Che-low once more my ever lovely and ever loyal peeps!
So here we go once more with a new chapter, finally focusing on the Security Breach Arc. One i'm sure you all have been eager to see, now how will things change with Xero there and Gregory already trapped within the Pizze Plex inside Freddy's room before hand? How will it all change?
Well, not much will change during the first portion of the story but trust me, there will be some changes becoming very prominent very quickly. As a freebie for sticking with me through this crazy ride, both for the original version and new version, here is a little nugget of information that you may all chew on:
Chica, Roxy and Monty WON'T be shattered.
Or they might but they won't stay in permeant shattering, as this isn't cannon. They won't stay "Dead" for good or broken beyond all repair.
Nope, i have plans for them and plans, that may or may not involve what people were originally hoping for in the FNAF Security Breach game. And ya know what, just for shits and giggles, if you want an idea of what will happen, check out the FNAF video on YouTube called "Death is TOO GOOD FOR YOU, William Afton". It's great. But that's all your getting out of me, now onto the chapter itself. As always i own nothing but my OC.
So please read, review and "What the fuc-BOOM"
Chapter 3: Lights, Camera, RUN
12:15 AM, Freddy's Green Room
6 Hours And 45 Minutes Till Doors Open
"It is good you are awake, Mr. Mazoku." Freddy spoke, as Xero rubbed his head, feeling like he was hit by a rampaging Berserker. The young boy looked like he was ready to lose whatever shit he had left and was barely keeping it together. After everything the boy had been through, now trapped in this giant mall of death, he couldn't blame Gregory for feeling like this.
"Hey, it'll be alright kiddo." Xero, acting purely instinct, patted the boy head and tried to smile a reassuring smile, "It's not the most ideal situation we're in but it could be worse. You could be trapped in here alone without myself or Fred-bear over there."
"Y-yeah, but what are we going to do now?" The boy was able to keep his voice from sounding panicked or as scared as he really was, but the older man could hear the slight bit of fear in his voice. The kid might be good, but he wasn't that good, "We're trapped in here until 6:00 AM."
"First, we need to get out of this room." Xero said, as he slowly got to his feet, nearly falling over but the Glamrock helpfully caught him and helped him stand on his two feet. "Thanks. Now, as i was saying, we need to get out of this room. As much as i would like to stay in this room, as much as you'd think it be a good idea it's not. We're sitting ducks in this room with not a lot of room to move around, let alone hide that rabbit lady figures out were your hiding Gregory. It would be better if we were mobile and, on the move, constantly switching spots making it harder for her to find you. This mall is huge after all, plenty of places for us to hide until morning and no matter how good she is, it will be impossible for her to search the ENTIRE Pizza-Plex before morning. This is the best chance we have at keeping you out of her slimly grip. Better yet, it gives me a chance to investigate this place, look through every nook and cranny to figure out just what's going on in this twisted place. To figure out how this place is connected to the ongoing missing kid's case. It's not ideal, i know but it's much better than being a sitting duck, you agree kiddo?"
Gregory, after listening to his reasoning, slowly nodded, "Yeah. I think that's a good idea but how do we get out of here. The doors are locked."
"Yes, that is indeed a problem." The robotic bear said, as he put a hand to his chin in a very human like manner, "Maybe, yes, that would work. Gregory, there is a vent beside my recharging station that you can fit into. The vents should lead you outside the rooms, into the main walkway, allowing you to open the door from the outside."
"You sure about that Fred-bear?" Xero raised an eyebrow, "Because I'm pretty sure vents aren't strong enough to hold a person, let alone a child crawling through them." Even if that kid looked thin, dangerously thin at that.
"There is no need to worry, Fazbear Entertainment made certain to design this building to withstand several would be disasters, including making things such as vents much bigger and tougher then normally made. There was an accident a long time ago in the early days, where's a young woman was found dead in one of the vents of the old locations. It's, ah, mostly to prevent any accidents like that from happening again."
That or the brutal murders of several kids, many whom were stuffed into suits by their killer.
Xero barely held back a snort at that, yeah right. No doubt it was either a PR move to try to make light of what happened in the past or worse, something far more sinister in nature. Which made that little tab bit of information all the more suspicious in nature to the Magus. Just what the hell were they up too this time?
Call him cynical and yeah, if any member of Fazbear Entertainment so much as BREATHED the wrong way, he would be very suspicious of it but can you really blame him? Since its creation, the Fazbear name has either been connected or a direct result of someone's suffering, nearly killing Xero at one point in time, had his mother nor arrived in time to stop it. Others won't so lucky and that's why he was here, to do what Michael "Mike" Afton and Henry Emily could not:
End the horrors of Fazbear Entertainment once and for all.
But first he had to get this kid out alive and possible save Vanessa/end Vanny as well. Which was shaping up to be a hell of a lot harder now that he'd been stripped or at the very least, been blocked from using his magic.
