Hello once again my ever lovely and ever loyal peeps and peeplips!
We're almost there, almost there everyone, as the end of the Arc is coming to a close and two to three chapters left. But by God, i have had just the worst day. First, it was hot and muggy today, with the blue Pepsi box ripping apart on me on the steps, then to add cherry on the top, the transmission in my big blue truck has COMPLETELY died.
Deader then a door nail and the worst thing, is i can't find another one anywhere.
Thankfully, we were able to tear into the belly of big blue and torn out the transmission. Got to be honest, it honestly doesn't look as dirty as you might think but oh boy you can expect it to be a complete mess inside. Seeing as i'm not smart enough to actually rebuild the damn thing, i'm having a friend do it but damn, is it going to cost me.
Not as much as it would cost to have someone else, someone less trustworthy than my friend but it's mostly the repair kit that's going to cost me big time. Eh, it is what it is. Now, the main problem is getting the repair kit, mostly due to how much it's going to fucking cost me and even though i know that the truck will pay for itself afterword, in the short run it is like a real kick in the balls.
A well worth one but a kick in the balls, nevertheless.
Still, i did say that this year would be a good one and while it has repeatable kicked me in the balls over the past few months, i genuinely believe that things are going to turn around this month. Not only is it a year for FNAF, i have decided to bite the bullet and get myself an Xbox One that will open my video gaming horizons even more with my recent added games of Gears Of War, Halo The Master Chief Collection and even one of the very first games i ever played on Xbox One, Ryse The Son of Rome. I originally had an Xbox One but i cannot remember why, i got rid of it.
Oh well, doesn't matter now, as i plan to get a new one sometime this year, probably after Ruin comes out, along with the new Assassin's Creed game.
But i'm going to be honest with you all, i need a little bit of advice.
I don't know what to get: An Xbox One or an Xbox S or Series X or whatever the hell it's call, as i'm worried i won't be able to play the mentioned games i got for Xbox One on an Xbox Series or if i can actually play Xbox 360 games on it, as i heard you can but i just don't have any true, concrete evidence to the contrary, so if any of you can give me a definitive answer that would be greatly appreciated. Like i said, i could look it up on the google, believe i have done several times, but for the life of me, i just can't bring myself to trust it's telling me accurately, so i figure I'd appeal to you all, the lovely peeps for help.
Surely one of you knows something, can verify or just give me a yes or no answer. Really, any help would be greatly appreciated.
But enough of that, onto the story. As always i don't own nothing but my OC.
Oh and by the way, Game Theory got a new episode out for FNAF on the possibility of what Ruin could mean and what the story of Security Breach was meant to be and honestly, i love this theory. All the pieces explained by Matpat make complete, utter, perfect sense when you put all the pieces together, along with other little details pulled from what we know about Ruin and what all the little details we know about. Really, check it out, it's great!
So please read, review and "What the fuc-BOOM"
Chapter 9: Princess Quest Two: You're the Key, Princess Quest Three: Are You Having Fun Yet and The Devil Of Freddy Fazbear
4:02 AM, 40,000 Meter In The Air Above The USA
"Mr. Stark, we will be arriving in Detroit within an hour or so."
A pool of what Tony could only describe as butterflies, being to flutter in his stomach as he nearly broke out in a cold sweat. He never really understood that saying or expected to feel such a thing, but he was feeling it, both of them. Okay, let's be real and honest here for a second, Tony never wanted kids.
Not just because he didn't like kids, which he didn't, it was because he was honestly terrified at the idea of being responsible for another human being's life.
Yeah, he could barely take care of himself if he was being honest and the only reason he was afloat right now, was because of the wonderful woman that was known as Virginia "Pepper" Potts helping him. The woman was a godsend and maybe Stane too, but mostly Pepper to be honest.
Okay, it was really Pepper but that was beside the point.
The point was, Tony knew he could barely keep a goldfish alive, let alone another human being. The man simply wasn't father martial and he most certainly did not went to sentence some poor kid to a miserable life, like his own father had done to him, so he always made sure to be careful with his affairs. But it became evident that he was not careful enough. So, the fact his so-called son looked like he was about twenty or so was a massive weight off his shoulders but felt like an anchor on his heart as well. After all, what kind of father was he if he didn't meet his son until he was almost an adult or IS an adult?
Admittedly, the kid looked like a pretty/handsome version of a younger Tony with a rounder face with exotic eyes, with a slim but muscular physique. For most people they would have been surprised, maybe even exicted but not Tony, as for him, it was his worst nightmare come true.
He wasn't ready to be a father, not now or possible ever, but it was happening and his only solace for the entire situation was the fact his kid was all grown up.
But that wasn't all he was feeling.
A part of him hoped it was just a coincidence, a really big, coincidence. But another part of him, a much larger part hoped desperately that this Xero guy WAS his kid and for the life of him, he couldn't understand why?
"Yes, you do, you silly boy." A voice that sounded suspiciously a lot like his deceased mother spoke in his mind, "After all, compared to the possibility you have a son, how many people can you count on to have your back, no matter what? That really like you for you or have a genuine bond with?" He only needed one hand to count that very, very low number, "This is your chance to have someone new to bond with and who better to bond with then a son? He is your flesh and blood, someone that can understand you better than most, who doesn't want that?" Okay that sounded a little shallow to him.
Was Tony simply that unknowingly lonely and desperate to have someone to bond with, other than the very few friends he had left, he'd seek out a possible son just for that reason alone? He didn't know but the voice in the back of his mind answered for him, "It's not about being lonely Tony, you know the truth: He is your son and you wish to know about the new life you helped create with another human being, something many don't realize is an amazing thing. You wish to see how his life turned out and want to be a part of it, not just to satisfy your own desires, but because you have a responsibility to at the very least, try to get to know this young man that is your son. Besides, it's only natural for a parent to seek out a child they did not know about and want to get to know them better."
Well, that was a mouth full but Tony understood the point.
Sort of.
Ignoring the fact he had a random voice in his head, Tony was fully aware he did not do emotions well and was, what one, mostly Pepper, would call "Emotionally stunned". Which he would agree with completely and to be fair, he was a naturally born genius, with a super-mega rich family. With a bastard father that barely spared him a glance and then, out of the blue, had the weight of the world thrusted upon him when he became an orphan, barely an adult and still a teenager.
Even if he came out alright, Tony knew he was kind of messed up, despite rising above all of it to become the man he was today. It was one of the reason why he didn't have many or any, friends at all, aside from Rhodey, Pepper and Stane. So the chance to have someone new, someone that was actually of his blood join that small circle of friends was...invigorating to say the least.
Was that the right word?
Oh well, it didn't matter.
Before the day or was it morning, was over, he'll get his answer.

Laura idly popped and retracted her two metal claws in and out of her hand, lost in thought as she stared out into nothing particular. X's spaceship could easily gotten to the Mega Pizza-Plex within thirty minutes but seeing as they still wouldn't be able to get into the mall till six AM, mostly due to legal bullshit and what not, the blonde Assassin decided to take their merry crew on the scenic route.
No matter how much it galled at her, Laura kept her temper in check, as no matter how much she'd prefer to just tear her way into the Mega Pizza-Plex, it wouldn't help her friend.
Her best and originally, her only friend, her confidant, the person she loved most in this world and her hero. Laura would do anything for him, slaughter anyone for him without hesitation and be the thing she was breed to be: A living weapon.
For most of Laura's life, she was simply a living, emotionless weapon.
A thing to be thrown away and having been created as a living weapon, was constantly experimented on from her birth to the time she escaped at age twelve. It was around the time she turned fifteen, that Laura had run into him and from the moment she laid eyes on him, Laura had only one thought, one instinct go through her body.
Fight or flight.
What?
Did you think she would suddenly feel the need to mate with the powerful Magus? Wrong. Her instincts recognize Xero as an apex predator and knew she couldn't win, no matter how hard she fought, she'd lose. That made her angry, boy when wasn't she angry? Anyway, her instincts went into overdrive, and she attacked him without even thinking, only having one purpose in her attack.
Kill.
Naturally, Xero beat her down and no matter how hard she struggled, no matter how much she had hacked and slashed, she couldn't defeat him. Ultimately, she was forced to admit defeat and prepared herself to die by his hands.
But he didn't kill her, instead only asked her why she attacked him out of the blue, like some cornered animal. Having very little choice and with the only experience she had in these kinds of situations, Laura told him everything he wanted to know without thought or care to her own wellbeing. Being raised in the Facility had taught Laura that submission was often reward and defiance would only bring her more pain.
And boy did Xero give her a world of hurt, far worse then bastard Dr. Zandar Rice or her old tormenter/handler, Kimura could only dream of. The only difference between the two, was that Xero only hurt her because she attacked him first and Kimura hurt Laura, just for the fun of it.
