Che-low once more my ever lovely and ever loyal peeps and peeplips!
Okay, first off, lets be honest, if there is a way, i will find it to make a chicken joke. Seriously, at one point in this story, i am going to find that perfect moment to make a dumb chicken joke, like, something along the lines of "Why did the Chica cross the road" or something like that. I don't know why i'm writing this but i felt like it and so, here it is.
If anyone is expecting a Chica joke to come, it's coming but it's got to come organically.
It's much better and much funnier that way, at least it is to me. Anyway, i won't say much more, other than i own nothing but my OC.
So please read, review and "What the fuc-BOOM"
Chapter 6: The Chip
2:10 AM, Atheneum Suite Hotel
"Hmmm, still no clear pattern, all the kids kidnapped don't have any connection to any of them nor do they have any connection to each other. Only that they went to Freddy's Mega Pizza-Plex and were never found again."
Inside a hotel, Claire Redfield looked over the colorful mass of information on her wall, with a map of the world on it. Pictures of the missing children, where they were from and lines all connecting them to one place,
Freddy Fazebear's Mega Pizza-Plex.
Claire is a pretty woman tall woman with long red hair tied to a ponytail and blue eyes. She wore a red tank top, black trousers, and black shoes. She sometimes wears her red eyeglasses and her brown watch.
As a child, Claire and her older brother Chris didn't have much money for anything. Barely scrapping by, but every once in a while, in a blue moon, Chris was able to scrap up enough money to take them to Freddy's Pizza Place, one of the OG locations for the popular brand. It was one of the few best memories Claire had as a child and while her childhood wasn't bad per-say, going to Freddy's always made her happy.
On a side note, her personal favorite was Chica.
It was hard to explain why but the always hungry chicken had a special place in Claire's heart and she wouldn't change it for anything. She was more than happy to see they had rebranded her from the OG band into the new Glamrock band at the new location.
But just like everything else, Freddy's had a dark side and that dark side, was the Missing Children's Incident that happened when she was fourteen years old. She really didn't understand much of it back then, all she did know was that it made Chris ever more protective of her growing up and when the two original locations burnt to the ground, everyone believed that would be the end of Freddy Fazbear.
The first two murders were high profile killings, as it was the son and daughter of the owners, which made many headlines.
And why wouldn't they? In a lot of ways, Freddy's was basically a bear themed version of Disneyland and while a lot smaller, it was no less popular. Personally, Claire liked Freddy's better than Disney and, in her mind, was better than Disney as a whole. But like everything else, Freddy's had a dark side in the form of the Missing Children's Incident that all but ruined the brand name.
For a place that was supposed to be 'magical' for both kids and adults alike, any kind of death would be scandalous to the brand and very bad PR.
But to have two kids, the owner's kids no less, die either because of the animatronics themselves or near the location would be one massive black eye to the brand as a whole and after many more deaths, the franchise shut its doors for good.
At least they did, until two years ago, when the new Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza-Plex opened up for business once again.
With some old friends returning, new ones taking the stage, it seemed the Freddy Fazbear name was able to clear off all the red it had in it's ledger...Until one year ago today, more children begin to go missing.
Like a broken record player, one year ago, the kidnapping and most likely deaths of many children with no connection whatsoever, begin anew.
It honestly made Claire wonder if the Fazbear name was legitimately cursed or something. Did the one who started the murders in the first place some sort of mythical curse on the name just out of spite, indifference or was the name Fazbear just simply unluck to be picked by this particular child killer for his hunting grounds of young victims. After all, hundreds of kids visited the restaurant for well over a decade and it wouldn't be uncommon for a child to go missing or runaway or even simply get lost.
But it all ended with the burning down and now, the Fazbear name has been resurrected bigger but not exactly better. After all, the murders are still happening and while Claire didn't think of herself as a pessimistic person, she was realistic.
You have to be if you want to be a survivor and if Claire was anything, it was a survivor.
Raccoon City taught her that harsh lesson.
