"Awww, they're doing good for their first play date, plus there's daycare at Avengers Campus." Rocket said to Carol as the kits and baby Flerkens were having snacks after playing for awhile which made Nebula and Rocket happy along with Carol and Chewie noticibg Nebula was quiet.
"You alright Nebs, you've been quiet is everything okay." Rocket asked softly seeing her nodding as she was having her Crabby Week starting so didn't want to tell him in case he freaked out knowing he'd understand whispering into his furry ear looking like they were playing telephone which Carol foubd cute hearing the baby Flerkens and kits yawning, guessing it was time fir naps seeing Carol agreeing as she was helping Nebula and Rocket put them down for their nap kissibg their heads.
"You guys are really good at being parents as the kits are pretty good with the baby Flerkens so they might be ready for daycare." Carol told Nebula and Rocket while having coffee making Nebula blush at this.
"Maybe but we aren't rushing this decision, Carol." she replied seeing Rocket nodding.
"That's a good thing, and Chewie is putting her sweet lil ones in daycare." Carol replied to them.
Later after the play date, the kits were playing and getting cuddles from their parents plus unaware of what the grownups had been talking about daycare something that made them curious, as Rocket the look of curiousity in their eyes asking what was on their minds.
"Dada what daycare." Flower asked making her brothers and sister nod in agreement as Rocket explained impressing Nebulaguessing they'd been listening to what they'd been saying, guessing they understood after all hearing excitement from them guessing they wanted to try feeling their dad paw-bump them gently chuckling.
"You guys are geniuses you know." Nebula told them grinning.
"Yeah, we know." RJ told him as they were getting ready for dinner, plus Nebula and Rocket were proud of their kits for making a good decision, but hoped they'd be okay at daycare despite Rocket reassuring her that they'd be okay plus their Flerken pals would be there so it would work out.
"Rocket, did you tell the kits they could dig a hole to Groot knows where." Nebula asked making Rocket's eyes surprisedky widen seeingva giant hole in the backyard and the kits had dirt all over them and their baby claws making him face palm realising he'd given them the idea admitting it saying he'd been joking and hadn't expected them to take it literally
"When daddy said about digging a hole to Grootknows where, he was joking and you could've dug to the centre of Knowhere which would be intresting but bad okay." he explained making Nebula grin taking the kits inside to get cleaned up while Rocket covered up the hole so the kits couldn't dig ut back up again facepalming at being stupid to say that and then, the kits went and did it, they could have fallen in or gotten hurt.
"Ugh next tine I should be careful with my words, they're impressionable and hope they're okay." he told himself smacking the remaining dirt off his paws returning inside noticing the kits on Nebulas's lap and had been watching him cover up the hole which they were not happy making Rocket sigh, knowing they'd get over it going to wash up.