"So, do you even have anywhere to go?"
That one sentence sealed her fate, when she answered no.
Laura didn't really remember what happened after that, as her body and mind went on auto polit, believing that he was going to take her back to that wretched place, the Facility, so she just blindly nodded to whatever he said. Praying to anyone that heard her, that this would be the time they actually killed her, instead of more torture.
The next thing she knew, Laura was waking up in Chaldea with two of her old street comrades, Vi and Powder shaking her awake in their new home. Laura had met the two sisters during her first year on the streets and after a job gone wrong, in trying to acquire some money from some rich fucker, the three had parted way with Laura never seeing them again.
As it turned out, they had been picked up by her new master shortly after Powder got an infection from a rusted nail stabbing into her foot during their escape. Laura then learned that Vi and Powder lost their parents because of the Witch Hunters, people that hunted down Magus like them and killed without reason or care. Powder had taken a nasty blow to the head and had forced Vi to flee with her bleeding sister, blindly running till, as fate would have it, ran right into Xero himself.
To the Witch Hunters, if any possessed or had any type of magical ability, they were evil and had to be put down. Xero, her new master, owner? had found the duo, killed the Witch Hunters and offered to help the younger sister, which Vi took very reluctantly as her sister desperately needed help. Then, later on, after Powder was healed up, he ended up taking the two of them in as his appreciates.
Even now, Laura's conditioning had made her subconsciously call Xero her master, even after all these years together, seeing as she was more than willingly to become the very weapon, she was trained to be for him.
He was the reason she had this new life now. Laura had a real home, a real, genuine family that loved her despite everything she had done and even her origins as a failure/clone of Weapon X aka the Wolverine. He had even given her a purpose in life, a job that allowed her to be more than just being a weapon to be used and thrown away.
Laura knew she would do anything for him and all he had to do, was say the word.
Which is why it kind of hurt her to learn that Xero had gone off to the Mega Pizza-Plex alone. Was it something she said, did she do something wrong, or did he think she wasn't capable of helping him in this endeavor?
Of course, Olga and Gudako had to explain to her just why Xero felt the need to do this, and it made sense to Laura. Sort of.
She would admit, she wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, mostly due to the fact the Facility only taught her how to kill, she was far from stupid. Xero either felt some kind of guilt for whatever reason or he felt like he needed to end this, seeing as his mother was the one to end the terror, now he was going to finish the fight or maybe it was simple revenge for what happened to his best friend as a kid.
The last one Laura understood very well, for obvious reasons.
She understood that all too well and knew how revenge could blind someone to the point everything becomes a blur. But that was neither here nor now.
Laura had chosen to remain with Chaldea and not too long ago, decide to apply for full membership after returning from the X-Mansion, home of the famous (Or infamous, depending on who you ask) X-Men. Yeah, she had met her biological father/brother/DNA donor and after some encouragement by her friends, decided to check the place out.
Laura could only stand to be there for two months before she left to rejoined Chaldea.
Make no mistake, the X-Men were good people. Her father, despite being a bit rough and gruff towards her, tried to make it work. Ororo and Jean were nice and welcoming, while Professor X did his best to make her feel welcomed with many of the students doing the same, but it wasn't...it wasn't home.
Her home.
It wasn't where she belonged.
To Laura, her home was with her hero Xero, with the excitable but shy, genius inventor Powder, the strong, confident Vi and happy Gudako. Along with their Servants, some nice, others rude as hell and just plain insanity with no idea what will happen next.
Chaldea had been her first, real home with people that had done far worse than she could do in fifty lifetimes and while that wasn't the only reason why she went back, it was a good chunk of it. Now, to be clear, Laura did not think the X-Men were bad people or even think they were worthless, but she felt like, oh what was the term? A leaper? Yeah, that was it, Laura felt like a leaper among the X-Men.
An outcast let in but didn't belong.
Those of her age group, like Kitty, Kurt and Bobby didn't have the same experiences as her nor had they ever taken a life in any shape or form. Not even an animal, while Laura herself had butchered people without a second thought.
The X Mansion made Laura feel like an outsider, while Chaldea did not. For Laura, Chaldea wasn't just her home but her family as well and one she had no intention of turning her back on them. Logan understood when she told him and rather than try to stop her, he let her go, as did the professor and made sure Laura knew she would always be welcomed back anytime.
Something she was thankful but felt it was unneeded. She already knew where her home was and had no intention of leaving Chaldea ever again.
Now Xero was possible in trouble, with no way to contact them as their only means of communication was cut off and if Tamamo was right, the Mega Pizza-Plex had some kind of barrier around it that was blocking out their magic or something that prevented them from contacting their master via their bond.
That did nothing more than raise Laura's paranoia to max level, fearing it was the Facility that was getting back at him for keeping their 'weapon' away from them. It wouldn't be the first time they've gone after people she bonded with, as punishment for 'defying them' or whatever other bullshit reason they could come up with or just no reason at all. Since when they needed a reason to do anything and going after Xero could be nothing more than pure spite on their part, for showing her a better path.
Even if she official joined Chaldea, it would never end until one of their groups was dead. Completely and with no one left on that side.
Officially joining only meant that she would have protection in a politically sense, so when they made another attempt to kidnap her, they could be official brought up on charges of attempting kidnapping. Seeing as she was created and not born, she technically had no legal rights and was not considered human to being with, so once this happened and charges were filed, every other evil act, every crime they committed against her could follow suit as an ongoing conspiracy.
She might be a clone and without any proof of existence, it was a simple matter to make her exist legally but that wasn't the main issue though.
But she had to be official admitted as a member of Chaldea and while Xero would have loved to admit her as one, there were several legal channels they had to go through in order to make her one, because of the simple fact that she was a mutant.
In case you haven't figured it out yet, the world as a whole did not like mutants. Like, they REALLY did not like mutants, at all and allowing one to have a position in an organization like Chaldea was nothing short of sacrilegious in their minds. Even if Chaldea was a basically a PMC (Private Military Company) it was funded by the United Nations, The Church and Mage's Assocation to protect the world from supernatural threats and things no normal human or Magus could hope to defeat by conventional means.
They pretty left Chaldea alone, as director Olga and Xero proved they knew what they were doing, and it was best to leave them to their own devices. But when it came to introducing new members, they all had to basically get a screening, an interview of sorts.
Like any job but not at the same time.
To weigh the pros and cons of hiring them. But given the reason why Chaldea is so understaffed, was because of one of their most trusted members betrayed them, nearly dooming humanity. The fact she had a very bloody history didn't help but it wasn't just her. All new members were under extreme scrutiny before they were even considered to be eligible to join. Her lack of history and lack of birth certificate made it so much worse, it got to the point Xero had to assign her missions that would prove her trustworthiness. Not that she cared, as Laura would do anything he asked, he only had to say the word.
No, what she had a problem with was the fact these assholes were making it so unnecessarily difficult for her to join Chaldea, when both Xero and Gudako were more than ready to be welcoming her into Chaldea with open arms.
Most of the time, they'd just take his word for it but not this time.
But with more and more mutants appearing all over the world, a good number of them joining Magento and his little Brotherhood of mutants was only making things wore for people like her, so joining Chaldea would help protect her from other elements that wanted mutants dead, experimented on or both. It was an annoying process, but it would be worth it in the end.
Thankfully, it wouldn't be much longer now and by the end of the month, Laura would officially become a member of Chaldea. But that came with it's own set of problems, one of which would no doubt promote the Facility to take drastic actions to ensure that never happened or when it did, try to make life for Chaldea a living hell for daring to take on of their 'weapons'.
They would lose of course, as no one in the world was strong enough to oppose the full might of Chaldea, but that didn't mean they won't try.

Laura glared at her reflection within her adamantium claws, Xero was there for her when she needed it the most and now, it was time for her to return the favor.
4:15 AM, Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza-Plex, Parts & Services Room
It took a few minutes for the croc to get out all his feelings of frustration, anger, self-hatred and just plain hatred to compose himself once again. Not that Xero blamed him, neither did Gregory for that matter.
Xero personally knew the fear, the self-loathing, and the hate that came with being unable to control yourself when being mind controlled. While thank the Twins and Goddess above he had never been subjected to mind control, he'd come pretty damn close more than a couple of times. Each time, he felt control of his mind, his body slipping away was like acid in his veins.
The fear of losing control of himself, of becoming a puppet was one of his worst fears and nightmares made real.
It honestly terrified him to no end, and it was one of the reasons why he did everything he could to break someone free of mind control. No one and he meant, NO ONE deserved to become like that.
