Hello once again my ever lovely and ever loyal peeps and peeplips!
So, between Resident evil 4 and the remake, i have to say, they did the remake fucking RIGHT!
THIS!
THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A REMAKE!
YOU POLISH IT UP, STICK TO THE STORY, ENHANCE THE SCARE FACTOR WITHOUT TAKING OUT THE ELEMENTS OF THE GAME THAT MAKE IT SO BELOVED IN THE FIRST PLACE AND ADD SOME NEW OPITIONS THAT WOULD BASICALLY MAKE YOU OP BACK WHEN THE FIRST VERSION CAME OUT!
Okay, rant over.
So going to be a bit more world building and how much the duo have affected the world around them with their actions and events of Resident evil. Not much to say, other than more will be revealed of what's going on at the Mega Pizza-Plex so as always, i own nothing.
So please read, review and "What the fuc-BOOM"
Chapter 5: Run, Run, Run Too Parts And Services
1:00 AM Washington DC, White House, West Wing, Cabinet Room
"Mr. President, i know you have your reasons but stopping the MRD from apprehending this...creature, is one of the worst mistakes you could ever make."
President Ellis Graham felt a headache start to pound at his forehead as he stared down at the form of Senator Robert Kelly and the head of the MRD, Colonel John Moss. Robert was a tall man, standing at 6'0 foot tall, wearing a standard blue suit, with a lean built, not overly muscular but not skinny either with short brown hair with gray appearing around his lower layers of hair. A sign of stress perhaps? He also wore glasses that seemed to highlight the stress lines on the other man's face but overall, he still had an approachable face.
Colonel Moss on the other hand, was a very intimidating man to behold and anything but approachable. With a darker skin tone, tanned brown, a muscular built that could only come from a hard life as a soldier, dark brown eyes, bald and three claw like scars on his face with a small mustache. He wore an MRD outfit consisting of a dark green suit, with black shoulder pads, a golden badge on his right breast pocket that read "MRD" and black combat boots. Not to mention he was much bigger than Kelly, it certainly made even the Ellis look small, especially with their two other guests backing the duo.
The man behind the tech of the MRD, a weapons tycoon and the CEO of Trask Industries, Bolivar Trask. Unlike the first two, Trask was a whirly thin man with short brown hair, eyes and had a neatly trimmed brown goatee with half cut glasses. He wore a white lab coat and underneath that was a dark blue jumpsuit that covered his entire body from his neck, all the way down to his black boots.
The fourth member of this little group was Dr. Sybil Zane, a supporter of Senator Kelly's anti-mutant mission, a brilliant woman in her own right and partner of Trask in making weapons against mutants. Sybil is a beautiful woman, with long dark brown hair tied up in a ponytail, tanned skin, wearing yellow glasses and an entirely white suit showing a hint of cleavage and heels.
There were five more people in the room with one of them siding with Robert and the MRD stance, the Secretary of Defense, Ryan Wilson. He was an elderly looking man with thinning, graying short hair, wearing blocky brown glasses and wore a sharp business-like suit with a red tie. Even if he was an elder of a man, he still stood a proud 5'11 foot tall and harden features, proof of his long career as a military general turn Secretary of Defense for his country.
A chuckle was heard, making Kelly turn to see, in the far corner of the office was the right hand of the president himself, Leon S. Kenndy, as he smiled grimly back against the wall with one leg on it and arms crossed, "Yeah right. The only mistake being made here, is thinking you and your little dolls have a snowballs chance in hell at beating Xero. Between you and me, i wouldn't bet my money on you, even if you sent a hundred soldiers after him. Hell, i wouldn't put my money on you, even if you sent a thousand in, it'll just takes longer for Xero work his way through them." Leon is an American of Italian with a slender but well built, sharp blue eyes, fair skin and had short blonde hair that went to his ears. He wore a sharp black tuxedo suit with a black tie with his trusty combat knife strapped to his belt and his signature pistol, The Sliver Ghost in its hostler under his armpit.
Alongside him were three of the President's personal guard for this meeting, the first being the rookie of the four was Patrick Adams. Patrick is a young man with short, messy black hair, fair skin, brown eyes and a slender built, wearing a black suit. Like his fellows, he was tall, standing at a 5'10 foot tall.
The next was the only female of the group is Shen-Mei, otherwise known as Shen-May a Chinese American federal agent. Like her fellow agents, she wore a sharp business suit with her long, black haired tied in a ponytail that reached down her back with black eyes and fair skin.
The final member was the man known as "The Hero of Penamstan" Jason Blackstone, once the leader of the US Mad Dogs unit turned federal agent. Like Colonel Moss, Jason was a large man with a strong built, with a black suit that strained against his body. His short, thinning blonde hair and five o'clock shadow with his harden eyes told everyone who looked at him, the horrors he had suffered in the war.
"Why you!" The colonel glared at Leon, making a threating move towards the agent, only to find the barrel of his pistol aimed at him. Poised and ready, to pull the trigger.
"Your move scar-face."
"Leon, put it down please. There is no reason to deprive the MRD of their leader over something like pride." Ellis said gently, making the blonde do so, but he still had his smug smirk on his face at the fuming MRD leader. The president turned to the remaining three, "It's just as Leon said; No matter what you think, Mr. Mazoku helped Leon not only save my daughter but had a hand in curing both her and Leon of the Plaga infecting them. He had no reason to do so, other than he could and in all that time has not proven himself to our nation in any form. Not only that but do any of you have any definitive proof that he is not only dangerous but a mutant?"
"Proof or not Mr. President, some of the things he was capable of were simply beyond human." Kelly answered without actually answering as he pulled out a picture of Xero entering the Mega Pizza Plex, "This was taken by a security camera from across the street of a gas station at 10:00 PM yesterday. As i'm sure you're well aware of the recent string of disappearances around the Mega Pizza-Plex sir. He might know something or even be involved in the disappearances."
