't be true!
(Kaiyaba): Oh but it is.

Kisame then falls onto his knees making his fedora fall off his hat revealing the teary widened eyes of Naruto.

(Mito): Kisame…..
(Kaiyaba): Now, I'm going to head for the top floor and wait for all of you there.
I'll be inside the ruby palace.
It's a shame I have to leave you all so soon, I've spent a lot of time developing the nights of the blood oath and other elite players.
Oh well you're all strong, so I'm sure you'll reach me eventually, but before I go I feel you feel some kind of reward for discovering my Identity Kisame so I'll give you a chance.
(Kisame): Chance….
Chance for what….?
(Kaiyaba): To fight me right here right now, oh and my immortality will be deactivated and I'm going to use an electric infused sword so you won't be able to iframe my attacks with your intangibility.
Defeat me and everyone will be able to log out of this world, no strings attached.
What do ya say?
(Mito): Don't do it Kisame!
Please….

Naruto looks back at all his friends and newly revealed brother and gives them a sad smile.

(Kisame): I have no other choice
(Mito): Kisame, don't do it!
(Agil): Kisame, don't!
(Klein): Kisame!

Kirito can only watch in shock as he watches the person who has protected him for all this time accept Kaiyaba's duel

(Kisame): Agil!

Hmph, I knew about your little secret, you can act greedy all you want, but I know you helped the intermediate players level up with your earnings.

Hearing this widens Agil's eyes as he looks at his closest friend in SAO.

(Kisame): Klein.
I'm sorry I bailed on you that day the game started, I should have gone back and brought all your friends with me and Kirito.

Hearing this makes Klein shed tears and look down.

(Klein): Damn it Kisame, don't you apologize, don't you dare apologize now I won't accept it, I'll never accept it until we're on the other side and you're buying me dinner God damn it!
(Kisame): Fine with me, guess I'll see you on the other side.
Mito, thanks for listening and being there for me in my time of weakness.
It means a lot ya know?
(Mito): Kisame…..

Kisame then turns to Kirito and Asuna.

(Kisame): Guess my secret is out, hey little bro….
I'm sorry I failed you….
I should have done more as your big brother, but I just ended up hurting you instead….

Kisame then sheds a few tears as Kirito widens his eyes crying hearing these words and seeing Kisame look at him in such sadness.
Kisame then wipes his tears away and looks at Asuna.

(Kisame): Take care of him for me okay?
You think you can do that for me Asuna?

Asuna then nods with a sad look on her face as Kisame turns around to face Kaiyaba.
Kaiyaba then changes himself to a mortal object and lowers his health to the exact same as Kisame's, being about a quarter away from being full.
Kisame then charges at Kaiyaba with a murderous look in his eyes clashing his right arm blade with Kaiyaba's and starts to clash over and over going back and forth clashing with each other making a melody out of the sound of the blades clashing faster and faster by each second.
Kaiyaba jumps back and goes for a strike at Kisame's head only for Kisame to dodge getting a cut on his cheek lowering Kisame's health down to almost half as Kisame speed blitzes behind Kaiyaba shocking the man at the pure show of speed until Kaiyabe gets hit with an x shaped slash on the back courtesy of Kisame and lowering Kayaba's health down to yellow almost in the red.
Kisame then goes in for strike but Kaiyaba blocks it doing the same Maneuver he did to Kirito back at the colosseum where he turns slightly, making Kisame go forward and off balance.
Naruto tries to get out of the way, but gets stunned by a sudden shock of electricity caused from his cheek's cut, seeing this widens the eyes of Naruto and Kirito, who sees time stop for a moment as everything slows down.
Thinking back to all his moments with Kisame, Kirito overcomes the paralysis curing himself out of sheer will power and rushes over and blocks the strike to the shock of Kaiyaba, Naruto, everyone in the room, and everyone watching.

(Asuna): Kirito!
(Kisame): Kaz-..uto?
(Kaiyaba): Now this is a surprise, I'm sure I never programmed a way for players to neutralize their own paralysis.
This must be an act of fate, so then Kirito, Kisame, let this be a 2 on 1 battle to the death!

Naruto stands there in shock as Kirito starts yelling a battle cry and attacks Kaiyaba in a flurry of attacks over and over as Kaiyaba blocks them all.
Suddenly when Kirito goes for a strait piercing attack on Kaiyaba's shield only for Dark Repulser to break and explode into blue glass particles, as Kaiyaba goes to cut Kirito in half Naruto rushes in front of the attack, pushing Kirito out of the way as Kirito and everyone else widens their eyes as the watch the seemingly invincible Kisame the Monster of the Mist get cut in half.
Suddenly Naruto holds his arm out towards Kirito and releases Samehada from there fusion launching the sentient blade hilt first at Kirito making the boy react and catches the shark sword in his now empty left hand as Kisame's shirt and arm warmers reappear out of thin air.