...Well, unless it was willingly and while that may sound wired, he's seen a lot of wired things over the years. A certain duel haired, lioness Berserker had asked him to be the one to hold her 'leash' so to speak but that was because she didn't trust herself NOT to lose herself to the rage that came with being a Berserker.
It was an occupational hazard and while that is what Command Seals were for, having that extra layer of protection never hurt.
"So, what do we do now kid?" Monty asked in a noticeable southern draw accent, "Causa i don't know about you all, i'd have half the mind to go and find this Afton, or Springtrap or 'Bruntrap' or whatever the fuck he calls himself now and rip him a new one."
"Monty, as much as i would love to join you on that, i don't think that's a good idea." Roxy, in a very showcase of hesitation spoke worriedly, "Believe me, i want to rip that fucker limb from limb too, he already took control of us for fucking MONTHS. I for one, do not want to go through that again."
"The smartest thing you've said all night." Xero said, after readjusting the Fazwatch as he checked the camera's for Vanny but found her nowhere. That was worrying too, "For now, we stick to the plan."
"Plan? What plan?" Chica asked with a tilted of her head.
"The plan is to keep Gregory alive, save you all and Vanessa from Afton's control, then you all leave this place at 6:00 AM and don't turn back."
"Us?" Gregory asked, noticing how he didn't mention himself, "What about you and how can we save Vanessa? Why does she even need to be saved anyway? Isn't she working for Afton?"
"You'd think that but she's not, she's like you kiddo. From what i have gathered during my investigations, Afton had you under the same spell he has Vanessa only you were a flesh puppet for him. Vanessa, however, is different as she has a very, very bad case of SPD or Split Personality Disorder. The other personality being of course, Vanny, and the one that is truly loyal to Afton. Apparently Fazbear Entertaiment salvage some of the old animatronics circuit boards and that's how Afton was able to download his consciousness into the computer. Then, either Vanessa accidently did something to release Glitchtrap or put him back together or, fuck I don't know okay. All i know for certain is that someone allowed Glitchtrap to grow and fester in the Fazbear's system and then, he sunk his claws into Vanessa. There is no fucking way I'm going to allow Afton to win in ANY shape or form and stripping him of all his allies is just the first step to his ultimate defeat. Even if Vanessa's body was the one that was chasing you and me all night kiddo, it wasn't her. Vanessa is innocent and i'll be damned to hell before i allow another innocent to die by his twisted hands."
That made sense.
Sort of.
Kind of.
Okay, it really didn't but then again, nothing about this night made any sense to the young boy, so Gregory decided to just roll with it as best he could. All night he's been doing nothing but rolling with the punches as best as he could. It was hard but doable.
"Look, the bottom line is that i can get around a lot easier by myself and with your four back to your normal selves, what does Vanny have left?" He questioned the four, "I've already proven i am more than capable of handling anything she throws at me, even survived getting my throat silt and really, what does she have left? An army of useless STAFF bots that are nothing more than cannon fodder. Access to security but seeing as i no longer have to worry about Gregory's safety, i can just go around, busting doors down."
"But-"
"But nothing." Xero cut Chica off, "Look, you guys, they needed chips to hack you four. Now, while my earlier theory of ensuring the virus would be undetectable by the normal repair men or if it was the only way to take control of you all, the fact remains that I'm dangerous to be around. You saw the same camera's i did, Vanny is out for blood, and you can bet your ass, she'll use Gregory or anything really if she think it'll get to me. So, by that logic, it's better to be away from me, as I'm certain she'll follow me, looking to crave me up like a turkey on Thanksgiving Day and will more than likely ignore Gregory if he's not with me. The idea that she could hack all of you is another reason to spilt up, as i have discovered her secret in how she's controlling Vanessa. Thus, will not only be out for my blood but will be desperate to stop me from getting to the other two keys and in panic, will most likely forget all of you entirely, making her unpredictable and dangerous. Desperation makes monster, as I'm sure your aware of Gregory."
The young boy winced, knowing full well what Xero meant and agreed fully with that. But he was far from done, "Not to mention, there are four of you against one woman. A HUMAN woman that clearly never trained once in her life and while she isn't a weakling by normal standards, when compared to us?" Xero waved a hand between the five of them, "Yeah, i think she'd have a better chance against the STAFF bots then us."
That was a good point. In fact, all of his points but the mother hen known as Chica would not let the subject drop, especially when the human in front of them has done nothing but help them, "But Mr. Mazoku, we can't leave you to deal with these evil people alone and your badly injured too with impaired vision. We can help."
"Yeah, you can help. By keeping Gregory safe is what you can do, while i save Vanessa and deal with what little forces Afton has left but i can't do both." Xero said simply, as he looked at the young boy with his one eye, "Out of all of us, he is the most vulnerable and if Vanny gets ahold of him, it's over. Now stay here, go back to your rooms, i don't care just keep Gregory safe and out of harm's way."
"But-"
"No more buts, stay here or go hide, i don't care what you do but i can't protect him and save Vanessa at the same time. I do not know if we will be able to save you a second time if Glitchtrap or Vanny takes control of you again, so it's better to not temp fate." Xero said simply, cutting her off once again with the same but, as he made his way to the elevator shaft that would take him to Roxy's room and continue on his way to find the second Princess Quest game. Gregory silently watched as Xero vanished into the hallway, as Freddy sighed at being ignored, till he looked at the orange bear.
"So, what now? What do we do while Xero is busy with that?"
"Truth be told little guy, the smartest move we can make is to keep on the move." Monty answered, "If there is one thing Xero was right about, it's that you are the most obvious target out of all of us and if this bunny bitch has any sense, she'll come after you first to get to him and us. They may have a way to remotely hack us, they may not, so it's best we ALL keep our distance from her and her little army of shit bots."
Gregory couldn't help but giggle a little at Monty's pun, as Chica walked over to Gregory and picked him up, much to his surprise, as the white/pink chicken spoke before he could protest, "Oh come no pumpkin, you've been running all night from us with that skinny body of yours and while it is impressive that adrenaline of fear is bound to wear off sooner or later. Can't have you collapsing on us, when and if you need to run, so you'll just stay on my shoulder for the time being to recovery your energy."
He would have protested regardless, if not for the fact he understood what she was saying, and Gregory did feel a bit of fatigue hitting him. Sighing, he nodded in understanding, as the five begin to move, he cast one last look at the door his first protector went thought, "You better stay alive Xero or else, i won't forgive you for giving me hope." He really hoped that seeing Xero leave wouldn't be the last time he would see him, "Is there really nothing i can do to help him?"
Maybe there was.
"Hey guys, do you have any idea where Vanny's hideout is?"
With Xero, At The West Arcade, 4:36 AM
The West Arcade, home to the biggest room of arcades machines with the brightest neon lights in the USA and is the space to the one and only DJ Music Man animatronic.
Now normally one might think the DJ would be the most human animatronic of the bunch, given his name and purpose, but that couldn't be further from the truth. For one, DJ Music Man was a fucking massive robot. His whole-body structure has been completely revamped, now much more reminiscent to a spider than his previous counterpart. His textures on his face are also changed, with his eyebrows and cheeks being a light blue instead of purple and pink. He seems to lack the pink stripes on the sides of his face, and instead of two pink spots on his chin he has a single light blue stripe. His upper row of teeth have some black teeth or chips evoking the appearance of a keyboard. Instead of his signature cymbals, he wears red and yellow headphones on his head. DJ Music Man's black hat also has a yellow stripe instead of a white one. DJ Music Man walks on all six of his limbs, which all have the white gloves the regular Music Man has on his hands. Upon closer inspection, a bow tie is visible on his neck, with button-like objects below it.
How did Xero know this, even though he's never seen said room or the animatronic up close and personal?
Because he was currently staring at it right now and it was, asleep? Did animatronics' need to sleep or was he just charging in a way that made it LOOK like he was asleep.
Still, if it wasn't for Cassidy, it be nigh, impossible to find the Princess Quest machine in a literarily sea of arcades. The West Arcade or otherwise known as Fazcade, is unusually big compared to the other Arcade Areas. It contains three floors connected with spiral staircases, with a bridge branching across the third floor, and numerous arcade machines. There are Japanese-styled karaoke rooms located on the third floor along with the security office. Located on the first floor is a big DJ arena and booth, which is where DJ Music Man sleeps while he isn't manning it. There are numerous circular holes of any size along the walls and ceiling for the big DJ to crawl into and why they needed to be there was beyond Xero's understanding.
Why, just why would you design it that way and who was the son of a bitch did it, so he could find them and strangle them?!
But that was neither here nor the now at the moment. What he did understand and know, was that he needed to get to the third floor, where the large hallway located behind the security office on the third floor. This hallway is assumedly a storage room for arcade machines and the current location of the Princess Quest II machine.
