Today Avyanna is getting ready for a interview for the BAU (Behavioural Analysis Unit). She's always wanted to help the FBI/Police just someway to help people find closure, something that she never had.

Standing inside her bathroom in the apartment, looking at herself in the mirror she washed her hands and face quickly since she had a shower last night then brushed her teeth. The feeling of the mint inside the girls mouth awakens her a bit more than she was before. She needs to be more awake to make a good impression on the BAU Section Chief Erin Strauss. Leaving the bathroom and heading to the kitchen putting the coffee on. Grabbing the cell phone and connecting it to the speakers and playing The Weekend.

After washing the empty coffee cup and plate. She head to the bedroom upstairs and lay a outfit out for the day; white blouse, plain back slacks with a pair of black heels. Putting the outfit on, she walked to her vanity moisturising her face then doing her makeup a natural look; concealer, blush, eyeliner, mascara, and strawberry lip-gloss. Walking down the stairs, she made sure to pick up her favourite beige coat. Instead of putting it on she let it hang from her arm since it was too hot to add any extra layers. Throwing her bag over her shoulder she began to leave.

Avyanna was excited. It was something new, something different. It was what she needed.

Although she had arrived, Anna decided to stay put in the car (Ford Bronco SUV) for a few minutes to think about whatever came to mind. Leaving the coat in the car and grabbing her bag, she shoved it over her shoulder locked the car. Before walking in she took a deep breath. There's no need to worry, she was ready for this. If Anna didn't get the job she'd at least know she tried.

Walking in there was a lady at the desk. She had a red bob and white glasses, her makeup was done to perfection. Heading towards her anna began to speak "Hi-" The un-named lady looks up"-would you mind telling me where to find Chief Strauss please?" After looking Avyanna up and down she scoffed, rolled her eyes and pointed towards the elevator. "You'll find her on the sixth floor"

After thanking her for her help Anna wished her a good day. Making her way towards the elevator she clicked the button and began waiting patiently. She was thankful for the time to herself, it let her think and calm down. She was going to do fine, there was no need to have any doubt. Not long after reassuring herself the doors had opened, allowing her to walk in. Thank god no one else was inside.

Stepping out of the elevator all she could see were clear glass doors. Freezing on the spot, she was physically unable to move. It was him. The boy... Now a grown man, looking nothing like he did back then. But of course what could she expect, everyone ages and changes with time. Though all she could do was blink. The world seemed to be spinning with memories, ones they had both made. Together. It wasn't until someone had tapped her shoulder, breaking her out of her trance, did she return to reality. Startled with the sudden contact, her eyes darted to the person in front of her... a girl?. She had straight black hair with bangs slightly covering her eyebrows, appearing to be not much older. The woman opened her mouth "Hey, hey its alright relax. I'm Emily, do you need help?" She had a worried expression on her face, something Anna hadn't seen directed toward her for a long while.

"Oh. Oh I'm sorry. Um I'm here for the interview with Erin Strauss, do you know where I'm meant to be?" The voice crack at the beginning of the sentence left Anna slightly embarrassed, but she didn't let it interrupt her. After being urged to follow the woman, she took her to cedar coloured double doors. Wishing her good luck with a tender hand on Avyanna's shoulder and a comforting smile, Emily walked back to what Anna assumed was her group of friends. After a few seconds of knocking on the door she heard someone politely say "Come in"

Opening the door, she peaked her head in with a charming smile before completely walking in, shutting the door behind her. Extending her hand, she shakes the Chiefs before introducing herself.

"Hi I'm Avyanna Wilson I'm here for the job" She replied with a slight nod toward Avyanna and then gestured for her to sit.

"So Miss Wilson why do you want to become a Profile?" And that's where we begun.

After the interview we both stood up and shook hands agian and then there was a knock at the door. The Chief told the unknown person to come in so they did and that's when I saw him, and he stared right back at me. With thos big brown eyes just like he did back then. All those years ago.

He started talking but Avyanna cut him off before he could say anything. "Hi I'm Avyanna Wilson. Nice to meet you sir." He raised his eyebrow at Anna and all the girl did was mouth to him Later. The Chief told us that she was hired and that the youngest woman need to talk with 65txzthe man that she thought she'd never see again. We walked out of the door and down the hall. We were out in the open on floor sixth. He stopped dead in his tracks and when she realised he had stopped she went back and stood Infront of him it was her turn to raise a eyebrow.

"C-can I hug you?" He said just under a whisper she was shocked he asked to hug her, he never used to. This was different he's a changed man. It took her back but all she could do was just nod and he lunged forward and wrapped his hands around her back while the shorter person wrapped her arms around his waist he whispered "I really missed your Ava.."

