As they lined up in a row, Phillip grabbed Eloise's hand. Penelope thought they were so cute together. If only there was someone to …

Colin grabbed Penelope's hand. "Any advice for first-time members of Saturday Morning Jump Club?" Colin asked.

"Nope, it's one of those things you have to experience to understand," Penelope said.

"I'm a little nervous, will you keep holding my hand when we jump in?" Colin had a big toothy grin on his face that said otherwise. But Penelope found herself mesmerized.

"Of course," Penelope said.

"Penelope, can I borrow your floaty?" Eloise asked. "I totally forgot mine, and you're like a fish in the water."

"No worries," Penelope passed it down.

The countdown began.

"Here we go!" Phillip called out as he and Eloise ran toward the ledge to jump in. Penelope and Colin were right behind them.

As they hit the water, Penelope was shocked by the temperature for a quick second. But quickly she adjusted as she rose up to bring her head above water. She kept ahold of Colin's hand the whole time.

When they rose up and were treading water, Colin came up sputtering.

"Oh come on, it's not that cold." Penelope teased.

Colin just fake-shuddered in response.

"Did you just shiver?" Penelope laughed.

"I'll show you shivering," Colin released her hand and dunked her. Penelope was not one to give in that easily.

Thus ensued a dunking fight, even Eloise and Phillip got pulled into it.

Finally, Eloise convinced Phillip and Penelope to help her catch Colin, who had been dunked the least amount of times.

Colin shook his head back and forth as he came back up to get his hair out of his eyes.

"You guys are wild." He said. They all called a truce. "How long do you usually stay in the water?"

"Not much longer. We'll head to the ladder once there are fewer people." Eloise said.

The next group had jumped in, so the ladder was swarmed. But it didn't take long to clear up.

"Wait, we didn't bring any towels," Colin noticed.

"Correct, we'll lay in the sun to dry off before we leave," Penelope said.

Eloise and Phillip chose to lie down a little ways away to give Penelope and Colin more time together. They were having a lot of fun watching the two fall into each other's orbit.

"It's a hot and sunny day - perfect weather for Saturday Morning Jump Club," Penelope said, as she added some sunscreen to her face.

"You're right," Colin said.

"I usually am," Penelope replied and lay down on the ground to get comfortable.

Colin shook his head. "Not about the weather," then he smiled and lay down next to her, "Well you're right about the weather too. But I meant about my career. I love writing and I'm not ready to give that part up. I really like the idea of starting a book."