But first things first, he had to get out of this room and seeing as the whole vent thing was the quietest option, aside from breaking down the door which would make A LOT of noise, he would go for the quieter option.
Xero then turned to the small boy, "Gregory, i won't force you but-"
"I'll do it." The kid surprisingly agreed with little hesitation, as Freddy nodded, as the large artificial bear walked towards one of those present looking boxes and pulling out a watch? No, two watches, bright yellow and had some sort of strange mini screen on it, "Here. These are novelty Fazwatches. With these we can keep in constant communication with one another, send messages and even be used to call me whenever you are in danger. That is, provided i can reach you of course."
Ah, well that is convenient.
After strapping the Fazwatch on, the boy walked towards the back door and pushing a brightly colored button that was shaped like his head? Seriously, was that button a Freddy shaped head? Who the hell thought that would be a good idea and why would they even implement it, even if it was a good idea?
With a click and swish of the metal door opening, it revealed a backroom filled with brown boxes, other items, etc. It even had a charge station, which Xero presumed was where Freddy used to charge himself when the show was either over or getting ready to begin. Conveniently many of those boxes were stacked in a way that Gregory could in fact climb up to crawl into the vents.
"Here, let me give you a hand kiddo." But Xero didn't trust the boxes to hold the admittedly rail thin child, as he hooked his hand under the boy's armpits and lifted him into the vents. But before Greogry could move into the vent, "Hold on a second kid, take this pass." Xero said as he fished out a brightly colored card, "It's an all-free pass card that will get us into anywhere in this mall. Use it to get me and Fred-Bear out." The kid made no objection, as he nodded, taking the card and slowly made his way into the vents as Xero kept his eyes on him till the boy vanished within the maze of vents.
Maze of vents...
"Did i just condemn a kid to death via vents?" Xero wondered to himself, despite keeping his face in a perfect poker face (Mostly out of habit) he was getting a little worried he might have allowed a kid to die. Seriously, did he just send a kid to die a slow, painful, horrible death?
The Magus didn't have wait long for his train of thought to be disturbed as both him and Freddy heard Gregory over his Fazwatch.
"There's something wrong with this pass. It won't open the door."
"What?" Xero blinked, "That's impossible, i designed that pass myself, it should-"
Beep-Beep
Suddenly Xero got a message on his watch and still confused, he clicked it. The message only had one thing to say:
"No cheating this early in the game, V."
Shit.
"Hmmm, perhaps there is something else we can do." Freddy mused, while Xero tried to think of WHO had the power to deny his all-purposes pass from, well, passing through any arena of the Pizza-Plex, "Ah, of course. There should be aPhoto Pass near the convivence counter. I already assumed you had one or that Mr. Mazoku's card would work but a Photo Pass should be enough to get us out of this room."
Xero paused, looking up from the watch and just stared at Freddy. A Convivence counter? Really?
That's an actual thing?
His disbelief lasted longer than he thought, as Xero heard a Hiss and the door slide open, revealing Gregory. Smiling, Xero patted the boy on his head out of pure instinct, "Thanks kiddo."
"Great job, Superstar."
Neither Xero nor Freddy's noticed the embarrassed blush on the boy's face, nor the happiness shining in his eyes, as he stood a little taller. Walking out of Freddy's room, Xero almost covered his eyes to shield them from the sheer blindness of the neon lights. Goddess this place was fucking bright.
"So, where do we go from here?" Gregory asked, as Freddy answered.
"There are services tunnels underground that connect and lead all over the Pizza-Plex. Though that door," The robotic bear pointed towards the red, double doors with a painted figure of himself, "we will be able to go anywhere in the Pizza-Plex. Normally such places are off limits to guests but you two are, ah, special cases."
Yeah, no shit.
"Then let's go."
Well with that, the trio made their way to the double doors, as Freddy led them to it. On the way there, Xero idly noted the cutout of "Pirate Captain Foxy" and wondered something.
If Roxy was the replacement for Foxy, what happened to the old fox? Hell, what happened to fan favorite Bonnie too, getting rid of him shouldn't have been a choice made lightly. It was almost as bad as getting rid of Fred-Bear, the face of the franchise. But even with all these facts, the company STILL chose to phase him out of the band, decommission him for seemly no real reason and replace him with Monty.
It's almost like something terrible happened to him and the company needed Monty to save face.
Or perhaps a certain furry killer needed a new body...
As these dark thoughts swarmed through Xero's mind, he, Gregory and Freddy walked down seat of concrete stairs, leading into the underground passageway. But by the time they made it down a third of the way, a voice called out.
"HELLO. LITTLE BOY, IF YOUR DOWN HERE, SAY SOMETHING."
A very familiar voice of a certain hot blonde security guard.