"That's a serious accusation senator." Jason said, eyes narrowed at the man.
"Or maybe, he's investigating them and is looking to stop them personal, instead of sending goons who'd get it wrong, he's doing it himself." Leon cut in, smirking at the glaring senator, knowing full well he couldn't touch the Kennedy, sending a nod to Jason who nodded back. The older man might be a senator with powerful friends, but Leon was a highly trained agent, who only answered to the president himself.
Leon had survived Raccoon city on his first day as a police officer, faced down entire hordes of zombies, the damn near suicidal training he had to endure after surviving Raccoon city, soldiers, ex-friends turned traitors, Mr. X, BOW's, terrorists, undead freaks, mutated monsters, chainsaw wielding maniace's (So many chainsaw maniace's, Shiver) survived the Las Plagas parasite and just about every possible nightmare fuel that could exist. So, comparing all that, everything he had faced down, Mr. Kelly's anger didn't even register to him as a danger.
"Even if he was, why would he be doing that?" Sybil asked with a raised eyebrow, "Not only is this in the US, but it's also not exactly as BSAA or Chaldea problem, let alone a UN problem altogether."
"That and we have no idea what his true intentions are." Wilson said, "Seeing as the number of towns he and Chaldea has wiped out, it's clear he nor Chaldea can be trusted. That's not even mentioning the fact Chaldea has knowingly recruited a fugitive from the US military, Bruce Banner to work for him. A man that has single handily cost our military over two million dollars' worth in damage of equipment, vehicles, weapons and troops. General Ross has done everything in his power to bring that monster in to make him face justice but not only does Chaldea deny us justice, they have assaulted military forces in defense of him. They cannot be trusted."
"And how exactly do you know that?" Leon asked with an eyebrow raised dangerously. Chaldea, Banner working for them and the BSAA weren't common knowledge, let alone what they did to keep the peace. He's been in some of those towns that were wiped out and unlike Raccoon city, they had nothing but pure death everywhere. Hell, Xero had saved his ass more than once, when he didn't have too but that was beside the point. The only ones who should know are the world leaders, who have to content with bioterrorism and know who to call in order to combat it.
"It's alright Leon." Ellis however, cut in waving off his concerns, "Due to the effects the T-virus and other creations of the virus has on mutants, the UN had requested some of the MRD's weaponry to battle the more... dangerous variant of the undead." It was not a decision made lightly and even then, the MRD had been given the bare minimal of information, "Or at least they did, before the BSAA made an alliance with Chaldea." That brought a grumble from Trask, who no doubt was remembering losing the contract with the BSAA in making weapons and a lot of funding went with them over to Chaldea.
Which also meant a lot of funding for the MRD was also cut as a result, promoting Kelly to find everything he could on this Chaldea place. The fact Chaldea produced better weapons, ones that could barely qualified as legal by the UN and only meant to be used against the undead, had done nothing more than pique his interest.
That and the rare footages of people using what could only be described as inhuman powers and feats like throwing around lighting, fire, one quiet literally kicking tanks back with just one kick had worried him personally. All this told him that the members of Chaldea weren't human.
If they weren't humans, then they were clearly mutants to be left unchecked, let alone unregistered.
Very, VERY dangerous mutants. The kind the MRD needed to lock up or be dealt with before they used those powers on the rest of humanity.
"But back to the matter at hand, in the two years Mr. Banner has been employed at Chaldea, siting and attacks of the Hulk have dropped down to zero." President Ellis said diplomatically, "Two years of silence with no one hurt, soldier or otherwise. Regardless of general Ross says, i have my own suspicious of what truly happened to create the Hulk. I am not blind nor am i foolish gentlemen." Ellis's eyes harden, making Wilson wince a little at his words implying the president was an idiot.
Even if it was unknowingly.
"S-sir, i didn't mean-"
"Whether you meant it or not, i am not fool Wilson." Ellis said firmly, "I understand how dangerous the Hulk can be, how much destruction he can cause but before the monster, there was the man. A very brilliant, smart man, who's been putting that brilliant mind to work in finding a cure for all forms of the T-Virus, the Las Plagas and every other viral infection out there. What general Ross fails to realize is that we don't need more weapons or troops out there defending our home. We need people developing vaccines. Anti-bodies, cures of all kinds to prevent atrocious like Raccoon city from happening every again. THOSE gentlemen and lady are what we are sourly lacking in today's age. If one man can help do all that, while staying out of trouble then i believe he is far more useful outside of a cell or lab. After all, we make deals with criminals all the time for the sake of the greater good, why is this any different than those deals?"
Wilson had no answer to that, as he gritted his teeth, knowing his argument was well and truly shot to hell. But that didn't mean he wasn't willingly to admit defeat, "And the soldiers, OUR soldiers, Chaldea killed in cold blood?"
"Was this before or after they attempted to storm Xero's home, kidnap one of their employes and murder anyone who saw it?" Leon asked back, cutting Wilson's argument by the legs, "I do believe that is nothing more than self-defense by our own laws, as that so called operation was not sanctioned by official channels. If they had gotten permission, then maybe they wouldn't have had to die a needless, pointless death as they did because of one person greed and stupidity."
"There you have it." The president nodded in agreement, "Like it or not, there is a reason why Rebecca Chambers was relocated to Chaldea. Like Mr. Banner, Ms. Chambers has a unique and brilliant mind that if given the chance, can find a cure for not just the bioterrorism but many other diseases that have plagued humanity for centuries now. But you can't really expect those who use BOW's to just stand by and allow that to happen, do you? Ms. Chambers being relocated to Chaldea was just as much for her own protection as it was being able to work in peace. Soldiers can be replaced Wilson, people like Mr. Banner and Ms. Chambers, cannot be. Not as exceptional as those two and it would be a massive blow to us in the long run."
