Every year, Max's parents sent him to Camp Campbell. Every year, he'd meet new people; people he believed were too stupid to get along with.

But the summer he turned 10 years old seemed to switch his life around.

He remembered the day vividly. Tall, slender, sporting a mustard yellow turtle neck top and burgundy jeans. Blue eyes and a brown bush for hair. He introduced himself as Neil.

Next to Neil, a petite girl with scars and bandaids on either side of her face. Bright, magenta eyes, unruly matcha-colored hair. She wore a mustard yellow tee, burgundy overalls overlapping it. She came to be known as Nikki.

That girl was wild. It was like Neil and him had their own guard dog. She loved bugs, she loved to play in mud. She liked chaos and was her own god of destruction.

Now that he thought about her...it was..comforting..

Max now sat with a scowl, looking around the bus. He was now 17, and still being sent to the god forsaken camp camp. His parents were hardly even home anymore, so sending him here was a 'blessing'.

How Camp Campbell still stood 7 years later still had him stumped.

The kids from 7 years ago continued to show up, as a promise to each other. Towards the end of the first summer Max eventually warmed up to everyone; they all promised to meet here on the same day, every year. It was something out of a fairy tale; no other campers dared to show up- and if they did, they were driven out of the camp immediately; scared shitless of the regular campers.

The bus came to a sudden halt, the fairly aged Quartermaster uttering a simple, "We're here."

Max gave the man a nod, gathering his bag and stepping off the bus.

A few people were there to greet him, watching him come into view with grins. Ered stood, hardly changed over the years, waving at him. He was now about the same height as her, 5'11. She looked nice, the 'cool kid' outfits evolving more into a retro goth look.

Nerris, the petite girl sported better cosplay elf ears, a natural makeup look, a staff with two die, and a cape. Her clothes were a simple navy blue quarter sleeve and leggings. She smiled at him, braces on her teeth. Her glasses were round and made her eyes look large, a look Max thought looked cute on her.

...Anyways.

He didn't pay any mind to the other campers; the others pretty much kept the same appearance.

A new pair of blue eyes made Max nearly jump out of his skin.

"Neil! What the fuck?!"

The male in question didn't change too much- all the really changed was the top he wore. Neil was still Neil- Neil will always be Neil.

Neil scratched the back of his neck, chuckling nervously, "Sorry Max. You seem to be in la-la land."

Before Max could respond, Nerris piped up, "Has anyone seen Nikki yet?"

As if on cue, a blur of green filled their vision, zooming away as fast as it came.

Then, it tackled Neil and Max, who cursed as they fell.

Nikki giggled, looking up at them, "Hi, boys!"

Her voice had the same hyperactivity to it, suiting her still petite frame. Only 5'3 now, her hair was down to her back and as wild as ever. Her magenta eyes were bright, wide as she eyed them. Her body was filled out; a small hourglass with petite breasts, wide hips and the thighs to match. She wore overall-shorts and a yellow crop top under it, sneakers and ankle socks.

She showed a lot of leg. Nice leg- Nikki grew up the hottest.

Max blinked at the thought and focused in on Nikki. He smirked and pushed her off, "We missed you too, you animal."

Nikki grinned and stood up, dusting herself off. As Neil opened his mouth to speak, David, looking like his cheery self, began to speak.

"Welcome back Campers! Who's ready for their first activity?"

Max groaned. It's gonna be a long summer.

I needed to write SOMETHING in this fandom. I'm really late, but I'm in love. Leave me be.

Let me know if you're interested in more! See you soon!