"I know me two." They just held each other for a minute then went in his office

!With the team!

They were just watching the scene unfold a stranger hugging Hotch. There Unit Chief. Aaron Hotchner. Hugging someone.. They were so confused. Derek looked around "Okay whats going on? We are all seeing this right? I mean he doesn't even hug us?" Emily and JJ just nod there heads

Reid the comes out with a fact about why he thinks they were hugging each other. The rest just look at him like he's crazy "What its true!" They roll there eyes and turn mack to the 2 who's now going into his office. They spot Hotch glaring at them and then closes the blinds.

Rossi looks around confused "Does he ever close his blinds?" Emily shakes her head and then speaks

"I met her earlier.-" all heads whip to her "-What she was lost i gave her directions to Strauss?"

She finished and then someone asked her. "Whats she like?"

"Well it was quick interaction but shes on edge like startled a lot but she was polite?"

She sat down and watched as Aaron close his blind and turned around and then smiled at her then went back to his serious face and took a seat. He put his hands on the desk and I copied his actions. He then spoke "So congratulations on the job?" He kept his lips in a tight line. Which you could tell is his professional face.

"Well thank you SSA Aaron Hotchner" I giggled at the name. He always wanted to be a lawyer never a FBI agent but I could see it. Him bossing people around carrying a gun protecting the innocents.

He rolled his eyes at the way I said it "Haha very funny. Anyways how have you been?"

"You can just ask you know but.. thing have been amazing since I left there about I think round about maybe 4 year ago."

"That great to hear I'm proud of you Ava" He paused. There was a knock at the door turned when a blonde walked in she was wearing a long sleeved top with black jeans and a belt. She looked about mid twentys. "JJ come in this is Avyanna Wilson she'll be joining the team" The brunette stood up and shook the blondes hand.

"Hi, I'm Jennifer Jareau but everyone calls me JJ I'm the communications liaison" She smiled at Anna which she returned obviously.

"Everyone calls me Anna" well everyone except Aaron. She smiled then turned to Aaron.

"Hotch we have a case." She sighed then waited to be dismissed.

"Alright we'll be there in a few minutes get the team." She left and closed the door behind her. Then the only woman still left in his office turned towards her old friend. He was grabbing something and passed it to Ava. "This is your badge and gun, just dont forget them i remember how you were." She laughed softly at the thought of her losing things constantly when she was younger

Flashback

Avyanna was running through her house on the phone shouting "I swear to god Ron I cant lose them!"

"Just keep looking I'm sure they are there somewhere." A voice came through on her phone.

"He'll kill me if i lose the keys Aaron." She paused all that was heard through the speaker bit was panting and footsteps.

"Ava calm down you dont want to have a panic attack agian. Look, I'll look here see if you left them here." On the other side in the 19 year olds bedroom he was rummaging through stuff.

"Your-your right i just need to breath while I can.." Ava knew she had to calm down and get into the right mindset. She needed to be okay. She needed to be looking for the keys. So she wasn't late getting her siblings before she got hurt.

"Ava! Ava! Do not think like that I'd do anything for you and that means protecting you from him." He was getting sick of his 16 year old friend not sticking up for herself. Or even going to the police but he understood why she never did. Ava sighed heavily knowing that he'd go to the end of the earth for her but she didn't want him getting hurt in the process. "Aha! got them Ann calm down they r here ill be over in 5 I promise you bye."

This time she sighed in relief. "Thank you, thank you , thank you a million times okay just come straight in love you bye." He replied like he normally did when she said that.

"You two Avs" And they hung up

End of flashback

"One time that was!" She said defending herself. Aaron shook his head and stood up walked around his desk and put his hand out for her to grab. When she grabbed his hand, he pulled the brunette up and leaned into her ear breathing before he whispered sending goosebumps down her back.

"We all know that's fake." He pulled Avyanna out of his office and dropped her hand as they walked through the bullpen to the room with the round table. People were standing talking then they started to quiet down when they realised that Aaron was standing in the doorway.

When he had all there attention he made room for Anna to walk in and introduce herself "Hi I'm Avyanna Wilson but yous can call me Anna!" She said cheerfully trying to make a good impression on the first meeting of her colleagues. They all introduced themselves; Derek Morgan, Emily Prentiss, Spencer Reid, David Rossi and lastly the bright one Penelope Garcia.