But the question is this:
Who is now committing these murders and why? Why now, after years of silence and when the new Freddy's location has been opened for barely half a decade now? And why do they seem so fixated upon this particular bear branded Mall? There were plenty of other places to hunt kids, so why would the killer, if it was the same killer, return to the new location for Freddy's Fazbear Mega Pizza-Plex?
What the hell was the motive and reasoning behind it?
"Well, i guess that why i'm going to Freddy's after all this time." Claire wasn't a fighter, but that didn't mean she couldn't handle herself in a fight. Her older brother made sure of that, as she strapped on his pistol holsters, sliding her own custom made SLS 60 Handgun, "Time to cut this evil off at the source."
That source being Freddy Fazbear Mega Pizza-Plex and maybe, just maybe find the truth behind everything.
Hopefully Chris won't be too mad at her for this possible, reckless stunt.
And Xero too, seeing as he had told her to stay away, once they found solid evidence it was Afton up to his old tricks.
Elsewhere, 2:15, Above The Pacific Sea
"So, what are we expecting this time boss?"
Emil Blonsky silently checked his rifle's magazine, idly running his thumb over the sharp looking bullet as he slide the mag back into it's socket, clocking his assault rifle before speaking, to the members of the SOCC (Strategic Operations Command Center). He's been here since they first started hunting for the Hulk and even after being endowed with the remaining Super Soldier Surem, it still wasn't enough to defeat the green behemoth. That's the only reason why he stayed with this unit, to finally have his rematch with him but for now, he had to play ball. "Should be an easy one. While this mission may be 'official' meant to check out of there are in fact B. on America soil and if need be, help the BSAA destroy them. However, our real mission is to capture some high up agent from some no name organization known as Chalo or something like that." Emil was a tall, well-built man befitting of his stature of a former special ops with thinning blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes.
"Really?" One of the soldiers asked with a raised eyebrow, "Why?"
"Because apparently this guy is harboring a fugitive from the US army, which is why general Ross is also on route to apprehend the suspect. Our job is basically guarding detail and ensuring no one else gets in the way or the target gets away. The general himself will be coming to make sure everyone understands that fact. But discretion and anonymously will be our two best friends, as we need to get in and out without anyone seeing us."
"Eh?"
"Despite the threat he represents, many in the Pentagon are hesitant to go after him, so this mission is considered a Black Ops mission." As he spoke this, Emil's mind wonders back to the conversation he had barely two hours ago.
Flashback
"You called for me, sir?"
"Yes, thank you for coming in so late Blonsky, but this is of the highest priority." General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross was a well-aged, tall man with whiting short hair, mustache and wrinkles around his steel blue eyes wearing a standard four-star uniform.
"Well, you don't usually call SOCC unless Banner is involved sir." The British raised soldier said simply, cutting right to the point, making the general look at him for a second, before he grabbed a file and slide it over to Blonsky. Quirking an eyebrow, the younger man picked up the file, as the older man spoke.
"Known by a lot of names and mostly well known as The Grim Reaper, Xero Mazoku has been involved with several high value mission all across the world. Fighting not just humans but B.O.W's and matching them in physical combat, some of these B. were strong enough to tear tanks apart with their bare hands with ease. Thanks to our spies, we have been able to get a small rundown of his abilities, one of them being able to move so fast, it's basically invisible to the naked human eye, it would appear like he didn't move at all when in reality he simply moved too fast to be able to see. Not only that but Mazoku has proven he is capable of reattaching his limbs if they're cut off and if our sources are right, can actually regrow a lost limb, like a lizard after losing it's tail. Do you understand what the implications of this are, Blonsky?"
"That someone was able to recreate the Super Soldier Surem but made it better." For as great as Captain America was, even he couldn't pull off half of what these monsters of man could do.