"It's her, she's down here, we have to go back." Gregory whispered to the duo, looking scared at the thought of being found by the blonde security lady. Xero, in response simply put a comforting, reassuring hand on the boy's shoulder, as Freddy spoke.
"Do not worry Gregory, even if we are spotted you will be safe with us. There is no way Officer Vanessa would never suscept the three of us traveling together. However, it would be best if we stay hidden from her, least I would get sent back to my room and be unable to help you or Mr. Mazoku."
Probably for the best.
Reaching the ground floor, allowed Xero to see these "Services tunnels" and as shady as Fazbear Entertianment is, they did have moments when they felt like a legit company. Namely, down in the service tunnels, with the all the dust covered brown boxes, forklifts, circular wooden tables and even some old Fazbear products like Foxy posters, cutouts of the casts, etc.
Hell, Xero was even certain that he could see railroad tracks on the floors, like an underground railway meant for transporting items.
The three companies walked in comfortable silence, going past several STAFF bots with brooms in their hands, just sweeping dust away. The bots themselves were sleek with oval shaped heads, with blue like hair atop their heads, human-like upper bodies complete with arms and a segway lower half meant for rolling around very quickly. As they made their way down, he spotted words in large, blocky white saying things like:
"B2-MAIN"
And "COR-NW"
Possible meaning different places and or sections within the Pizza-Plex and how to get to them by going in a certain direction. But as they were making their way past a pair of closed off arena's, via a wired fence, Freddy suddenly stopped as he looked down at Gregory with an expression of horror on his face, "I feel you are broken."
Broken?
What did he mean by broken?
Gregory on the other hand, waved off Freddy's concern, "Don't worry, i'm fine."
Wrong answer.
"No. I feel something is wrong with you." Freddy then scoped Gregory up in a princess style carrying, as the large robot bear started speed walking away, "I am taking you to the first aid station."
"Hey wait!" Xero called out but clearly the bear either didn't hear or didn't care, as he all but ran towards said first aid station, ignoring Gregory's own protests. Xero let out an "Ug" as he followed after them but hearing new footsteps closing in on their position, when he reached the duo, Xero grabbed the younger boy, disappearing into the medic booth to hide from Vanessa.
How was he so sure it was Vanessa?
Simply put, her footsteps are much lighter and even when walking, Freddy's footsteps are LOUD. Thus, it was either Vanessa or this bunny lady that was hunting Gregory, hence fourth, whoever was coming was someone they most certainly did not want to see them. This turned out to be the smart choice, as the second Xero and Gregory were within the photo booth, closing the red curtains, Vanessa came into view with a very bright flashlight.
"Freddy! You're supposed to be on lockdown and in your room."
"O-officer Vanessa, i do not know how i got here."
Wow, Xero didn't know how it was possible, but it seemed old Fred-Bear was an even worser liar then himself.
Clearly, Vanessa thought the same as, while he couldn't see her pretty face, he could see her moving her free hand to her face, most likely to pitch it, "Well, you blew it tonight, you know. Your system crashed and ruined the entire show. Now Parts and Services have you on reduced power, they say it's a safety precaution. Just one more thing to deal with." The blonde sounded very tired and very frustrated.
"I apologize."
"Ok..." Vanessa took a deep breath before addressing Freddy again, "Look, some kid and man are sneaking around backstage. If you see anything, notify me immediately. I already alerted the others; they'll be on the lookout for those two. Now, go back to your room." Then, without waiting for a response, Vanessa rather rudely stomped off from the robotic bear in search of her two quarries'.
Well shit.
Xero waited for a good minute, making sure he couldn't hear Vanessa's footsteps no more, before he removed his hand from Gregory's mouth and the duo existed the medic booth.
"I told; she was after me." Gregory said, sounding more scared then smug at the fact he was right, as his eyes darted all around for possible enemies.
"I said nothing, i and Mr. Mazoku will keep you safe Gregory. Let us go."
"Now, hold on a second, we got here because you said Gregory was 'broken'." Xero stopped the two, raising an eyebrow, "What happened to all that and for the record, i don't see anything wrong with him."
"Ah, yes." Freddy winced, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly, "It appears i made a mistake. Being on reduced power mood and safety mood has my sensors out of tune, so to speak. That is my fault and i apologize for wasting our time."
Bullshit.
Xero wanted to call it out but seeing how earnest and sorry the bear was, he let it go. But keep the whole "Reduced power" and "Safety mood" in the back of his mind as something to look into later. Besides, they had to get moving.
So, with a roll of his eyes, Xero allowed Freddy to lead the way, as the trio started making their way towards a possible exit. The silence was heavy, now knowing the three other stars of the Pizza Plex and who knew how many STAFF bots were alerted, it would make getting around all the harder for the duo. But the silence was the hardest on Gregory, who decide to break it, "So, what you said earlier about theses tunnels, does that mean we can go anywhere in the building?"