"All that aside Mr. President, it still doesn't explain why they know about Chaldea." Shen-May said, "The only reason we know as much as we do, is because Leon worked closely with their two agents to save Ashely from that Cult. I can understand that to a certain degree, but how do they know about Dr. Banner working for them?"
"Even then, after becoming allies and friends, they remained pretty cagey about their work." Leon supplied, "Not because they didn't trust me but simply because the nature of their work is very sensitive. The kind of stuff that would get people killed if it fell into the wrong hands." Like exposing the magical world to the rest of humanity.
The sheer power those two wielded made Leon thank every god possible that they were on his side and after becoming genuine friends with the duo, Leon promised not to breath a word of them, their magic or the magical world in general.
For very good reason.
Especially with people like the ones in front of him and that general Ross guy running around with too much power and willingly to do less than nice things to people with unique abilities.
"That still doesn't change the fact Mazoku is possible running an unsanctioned operation on US soil, even if it is just investigating the disappearance of a few kinds." Moss said in an uncaring tone, changing the subject and back to the matter at hand, making many eyes glare at him for his uncaring attitude of several missing (Very possible dead) children, "That alone is enough to get a warrant for his arrest or at the very least, allow the MRD to go 'check' to make sure he is as innocent as you claim him to be. If he is behind the murders, then we will arrest him, UN protection or not and if he isn't, then we'll help him, even if he is an unregistered mutant freak."
Either way, the MRD will get a chance to fight and capture Xero.
President Ellis knew it, Leon knew it and the rest of the agents knew it, as he sighed, "Very well then Colonel Moss, you may investigate the Mega-Pizza Plex but ONLY after its doors open. Not a second more." The large man nodded but before he could leave, the president then order, "Take Leon with you." At the glare he got, Ellis ignored it as he spoke, "Not only has the disappearances of several children been sighted in the arena, the BSAA have reason to believe it might be connected to an ongoing trafficking ring meant to use these missing children as guinea pigs for a new type of T-virus. They have asked me to allow them to sanction operation to find out if it's true. Why children, i cannot say for certain but I already approved the BSAA sending Chris Redfield and his Wolf Pack to do their own investigating of the Mega Pizza-Plex. If you want the MRD involved, fine but Mr. Redfield and his team takes point on it. We do NOT need an outbreak on US soil, let alone in a city like Detroit. The BSAA agents have the most experience in dealing with these undead monsters and the best chance at stopping any outbreak from happening, if there is one."
And to make sure those damn trigger-happy fingers members of the MRD didn't open fire without provocation.
The large man grumbled but said nothing, as he walked out with Leon falling in step behind him, his mind whirling around with all the possibilities of what could happen but one thing he was certain of, was this.
It would be good to see some old friends again.
Back in the Cabinet room, the secretary of Defense couldn't help but say, "This is a bad idea Mr. President." The older man stood up, "No matter what goodwill or debt you own him, Chaldea and it's agents are still unknown despite all the good they've done. They simply cannot be trusted."
"In case you forgot sir, those unknowns also helped save many lives during the Harvardville Airport incident." Jason spoke up in the young man defense, earning a glare his way, "Including Rani Chawla, a niece of a very powerful TerraSave bigwig with a lot of influence to boot. It's best you remember that, least you go making enemies out of the wrong people with lots of powerful friends."
All that did was earn another growl for his efforts and the SOD to stomp out of the room, leaving the president with the three agents alone.
Outside the hallway, Ryan had no intention of lying down for this. The president might have blocked him from doing something, that didn't mean other parties weren't able to interfere. All he had to do, was spread a little rumor around that the Chaldean agent would be and leave the rest to those who wanted him for questioning or otherwise.
That would at least force the man to reveal his true colors and remove whatever good will he built up with Ellis in the process. He meant what he said back there and seeing as the boy could present a threat to his own plans, whether be intentional or unintentional, he had to go. Discredit, locked up, cut yp in a lab somewhere, it didn't matter.
All Ryan Wilson knew, was that Xero Mazoku had to go before he screwed with his plans even more and if the normal way couldn't work, he had to go the dirtier route.
It was all for the benefit of his country of course.
But he knew he had to be discreet about it, so once he got outside the White House, he looked for a landline phone. Finding one, making sure nobody was around, he dials in the number and only had to wait two rings for it to be picked up, "Hello? Yes, it's me."
"..."
"No, i know it's late but you will want to hear this information."
"..."
"Yes, he'll be there but so will many others. If you play it right, you'll get what you want, and I'll have a thorn out of my side. This benefits us both. Just make sure this "
"..."
"Perfect and best of luck."
With that, he hung up and like the snake he was, Wilson slicked back into the darkness, so self-assured of his victory, unaware of the events he just sent into monition, blinded by his own ego and greed.
1:15 AM Mega Pizza-Plex Bath/Shower Rooms
Xero had been in many, many fights over the course of his admittedly, short life.
He had faced all manner of beings ranging from simple humans, mortals if you want to get all cynical to monsters, demons, celestial beings and even gods themselves. He naturally had a lot of help during those times and more often than not, didn't actually do any of the fighting himself.
But very rare few times had Xero faced such an opponent that was just plain odd.
No, not odd, twisted.
Something about this "Moondrop" animatronic was very, very twisted and not just because of the way he twisted himself around like the idea of twisting itself was going out of style. For a good fifteen minutes they've been 'fighting' that is, if you count fighting as akin to this fucker jumping all over the place, hanging from the walls, the ceiling, the light, anything he could get his claws on and when he lunched himself at Xero, he kept getting some nicks and cuts in for his efforts, forcing Xero to remain on the defense.