"Yes." Ross put out the cigarette he was smoking as he looked at Emil, "Unfortunately, this also means that Mazoku is being protected by several other groups, including some organization called Chalo or something like that. A lot of people agree with me on how we should handle Mazoku but we don't have enough support to actually do anything official. The fact he help rescue President Ellis's daughter only enhanced the problem, as many of the joint chiefs of staff won't authorize a search and capture mission for this monster. Whether they realize it or not, many other eyes are on this monster and many will want his abilities for themselves, but we are not going to allow that to happen."
"And how does this tie into the Hulk sir?"
"Because Blonsky, not only does Mazoku's organization giving asylum to Banner but they've also given asylum to another fugitive, one from the CIA." Ross pushed a second file to the younger man, allowing him to pick it up. The contents made the soldier raise an eyebrow in surprise.
"Ristuka Fujimaru the Fire Angel? Sir, i thought she was just a myth?"
"So did we but seeing as she is connected to Mazoku, we can kill three birds with one stone." Ross looked directly at Emil, "Let me be very clear soldier, this is an off the books, black ops mission. Official, you and your team will be going to Freddy's Fazbear Mega-Pizza Plex to ensure there is no biohazard threat on American soil. Unofficial, it's a snatch and grab mission, DO NOT get caught or else i won't be able to help you. If you cannot capture the target quietly, then secure a sample of his blood, that should be more than enough for me to write up a proposal to official have him captured."
And then draw Banner out of his hidey hole. Blonsky nodded, saluting him.
"Yes sir."
Flashback End
Shaking his head, the soldier spoke to the rest of his team, "Be ready, we'll be there at Freddy Fazbear Mega-Pizza Plex just five minutes shy of six o'clock. This is a mission that cannot fail men, when we land, be ready to stanch the target and scatter."
"Yes, sir!"
2:27 AM, Rehearsal Room
"Xero!" Running to the taller man, Gregory hugged him in happiness and relief, as he looked up to his protector with a large smile, "Thank god your alive, i thought you be dead for sure."
The man in question simply snorted, patting his flexed arm with a smile, "Oh please, like I'd let some Smurf reject beat me." The boy had no idea what a Smurf was, but he was just happy Xero was alive.
Getting to the Rehearsal Room was uneventful for Gregory, thankfully.
The young boy followed his mysterious helper instructions and was able to avoid all the STAFF bots (And boy, where there A LOT of security bots) Freddy's friends and even the watchful eye of that evil bunny lady too. Unlike before, when she skipped around like a child on an easy stroll, Vanny was now searching for him like a mad woman, all pretexts of childish gone completely, all but tearing the place up in sheer rage.
It would have been funny seeing a fully grown woman basically throwing a world class temper tantrum, if the consequences of being found by her weren't so terrifying to think about.
"I almost gave myself away, when she trashed that poor security bot." Gregory had to stifle his giggles at remembering the childishness Vanny showed. Seriously, who was the child here, he the eight-year-old boy or the twenty-year-old something woman?
But then the woman had vanished, completely.
From all the camera's and even his mysterious 'ally' couldn't seem to find the bunny lady. That made the boy worried, thinking she would suddenly reappear somewhere, forgoing capturing him, intent on killing him then and there. After all, he'd seen plenty of people lose themselves to their rage and as young as Gregory was, he knew that anger tends to lead people doing things they'd regret later on. Months on the streets had taught the young boy that and he even he understood that keeping control of your anger, your emotions as a whole, can mean the difference between life and death.
"Alright, it's good to see you okay." Releasing Gregory, Xero stood up, "But now we have to get moving. Find that play disk in the backstage office then skedaddles out of here." The way he spoke, the urgency in his tone made Gregory worried.
"Xero, is something wrong?"
"...Just a gut feeling is all." Was all he said, as he begins to look around the large room and boy, was there a lot to look around. The Room has only meager lighting from dimming ceiling lamps and computer screens, the room is almost completely shrouded in shadow. The floor is a smooth gray and unfinished layers of paint are also present on the walls, as seen on the wall with the "backstage: staff only" sign. The duo made their way out of the room, cutting through Rockstar row, avoiding the remaining security bots, ascending the stairs and using the "Backstage Pass" Xero had found in the Rehearsal room earlier, the two entered the Backstage Room.