But Garcia left as soon as the introductions were done. They all sat down and Avyanna was between Aaron (ofc) and Emily. JJ stood up and handed files out to everyone and picked a shiny remote up and 3 females IDs came up; 2 blondes and a brunette. "These are Lydia Hart 19, Danielle Turnbull 30, Kayla Anderson 24 They all were last seen at different hotels in Ohio. All 3 women were sexually assaulted-"Avyanna tensed up nobody except Hotch realised it so to calm her down he put his hand on her thigh squeezing it as he was telling her, he was there."-them and then stabbed then in the chest several times" Everyone flipped to the next page in there files and it revealed a word on each of the victims shoulders 'You' 'Cant' 'Catch'

Morgan looked up first "He's taunting the police. He thinks this is just a game"

JJ carried on "They were all missing for 3 days before being found outside the same hotels they were last seen at." Avyanna grabs her childhood friends hand that's still on her thigh and squeezes his large hand

Then Emily asked a question "Do they have any connections to each other?"

"Yes Lydia and Kayla went to the same school but that's it, I've asked Garcia to do background checks"

After Briefing

"Wheels up in 30" Hotch announced just like the end of every briefing. "Um Av-Anna, Stay back." He almost slipped the nickname Infront of his colleagues but fixed it. It seemed like the team didn't realise his mistake because they didn't say anything all they did was leave to the bullpen to get there go bags.

But Anna did what she was told and stayed behind. "One you should really get used to calling me Anna Infront of your team"-She laughed"- two what's up?" She stood up and grabbed the file from the table and started walking with Hotch. They passed the bullpen where everyone was and out of the double glass doors and stood outside of them.

Hotch pulled her to the side where the window was and hugged her. She patted his back awkwardly. "I'm fine Ron, I'm going to have to get used these cases we both know that." He let go and said sorry for hugging her at work. "Hey it's okay i just haven't had anyone hug me in a while. That's all. I'd tell you if anything was wrong. I promise." As she said this she held her pinkie out for him and they linked there smallest fingers together and kissed there thumbs to seal it just like they did as kids.

"Still hung up on Ron huh?" All she did was nod her head and grin. Linking arms they waited for the elevator. The woman leaned her head on the taller persons shoulder as they got in the elevator. Waiting for the doors to close on them they saw Emily eyeing them. The two went to the car park and headed to her car "How'd you afford this?" He whispered shocked that she could afford a Ford Bronco. She giggled and went into the boot of the car and pulled out a black bag and put her left index finger over her lips and made a shh sound. They then made there way to Aaron's black SUV still linking there arms and waited for him to get his bag. When he grabbed it he locked the car and of course they linked arms agian.

The Jet

JJ and Emily sat in front of each other in two of the four seats while Ava and Rossi sat on the other two. Hotch was standing behind Avyanna. Morgan was leaning against the table. While Spencer was next to Morgan on a seat. And Garcia was on the screen giving the updates about what she found about the girls. "Other than the two girls going to school together nothing nada." She stopped suddenly stopped looks were passed around the Jet and Derek asked.

"What is baby girl, what did you find?" All that was heard was a keyboard getting tapped constantly.

"Well all there parents went to the same school together and it seems 2 of them used to date Mrs Anderson and Mr Turnbull."

"Alright thanks baby girl"

"Anytime sugar, Garcia out." and she hung up Anna leaned over to JJ ear and whispered

"Are they always like that?" JJ turned to the girl and laughed while nodding and mouthed All the time.

After a little bit of asking questions about where she used to work about where she grew up and her family.

She lied.

Hotch knew.

Avyannas phone rang "Sorry guys" and she picked up the phone while standing. "Hey kid" And walked to the back of the Jet out of hearing reach. They all turned to Aaron.

"Hotch does she have a kid?" Derek asked with a bit of curiosity in his voice. All he got in return was a shake of a head.

In the back of the plane.

"Hey kid" She said to the person on the other side of the phone

"An-Anna." The voice cracked. Avyanna could feel tears rising in her eyes making her vision go blurry, she turned so her back was facing her team. "He-he did again"

"Sweetie breathe Maisie, has he passed out?" She waited patiently for an answer. All she got was heavy breathing.

Hotch turned around and saw Avas hand shaking he walked up to her and put his hand on her shoulder and squeezed it. He grabbed the phone from her hand and put it to his ear. "Maisie is that you?" he asked the caller

The sobs through the phone got quieter "A-Aaron is that really you?"

"Yeah hun it's me, just keep talking to me".

And that's how they spent the rest of the flight; Aaron talking to Maisie, Avyanna watching how he calmed her 14 year old sister down just like he used to do it with herself. And at the front the team were coming up with sinorios what was happening.