Many which were strategically and deliberately meant to not only caused maximum damage but maximum pain as well.
"He's trying to wear me down." Xero thought as he dodges another flying claw to the face aiming for his eyes and barely missing them, as Moon's other hand delivered a slash across his lower abdomen, getting some blood to flow before his wound healed up. It was a good plan and it fit perfectly for someone of Moon's stature.
Small and frail but quick and flexible.
In a straight up fight, Moon would lose instantly but he wasn't fighting a straight up fight. He was keeping himself mobile, keeping on the move and ensuring that he, Xero, could not land a solid blow on him, while he, Moon, was slicing him. Where's, any normal person would have probably toppled over by this point due to all the targeted weak spots on a human's body. Alone, the wounds would have been nothing more than a nick but all together, if Xero hadn't been able to heal, he would have slowly been bleeding out, getting more and more sluggish as this fight went on.
"I could chalk this up to his programming but why would an animatronic, one that was supposed to entertain kids, been programed to not only fight but have data to fight the best way possible with his small body? And why would he have a 'kill protocol' to begin with, if he was supposed to be a normal kids entertainer?" Because Moondrop wasn't just meant to entertain kids.
From his design, his purpose in the Pizza-Plex was clearly more than just to put kids to bed.
He was meant to kidnap them during the so called "Nap Time." Kids vanish all the time when their parents weren't watching and with so many in one place, it was nigh impossible to notice until it was far too late. Which means this thing was responsible for the disappearance and mostly the deaths, of many innocent kids. All their little lives snuffed out, because a madman refused to stay dead.
Which also meant that unlike the other robots in this place, Moondrop was knowingly working for Afton, which made him not only on Xero's enemy list but on his kill list, "Time to finish this." He thought darkly, raising his arms in front of his face, having gotten a pretty solid idea on Moon's fighting style and when he would be most vulnerable to an attack.
His chance came, when Moon went back to the ceiling, dropping down and aiming for his eyes once again, making Xero smirk.
Gotcha.
Using his Yoki, Xero blurred from sight, jumping up and body slamming into the shocked robot, knocking them both on the floor with the small animatronic pinned under the much larger human. He made sure to pin the robot beneath him, making sure his knee's crashed on his thin arms and his full weight on his stomach, making the abomination before him flare around in an attempt to buck him off to no avail.
He wasn't going anywhere.
"G-get off me Meddler!" The thing shrieked in anger, as it tried and failed to claw at his sides, "I will-"
"Put me to sleep forever yada, yada, i heard you the first time." Xero rolled his eyes before he smiles cruelly, as he plunged his hand into Moondrop's stomach, easily tearing through the first layer of metal and before his hand grabbed into something, "Hmm, now THIS feels important." With a hard yank, Xero ripped his hand out of the stomach, revealing it to be a small black box with the words "MAIN POWER BOX" written in black, on tape, tapped to the side of it, "Main power box, eh? My, my this DOES seem important, doesn't it?" He asked mockingly. It wasn't in his nature to be cruel to people, even if they were his enemies but baby killers?
Yeah, he'd make an exception for that, to make the baby killers feel the same pain they gave to their innocent victims.
"N-n-no. M-m-m-my power..." Then, like a puppet on strings, Moondrop voice cracked, as the red lights in his eyes dimmed and shut down, making him slump down on the ground, completely out of power.
"Well," Xero spoke to himself, as he got to his feet and brush himself off of dust, "that was anti-climactic." Wiping his hand together, Xero looked down, frowning as he did so. His clothing had certainly seen better days with several cuts all over, oil and blood stains had all but ruined his MIT hoodie and his pants were all but shredded to pieces. He was going to need to throw these away once this was all over. With that in mind, he checked the Fazwatch seeing it read 1:22 AM. So that left, what, over 4 hours and 38 minutes left before the doors would open. It may not have sounded like long but given how much can happen in less than five hours, it left Xero very worried for Gregory.
"Maybe i should-" Xero stopped himself from punching the call button on his Fazwatch. What if Gregory was hiding and his call have away his position. What if his messaging would get Gregory spotted or give the robots a place to look for the unexpected noise? Gregory was a smart boy and if he had been caught, he would have done something, anything to send him or Fred-Bear a message. It was just simply to risky to contact Gregory, least he accidently give away his hiding spot or basically send out a beacon on where he is. No, it was probably better if he just regrouped with Freddy, then looked for Greogory together. "Speaking of which." The Magus decide to contact Freddy instead, surely the old bear would have been done charging by now, right?
Suddenly, HE got a message from the robot bear, much to his surprise, "Hey, Fred-Bear, ya there?"
"X-Xero, X-Xe-ro, G-Greg-ory" Freddy's glitchy voice overcame his Fazwatch,"If you get this message, come to the Roxy Raceway entrance on the s-second floor. I-i piled up some boxes so you can hop over the construction fence and find me. S-something is j-jamming my communication single. C-come to the Roxy Raceway-" Then it abprutly cut off, making Xero look down in worry.
"Shit." Shaking his head, Xero made his way to the elevators, smashing the occasional security bot along the way. Stepping out of the bath/shower room, going through Rockstar way, he soon found himself in the Atrium via the elevator, the largest section of the Pizza-Plex.
"Woah..." Xero stared wide eyed at all the many attractions, flashing lights all around him. The entire room was a large dark purple room with blue accents. It has 3 floors and serves as the gateway to all the locations of the Pizzaplex. A neon star on top illuminates the whole place, along with other lights. The ground floor has many tables for the main dining area with a big stage that the Glamrock Animatronics perform on. Hmm, Xero idly remembered reading the blueprints for the Pizza-Plex, meaning he knew the stage also acts like a large elevator, with a button on the stage you can push to send it down to Parts and Service and the Endo Basement.