The Backstage Room itself was a large room, covered from one side to the other in computer monitors with large screens smack dab in the middle of the room itself with its own monitors and keyboards.
"Holy crap, it's huge!" Gregory said with wide eyes, as he looked around the room, "Where do we even begin to look-"
"Found it." Xero said, as he worked on the keyboards but after a few seconds, he frowned as he clicked away on the keyboard, "Sh-crap, i can turn on the lift controls but i can't remotely active them for the stage lift itself from here. Looks like we'll have to reactive the stage lift from the third floor on the Atrium. Hmmmm." Xero idly clicked on several security camera's, not seeing Vanny anywhere nor did he see any of the animatronics either. That bad feeling, he had earlier returned with a vengeance. Where was she and what was she up to?
Where was Freddy's bandmates for that matter? Sure, they've avoided the main three, but they give their sizes and weight, it was always easy to find them, so where the hell were they hiding now?
And why?
"Hey i found another security badge and, what's this? It looks, old" Gregory said with a chipper tone before turning to confusion as he looked at the colorful disk with the words "SHOW TIME".
BRRRIIIGGG
BRRRIIIGGG
BRRRIIIGGG
Suddenly, the alarm went off, making the duo look up in shock and horror, "Oh shit." Xero groaned, okay that was most certainly not good. Thankfully the steel doors shut closed, preventing any unwanted guests from entering the room but how long that would last was up in the air.
"Xero? What did you do? Something happened, I can communicate again! I think you fixed my signal! Thank you." Freddy suddenly popped up on his Fazwatch, making Xero look down at it's screen, "Odd, i can see Gregory is next to you, i can see his signal yet i am unable to contact him. How strange."
"Freddy, i'm here." Gregory said, appearing beside Xero's head, making the large mech-bear smile.
"That is great news superstar, you managed to find Mr. Mazoku."
"Yeah, that's great and all but how are you standing up, Fred-Bear?" Xero asked the most obvious question.
"Oh this, consider it a second wind."
...What?
"Oh no, Freddy, Xero i see Roxy and Monty on the cameras." Gregory's worried voice shot through Xero's disbelief, as he looked at his own Fazwatch and the screen in the room, "They're both coming to the office!"
"Do not let them in! The security doors are equipped with electrical deterrents. If you see them banging on the doors, hit the appropriate button. The shock should stun them."
"That's great and all, but unless you have a way out of here, we're as good as screwed." Xero didn't fancy his chances against TWO animatronics while trying to protect Gregory at the same time, "Those doors only have so much power and we can't stay here till six."
"Yeah, how do we get out of here?" Gregory added, looking to the cameras fearfully.
"Do you see the large vent in the floor? You are probably standing right on top of it. If I can reach the room under you, I should be able to force it open, and let you out."
"I see it!" Gregory said with a smile.
"Hmmm, all the doors appear to be on lock down, you-"
"Don't bother, i've got this." Xero interrupted Freddy, as he gently pushed Gregory away from the vent, as he cracked his neck and fingers, "Fred-Bear, you head to the lift, by the time we get this down, we'll want to get down that lift as soon as possible, so move that metal ass of yours. Don't want to waste time on waiting for you to lumber your way to it."
"Understood."
"Gregory, keep an eye on the camera's and doors, i'll get us out of here."
"But-"
"THERE YOU TWO ARE!" Gregory was cut off, as Vanny appeared on screen, her fat mask filling it up, "OH CAPTAIN, I FOUND YOUR TRATIORS."