"Correct." Freddy beamed, happy to talk about something, "Fazer Blast, Monty Golf, Roxy Raceway, they are all accessible to STAFF. With high enough clearance of course. Guests are normally not allowed down here but, ah, like i said before, you two are a special case."
Clearly.
As they fell into silence once more, Xero noted the many covered up items in tarts, small, yellow moving vehicles and even large concrete pipes down here as well. Though weirdly enough, after moving past one of the chained-up fences, xero saw a multiple number of STAFF bots with hard hats on, surrounding...something.
"This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder."
The silence was once again broken, as the trio ascended more stairs, leading to a floor labeled;
"B1"
Possible meaning the floor number or section. The trio made it to a large open section, where's it had another closed off arena with a chained fence and a recharge station. The long, empty corridor only had two STAFF bots patrolling and on the side of the wall, it read;
"B1-COR-FD-6"
Which was convenient, as Freddy slowed down, making the two looks back at the orange bear, "I am terribly sorry but the recharge cycle was not yet complete when i met you two. You must contiune on without me, i will do my best to help guide you via your Fazwatches but as i am now, i am no help to either of you."
"What?" Gregory looked scared anew, as he turned to Freddy, "I don't know if i can do this alone."
"Hey, you're not alone kid." Xero patted Gregory's back with a smile, "You have me."
The boy looked back at Xero before nodding, with a small, "Okay."
Freddy smiled at the two, before moving towards the recharge station and put himself into the cylinder. Just as the two made their way to the door, Xero potted a pink duffle bag, making him wonder what that was going here and upon seeing it open, spotted a sticky note within but nothing else. How odd, idly wondering just why anyone would leave this behind, Xero looked at the note, as it read the following.
ATTENTION KITCHEN STAFF - All food materials must be securely stored at closing. Chica has been caught eating from the kitchen garbage after hours. The maintenance repairs are costly and will come out of kitchen staff paychecks. - MANAGEMENT
"What's that?" Gregory asked, as Xero handed him the note, allowing the boy to read it before he wrinkled his nose, "Robots can eat and Chica choses to eat garbage?"
"Evidently." Xero simply shrugged his shoulders, "Not that it makes much of a difference i think."
"Why?"
"Because Chica knows where she belongs and keeps going back to her rightfully place: Among the trash." That got a little laugh out of Gregory, as Xero grinned, "Ah, no wait, it's because she knows her bosses are trash and would rather eat trash then the garbage they keep feeding her. Which is pretty bad, if trash tastes better than the crap, they keep feeding people." That got more giggles and laughs from the boy, making Xero smile even more.
It was good to laugh, laughter was good for the soul.
The duo made their way through the twists and turns of the corridors, not spotting anyone, not even STAFF bots along their chosen route. Moving past bathrooms, storage rooms and long, twisting halls half green, half pink with Freddy's grinning face on it.
The duo finally arrived at a sort of boiler room, with only wired fences separating them from the steaming pipes and large boilers themselves. Possible meant for heating up water and other sections of the Mega-Pizza Ple-
"THERE YOU TWO ARE!"
Startled, the duo looked behind them, to see Monty crashing his way through the wired fence with ease. Like Freddy, Montgomery "Monty" Gator is an animatronic based on an alligator, rather than a bear. Just like the Glamrocks, he is designed to have a 1980s glam rock aesthetic. Monty is overall colored in green, with yellow color for the stomach, jaw, some segments for the tail, and spots on his reptilian-textured body and tail. He bears a red mohawk and green-colored suit armor. He has sharp teeth and claws painted in black. His eyelids, a streak-like paint on his muzzle, feet, and hands (excluding the fingers) are also tinted a purple color. To top it all off, he is wearing a pair of star-shaped sunglasses, spiked bracelets, purple shoulder guards, and has his own, yellow-colored bass with black stripes.
"How the hell did i not hear him?!" Xero yelled at himself internally, as he scooped Gregory up in a one arm hold, throwing the boy over his shoulder like he was a sack of potatoes, "Time to go, hold on tight Gregory." The boy did so, as Xero started running down the long hallway with an angry robotic alligator hot on his heels.
But just as they reached the end of the hallway, he almost turned left but stopped seeing not only ANOTHER closed off fence but a certain wolf, banging on the gate, "Are you lost?"
Roxanne "Roxy" Wolf was an animatronic based off of a wolf, a gray wolf with amber eyes. She has silver, waist-length hair with green bangs, as well as a gray tail with a silver tail-tip. Her fingers, muzzle, inner-ears and the front of her torso are silver as well. She has claws on her hands and feet, colored green and purple respectively. Her face is painted to look like she has makeup, with purple eyelids, purple lipstick and black mascara. Black stripes are painted on her cheeks, resembling whiskers. Her body is segmented at the joints, with ball-jointed arms, hands and legs. Small, rectangular panels are found on her upper-arms, torso and thighs. Like the other members of the Glamrocks, Roxanne's clothing is reminiscent of the 1980s. She wears a red crop top, red short shorts and red shoulder pads that are patterned in black spikes. Her forearms and lower legs are purple, patterned in black tiger print, resembling arm/leg warmers. She wears a black studded wristband on each of her arms, as well as a studded collar and belt. She has a studded earring and hoop earring in each of her ears.