The Endo basement aside, Parts and Services could come in very handy.
The first floor contains logos for the various attractions. Frankly, these also lead to these respective attractions. These being Fazer Blast, Kid's Cove, Monty's Gator Golf, & Roxy Raceway. It also contains the party check-in booth. It also has the food courts for fried treats, drinks, burgers, pizza, ice cream, pasta, salads & sides.
That's where he needed to go, Freddy did say he was near the Roxy Raceway, so the first floor is where he needed to go.
The second floor was the lobbies to the aforementioned attractions in the first floor takes up 2 floors, with a hallway in the middle. There is also a shutter next to Kid's Cove which would lead to the Superstar Daycare. It also has the elevators to the Lobby Entrance, in front being a directory of the various attractions of the Pizzaplex with a save station which appears post-game if the Stay option is considered. There are also hallways to the Glamrock Beauty Salon, another Roxy Raceway entrance & Cupcake Shop.
"I'm going to have to head to the Daycare to get that security badge." As much as he would have liked to simply kick down all the steel doors, the sound alone would attract too much attention and would allow the more dangerous robots to follow them if they had to hide somewhere. The third floor was the simplest as it contained only the five newer attractions, save for one old one. These being Bonnie Bowl (The old one), Fazcade, Prize Counter, Superstar-cade, El Chip's, & Mazercise. It also contains the booth for the Showtime disk, "Which reminds me, if i want to access Parts and Services, i'm going to need the desk to active the lift." He had the forethought to make a copy of one but seeing as how his original all access card was debunked and denied, there was a good chance the disk would be denied as well.
Still, the place was massive and even to someone as big as him, the Mega Pizza-Plex certainly done it right when they added "Mega" into its name.
"You can't hide from me!"
And down on the ground floor, growling like the wolf she was modeled after, was Roxanne Wolf herself looking none to pleased. Along with various security bots and, oh goody, Chica and Monty too. Good thing they were on the ground floor and he was on the second first floor.
"Survival isn't about winning every battle, gathering the best resources, allies or even having the best equipment either." His mentor's words, Scathach's words, rang in his head, "Surviving is about choosing your battles wisely. After all, life isn't measured by how many times you stood up to fight. It's not winning battles that makes you happy, but it's how many times you turned away and chose to look into a better direction."
And right now, the battle he was faced with didn't look very ideal. Oh sure, he could probably come out on top in an all-out fight but why should he fight, when he can simply sneak away?
No, it was better if he sunk away, rather than waste his energy on a pointless fight, when he should be saving it for his REAL enemy.
Afton.
With that in mind, Xero made a beamline for the Roxy Raceway entrance on the first floor, using the Silent Step his Hassan's Assassin had taught him. Perfect for situations like this one. For once, he was thankful just how stupid Fazbear Entertaiment made the Security bots, as they wouldn't react to him, unless he was right up in their faces. Oh, they'd search for him but wouldn't sound the alarm unless they were up close and personal.
Bunch of dumbasses and very lazy programming, just another thing Fazbear's new employer's fail at:
Decent programming that will actually help.
Easily weaving his way through the security bots, Xero soon arrived at the Roxy Raceway entrance on the first floor. Most of it was still under construction or re-construction, as he found yet another duffle bag with shockingly enough, three post notes.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - Every day there's a new problem. We pour a new section of track and as soon as it dries, we start to see cracks. I am worried we are building over a sinkhole here. Before construction was approved, there was a site evaluation, right?
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - We keep getting these brown outs, so I got fed up and did a little investigation. It looks like something is drawing a massive amount of power from the worksite. We've traced a high voltage cable that disappears right into the foundation. There is definitely something under us. We're going to bore back into the foundation and find out what it is.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - Today, we broke through the foundation and found what looks like an old elevator shaft. Someone must have known about this, right? There's something down there pulling power. I'm taking a team down in the morning to check it out.
"Who the hell is making these choices to do this?" Xero wracked his big brain, trying to deceiver who would be willingly to go through all this trouble, set up this elaborate massive Pizza-Plex, over a SINKHOLE of all things, just to bring Afton back. One could easily write it to Afton being the one pulling the strings, Xero's gut told him otherwise.
Yes, Afton was behind the disappearances (And Murders) WHO was the one to bring him back? Who would have the means, the motive, the means and the RIGHTS to set this entire thing up. Copy Right was still a law and using one of the most famous kids entertainers that can throw down with Mickey Mouse of Disney himself, would be like setting of WW3. From what he had read up on Mr. Afton and having, err, borrowed Henery Emily's notes about his partnership with William was a good look into the twisted mind of William Afton.
Prideful. Narcissistic. Self-Centered. Cold.
But he was also determined, insightful, driven and ultimately a genius in every sense of the world. Both business wise and in robotics. The man knew what he wanted and had every intention of taking it with his own two hands. Selfish as well being a textbook narcissist, it was a wonder how Afton had a wife, let alone a family of three kids but his willingness to learn, to never stray from his goals, to go to any length he needed to achieve said goals made him a good businessman.
But it was after his youngest son, Evan, died did their partnership sour. It was barely two weeks after the boy died, his old friend was killed by Afton hands. Even if the police had no evidence to the contrary, Henry suspected his old partner had something to do with it. The only reason he knew for certain was because Afton tried to kill, which set into monition this entire thing.
But that was ultimately useless, as no matter how good Afton was, death came for everyone.
Eventually.