Xero cut the video feed off, as he went to the Vent, gripping it with both of his hands and begin to pull, "Groan, Gregory, this thing's heavier than i thought! Keep an eye on the camera's, this will take a few seconds. Grrrrrr." Xero growled, as he attempted to pull the white vent off to no avail. He graoned again, even as loud "BANG, BANG" was heard from the easter door, making Gregory spirt towards it, slamming the Freddy-shaped button, causing blue electorty to surge through the metal door, gaining a loud "WAH" from the other side.
That was Monty.
BANG
BANG
BANG
That was Roxy on the other side of the room, banging on the doors, making Gregory run over to slam the button as well, causing the same reaction, only getting a loud "FUCK!" For her troubles. Xero, meanwhile, kept tugging and pulling on the vent cover making him growl out a "Come on, come on." as it refused to budge an inch from its spot. Veins grew on his face, as he kept trying and failing to make it move, as Gregory looked at the monitors, shaking with fear.
"They're going to get in... they're going to get us!" He whispered fearfully, tears starting to gather in his eyes, as his fear begin to cloud his mind. That was more than enough for Xero to have enough of this bullshit.
"No. Tug. They're. Tug. NOT! CCCCCCRRRRRREEEEEAAAAAAKKKKKK!" Cracks begin to form on the ground, as Xero begin to pump Yoki throughout his body, making his eyes become that same twisted gold that Gregory found comfort in, as his body begin to grow. Both in height and muscles, as the muscles in his arm expanded, while he grew taller with more veins becoming more viable across his body as his muscles grew in response to the Yoki, his ruined MIT sweater straining against his chest.
Gregory eyes widen at seeing his sudden transformation and before he could make any comment on it, the vent finally gives away, making a loud CREAK/SNAP with a display of pure strength, Xero was able to rip the vent out and lifting it over his head before he threw the entire thing out the window, shattering the glass as a result. With whatever concrete was left on it, it was sent flying off it, as the vent landed the ground floor with a loud BAM. His actions result in a large hole being made in the floor, big enough for anyone to jump down to the floor.
"Heh, that's coming out of someone's paycheck." Even if he was feeling anger course through his veins, he still had it in him to make puns. Casting a look at Gregory, Xero spoke, "Well, what are you waiting for? Come on and climb up my back, if they're not deaf, blind and dumb they'll surely know what I've done by now. We have to move. RIGHT NOW!" Shaking his head, the boy did as he was told and not a moment later, the doors busted open with Monty glaring at the pair from behind his stylish glasses.
"THERE YOU LITTLE FUCKERS ARE!"
"Later gator." With his snark said, Xero gripped Gregory's legs tighter and jumped down the newly made hole, before he sped away from the room, faster than the human eye could follow. Gregory barely had time to blink, let alone catch up with what was going on, as he moved faster than he ever has in his very short life.
The rush of the wind made by Xero's quick moves made his hair stand up on ends and nearly make his eyes water before it was over.
By the time he realized where they were, Xero had set him down and went to the music booth to set the play disk in. This made Gregory blink, as he looked around with wide eyes, wait, they were on the third floor of the atrium?! How the hell did his protector move that damn fast?!
"My blood, remember what i told you about my family line and history?"
Oh, did he say that out loud?
"Yes, you did and that too." Xero said, as he inserted the disk, causing a loud, funky music style beat to play as large holograms of the main band appeared on the stage lift.
"Wow..." Gregory stared at the huge holograms, before his mind caught up to what was happening and given the loud noises...he spun on Xero, glaring, "What the hell is that?! You just alerted every single guard in the Pizza-Plex to where we are!"
"Then, we'd best get moving, shouldn't we?" Xero said simply, as he hoisted Gregory up in his arms again and rather then go down the stairs, the older man went to the rails of the third floor and went wide eyed, as Xero JUMPED RIGHT OFF THE DAMN LEDGE! WHAT THE EVER-LIVING FUCK?!
Gregory screamed, as he clung to Xero tighter, as they descended down to the ground floor and with a loud THUD, landed on the ground, leaving behind a small crater from his fall. The older man grinned cheekily at the boy, "See that? That's how it's done. Any questions?"