Swifty turning on his heel, Xero took off in the right direction, jostling Gregory on his shoulder but to his credit, the boy kept his grip. Just as the duo were about to lose their pursers, after escaping down yet another long hallway, before they could go up the stairs, the last of the Glamrock band showed up, Glamrock Chica, as she burst her way through a horde of black, metal boxes, "Lost boy and handsome gentlemen here!" She cheerily and robotically called out.
Just like the other members of the Glamrocks, she is dressed in a 1980's vibe. She is a white-pink chicken with an orange beak, purple eyes, pink eyelids, long eyelashes, and orange feet. She has a few stray feathers that stick out from the top of her head with a pink hair bow, pink triangular marks on her cheeks, pink eyeliner around her right eye, and pink lipstick. Just like her Toy & Funtime counterparts, Glamrock Chica's body is noticeably curvy, giving her the generic athletic build. She has a light pink chest piece, a narrow, dark pink, metallic waist, small dark pink shoulder guards above her segmented arms, which end in green, fingerless gloves. She has a dark green, leopard print right leg, and a magenta, zebra print left leg, meant to resemble leg warmers. She wears black, studded bracelets on both of her forearms, and dark green, triangular earrings.
"Motherfucker!" Xero couldn't help but curse loudly, as he doubled timed it, running up the stairs to get away from the three members of the Glamrock band. As the two humans raced their ways up the stairs, Xero was able to stop a new blocky white letter that read;
"STR-LB"
If he remembered right, that meant there would be some sort of security office nearby, where they could hide in. The flight of stairs was nowhere near as long as the last set and with four upper levels later, the duo found the security office. Getting inside was easy, as the door was already open and once inside, Xero all but slammed the button shut, preventing anyone from entering the office.
"Oh god, that was too close." Gregory said with a deep sigh of relief, as he slid off of Xero and sat on the ground. Looking around, the security office looked exactly as one might expect. Complete with several computer monitors connected to security camera's, two steel doors and a...power gauge that showed the door they just came through barely had ten percent power left.
Son of a bitch.
"Well done you two." Freddy's voice overcame their fazwatchs, as Xero stared annoyed at the gauges, "You found a sercuity office and will be quite safe in there. The doors were designed to keep our highly trained security staff safe in the event of an emergency. As long as the doors stay closed, you two will be safe. Which they will, as long as there is ample power."
Which there wasn't!
"Freddy, the power is only at 15% and they're pounding on the door!" Gregory hastily explained, looking very worriedly at the door, "How are we going to get out of here?"
"I'm open to suggestions, Fred-Bear." Xero said, trying and failing, to find a way out.
"Do not panic. You should see an interface on the security desk. Hold on while i will make it accessible to you two." A couple of seconds passed, with the pounding getting louder as Monty tried to get in, before Freddy spoke once more, "There, you can now active security protocols." As he said this, the Freddy head shaped button on the desk turned from red to green, allowing Xero to push it, but nothing happened till Freddy spoke again, "Now both of your fazwatches are connected to the security camera systems. Check the map on your Fazwatchs." Xero and Gregory did so, showing another arena with Chica seemly roaming robotically, "Those boxes on your mini-map are nearby security cameras. When movement is detected by the cameras motion sensors, you should see red alert icons. Switch between the cameras to find a safe path out of the office and to the main lobby."
Simple enough.
Clicking on the button of the opposite door, the duo existed the office, leaving a banging Monty behind as they made their way towards the main lobby. But before they encountered Chica's route, Xero stopped Gregory, as he knelt down, so he was eye level with the boy, "Gregory, listen to me. This will be much quicker and a lot safer if you allow me to carry you from here." Xero held up his hand, as Gregory opened his mouth but closed it with an annoyed look, allowing his new friend to finish, "I don't mean that in an offensive way, i mean i will be the muscle, you will be my eyes and ears."
"What do you mean?"
"What i mean is that i am a highly trained, skilled agent with years of experience doing this kind of thing with a body that can pretty much outrun these machines easily. But having to protect you makes it harder on me but instead of letting your smallest be a weakness, we'll turn it into a strength. Thus, i will be the main body of our little team up, carrying you anywhere we need to go, while you use the Fazwatch to keep an eye on our enemies and anyone trying to sneak up on us. Save your energy for when you really need it, as i can keep going for days on end, alright? I'll be the brawn, you be the brains, deal?" Xero held his hand out, a way to seal their deal as Gregory thought it over for a moment before nodding, taking his hand.