The question was WHO brought Afton from Hell or rather, who opened the path for him to escape Hell. But seeing as the number of friends and possible suscepts was already low to begin with before now, Xero had only two suscepts but couldn't be completely sure.
First, was this "Glitchtrap" persona that has is seemly pulling the strings from behind the scenes and the second, was none other than Amanda Afton aka Mrs. Afton.
The first one was shaky at best, seeing as the only way Xero saw him actually becoming real or coming into being, as the company scanning in the old circuit boards that survived the burning down of the old Pizzeria. It WAS possible Afton somehow implanted his consciousness into the old boards and once Fazbear Entertainment scanned them, indirectly scanned him in, creating a new form. But that had all kinds of holes in it and the kidnappings were just part of his plan to give himself a new body within the real world, even though surviving in the digital one might be far surpeior to a human body. Not to mention a hell of a lot harder to kill than a physical body.
Either he wasn't seeing some angle or maybe he was just reading too much into the situation. Either that or Afton was just that arrogant in thinking he was unstoppable but nevertheless, the second suscept actually made more sense to him.
A woman, who lost her family one by one over the years could certainly do a lot of pyschologial damage.
Two dying to her husband's machines, losing said husband into work and the other wracked with the guilt of indirectly getting his youngest brother killed via stuffing him in the Freddy's mouth, leading to the bite of 1983'.
No doubt, upon the final destruction, the final fire that destroyed everything in the original Freddy Fazbear restaurant, would mean everything left behind would go to her as next of kin.
Quite possible, including all of William's work and notes on the remnant.
It may seem like a stretch to think Mrs. Afton is responsible for all of this but when one thinks about it, it makes a tab bit too much sense. As said before. Mrs. Afton was someone who had lost her son and daughter to the machines her husband made, one killed by her eldest son and what does William do? He buries himself in his work in a twisted attempt to bring his son back from the dead, stumbling upon the Occult, discovering the remnant and tries to use both to bring not only Evan back but their daughter, Elizebeth as well.
But to do that, he needed more remnant, meaning he needed more kids.
More souls.
But then he messed with the wrong kid, got himself killed and within the spam of a decade, all the Freddy Fazbear places shut down with all the original owners dead, everything went to Amanda. Then, like William before her, Amanda looked at the notes and it sparked the flame of desperation and insanity within her.
She could do it, with all her husband's research notes, her own knowledge of robotics, and now ownership of Freddy's, she could make her family whole once again. Thus, setting the events that lead them to where they are now.
Naturally, it could have been a simple case of someone buying the rights to Freddy's after either A.) No one could find Mrs. Afton or she refused them or she is dead and B.) Someone got greedy. Either for money, for the 'immortality' Glitchtrap showed him or worse, Glitchtrap ensnared the CEO somehow to become his living puppet.
"I guess, it really doesn't matter." Xero ultimately thought as he made his way through the construction site and vaulted over the barriers, looking for Fred-Bear, "Whoever is doing this, there is a very good chance they are my enemy. Meaning i'll probably have to kill them as well." That how it always ended and honestly, the only good enemy was a dead one.
He wasn't going to give them the chance to come back to haunt in some delusional show of "Mercy" as an image of a brunt village with a charred body, completely blacken by flames flashed through his mind, making him shake his head with a growl.
Never again.
Pushing these thoughts out of his mind, Xero soon spotted an orange figure laying on the ground, next to a barrier and wooden stacks. It was Freddy and he looked banged up!
"Fred-Bear, what the hell happened?!" Xero all but yelled, as he knelt down by the large bear, as he slowly looked up, eyes flickering on and off. What the hell, shouldn't he have more than ample power now?
"T-there you a-a-are M-Mr. Mazoku. I-i have been t-trying to get down to P-P-Parts and Service. I-i think something is wrong, the R-Recharge S-S-Station, i-i do n-n-not have a full c-c-charge." Freddy said in a very glitchy voice, clearly doing everything he could to not shut down, using every scrape of reserve power he had left.
"Fuck." Xero shook his head, things just went from bad to worse, "Clearly this is Vanny's doing, no doubt trying to keep you out of the picture."
"Y-Yes, it s-s-seems so. P-Please help me g-g-get to Parts A-And Services."
"Yeah, i know where it is, directly below the main stage, right?"
"C-Correct. Use t-the door behind m-m-me. It will t-t-take you to the rehearsal room o-on the other side of the b-building. Look for a backstage p-p-pass and find a way to turn on t-the lift. I-I will be r-resting until then."
"Alright, just hold on Fred-Bear. The message you sent earlier, should have reached Gregory and he would have read it by now." Standing up, Xero adjusted his ripped hoodie, it wouldn't last much longer, "I'll look for the backstage pass. So, hold on, until then."
"B-but Mr. M-Mazoku, i-i did n-not contact y-you or G-Gregory."
Xero froze in his steps, looking around, like he was expecting someone to jump at him but found no-one. Finally, after a long minute of silence, he finally asked, "If it wasn't you who called me, then who did?"
1:55 AM, Lost And Found Room
"Ugh." Gregory woke up with a monster headache and dizzy, "Where am i?" Looking around, Gregory found himself in some kind of monitor room with a large computer system on an old desk with drinks on it, in the middle of the room with a blue rolling chair. Looking around, Gregory saw he was on a pile of old, wrinkled up clothing's, boxes, some plushies and posters with Freddy on it. The room had two doors, both red with blue lightning bolts on them with the number "4" at the top right corner of it.
All in all, it was a room he was very unfamiliar with.
Suddenly, Vanessa appeared on the computers, "I'll bet you think you're clever, Gregory. Yeah, I know your name. You're in big trouble! This is not the night to be wasting my time. So, you are going to wait right there in lost and found until your parents or the police arrive!"