(Kisame): Kazuto!
Use Samehada as a replacement. |
It's all up to you now!
(Kirito): But Naruto, it will only listen to you!
(Kisame): No, It will listen to you, trust me, your my brother and from Hozuki descent it will listen to every command you give it, I'm trusting you!

Naruto then explodes into blue glass particles, widening the eyes of everyone there and putting a dead look of sadness into Kirito's eyes as Mito and Lis who is watching from the stream, cry seeing the one they loved seemingly die in front of their eyes.

(Mito and Liz in sync unknowingly): Kisame!

Kirito falls to his knees as Kaiyaba looks at him disappointingly.
Kirito stands up and swing's the elucidator at Kaiyaba pathetically as Kaiyaba dodges the swing easily, Kaiyaba then gains a disappointed look as he knocks the Elucidator out of Kirito's right hand and onto the ground.
Kirito then looks down as Kaiyaba goes in to pierce Kirito through the gut as Samehada blocks the strike on its own protecting Kirito at his masters last wish, seeing this surprises Kaiyaba and Kirito as Kaiyaba raises his arm to go for another swing.
Suddenly Kaiyaba's left arm that was holding his shield goes flying off from a water bullet surprising everyone in the room as Kisame reappears holding up a finger gun until he dashes forward and holds Kaiyaba in an arm lock (Visualize what Goku did to Raditz) stopping Kaiyaba from moving as he struggles.

(Kaiyaba): What!?
(Kisame): Not yet!
I'm not finished!
Kazuto, do it now!

Kirito widens his eyes as he sees what Naruto is doing and quickly reacts but second guesses.

(Kirito): But Naruto!
(Kisame): Kazuto if you don't do it this death game will continue, I'm already about to die anyway now do it little brother!

Kirito then gains a surprised expression and new found resolve as he lets out loud battle cry and his eyes turning gold as he impales Kaiyaba and Naruto with Samehada killing Kaiyaba and Naruto in the process making them both shatter into a effect of blue glass particles.
When the effects clear we see Kirito without Samehada as it had suddenly vanished without a trace, walk over and pick up Naruto's fedora.
As everyone is free from their paralysis Asuna rushes over to Kirito and gives him a kiss that surprises him as the others run over seeing what Kirito is holding as Asuna backs away from their surprise kiss.

(Asuna): You dummy!
You had me all worried!
You could have died….
(Kirito): Well I'm fine….
I wish I could say the same for Kisame…..
They all look down at the ground as Kirito stares at Naruto's fedora while a voice comes over the intercom of Aincrad saying a few words as a Giant Congratulations text lays over the sky making everyone look up.

(Aincrad Intercom): On November 7th on 2:55 PM the game has been cleared, repeat, the game has been cleared.

Hearing this widens the eyes of the players all over Aincrad as Asuna looks at Kirito in joy until Asuna starts seeing everyone disappear assuming they're being logged out looks to Kirito.

(Kirito): I guess this is goodbye Asuna….
(Asuna): Un uh, this isn't goodbye, we're gonna be together in the real world but before we go back to the real world and be together, I want you to know my name….
My name is Asuna Yuuki….

Hearing this makes Kirito smile warmly as he puts Naruto's fedora on and puts his head against Asuna's.

(Kirito): Kazuto.
My name is Kazuto Kirigaya….

Kazuto and Asuna share one last kiss before disappearing.

(Asuna): I'm happy I got to meet you Kazuto…and to be with you and to live with you….
This is the happiest I've been in my whole life.
Thank you for that, and I love you….

Asuna and Kazuto start to shed tears as Kazuto looks at her and hugs her as they both disappear in a blue light.

Scene Change: In the sky above Aincrad
POV: Kisame

We see Kisame open his eyes seeing himself in a different place somewhere in the sky wearing his usual attire without his fedora and Samehada mysteriously on his back somehow as he left it with Kirito, Kisame then opens his menu to see a downloading percentage that says 55 percent slowing go up, Kisame then closes his Menu and looks down to see Aincrad slowly falling apart confusing him.

(Kaiyaba): A stunning view isn't it?

Kisame then looks up in surprise to see a man with brown hair and with his hands in the pockets of a lab coat standing there beside him stoically.