Sass
"And probably get chased by the giant robot spider." Xero sighed in agreement, as he nodded, "Right." Knowing his luck, that is most certainly going to happen and he was going to end up doing what he's been doing all night:
Running away like a little bitch, as a giant spider robot chases you, just like in his nightmares.
"Hopefully DJ Music Man doesn't spin webs out of his butt." Cause that would be both gross and could be the very thing that entraps him. Get it, cause he's a spider robot?
Annoyance
"Oh shut up Cass." Xero muttered as he started making his way up to the first floor, kicking a security bot away, sending it tumbling into his rolling friends. Goddess and Twins above, whoever programed these things was in deep need to be fired, as they were more useless than Gilgamesh when he didn't want to do anything! At least he got off his butt, he basically mowed down all the enemies present and win them the day with ease. Meanwhile, these damn STAFF bots couldn't even catch a fucking fat fly on his last legs, even if he was right in front of them.
The trip was pretty uneventful, as he torn his way through those dumb enough to try and stop him, which to be honest it was a lot. Like, a ridiculous number of STAFF bots just rolling their way to their own deaths, as he smashed, bashed and crashed all those within reach. Part of him wanted to say that this wasn't just them following their programming but a sort of desperate need to stop him and who is so desperate to stop him from reaching the second Princess Quest?
Vanny.
Finally reaching the third floor, dripping in oil stains, thanks to the foolish machines, Xero wiped his hands as best he could as he walked towards the security office. Walking into it, he soon spotted what he was looking for: A level eight security badge.
"One security badge for me, please." Xero yanked the offered item and slipped it into his pocket, even if he could break down the doors, it never hurt to have one of these things. A just in case, ya never know what doors it could open.
Statement
"Ya i know, time's of the essence and the clock is running down." Xero said, as he started making his way towards the second Princess Quest arcade game. For one reason or another and most likely because of Glitchtrap, Xero only had until a six AM window to free Vanessa from his control or else, she would be under his spell forever.
"Most likely because of what is happening tonight." Tonight, were the night that bastard Afton moves his plan into their final stage, a way to gain quote unquote "True immortality" whatever that meant. Truth be told, Cassidy had told him, showed him really via her memories and while he understood WHAT he intended to do tonight, how Afton planned to achieve true immortality was something Cassidy didn't know, and Charlie couldn't tell him.
At least not yet.
Stupid, convoluted rules.
He understood, he really did about not mixing the world of the living with the world of the dead, least that would be the first step into opening the flood gates of chaos. Which would ultimately lead to, the two dimensions colliding, which in turn could threaten all of existence with the domino effect.
In other words, if Charlie wasn't careful, she could really send everything spiraling into pure chaos and her doing this much was trending a very, VERY thin line. What Cassidy did to Afton, keeping him trapped in that purgatory hell like state, while not as threatening as Charlie's actions, did allow Afton to return to the world as Glitchtrap.
Now Bruntrap.
Statement
"Do you really think so?" Xero asked, as he made it to the very long hall, behind the security office, "Do you think it's because of Vanessa's bloodline that would have doomed her, had we not show up when we did?" While it certainly had merit to it, while bloodlines did not decide on who could be affected by said ritual as everyone was suspected to magical rituals, the caster and the target of said spell could have deadly consequences.
Most of the time it depended on what kind of ritual it was, the caster's overall magical power and the targets own will power.
While it was highly doubtful that Afton actually had any magic to begin with, what he did tonight, how he was able to completely cut him off from his magic and even drain it made Xero wonder if the fool hadn't stumble upon something he shouldn't have.
"I guess it doesn't matter." Xero said, as he reached the second Princess Quest Arcade, before he booted it up, "One way or another, that bastard is going back where he belongs." Back to Hell, where people like him belong.
The game booted up, with the Princess facing some old man, a wizard judging from his staff and beard, then he spoke or spoke in text at least, "You are alive. That is good. Take the sword of light and go." Xero held back a snort. Sword of light? Seriously? It honestly sounded like something out of a fantasy RPG Gudako liked to play, when they weren't working.
He was personally a first-person shooter guy, like Halo and the like but that was just him.
But he did enjoy a good old fashion third person game too, like Ghost Of Tsushima as well, but again that was just him.
Shaking his head, Xero focused on the game, now using the Sword of Light to destroy, what he could only describe was pieces of Glitchtrap's virus, virus. The same black, blob like creatures resembled that massive Glitchtrap thing from the previous game's end. Only much smaller and assuming that these things were indeed part of Glitchtrap, Xero made it a point to destroy everyone, single one of them.
He hoped it would weaken Afton, but he wasn't holding out hope.
"Yeah, gotcha." Xero grinned, as he killed several of the glitching rabbit's things, further proving to him that there was indeed a connection between them and Glitchtrap. As he played the game, it was an awful lot like the previous one, dodge or kill the rabbits, get the keys and collect health hearts. But something changed, when he happened upon a red lantern on the ground, between three yellow lanterns and purple lanterns, "Huh, that's strange. What do i do?" Xero titled his head, deciding to just bite the bullet and 'hit' the red lantern and was surprised to see TWO princesses show up as a result, "Woah, what's this now?"
The second princess was a shadowy version of herself with purple eyes and a black sword.
"Oh, i get it, it's a puzzle game." Xero used the controls to make the two princesses, moving in sync, to strike their respectable lanterns, causing two more to appear. After manipulating the three lanterns with the four one into a specified sequence, the locked door opened. Only for the door to lead him to a new arena, with the old wizard present, saying:
"Congratulations! Your quest is over! Time to sleep."
Huh?
Frowning, Xero moved towards the only door in the room he hadn't been through, a steel one with purple glitches over it, and ended up in a space that looked like a security office. Before he could process what, he did, a new text appeared and it said simply, "The door is shut." Then the screen went dark, with the words OUT OF ORDER appearing on screen in big, bold red letters.
Just like before.
"Well, okay, that was a thing." Xero stepped back, having obliviously completed the game and idly wondered if Vanessa was breaking free from the chains that bound her or if Vanny was trying to tighten them up, "Here's to hoping this is actually helping Vanessa and not giving her false hope."
With Vanny
"ARRRGGGHHHH!"
Vanny suddenly dropped to her knee's, slowly going into a fetal position desperately trying to make the pain go away. As a result, she had dropped her beloved knife in the process, clutching her head as a massive headache suddenly wracked her mind. It was as if someone had taken a metal baseball bat and wacked her head.
Repeatable.
And very hard with all their strength possible.
All the while, deep within her mind, Vanessa felt the chains binding her stomach and arms slowly go slack and release her as they dropped to the ground, vanishing.
Two down, one to go.
But it was not over, as Vanny slowly crawled on the ground, feeling her anger raise with the pain she was feeling, "So you think you can do this to me and get away with its meddler?" Vanny asked, despite the pain, had a manic grin spilt her face as she slowly reached into her suit pockets and pulled out a remote control. One that was styled with the DJ Music Man colors, "Lets see you deal with THIS!" Then pressed the big, red button.
TIME FOR THE ISTY, BISTY SPIDER TO CAPTURE ITS PREY.
Back With Xero
Suddenly and without warning, the lights went out all around them, as the power was cut off, "What the?"
Suddenly his Fazwatch sprang to life, with a message from Freddy, "Xero, the security system knows you are here and has locked you out. Reset the breakers and restore power to the West Arcade in order to escape. That includes the DJ, i do not know if Vanny or Afton infected him with the same virus done to my friends, but i would rather you not find out."
"Yeah, you and me both, Fred-bear." Xero said, using his Yoki to make his eyes change to that of the Yoma, allowing him to see in the dark, "Are the elevator's still working."
"Yeah, they are Xero." That was Roxy's voice, "But all the power within the West Arcade is offline and that includes the safety protocols." Okay seriously, who the fuck designed this fucking place and how was it still open?!
"Kid, you need to get the hell out of there! NOW!"
For once, Xero agreed completely with Monty on that, as he started to make a beamline for the exit, he heard a loud THUMP. Xero froze, as he slowly turned around and felt his blood turn to ice, as DJ Music Man slowly crawled out of the massive hole in the wall, massive eyes glowing an eerie purple, his intent very much clear.
"RUN YOU FOOL!"
Not needing to be told twice, Xero bolted down the hallway, ignoring the loud "Thumps" that followed him, feeling his heartbeat speed up. He could have used his Yoki but the risk of it being stolen by Afton, even if it was a very slim chance, was there in the back of his mind. Thankful. his muscular body wasn't just for show and he kept himself in very good shape.
Including his stamina and running as with his base speed.