Well, shit that wasn't good.
Suddenly the screen changed again to show, THE BUNNY LADY!
"ARE YOU HAVING FUN YET?"
Okay, that was really not good!
Beep-Beep
"Freddy? Xero is that you?" The boy asked hopefully but instead of getting voice of his Protector of the robotic bear, all it was, was a message.
"Go behind the desk on the left side of the room. There is a screwdriver there you can use to escape before Vanny can get you."
Go behind the desk? Screwdriver? Gregory typed in the message, "Who are you?"
"It does not matter. Now do as i say, you must hurry! She is coming!"
The message wasn't almost instant in returning, more demanding and knowing that the bunny lady was coming only spurred Gregory to find the tool. Shockingly enough, it was right where the Messager said it was, out of sight but well within reach. Grabbing the boy looked towards the sides of the room and sure enough, he found a vent.
Good, he had to make this quick!
With Vanny
Vanny felt a certain rush of giddiness, of thrill running through her veins as she slowly skipped her way to the "Lost And Found" room. She was tempted to like her "Lucky Knife", oh she was so close, it was finally happening. The day she had waited for was here, her master was ready to claim his new body and while the brat had broken free of their control, he couldn't run no longer.
Honestly it was nothing more than pure, dumb luck on Nessa's part she found him and even if her weaker half couldn't bring herself to bring poor Gregory back to their master, Vanny didn't care.
No, she was overjoyed!
That annoying brat was trapped in Lost and Found, like a prisoner awaiting his execution date, no doubt hyperventilating, crying to himself, wetting his pants in terror, all the images brought Vanny joy. Oh, she adored being a sadistic~ It was so much fun to deprive joy from another's suffering and what was the best kind of suffering?
The psychological kind~
Oh yeah it was wonderful, to see the delicious red blood running down her victims' bodies as she cut them up always made her feel oh so wonderful in all the right places, there was just something special about attacking her little bunnies psychologically. As much as she hated to admit at times, psychically wounds would heal a lot faster than mental ones and while she preferred to hurting them in a physical manner, attacking their minds was just as satisfying at times.
Sometimes, even better.
Liking her lips, Vanny made sure to take slow, measured steps that her footsteps could be heard, like the ringing of death tolls, telling her quarry she was coming. Hell, she went so far as to stop in front of the window to wave at her soon to be victim from the window, waving at him. She didn't see him, no doubt the little brat was hiding.
Which was pointless~
Grinning evilly under her mask, Vanny opened the door, entering the room and looking, searching for her quarry. Aaanndddd searched.
And searched.
And searched.
And kept searching, her movements becoming more frantic, as she looked all over the room. Where the fuck did that little brat- Vanny eyes zeroed in on the open vent grate on the floor, next to the computer console and it led out into the main entrance to the Mega Pizza-Plex.
...To the entrance.
Out of the Lost and Found room.
Out of her grasp.
As in the brat has escaped her grasp once more and more than likely back to that damn meddler.
And he would undoubtedly tell him what happened, meaning the meddler would more than likely stick closer than glue from now on. Plus Vanessa would be unable to fight him, as she couldn't fight him and how easily he torn apart her personal security like they were tissue paper and his insane healing factors, meant that the only ones who had a chance against him in a straight up fight would be the members of Freddy's band.
Meaning that if they avoided them, destroyed them or worse, actually FREE them from her and her master's control, there would be nothing to stop them from escaping at 6:00 AM.
With all this in mind, Vanny did the only thing she could do in such a situation she found herself in.
With Gregory
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Gregory nearly tripped over himself at hearing the loud yelling (Shrieking really) of the bunny lady, no doubt finding he had escaped and was understandable, not happy about it.
Not one bit.
Gregory thanked his lucky stars that his protector had already destroyed a good number of the security drones near the entrance, leaving the entire arena bar, save for those odd moving wet floor sign drones. Seriously, what the hell did they need those for? Wouldn't it be cheaper to simply put actual wet floors signs, than create robotic versions of them?
Or were they just that lazy?
Thanks to Xero destroying all the security bots, Gregory was able to reach the elevator no problem and catch his breath. Okay, all he had to do now was regroup with Xero, survive the next few hours, get out, get adopted, everything is gravy!
Checking his messages, he noticed the one from his mysterious helper, as he typed back, "Who are you? Why are you helping me?"
It took a few seconds for a message to be typed back, "Someone who does not wish to see Afton win in any shape of form. I was one of his first victims and so long as he exists in this world, so will i. Now, no more questions, head towards the Rehearsal room. I may not be able to fully reactive Mr. Mazoku's All Free Pass but you now have level two access. I will guide you to the room, listen to my directions and you will live to see the next sun rise, Gregory."
Don't trust them.
That was Gregory's first instinct but after this mysterious helper not only helped him escape Vanny but was willing to help him survive this twisted place until sunrise. As much of a bad idea this was, Gregory had very little choice. Freddy wasn't picking up and neither was Xero. The security lady must have messed with his Fazwatch or maybe the bunny lady did something to his Fazwatch. Maybe this mysterious helper was the one to seemly cut him off from his two protectors, leaving him with very little options. Gregory had survived a lot of things on the streets and one thing he had learned, if something was too good to be true, it probably was.
"But what choice do i have?"
Biting his lip, Gregory ultimately decides that he would do as this person asked. After all, they helped him escape the bunny lady, so they were clearly on his side.
Right?
Deep Within The Bowls Of The Mega Pizza-Plex
If he could, Glitchtrap, now Bruntrap, would have laughed at seeing Vanny's screaming in anger and fear.
What a fool.