"Deal."
"Alright then, climb on my back." Gregory did so, climbing up, so Xero was basically giving him a piggyback ride. With Gregory secured on his back, Xero slowly made his way around the corridor as Gregory kept on eye on the camera, waiting for just the right moment to move.
It didn't take long, as Gregory saw Chica start to eat garbage again, he whispered to Xero, "Now! While she's distracted."
Xero did so, moving silently and without making a sound, sped past the robot chicken before she even realized they were there. Moving down the next hallway, the Magus spotted more white, blocky words painted on the wall that read;
"F1-COR-LB-4"
Main lobby then. With a smile, he set Gregory down and the two went up to the orange double doors, opening them to reveal the main entrance to the Mega-Pizza-Plex in all its shining glory!
"We made it!" Gregory couldn't help but cheer in happiness, finally able to get out of-
"GREGORY MOVE!"
Before the young boy even realized what was going on, he felt the older man push him a good couple of feet, towards the entrance. He barely had anytime to realize what was going on, when he heard the sound of flesh meeting metal. Just when Gregory was able to regain his footing, he turned around and, much to his horror, the bunny lady was slicing Xero's throat open!
The young boy's eyes widen in horror, as blood gushed out of the man's throat like a fountain, as he clutched it, dropping to his knees and casting one look at Gregory, he mouths only one thing:
Run.
So, he did, the boy bolted towards past the gates, leaving the entrance behind, as the bunny clad woman laughed manically, "That's right meddler, you meddled with the wrong people and paid the price! This is what," The bunny woman begin to kick Xero's bleeding out body with glee, "for meddling where you aren't needed or WANTED! THIS IS WHAT YOU DESVERE!" The woman let out strangled gasps of laughter as she kicked the body of Xero, before turning her attention to a running Gregory. The woman grinned evilly behind her mask, as she retched her knife from her latest victim to chase down the traitor.
Oh, what a happy day, she killed the meddler and was now hunting down the little traitor, so she could bring back her beloved master.
Yes, a happy day indeed! ~
With Gregory
"No where to go Gregory~."
The small boy never once felt as helpless as he was feeling now in his short life. After months on the streets, he finally made two friends, one a robotic bear and another, a young man that could genuinely wanted to help him was now dead because of him. Because he dared to ask for help and now Mr. Mazoku was dead because of his stupid ass!
THUD
In his grief-stricken mind, Gregory tripped over his own foot, sending him crashing to the floor with a heavy "THUD" and scrapping his knees on the sleek, clean floors of the Pizza-Plex, landing in front of the giant, golden Freddy statue. Tears were making his vision blurry, as Gregory looked behind him and saw the skipping rabbit lady coming for him. Oh no, this was it, this was how he would die.
"Aww, are you hurt little guy? ~" The woman asked him mockingly, as she twirled the large knife in her hand, as Gregory could particular see that twisted smile in her face behind her mask, "Don't you worry. You'll be feeling A LOT more pain soon enough, so just let Vanny make it all better. No one's going to miss you anyway."
The now named Vanny giggled sadistically as she looked down at the scared child in front of her. Oh, how she loved to see the expression of fear and hopelessness on her victims faces. After all the trouble this brat put her through, she was going to-wait. Gregory looked past her and smiled? Wait, why was he-
CLAP
"I don't think so, Bugs Bunny."
Surprised, Vanny turned her head-
WACK
Only to feel herself go spinning, as something large and heavy decked her in the face with enough force to send her reeling away a good couple of feet. Feeling her vision swimming, Vanny had to readjust her mask, as it was knocked out of place but thankfully stayed on her head. No need for Vanessa to have a sudden come back.
Looking at who dared hit her, Vanny felt her blood freeze as she stared at a walking, talking corpse.
"What's wrong Bugs Bunny?" The walking corpse said with a mocking smile on his face, "You look like you've seen a ghost."
"How?" Vanny demanded, gripping her large knife tightly, "How are you alive?! I sliced your throat open!"
"You did and honestly, all you did was stain my favorite hoodie or maybe that was just me." Gregory wasn't so sure; all he knew for certain was that he was happy Xero was still very much alive. Albeit he looked a hell of a lot different. For one, he had gained four maybe five inches in height, his skin had gotten paler and maybe it was a trick of the light, but it almost looked a bit gray but most of all, his face had changed. His eyes, once a bright, purple color had changed to a hellish yellow/gold with pinpricks replacing his round pupils and the fact it actually glowed a lot brighter than his purple eyes, really caught Gregory's eyes.
Along with the viable veins growing across his face and VERY, very sharp looking teeth that looked like they could bite through steel, only made him much scarier to look at.
"K-kill him. Kill him now!"