Rounding the coroner in the long hallway, Xero was able to make it to the third floor before the DJ appeared out of another massive hole, his equally massive hand reaching for him, as Xero slid across the sleek floor on his knees, the oil on his legs helping him slide across the floor, dodging the massive, grappling hand.
Damn, for someone so big he was fucking fast!
Rather than going to the stairs, Xero opted to jump from the railing and crashing down on the second floor with his knee's bent, "Fuck." He groaned as he felt a little bit of a shockwave go through his legs, "Should have thought that through." With no Yoki or mana to cushion his fall, he legs felt a bit of backlash for his reckless actions. But at least this gave him a chance to put some distant between him and the nightmare fuel.
What?
He didn't like spiders and that thing was basically a spider with a human head, which makes it so much worse. Running towards the stairs and down the circling casing, did the DJ managed to get down on the ground, causing Xero to speed up, using some of his Yoki to 'Phantom' towards the elevator, all but slamming into the wall, smashing the call button.
"Come on, come on, come on." Xero chaunted, as the DJ spotted him, before drawing in closer as the eleavtor finally opened its door and he jumped in, slamming any and all buttons. He kept hitting it, as the massive form of the DJ Music Man drew closer and closer, raising his massive hand towards him as the doors closed and just when it looked like he was about to be grabbed.
DING
THUMP
The doors closed just in the nick of time, preventing the DJ from getting him. Once the elevator began to move, AWAY from the massive form of the DJ, did he relax, as he slumped against the wall with a heavy sigh, "Oh Goddess, i think i just lost five years of my life."
Concern
"Yeah, i just need a minute." Man, how long has it been since he felt like this? It had been a long time since he allowed himself to get put into a position like this, having to conserve ever bit of power and strength he had left. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself, "Yep, this is what you get Mazoku. You got cocky and fell right into a trap, nice work." Shaking his head, taking a deep breath in and standing up straight, Xero spoke to Cassidy, "Alright princess, where's the final Princess Quest game?"
Statement
"Really? In Fazer Blast?" Xero quirked an eyebrow, "Where in the world is she hiding at? It isn't exactly a subtle place to hide at." Well it was and it wasn't, as hiding places were common in that section of the Mega Pizza-Plex, they were pretty tight, little corners.
Statement
"Oh, ABOVE Fazer Blast, that makes sense." Both in the fact it was a good place to put a hideout and strategically speaking, being above everyone else, having a good overview of the entire section gives you the perfect way to plan your attack. Not to mention it isn't exactly a public space and the kind of thing that is and isn't on the blueprints of the place.
Yes, the rafters were there, a place for people to go in order to work on the ceiling, but the small section in which Vanny made her home was well hidden in plain sight and easy to escape too as well. All in all, an ideal place to camp at, easily able to move anywhere in the Pizza-Plex without fail.
After the elevator door opened up, Xero checked the time on his Fazwatch and was surprised to see, "Holy hell, 5:03, that's less than an hour from the doors opening. Better hurry." The nightmare was almost over and soon enough, all the agony that Willaim Afton caused would be put to rest at long last.
But first, he had to free Vanessa and Gregory from his twisted clutches.
With many of the STAFF bots destroyed, it took no time at all for Xero to enter the Fazer Blast arena and boy, was it quite a scene.
The Fazer Blast is a massive Laser Tag arena, filled with several neon-colored walls, alongside artwork of the Glamrocks in space helmets holding various alien-themed blasters. Within the area, spotlights from the ceiling above light up the areas. A raised walkway is visible, leading to closed off rooms. Some of these rooms are decorated, with one including a poster of MoonDrop. Some appear decorated as an office.
The walls have various designs on them, glowing. The lights in them are various colors depending on the exact area, and flash randomly. Various props are placed on the raised rooms, including a giant rocket. Two planet-like spheres are seen, with a colored glowing ring each. Additionally, what appear to be several rides are also included. One of these appears to be a swinging ball, appearing to be swinging on a pendulum.
The flooring design appears to be a patterned carpet, with a repeating pattern of one of the Glamrocks, wearing a space suit while holding one of the blasters.
Much like the rest of the Mega Pizza-Plex, it had blinding, irritating lights that threatened to blind him, but he'd gotten used to it by this point. But what was however irritating was the fact he saw a certain somebody that was supposed to be hiding and NOT here!
"Gregory..." He growled out the boy's name, making him flinch, as he came out of his poor hiding spot, "what are you doing here and where are Freddy and other others?"
"T-there at recharge stations." Gregory shuttered, looking down from Xero's angry face, "I-i know you said to stay out of sight but i wanted to help and-"
"FUCKING DIE MEDDLER!"
Before either could response, a white blur slammed into Xero, revealing Vanny with her knife in hand, trying and failing to stab Xero with it. Said man swore, as he held Vanny off from stabbing him while they tumbled on the ground, before he glared at the frozen Gregory, "GODDESS DAMNIT, RUN GREGORY! NOW!"
"BUT I CAN HELP!"
"FUCKING- FINE, HEAD UP TO VANNY'S HIDEOUT, IT'S UP IN THE RAFFTERS CATWALK! FOLLOW HER SECERT PATHWAY NEAR THE PRIZE COINTER, AND PLAY THE PRINCESS QUEST GAME! HURRY!"
Gregory nodded, not questioning just doing, as he was told before bolting towards the hidden entrance to the higher up stairwell. All the while Vanny glared at the boy that had been causing her all kinds of problems all night, behind her mask, before she made a beamline for the boy, only to fall flat on her face by Xero grabbing her ankle, "Where you going bunny bitch? Your fight is with me!" And pulled her back to continue their brawl.
With Gregory
The boy ran through the very dark corridor, barely able to see, even with his flashlight on. He left the four-animatronics behind, as they all had to recharge and while he did promise to wait for them to finish recharging, as this would be the last time they get to recharge before they leave the Mega Pizza-Plex, but that was beside the point. The point was that he, Gregory, couldn't help himself when he saw Xero going to Fazer Blast. All night he's been on the run, ducking and weaving, hiding behind someone else to the point he was sick of it.
He wasn't a baby, he could help damnit!
So he went to find Xero and finally gotten the chance he wanted. When his protector told him to find the final Princess Quest hidden in Vanny's lair, as he held off said woman, he didn't think twice before he bolted to said location.
From what he could see, the room he found himself in was filled with those tall, computer things with the varies wires plugged in and blue lights, flickering on and off. Not to mention it was completely dark and the only way he could see, was thanks to the flashlight he on his person. After dodging some of those twisted looking STAFF bots, the ones with the creepy smiles painted on their faces, running up some neons stairs and racing acorss the catwalk, Gregory finally arrived at Vanny's lair.
How did he know it was her lair?
It was quite simple actually; it was a small room with a cot in the corner, a small window overviewing the Fazer Blast and the Princess Quest game, dirty and hidden in another corner. It was mostly just a gut feeling, but he was certain that this was her hideout. Oh, and the large VANNY name written in purple paint on the wall helped tip him off as well.
Just a little.
Shaking his head and ignoring it, Gregory grabbed a nearby stool and pulled it up to the game, as it blinked with the words: "Press Start To Play"
Without thinking twice, Gregory pressed start and the game booted up, showing the golden princess in the security office. Which personally Gregory found a bit wired but thought nothing of it, as he used the controls to move the princess, his years of gaming coming into play, "Huh, it's like a classic hack and slash game." Ones where the player has to fight of hordes of enemies and collect items to get to the next arena. He had played a load of games, before and after he started living on the streets.
It was one of the bright lights he had in life, something he could do without worry or fear of failure, just mindless fun. It could be said that Gregory was safe to shut his brain off, but he needed it to work the game, so he shut off about ninety percent of his brain, blocking out all the worries he had in his life and act like any kid would.
"But not this time." Gregory thought as he made his character's way through the maze, dodging flaming captain Foxy coming after him, trying to lite all the lanterns to get the item within the chest of the maze, "I know what he said but i seriously have no idea how this will free the security guard lady from Glitchtrap." Meaning that a woman's fate was in his hands and if he failed, he might not only fail the security lady but his protector as well.
No pressure.
But Gregory ultimately did as he was told, as Xero hadn't steered him wrong yet.
After a few minutes, securing the Vanny mask of all things, then going to the left door, Greogory's character entered an odd room with a large Chica watching and converter belt but thought nothing of it.
"I W-W-AS THE FFFRRRRIIIIISSSSSSTTTTTT. I HAVE SE-EN EEEEEEEEVEVVVVVVVEEEERRRRRRYTTTTTTTHHHHIIINNGGGG."