"...you ass." The boy whispered, damn nearing pissing him out of fear, as Xero frowned at this, noticing his distress., as he looked down at his newest charge.
"Okay, maybe i shouldn't have done that without telling you but it was the quickest way down. Time's not on our side kiddo, so hold on tight." The boy said nothing but did as he was told, as Xero sped their way towards the stage lift. Sure enough, as they got there, Fred-Bear was right there, ready and waiting to go down to Parts & Services.
"Xero, Gregory, it is so good to see you alri-"
"Yes, yes, good to see us in one piece but we've got to get this train a-rolling boys." Xero said, sitting down Gregory, as he slammed the stage lift button, causing them to slowly descend down into the lower floors of the Pizza-Plex. It was painfully slow but thankful, thanks to his quick actions in speeding away, by the time anyone was able to reach the atrium, let alone the stage lift, it had already reached the bottom of the ground floor for P&S.
"This way." The giant robot bear slowly leads them through the long, orange-colored corridors.
But Gregory didn't pay all that much attention to them, not because he was a kid just being a kid but because his eyes caught something more interesting to look at him. His protector's bare torso, namely all the scars that littered his body. At some point his favored hoodie had either been completely torn to shreds or simply slipped off during his run with Gregory hanging on his back like a monkey, whatever the case, it was gone.
Completely.
Meaning that Gregory could clearly see the long, thin, painful looking scars on his protector's back that stretched across his back, even if his long hair had covered up a good portion of it. The brown-haired boy kept his mouth shut though, no matter how much he wanted to ask, he knew that kind of thing was rude to ask. In his time on the streets, Gregory had learned that a lot of homeless people who had scars, hated to be asked about them and it could turn ugly if asked out of the blue.
Thankfully, the boy didn't have much time to think on it, as the trio passed through a pair of orange double doors, revealing the guts of Parts & Serivces.
"We are here." Freddy said, waving his hand towards the large room. Parts & Serivces is a large room with a cylinder-shaped operating room in the center. Dread Unit explains that the cylinder is there to protect anyone outside of it in case if the animatronic being worked on goes haywire. Behind the cylinder are 4 doors with silhouettes of the glamrock animatronics on them leading to elevators to their corresponding rooms. Freddy moved towards the cylinder, as it opened automatically, "I have to enter this cylinder, so you may begin to repair me, Mr. Mazoku."
Wait, repair?!
"Clam down kiddo, I'm just going to make a few tweaks to Freddy, that's all." Xero said, patting Gregory's shoulder at his worried look. Then he pulled out the item he had stolen, er, 'borrowed' from Moondrop, "With this power box, we should hopefully be able to switch Freddy out of standby mood. Meaning he can last a lot longer than he originally did.
The door slides open, as Xero walked in with him, helping set him in the chair to begin the procedure, all the while Gregory watched from the sidelines with worry clear on his face. He did check the camera's, just to make sure a certain bunny killer didn't find them but found nothing.
"OH CAPTAIN, I FOUND YOUR TRATIORS."
What did Vanny mean by that? Did she mean pirate captain Foxy, the one he saw on the cut-outs and posters all over the place? Xero had heard and seen it too, yet he said nothing but was that a good thing? Was his protector trying not to worry him by not making any comment on it or was he like him, trying to figure out if and who this 'Captain' character was.
PSH
Gregory was brought out of his thoughts, as Xero re-existed the cylinder and begin to work on the old looking computer screen, as the computer's voice rang out for all to here, "WELCOME TO PARTS & SERVICES. PLEASE SELECT YOUR DESIRED PRODUCER." The screen lite up, showing for opitions ranging from the following:
Power Upgrade.
Claws Upgrade
Voice-BoxUpgrade
Ocular Upgrade
Well, he had the power box, so with that in mind, Xero selected "Power Upgrade" and was rewarded with this, "PLEASE ENTER THE PROTECTIVE CLYINDER TO CONTIUNE."