Vanny must have thought so too, as several STAFF bots, with glowing white eyes sped towards Xero, with intent on ripping him apart. These STAFF bots weren't the run in the mill STAFF bots either, they were significantly different from their normal, public peers. With a new rusty texture, glowing white eyes, and creepy smile drawn on their blank faces. They also have black tear streaks.
Much like a certain puppet.
Sadly, for them (And Vanny) the Magus had other plans, when the first bot got close enough, Xero grabbed its arms and then ripped it out of its socket, then proceed to use that same arm to send its head flying with enough force to embedded it within the nearby wall.
But he wasn't done there, using that same arm as his new weapon and with his enhanced strength, used it as a bat to start whacking off STAFF bots' heads like they were baseballs. After tearing the seventh head off, his import weapon broken in half, leaving Xero with nothing but his fists. One attempted to rip into his stomach, only to get its head knocked back for its attempt, as he grabbed at its exposed wires, tearing them right off the rusty body, causing the robotic being short circuit with oil staining the floors.
Twisting his body, escaping three attempting to box him in, Xero moved to his next victim, sending a fist through its chest, causing oil to splatter on his body and face.
Like blood.
Using this, he grabbed onto its shoulder and used it as a sort of battering ram against the other bots. With his free arm, he raised it up in the air and smashed the STAFF bot's head so hard, it's head not only caved in but went down to hard its upper body collapsed in on itself. Like a turtle head disappearing into its shell but it was not meant to do so. Smashing into two bots, once he twisted around in a display of strength and then, pulling his arm out of the body, he sent a kick towards the remaining nightmarish bot with enough force to launch it into its remaining fellows with shrieking tires, leaving skid marks on the ground.
All in all, the so-called battle or really a one-sided slaughter in Gregory's eyes, reminded him of those movies where the hero gets surrounded by bad guys and tears through them like paper.
It was both awesome to witness and more than a little intimidating to watch. The fact his entire body was now stained with oil, some dripping down his face with those twisted golden eyes reminded Gregory of those movies.
No, not the hero that would ultimately save the day but the monster, that no one could stop.
"Y-you are not human." But he clearly wasn't the only one to think that, as the scary bunny lady (VANNY) backed away from the now golden eyed, oil-stained Xero, "You are-"
"Death." Gregory's protector said in that demonic tone of voice, not sounding completely human but for some reason, he didn't feel as scared as he probably should have been, even after watching the bot slaughter. Most likely because in the short time Gregory had known Xero, he felt like he could trust the older man and now that he was scarring the bunny lady away, the younger boy felt more than vindicated that he made the right choice in trusting him. "And i don't mean it metaphorically or rhetorically or poetically or theoretically or any other fancy way of saying it. I'M DEATH. STRAIGHT UP! And I've come for you and your precious master, Vanny the Bunny Killer. The time has come for you to pay for all the innocent lives you've taken and there will be no more deaths tonight...save for you and HIM." Now truly terrified beyond belief, the costumed woman abandoned all semblance of pride and childish notions, as she dropped the knife and ran like the devil himself was hot on her heels, flaring her arms around like a scared child. Xero, however just smirked at this, "Go on run for it, makes it more fun for me." Xero waited for the woman to vanish behind the long corridor, before he dropped his "Reaper Persona" and with a sigh, stopped pumping Yoki throughout his body, causing his eyes to return to their normal purple and his teeth to return to normal. His skin went back to it's normal pale and his body shrunk back to his original 6'1 rather than 6'7. Turning his head to look at the boy, he spoke, "Gregory, you oka-"
THUD
Only to stop as the young boy gripped his leg, burying his face in it, as his body shook from both relief and happiness at seeing very much alive and not dead because of him, "I-i thought you died." He whispered, as one can particular see the tears coming from his eyes, "I thought, i thought-"
"That you got me killed, because i tried to help you and the one who wishes to kill you, tried to kill me to get to you?" Xero answered rightfully, as he nudges Gregory to let go, so he could drop to one knee and hug the poor boy more, allowing the brown-haired kid to bury his head in his shoulder, now openly crying into said shoulder.
After a few moments of crying, Gregory pulled back from Xero, still sniffing as he asked with small hiccups in his voice, "H-how did you survive?" As he asked this, his hand hesitantly went up to the older man's throat, the part viable under his black collar to feel for any kind of wound. But all he touched was taut skin with no slices or cuts anywhere to be seen.
"That, kiddo is a long story and, sniff, sniff." Xero wrinkled his nose, as he looked down at Gregory's small form, "Damn you stink. When was the last time you took a shower or," The older man eyed the younger boy's wrinkled, cut and dirty clothes, "had worn fresh clothes for that matter?"
"Ah, well it's kind of hard to be clean and wear fresh clothes when you're homeless." Gregory spoke, both embarrassed at his own smelliness and bitterness as to why he was in such a state, making Xero frown and sigh at the unintentional reminder.