She honestly believed he still wanted her after all this time. Oh sure, he played the role of the doting father, but she was just another pawn, a tool. Something he cultivated so he could create his TRUE Vanny. As irritating as it was, sooner or later Vanessa would take back control and purge Vanny from her mind. Oh sure, they had her cowed but try as they might, Vanessa was the DOMINATE mind of the two and eventually, the Vanny within Vanessa would be absorbed into the main mind.
Plus, with how wimpy, weak and morally righteous the blonde bitch was, those same morals would be carried over to Vanny even if they DID find a way for her to become the dominate mind. That same weakness would be carried over, weakening Vanny till her mind collapsed into a pile of very messy goo and something bruntrap did not want to deal with.
So, with that in mind, why not build a stronger, BETTER Vanny instead?
One that was completely loyal to him with a body that would never grow old and one that did not have the threat of an alter ego taking over at the worst possible moment? One that would fulfil all his desires and more.
It was a no brainer.
He had plenty of spare parts around for it and even after scrapping Glarmrock Bonnie to build this pitiful body of his, it was nothing more than just a host for him. Truth be told, getting that gator to destroy the new version of Bonnie was not his plan but cracking the animatronics' aggression within the personality chip was purely experimental.
He didn't expect the bot to actually go and wreck one of his beloved band mates, even if he was blinded by rage.
But in the end, it worked out, as Vanny/Vanessa were able to make him a suitable body for the time being that could take his new digital form, allowing him to work in peace on his brand new, True Body.
And no, he didn't mean Gregory.
Truth be told, he honestly couldn't care less about Gregory, not anymore. The boy was a useful pawn, but he had outlived his usefulness, now with that damn Mazoku brat here, he could enact his TRUE plan. The boy breaking free was expected, as he had finally emerged from his digital form into the real world, with his hacking ability intact but it cost him losing control over Gregory.
But it was just him, as his virus had spread throughout the entire Pizza-Plex but the Animatronics themselves, hence why Vanny had to install his little chip in their minds allowing him director control over them.
Speaking of Vanny...
The only reason Vanny retained control over Vanessa, was because Vanny was a separate entity unknowingly crafted by Vanessa herself. It was a case of a persona going quite literally rogue on Vanessa and with a bit of tweaking from his digital form, fully created Vanny. But the Vanny inside Vanessa was not his true daughter, not the one he wanted but she served her purpose.
He smiled (As best as this feeble body could) as he passed a recharging station, with the true form of Vanny held within. Unlike the Vanny running around the Pizza-Plex, this Vanny was completely metal, a female animatronic molded as basically a female version of Bonnie with Roxanne's body type and a white paint job, sharp claws, big, dark red eyes and a little blue bow to top it all off. Unlike the metal wolf, the spikes on her arms were more than just for show, as they were very sharp, very real.
Using his own hacking abilities and the data recorded of Vanny, he planned to download anything and everything regarding his relucent follower into his own personal, personality chip he had created for the true Vanny.
But that was just a bonus, oh yes, the real prize was deeper in this damnable, pathetic little trap his old friend set with his traitorous eldest son helping him. The fact he was using this old Pizzeria as his hideout deep within the bowls of the Mega Pizza-Plex, a place once meant to be the end of him, had become the place of his rebirth.
He couldn't think of a better way to say one final "screw you", to his dear old friend, business rival and rival once upon a time.
Walking into the main stage arena, where guests would arrive to enjoy their equally pathetic lives, was now completely devoid of all life. Everything, even the rats that tried to make this place their home, were used as biofuel for his new body.
In the middle of the old Pizzeria, were numerous runic words, symbols and circles drawn in pure white, all over the floor, interconnecting with one another, creating one giant circle pattern. In the middle of all that, was a massive form of an animatronic body. Its height was the same as Freddy's and Monty's with the same spiked arms warmers on its wrists, but it was a wolf animatronic body with a long snout, unlike Roxy. It's eyes were blood red like Vanny's with a deep sliver coloring its body, a tail and wore a black poncho draped over its shoulders. Like Monty, it had very sharp, deadly looking claws on the tips of the fingers with two sickles attached at the waist of the mechanical behemoth.
The most interesting thing about it, was the blue, diamond like gem in the center of his new creation with the lines of the runic symbols glowing a soft blue, as it slowly moved into the gem.
To top it all off, it had several wires installed in the back and off to the side of it, was a computer screen that read the following:
POWER: 29%
"SoOn." Burntrap grinned, that damn bitch had stolen his life, had used his own creation against him and then stuck him beyond a wall, leaving him to die like an animal. It was only fitting her son would be the one to help him reclaim his former glory and power. And whether that foolish boy believed it or not, cutting him from his magic had far more reaching consequences then he could have ever imaged.
After all, sealing the boy's magic off wasn't the only thing these seals were doing to him after all.
It was merely just the first step in his much larger, grander plan.
Time: 2:15 AM
3 HOURS, 45 MINUTES, UNTIL 6:00 AM
Done.
And hmmmm, sliver fur color, red eyes and with two sickles, now why does that sound familiar? Just know, the idea for Afton's new body was inspired by a certain movie and FNAF book, "The Twisted Ones".
But more importantly, who is this new ally of Xero and Gregory's?
A victim of Afton's doesn't really tell much, as he has A LOT of victims and yes, the idea of Mrs. Afton being the CEO aka the main bad guy, the one who set the motions of Security Breach was inspired by the end of Game Theories ultimate FNAF timeline. I have to say, the idea of Mrs. Afton being the new main villain behind the scene not only makes a lot of sense, but i personally like the idea. I suggest you go watch the full theory, it's great.
Anyway, now the MRD and Leon are making their way towards old Fred-Bear's mall. Jesus, at this rate, the entire world's military will be all over them. Want to see who else gets involved in this madness?