"Wait, seriously?" Gregory asked in shock at this, as Xero sighed, hitting his head against the walls of the cylinder, muttering to himself about 'stupid cheap ass morons', and 'idiotic planning'. Which Gregory agreed completely with, it was a stupid design flaw. Sighing, Xero did as it asked, and it spoke once again.
"IN CASE OF AN EMEGRACY THE PROTECTIVE CLYINDER WILL PROTECT IMPORTANT SERVIVE PERSONAL OUTSIDE THE PROTECTIVE CLYINDER. DEACTIVINNG ANIMEATROIC SAFETY PROTCOOLS NOW. IT IS RECOMMANDED THAT NO MISTAKES ARE MADE DURING THE PROEDUCE."
"...When i find the idiots, who thought this design was the best they could do, i am sooooooo going to strangle them." Xero thought with a dangerous eye twitch, as his head begin to throb like a headache was coming on, even when it wasn't. It was the sheer stupidity that was starting to drive him madder than the mad hatter.
With a growl, Xero started using the console, one that was nothing more than a fucking Simmon Says game, what the ever-living fuck? Ignoring the even wired design choices, Xero was able to crack Freddy's head open, so he could trade out his old power box with Moondrop's. However, while the machine did that, Xero spotted something in Freddy's skull, "What's this?" Getting closer to his head, Xero was able to make out a small thumb drive like chip with an ominous purple glow/fog around it with the word "V" written on the thumb drive.
Narrowing his eyes at it, Xero torn what was left of his hoodie from his pocket, wrapped it around his head and grabbed the thumb drive, noting how the ominous glow didn't seem like it was from some technological program but genuine magic of all things.
Just what the fuck did Vanny or worse, Afton do to acquire magic? Shouldn't have the Cruse of Ymir prevented any and all not natural born Magus from being unable to use magic without suffering serve consequences for it.
"Then again, Afton isn't exactly alive nor is he truly dead, so does that mean he's already suffering the sever consequences?" Xero had no idea, because he honestly had very little knowledge of Afton personally, aside from what his mother had told him before she died and even then, that was extremely limited at best, "Is this chip, thumb drive or whatever the reason why the rest of the Glamrock band is acting like loonies or is it exclusive to Freddy?" That was the big question, were the Glamrocks in control of themselves or was this chip the reason for their irrational and aggressive behavior. If that was the case, then his mission became a lot more difficult, as it wasn't just Vanessa he would have to save, it was the other three Glamrocks as well.
After all, denying Afton any type of victory, even if that meant just stripping him of his unwillingly servants was a victory for Xero and Charlie. Along with every other soul killed by Afton and Vanny's hands, "Not to mention, having more hands-on deck would better help protect Gregory and even Fred-Bear, as even with this new power box upgrade, he's still in 'safe mood' with reduced power. But who should we go for first?"
Chica.
No, it was best to go after Chica first as she is the smallest and easiest to capture of the three. He would have to tell Gregory and Freddy this, as he went back to work on playing this Simmon Says bullshit and after a series of repeating the pattern, the computer spoke again, "GREAT JOB. NOW, EXIST THE CLYINDER SO WE CAN FINISH UPGRADING FREDDY FOR THE BIG SHOW."
Yeah, the big show.
Walking out of the cylinder and typing on the computer some more, Freddy was finally finished and ready to go. With another loud PSH, the doors opened up and Freddy walked out, all smiles, "Thank you, Mr. Mazoku, i feel better than ever. Whatever you did to my head, i feel like a brand-new bear!"
"Because i removed this." Unwrapping the orange cloth, Xero deposited the strange chip onto the ground, allowing the duo to look at the odd-looking thumb drive on the floor.
"What is that? Gregory asked, very much confused at what he was looking at.