"Okay, yeah sorry, that's fair." Shaking his head, Xero picked up Gregory, getting a surprised "Yelp" from the boy, as he threw his arms around Xero's neck, "With that bunny woman now thoroughly scared shitless, I'm certain we have enough time to grab you some new clothes and a shower before she sends her minions after us. At the very least if one good thing that will come out of this night for you, is the chance for some normalcy."
"That, that sounds good, but won't those robots find us, and shouldn't we keep moving?"
"Normally you'd be right but not to worry, I've come prepared. I made sure to study this place top to bottom. Well, i read what i was able to find and while i have no doubt that there are secret entrances hidden here, it should be noted that this place does have a locker room. One with showers and it has no cameras in it, so we should be safe for a little while, an hour at best. At least from the STAFF bots at least."
"But not Freddy's friends."
"Unfortunately, you are right." Xero sighed, as he hoisted Gregory up, before making a beamline towards the clothing store, "But let's cross that bridge when we get to it. Right now, let's just focus on getting you out of those old clothing, get you a nice hot shower with new, fresh clothing for you to wear and maybe even get you something to eat before we go back to running for our lives."
Yeah, that sounded really good to the boy.
"Man, you really stink." Gregory shot Xero an offended look, as he playfully waved his hand in front of his face, as if to dispel a bad smell, while blanacing the boy with his other hand, "Phew!"
Jerk.
With Vanny
Vanny couldn't help but let out a small sob. From either pain, fear or humlation, she couldn't tell, all she knew for certain was that her face hurt, her pride was bruised and she wanted that fucking meddler dead.
Dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead deaD, deAD, dEAD, DEADDEADEADDEADEADDEADEADDEADDEADDEADEADEADEADEADEADEADDEAD
SHE WANTED HIM FUCKING DEAD!
DEADER THEN A DOORNAIL!
DEADER THEN A STONEWALL!
DEADER THEN HER DEAR MASTER AND SHE WANTED TO MOUNT HIS STUPID, PRETTY FACE ON HER FUCKING WALL!
With a growl, Vanny grabbed her personalized Freddy button command key and used it to speak to the rest of the robots in the entire Pizza-Plex, save for Freddy.
"To all STAFF bots and animatronics, i give you this direct order...TO KILL THE MEDDLER XERO MAZOKU AND BRING ME HIS HEAD! AND CAPTURE THAT LITTLE BRAT WHILE YOU'RE AT IT! DO NOT LET THEM ESCAPE THIS BUILDING! YOU WILL BRING ME WHAT I WANT AND IF YOU FAIL ME, YOU WILL, ALL OF YOU, WILL BBBBRRRRRUUUUUNNNNNN!"
Done.
So starting off pretty strong, getting the Fazwatchs, chased by the robots are cannon but Vanny ambushing Xero, trying to kill him and capture Gregory herself is most certainly NOT cannon.
And yes, i shameless used Death's best quote from "Puss In Boots, The Last Wish" when he revealed his true nature in the Cave Of Lost Souls. It is a perfect line that will be remembered and be beloved for generations to come.
And for the love of all things good and holy, can someone tell me what Freddy meant by "You are broken" like, seriously, it's obvious Gregory is not the crying child. That was made very clear in the Character book, clearly saying the two completely different. Seriously, nobody, can anyone tell me what the hell this means?
Well if not, then whatever, as i'll just wait for someone else to figure it out, as i'm not smart enough to do so. Until then, enjoy this nice little preview of what's to come, this one is nearing the end of my version of Security Breach.
Preview: The Devil Of Freddy's Fazbear
"Wait, just wait!" Vanessa yelled out, trying to stop the MRD, The BSAA, Chaldea, Brotherhood, X-Men, the agents of SHEILD and who the fuck knew else was in this massive battle royal, from opening fire on each other.
And getting her, the Glamrocks and Gregory caught in the crossfire.
"Listen, something is down there, under the Roxy Raceway and Xero is trying to stop it. Something pure evil." Vanessa said, trying to keep the desperation out of her voice but was failing, badly, "He needs help, if you hurry, you can-"
BOOM
Something exploded behind her, sending her tumbling and left her ears ringing. By the time Vanessa was able to regain her sense and see clearly past the dust, she looked up and saw something that made her blood run cold. The Pizza-Plex, already ready to curmble under the weight of everything happening on the worst/best day of her life.
Out of the crumbling Pizza Plex, she saw the one who had finally freed her from that monster's control, with several tendril-like wires struck through his body, like a pin cushion, with Xero desperately holding one back from piercing his heart after his body was crashed into the concrete ground creating a good sized crater upon landing, as a blacken figure of metal and wires emerged from the Pizza-Plex, bellowing out a mighty roar.
"RRRROOOOAAAAARRRRRR"
Phew.
This doesn't look good. Want to find out more? Keep reading to see what happens!
Devil out!