(Kisame): Akihiko Kaiyaba….
(Kaiyaba): At Argus headquarters, the SAO mainframe is in a room 5 floors below street level, and right now it's deleting all the data from its drives.
In about 10 minutes, everything in this world will disappear forever.
(Kisame): What about all the players?
What happened to them during all this?
(Kaiyaba): You don't have to worry about them.

Kaiyaba then opens his Menu to show a player list of all the remaining players as he swipes up showing more names.

(Kaiyaba): The 6,147 players who survived the game up to now, were logged out a few seconds ago.
(Kisame): What about the 3853 people who died, are they really gone?
(Kaiyaba): They'll never return.
In any world, real or virtual, once you're dead, you're gone.
(Naruto): I see….
May I ask why you did all of this?
(Kaiyaba): That's a good question….
It's been so long I've forgotten the reason….
Isn't that strange?...
Even before I developed the system for the full dive environment, I dreamed of this, a castle in a world that wasn't governed by earthly laws or restrictions.
I poured my life into that world a reality.
I created this world and I got to see something that surpassed anything I could've imagined for it
My steel castle, floating in the sky, I don't remember how old I was when I became obsessed with it.
I wanted to leave the earth, to fly to that castle, I wanted that more than anything else for as long as I can remember.
Ya know what Kisame?
I want to believe it's still out there, that somewhere in some other world, my castle is still standing taller than ever.
(Naruto): Well anything is possible as long as you can imagine it, you can make it a reality!

Kaiyaba looks at Kisame in surprise as he expected him to look angry or sad, but no, Naruto was….happy?

(Naruto): I know what you're thinking, how could I be happy saying something like that, but the truth is you gave me the chance to see my twin brother, a chance to protect him and be a big brother to him….
And for that I thank you Akihiko Kaiyaba!

Kaiyaba just looks at Kisame in shock as the strange boy gives him a shark grin.

(Kaiyaba): Before I forget, Congratulations on clearing the game Naruto.
Well then I should probably get going now….

Kaiyaba then starts to walk off before being stopped by Naruto calling out his name.

(Naruto): Wait, Akihiko Kaiyaba!
(Kaiyaba): Yes, Naruto?
(Naruto): Is there any way you could make it where I could keep Samehada by my side in any fulldive game I play?
(Kaiyaba): Sadly I cannot.

Hearing this Naruto looks down in a somber mood.

(Kaiyaba): But it's not because of Aincrad being deleted, it's because Samehada is a part of your soul.
I just simply split it off from your fluct-light.

Naruto then looks up with a confused face.

(Naruto): Fluct-light?
(Kaiyaba): Heh, don't worry about it for now, I'm sure you will learn about it in the future, so just know if you want Samehada by your side all you have to do is just will it by your side and it will be with you every step of the way on your fulldive journeys.
Well, this is goodbye….

Kaiyaba then walks off as Naruto waves with a shark grin on his face as Kaiyaba walks off into the distance as Aincrad finally breaks apart destroying the Steel castle completely.

POV: Kazuto Kirigaya

Kazuto Kirigaya wakes up and sees the ceiling with a bunch of lights, he then holds his hand up to see it all shrivid and skinny.
He then remembers Asuna and widens his eyes and sheds a few tears, takes the Nerve gear off his head revealing long black hair about shoulder length.
He grabs a nearby metal thing with wheels on it (idk what its called) using it to weakly stand up and start walking, making the medical attachments and vital checkers to come off, making the heart monitor go flat as Kazuto slowly makes his way across the hospital halls with one thought on his mind, Asuna.
Suddenly Kazuto falls, but suddenly gets caught by someone.
Kazuto looks up and widens his eyes seeing who caught him.
Standing there holding Kazuto up was a fully healthy Naruto who wasn't skinny and looked perfectly fine like he wasn't in Sword Art Online a day in his life.

(Naruto): Hey there little brother, happy to see me?
(Kazuto): Naruto…!?

Naruto then gives him a shark grin making Kazuto cry in his older twin brother's arms as the Nurses and Doctors rush to see the sad, but beautiful scene of brotherly love as they help Kazuto back to his room and do check ups on Naruto.

Authors Note: I really loved making this story I had to re-watch Sword Art Online to get the most accurate story as possible I plan on starting season 2 after this posting this, tell me your thoughts on this story and I purposely skipped most of the Yui arc because Naruto is not there and it doesn't have anything to do with him for the most part, so If you have an issue with it you can go cry about it, anyway Leave a review and give me your thoughts on what you thought about Season 1 of this amazing story.