Shaking his head, Gregory ignored the sudden voice in his head, as he finally found what he was looking for: A green, glowing plushie bunny, strangely enough. Ignoring this, he made his way back to the entrance, only to be ambushed by a horde of enemies! "Come on, come on, come on." Gregory stuck his tongue out, as his eyes narrowed as he rapidly pushed the big button, killing another black bunny thing on the screen, as he finally reached the gate! "Yes, yes, YES!" Gregory cheered, as the wooden, locked gate opened up, then using the controllers, he made the golden princess enter the room, as the screen begin to fade to black, Gregory heard it.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
A blood curling scream was the last thing Gregory heard as the screen went from black to blank, as a large ERROR sign appeared on screen in big, bold red letters making the boy blink in confusion.
Did it work?
Back With Xero and Vanny
Vanny suddenly stopped struggling, slumping against his body like a puppet with it's strings cut, just seconds after hearing the same screaming Gregory heard, as the woman caught in his hold stopped moving.
Completely.
Xero slowly let Vanny go, as the woman in the bunny costume slumped to the ground, sitting on her knees and while she was clearly breathing, she wasn't moving. He had half the mind to find a stick and poke her with it but held himself back when the woman finally moved.
She slowly, as if she had just woken up, raised her hands and...took off the bunny mask.
"Vanessa?" Xero questioned slowly circling the woman, who was still sitting on her knees and when he finally got a look at her face, her glassy eyes were staring at the mask with tears streaming down her pretty face, disbelief clear on her expression. Her head suddenly shot up, tears still streaming down her cheeks, and she lunged at him, making him back up but he hit a wall, making him cruse.
He didn't have much time to do more, as Vanessa reached for him, but rather than try to stab him or strangle him, she hugged him.
Very tightly, as her silent crying turn into a full-blown sobbing feast. Not the quiet, crying or even crying but full-on gross crying. With tears, snot and saliva all added to the mix to create a very gross scene. After a few long seconds of baffled stiffness, he gingerly patted her shoulder. It didn't sound like she'd stop crying any time soon. Instead, the sobbing got worse and was suddenly interspersed with barely comprehensible babbling, as she kept hugging him. Babbling something along the lines of "Thank you, thank you" or something like that. It was honestly hard to tell with her loud sobbing. And the hiccupping, along with all kinds of not unrecognizable words that flew out of her mouth a million miles a minute.
All of it unrecognizable but he got the general idea.
"You're welcome." Slowly and making sure this wasn't a trick to get him to lower his guard, Xero readjusted himself, to better hug the woman, as she stayed firmly in his arms and her head still buried in his chest.
The two stayed like that for a while.
Later, 5:45 AM, Fifteen Minutes Until Doors Open
"Alright, you all head to the entrance, find a place to lay low and wait for me." Xero spoke to the group of Freddy, Chica, Monty, Roxy, Gregory and Vanessa, as they walked towards the elevator door on the first floor of the Atrium, "While i cannot speak certain for Gregory and Vanessa, i know you four don't have anywhere to go and are technically Fazbear Entertaiment property. Now, i can protect you from them, as i have there is no question that the people up top knew what was going on and were willingly to help Afton in his twisted plans, so we can use that to have them all arrested. Then, with my own connections, i can buy out the company, legally placing you all under my ownership." As he said this, his face twisted in disgust, before he sighed, "Sorry to say that guys, but it's true."
The four animatronics had finished recharging and found the three humans when Vanessa was finally able to compose herself enough to speak. And she had hastily wiped off all the grossness off of Xero's shirt, once she saw the damage, she had caused but Xero simply waved it off.
As much as he liked this new outfit, it was probably, no it was most certainly going to get destroyed.
But that was life.
"We know kid and to be honest, I'd rather YOU be our owner then those assholes up top." Monty said with a shrug, "Those bastards would scrap us the second something goes wrong. But you? You risked your own life to save us, even when we were actively trying to kill you."
"Because you couldn't control yourselves." Xero said simply, "Like being a prison in your own body as someone else pulled the strings like some twisted puppet master, all the while you were unable to do anything but watch as your body acted against your will. Its nothing short but a living hell, especially when your forced to kill innocents. Children even and your own friends. I won't blame someone, nor punish them for something that is clearly beyond your control and this is the very definition of something beyond control."
Monty sighed in both relief and acceptance, "Thanks kid."
"Can't really call a kid, Monty." Roxy said with a smile, "No 'kid' would be able to keep this little punk alive, fight off an army of STAFF bots, Ms. Grouchy Pants over there and us in one night with less than six hours. Xero isn't no kid, he's a man, THE man as far as i'm concerned."
"Yep, Mr. Xero is a real hero." Chica cheered happily, as Vanessa, now clad in a purple button up shirt. and black pants nodded in full agreement.
"Yes. Yes, he is." My hero, went unsaid, as Vanessa felt her cheeks flush bright red, all but burning a hot cheery red as she looked at Xero once again. Vanessa wasn't sure what exactly her type was, seeing as for the last two years she was nothing but a flesh puppet for a long dead serial killer and his little heir. As one can expect, Vanessa didn't have much time to decide on that, but given the fact Xero was not only the man who saved her, was strong, kind with a beautifully crafted, exotic face made the blonde woman's heart flutter and caused her stomach to do flip flops.
Admittedly, she was being a bit bias, he had saved her, and he is the first man that had taken a interest in her for, well who the hell knows as she wasn't exactly popular with men or even woman in general. But the man in front of her, had her heart throbbing wildly in her chest.
Never once in her life had she ever seen someone quite like this man and it was making head and stomach do all kinds of wired things to her body. It had to be a crime to be both handsome and beautiful, at the same time as he was.
Surely to God it had to be, especially with those exotic eyes of his and the pale skin went well with the long, wild black hair. Even if they were purple like HIS, Vanessa didn't feel dread or anger at seeing them. No, she felt...she felt something else entirely. Again, Vanessa was aware that this might have been hero worship for him saving her from certain death or a fate worse than death itself, she couldn't help it.
The fact he was the eye candy didn't help matters at all.
He saved her, gave her a life back and he didn't have too. He could have easily just killed her and be done with it or even leave her to rot, finding it a fitting punishment for allowing Glitchtrap to take control of like he did, but he didn't. Xero went out of his way, of his mission's objective to help and save her from the monster in her head and all she can do, is, well maybe give him a little-
"No, down girl." Vanessa chastised her rising libido, "No is most certainly not the time, nor the place to be having those kinds of thoughts."
"But look at him." A voice that sounded an awful lot like Vanny said in Vanessa head, "That man is not just a catch, but a fucking dish for a man! Come on, when was the last time you got any?" Only instead of urging her to brutally kill little kids, it was urging her to jump his bones, to give herself to him as 'thanks' for saving her, but she wasn't that desperate.
Was she?
"Says the woman that faked having a boyfriend, going so far as to send yourself flowers and chocolate from 'Brad'."
Okay, maybe she was but that was beside the point! Besides, if Vanessa eyes didn't deceive her, she could swear to any God listening that she spotted what looked like a wedding ring on his finger. An unusual wedding ring, as it had the same gold brand but with a beautiful rainbow-colored gem on it, one of prettiest she had ever seen and looked like it cost a very pretty penny to have personalized.
What, she knew good fashion. Sue her.
"Are you sure about this, Mr. Mazoku." Freddy's voice knocked her out of her thoughts, as she saw the robot bear approach Xero, "Glitchtrap or whatever he is called isn't like Vanny or my friends. This man is a killer and-"
"Oh I'm aware of that Fred-bear but this kind of thing is basically my bread and butter." Xero cut off Freddy, smiling lightly at Vanessa and Gregory, "Your nightmare is basically my every day. So don't you or the rest of you," He waved his hand at the rest of the gang, "don't worry about me. Just focus on getting out of here and laying low. I WILL be back, i promise and a Mazoku never breaks a promise." With his peace said, Xero left the group and headed towards the Roxy Raceway to final end the nightmare once and for all.
Watching him go, Vanessa sighed, before nodding her head towards the entrance way, "Come on, let's go." She wanted to help him; she really did but Vanessa wasn't an idiot. She knew full well that she and the rest of the animatronics would only get in the way, given how easily he manhandled Vanny and even weak as he was now, he still did it with complete ease.
That and Vanessa honestly didn't want to give that bastard another chance to mind control her. He did it once, who's to say he couldn't do it again and this time, there may not be a way for her to come back. Along with the others, it was just too much of a risk and everyone else seemed to agree, as they all moved towards the entrance.
"Can't believe I'm finally getting out of here." Gregory said, mostly to himself as Vanessa nodded in agreement with the boy, as Freddy patted his back.
"I told you, superstar that me and Mr. Mazoku would keep you safe. By the time we reach the entrance, the doors will open, and we can finally leave this cursed place." Even if the Mega Pizza-Plex was his home by default, after tonight, Freddy could only think of it as both, a prison and cursed place. Part of him even began to believe his very name itself was cursed, seeing as it seemed like the name Freddy Fazbear seemed to be drenched in blood and death.