"I don't know but it's some kind of thumb drive that, if i had to take a guess, is the reason why Freddy's friends have been put into 'kill Xero and Gregory' mood." Xero said the last part in a slightly joking manner before getting serious again, "My theory is that our murder was unable to hack into the animatronics without alerting people to it, so she went a subtler route, implanting this chip directly into their minds, overriding their protocols without actually showing up on any routine maintenance. Like turning on a camera, setting it to record but not actually recording anything, basically becoming a ghost in the system. In fact, i think that's why Freddy is on our side, because he was put into Safe Mood, namely Reduced Power mood, the protocols this chip is supposed to send to Freddy's CPU weren't sent as it wasn't 'necessary power'."
"Huh?" Gregory titled his head, still very confused.
"What Mr. Mazoku is saying, is that whatever is not necessary for my CPU to run while in Safe Mood is not active." Freddy said, "In Safe Mood, i get the bare minimum of whatever is necessary to run me but that's it. No extra features or anything that is not needed for me to be online, will not active. But with this chip removed, i can be put back in 'Show Mood' without turning you, this is great!"
"Is it?" Gregory asked, uncertain as Xero nodded.
"Yes, this is good. This is very, very good indeed. With this knowledge, we can use P&S to not only strip Vanny more of her minions, but we can also save Freddy's bandmates as well. Which means we can give you more protectors Gregory." He smiled, but then frowned at Gregory's uneasy expression.
"I don't know." The young boy rubbed his shoulder, "They've been chasing us all night, trying to kill us and-"
"Gregory, do you trust me?" Xero knelt down, getting eye level with the boy, as he slowly nodded, "Then trust me, when i say that we CAN save Freddy's bandmates. We CAN do this and all i need you to do, is to trust me, okay kiddo?"
"...Okay."
Smiling, he patted Gregory's back, as he looked at Freddy, "Now then Fred-Bear, we-"
SLENCE
Xero didn't finish his sentence, as something dropped from the ceiling, slamming into Xero and the two figures tumbled away with Xero being thrown against the wall with a blade piercing his lower stomach. He coughed out blood, as he looked up into the golden eyes of Pirate Captain Foxy. Much like Freddy and Monty, Foxy was a large animatronic, standing at a proud 7'0 foot tall, with the standard 80's shoulder pads, covered by a black and gold pirate coat. Foxy still looked the same as he did back then, during the days of the old with red fur, one glaring golden eye with an eyepatch and a hook hand with a classic pirate sword in his other hand. But unlike Monty and Freddy, Foxy was slimer, rather then big and bulky like his other two bandmates, clearly meant for more mobility and agility rather than strength.
"XERO!" Gregory cried out in shock and horror, as blood stained the walls, he was pinned too. But that didn't stop Xero from growling and grabbing onto the robot fox's neck and pushing against his stomach with enough force to send the machine a few feet away. Once he was unpinned, Xero feel to the ground, clutching his wound and coughing up globs of blood. Shit, that damn fox-fucker almost hit a vital point, most likely trying to aim for it. Seeing Gregory run towards him, no doubt to help him, Xero waved him off.
"No! Don't you come near Gregory." Xero said, as he begins to pump Yoki throughout his body, healing his wound, "Freddy, take Gregory and run."
"But-"
"NOW!" Freddy looked agnst, but nodded, nevertheless, grabbing Gregory and hauled the boy away, much to his protest.
"NO! Freddy, please we can't leave him behind to face that thing! Please don-" Seeing the duo disappear into the elevator shaft, as Xero had to quickly duck under a hook aimed at his eye with a roll. Rolling away, Xero stopped in front of the entrance of the P&S, kneeling as he slowly stood up, as Foxy ripped his sword out of the ground, where he was at just seconds ago.
"Ya know Foxy, you were always my favorite." Xero said, as he slowly slipped into a fighting stance, as the pirate captain aimed his sword at him once again, "But i guess it's true what they say, don't met your heroes or else, they'll try to kill you." Okay, that wasn't how the saying went but whatever, "Let's go, you fox reject."
"Ar Matey, yar pay for your betrayal Matey."
Done and BOOM!
