Later as the group was sitting closer together and discussing their plans for the rest of the day, Colin was trying to figure out how to spend more time with Penelope. They were mostly dry, and it wouldn't be long before they all left.

"So, Penelope, what are we doing tonight?" Colin asked with an emphasis on 'we' and put his arm around her shoulders.

"Nothing planned at the moment. Why? Did you want to grab dinner?" Penelope asked.

"Yes, I'd love to. I still have to go see the rest of the family today, but let's do dinner." Colin said.

"Ah yes, the other six siblings," Penelope said with air quotes around the number.

Eloise groaned. "Alright, that's enough. For the last time they exist, and to prove it to you, you're coming over tonight. I'm texting everyone that we're doing a family dinner." Pulling out her phone Eloise started texting the group chat. It didn't take long for the responses to come in. Shockingly, everyone was available - even Daphne and her husband. Their mom was going to be so happy to see everyone.

Usually, it took weeks if not months of planning to get the whole family together. Colin was a little annoyed that Eloise had been able to pull this together in a few minutes. Normally, Colin would be excited to see everyone, but not when he's trying to plan a date with Penelope.

While tonight's date was out of the question, Colin was never one to give up that easily.

"Yes, great, come meet the rest of the family," Colin said. "But, I'd love to take you to dinner alone and learn more about you."

"That sounds wonderful," Penelope said. "Let me give you my number."

After exchanging numbers, Penelope had to go.

"I'll see everyone later! Bye!" She called out.

After a chorus of goodbyes from the group, Colin lightly punched Eloise in the arm.

"Are you kidding me? Did you have to have the full family crash our date tonight?" Colin said.

"Listen, if you're not married in the next year, I'll owe you money. But I'm pretty confident this will just be the first family function of many that Penelope joins." Eloise said with a smirk. Phillip wrapped his arm around Eloise's shoulders in agreement.

Eight months later, when Penelope and Colin returned from their elopement, Colin subtly slid a wad of cash over to Eloise.

The End.