"You're telling me." Roxy rolled her arm, "If i didn't know any better, i could have sworn tonight was the night it would happen."
Gregory and Vanessa blinked in confusion, as the three other animatronic groaned, well Monty groaned, as Chica and Freddy looked worryingly at Roxy, as Monty muttered, "Not this again, for fuck sake's Roxy it was some sort of damn glitch or something."
"Whether it was a dream or a glitch, I'm telling you, one of these little bastards were going to run me over with my own damn go-karts!" Roxy yelled back, as the two humans looked at Freddy and Chica, while Roxy and Monty started arguing. Truth be told, it was unclear if Roxy or any of them had dreams, as they all experienced such a thing only once in their time of activation, but before they brushed it off as a glitch in the system.
But now?
Now they weren't so sure, as Chica once had a dream of her forcedly dragging a child to the underground and now, knowing what they know, was it really just a bad dream or was it the virus in their systems slowly peeking through? Was it her own programming in 'Protecting the kids' that was attempting but failing to override the Afton virus, thus found a way to circumvent it and was letting her know what it was making her do.
Maybe.
"You're telling me kid." The blonde woman finally spoke sighing deeply, her face and eyes were still hot from all the tears she shed, along with her throat feeling raw, "I never thought i would be able to escape from that bastard's clutch's, let alone get Vanny out of my head yet here we are." All because of some random guy deciding to meddle when he didn't need too, and he could have just as easily killed her. Been done with it but he went out of his way to help her and Vanessa would forever be in his debut for it.
For not giving up on her, like so many others would have.
"Come on, lets get out of here." Vanessa said, steering the young boy towards the exit, "I know a place where we can lie low and wait for Xero." The old motel might have been run down, but so long as she paid up front and in cash, the owner wouldn't say a word. The guy was shady but so long as she paid, he would keep his mouth shut.
The trip to the exit was filled with silence, none of them knew what to say, what was there to say? All their lives had been turned upside down with everything they've learned tonight and the long nightmare that some of them had been trapped in, had finally reached it's end. But what now? What was next for them? The Glamrocks had effectively lost their home, one that was never truly their home as it was all just one giant trap to lure kids in, so a long dead serial killer could achieve immortality.
But now that killer was about to be killed and sent to Hell for good, the nature of what happened in the Mega Pizza-Plex would no doubt get the entire place shut down. Including them and even if Xero did as he said, buying all of Fazbear Enteritament, could it really keep them all safe? Keep the Glamrocks as themselves or was it just a pipe dream?
None of the animatronics knew for certain but decided to just trust Xero. After all, he didn't need to go out of his way, risking life and limb to purge the virus from their systems, while keeping their personalities intact all the while.
Whatever happened, the foursome knew they could trust him.
The same could be said of the two humans, both knowing he didn't need to but chose to save them, meant that they would trust his judgement. If there was one thing they knew for certain, it was that they could trust him.
Nothing else needed to be said.
"DING, DING. ENDING NIGHTTIME PROTCOOLS!"
"The door are open, lets go!" Gregory yelled, as they all ran to the double doors, eager to get some fresh air and see the sun once again. But just as the group existed the Mega Pizza-Plex, they were greeted with a sight.
And boy where they were greeted with quite the sight.
Several military vehicles, a helicopter hovering above them, along with some giant boat thing and several soldiers belong to various groups, were pointing their guns at one another. Some Vanessa recognized as US military soldiers, a good chunk of them being MRD soldiers that did worry Vanessa, while others she did not know all too well. Also, why was there a man in an entirely black outfit with an eyepatch with another guy with, a bow?
Okay her day was getting weirder.
Among them she could even spot a few men in suits, reminding her of classic government agents that belong to the CIA, complete with ties. Many different groups that indeed. Fuck, there was even an bald man in a wheelchair, with several oddly dressed people and hell, one of the groups wasn't even armed and it was, wait was that Tony Stark?! The hell was he doing here?! And what was up with the other group that had the redhead woman with the sword strapped to her hip and there was another woman with... fox tails and ears? And if Vanessa eyes didn't deceive her, but there were at least four look a-likes, each wearing their unique own outfits too. Hell, one of them was wearing what a fucking blue bikini top with a large sun hat and wielding a spear of all things.
Okay odd, very odd.
What was odder, was some of the women with her, oh Goddamn, that was a tall blonde. Vanessa knew she was about avenger height but that blonde woman with the mismatched eyes was fucking tall! And her arms! Those damn things looked like tree trunks rather then just well muscles arms, as Vanessa was certain the taller blonde's leg muscle alone could snap her in half.
Jesus Christ, what the hell is she eating to make her so tall and... big.
VERY big.
Another group was dressed differently yet similar to the man in the wheelchair's group, one of which was a massive, FAT man. Like, seriously, how the hell was he still moving. And who the hell was the toad guy? Also, was that woman in the white tank top and pants, naturally blue or was it some kind of mutation? Were these people's mutants? Not that Vanessa had any problems with mutants personally and she was in a sense, saved by one, so any prejudice she had against them before had vanished when Xero saved her. But still, something in her gut told her that these people won't be as kind as the man who saved her.
The fact they were here at all, told Vanessa there was a very good chance they were here for Xero.
Seriously, why else would all these groups, some with heavy military hardware too boot come to a kid's entertainment place. Unless they were here for Glitchtrap and quite possible Vanny aka herself. Were they?
Nah.
The next group that stood out, were next to some of the soldiers, were the Fantastic Four, while three of them were easy to recognize, their strong man, The Thing is what made them so easily recognizable. Then again, it was hard not to recognize a large walking, talking rock like creature and the worst part is that many were afraid of Ben Grimm the Thing.
Well, maybe not afraid but certainly put off by his appearance and Vanessa might have been too, had she not experienced all she had in the past year. During the debut into the world, many believed Ben to be a monster and Vanessa was sadly among them, but now that she had seen the face of a true monster, of true evil, she can say one hundred percent certainty that the strong man of the FF was no monster.
Moving on, each and every one of the groups were all unique and different in their own ways with some similar like the one being headed by an older man with short whitening/graying hair and a mustache, had put her on edge for some reason. The fact he was dressed in a green suit, told her that it was very possible he was a commander of sorts, but that tab bit of information put Vanessa more on edge. With the way the shorter man with the brown hair and glasses that belonged to the group that had the oddly dressed red/orange haired woman with the sword on her hip was looking at him, like one would look at a particular dangerous snake that was primed to bite, it reminded her of Glitchtrap.
Mostly, because Vanessa had the same look on her own face, when she first saw the monster in her head.
But that ultimately didn't matter, as looking between all the groups, she realized something: All of these groups looked like they were ready to start firing and tearing into each other, the blonde knew she had to stop them.
Now.
"Wait, just wait!" Vanessa yelled out, trying to stop an all-out shot out between the MRD, The BSAA, Chaldea, Brotherhood, X-Men, the agents of SHEILD and who the fuck knew else was in this massive would be battle royal, from opening fire on each other.
And getting her, the Glamrocks and Gregory caught in the crossfire.
"Listen, something is down there, under the Roxy Raceway and Xero is trying to stop it. Something pure evil." Vanessa said, trying to keep the desperation out of her voice but was failing, badly, "He needs help, if you hurry, you can-"
BOOM
Something exploded behind her, sending her tumbling and left her ears ringing. By the time Vanessa was able to regain her sense and see clearly past the dust, she looked up and saw something that made her blood run cold. The Pizza-Plex, already ready to crumble under the weight of everything happening on the worst/best day of her life.
Out of the crumbling Pizza Plex, she saw the one who had finally freed her from that monster's control, with several tendril-like wires struck through his body, stabbing into his limbs like a damn pin cushion, with Xero desperately holding one back from piercing his heart after his body crashed into the concrete ground creating a good-sized crater upon his rough landing, as a blacken figure of metal and wires emerged from the Pizza-Plex. A monstrous of Freddy Fazbear's past, a collection of it's past stars, all rolled up into one, giant behemoth and it bellowed out a mighty roar.
"RRRROOOOAAAAARRRRRR"
A Few Minutes Before
Xero made his way back to Rockstar Row, remembering what the odd sticky told said, noting how they opened a section to the underground during the construction of the Mega Pizza-Plex. Which meant there had to be some sort of enternce to the place.
It was only when he entered the raceway, did he realize just how big it was.
The main room itself briefly appears in Security Breach's second trailer, originally unnamed. The room itself is giant; On the right side, several rows of seats are placed, separated into two sections by a giant silver statue of Roxanne herself. The statue holds a flag, although the design is covered in shadows.
At the far end of the room, Roxanne is seen with a modified appearance. Within this appearance, Roxy is wearing shades, and her entire outfit has been changed; Instead of her original outfit, she now has a black and red racing outfit. In her hands is two checkered flags, which are crossed as they wave.
On the left side, Several pit stops are visible, although appearing to be more for concession stands. A garage door is between two of them, partially open. Further back, a few trees can be seen, alongside a giant pedestal. Although it barely peeks in, what appears to be a rainbow cup similar to that of a McDonalds McFlurry is seen, raised off of the ground by a rainbow pole.
Closer to the camera, a row of junk and cars can be seen. What appears to be crates and metal poles are visible, although not much else stands out. The ceiling design is arched like an upside-down two-sided Skateboarding ramp, with a glowing light green streak outlining the bottoms. The right side appears to slightly clip into the ceiling.
Finally, in the center of it all, a giant track is visible, featuring a purple glow on the bottom of each section to outline where it all is. Above it is four giant monitors, which appear to be displaying different screens. While it's not possible to see the back two, The front left one appears to show Funtime Foxy and what seems to be Glamrock Chica, while the front right one appears to be a race scene of some kind.
However, Roxy's Raceway extends further, through several hallways. Two of said hallways have been revealed.
In what appears to be the main hallway into the area, several racing-themed equipment is seen. A small, green and red motorbike can be seen displayed on a pedestal on the right side of the hallway. The tires have a neon pink light coming from them. To the right of the bike, an image of Roxanne is visible. Behind the bike, a wall full of tires and steering wheels is seen. While most of them stick to the usual black color scheme, one stands out as a green steering wheel. Above it, several other parts can be seen, although the lighting makes it hard to see what they are. Lining the hallway is six pillars, each equipped with a pink light on the top and bottom, alongside a curvy streak up the front of them to reveal more light. On each side, the back two contain a display of smaller tires.
To the left side of the hall, an orange and blue car is hanging from the ceiling. Two ATMs are lined up between the front and middle pillars, and on the far left another pedestal is seen. The pedestal contains several trophies, presumably from racing, alongside art of Roxanne waving a flag. The ceiling is fit with a starry appearance, reflecting several lights from elsewhere in the room. On the sides of the hallway, the stars are instead replaced with a reflective metal tiling. This metal tiling is also applied to the floor.
Directly in the center of the flooring is a red carpet, with a pattern that's hard to make out. On the carpet is a sign, with the words ROXY RACEWAY alongside art of Roxanne in a race car.
All in all, it was one of the largest attractions in the entire world and by far, the WORST place to allow a sink hole to remain.
Sighing, Xero shook his head, once again wondering just how in the name of all that was good and holy, did these people stay in business, let alone get approval for this shit. Sighing again, Xero narrowed his eyes, looking around as he stepped off the stair entrance, "Now, if i was a hidden entrance, where would I be?" He thought for a moment, before he snapped his fingers, "Construction site."
Making his way to said site, he found it and while it was blocked by wired fences, he was able to easily tear through them with his supernatural strength. For some reason it had a Chica painted figure on it, but Xero ultimately ignored it as irrelevant. After climbing down several scaffolder, he arrived at the lone elevator. Xero noted how beat up and damaged it was with the lone generator, desperately trying to keep it alive.
Statement
"Yeah, i know this thing only has enough power for one trip." Without even stopping in his stride, he punched the Freddy shaped button, sending the elevator down towards its final destination, "It will be difficult, but we can find a way out, once we deal with Afton. If nothing else, we can use his corpse as a way to boost us up and out of here."
Delight
"Yeah, i thought you like that." Nothing else was said, as the elevator stopped with a loud DING and opened up for him to see everything. Which wasn't very much, mostly rock, destroyed equipment and even a few endoskeletons next to a couple of generators that seemed to power...something. Cassidy wasn't very sure, as he made his way towards Afton's hidden lair and when he found the entrance, he wasn't even surprised by what it was.
The old Pizzeria.
How fitting.
Still, Xero always liked to make an entrance and with that thought, he drew his leg back, adding some Yoki for a little kick, he KICKED the old, double doors down with enough force to send them flying into the old building, "AFTON! CAME OUT AND FACE ME, YOU BASTARD!"
Yeah, making an entrance.
But instead of hearing something, anything, all he got in response was silence. That made him frown, in Xero's experience, the bad guys can't help but monologue their evil plan and or say how they weren't the bad guys, he was. Most of the time, it was like some sort of psychological need for them to do so and while Xero would never complain, as it left the idiots wide open for attack, not hearing was worrying.
The rare few that didn't, proved to be the deadliest and smartest.
Walking through the molding, decaying former popular restaurant, Xero spotted all kinds of wiring connecting to Twins knows what and it worried him greatly. However, there on the lone workbench, was a piece of metal Xero knew very well as it was one of the rarest metals on Earth.
"Oh no." He spoke to himself, as he picked up the Adamantium piece of metal. A lone, slip piece of metal that made him wonder just how much of the stuff did the bastard have. The fact the ground had a written runic circle that was meant for siphoning magical power from any intended target and even meant to act as a bounded field of sorts. One meant to cut off any and all magical power that was not within the circle itself.
...And a pair of charging wires, hanging from the ceiling in the middle of said circle.
"Where the hell is-"
"!"
Xero didn't have any time to think, before he turned around and the last thing he saw before something crashed into him, sending him upward, was a pair of dark, red eyes.
Present Time
"Master/Xero!"
Both Servants and humans alike, ignoring everyone else, begin to fire or attack the giant blob of wires, broken parts and dreams. With a combination of magical attacks and lethal shots fire, the large, wired beast backed off with a roar of pain, as Xero climbed out of the crater hole, with Gregory and Vanessa making a beamline for him, as were the animatronics and his wives, but he held his hand up, "All of you stay back!"
"But darling-" Tamamo Caster tried to speak but Xero cut her off.
"Stay back!"
Just then, everyone heard the sound of laughing. It sounded mechanical but it was laughter nevertheless, as the heavy foot falls of an robot were heard and from behind the massive blob like creature, revealed the one behind everything, "Oh really, you Mazoku's are so fucking predictable." The new form Afton had taken, looked like a male, bulkier version of Roxanne Wolf, "Really, i couldn't have done it better myself, even if i tried."
It was clearly a robotic but a very real looking wolf animatronic. His new body was that an anthropomorphic silvery-white wolf with an elongated snout, a gray "mask" marking on his face, sharp teeth, and large, round eyes that have jet black sclera and bright red irises that glow when he's excited. He wears a black cloak with a built-in hood, and brown trousers under the cloak. He also has brownish-gray wraps around his wrists, hiding the servos under them and calves, and carries a pair of razor-sharp sickles. Despite how lifelike he looked, one could tell he was a machine, based on the servos and the plastic like facial features he had on his face, similar to Roxy yet more advanced.
"Freeze mutants!" One of the MRD members yelled, all their guns pointing at Xero, his group and Afton.
"And look at this, we have an audience to see the demise of the great 'Phantom Xero' and the destruction of the Mazoku bloodline." The undead man said, ignoring the all the guns aimed at, "Oh i have been waiting for this day for more than a decade boy."
"I said freeze!" The same MRD soldier yelled, as Afton gained an evil grin and with a wave of his hand, a lightning bolt strike down from the heavens, hitting the soldier and completely disintegrating him into ash, much to the shock and horror of everyone around him, save for the caster himself.
"Andy!" One of his buddies yelled, glaring at the wolf, "You Goddamn fucking son of a bit-"
SLENCH
Only for Afton to appear behind him in a flash of lighting and with one twist, sliced his and those around him, heads off. The other soldiers, both from the MRD and the several from the other compains all shot at him, only for the robotic wolf to vanish in another flash of lighting. He reappeared right back in his original position, laughing like the devil himself, as he flicked the blood of his blades.
"HehehahHAHAHAHAHA! Magnificent! Absolutely magnificent! THIS! THIS IS THE POWER I HAVE BEEN SREACHING FOR AND IT'S ALL THANKS TO YOU BOY!" Afton allowed the magical lighting, colored a black outline with a purple inner core, "While i might not be able to get your mother for what she did to me, making her son suffer in her place is the best thing."
"Reed, am i the only one seeing this?" Ben Grimm aka The Thing asked his leader, as the taller man spoke.
"No, you're not Ben and even I'm having a hard time believing it." Mister Fantastic said, as Tony, finding his voice and courage finally spoke up.
"Hey, big bad wolf, what could his mother have done to make you son angry you'd want vengeance on him?" Tony called out, ignoring Pepper and Obi's attempts to get him to come back, "She didn't have any dinner or grandmas for you to imposter?"
"Ah yes, Anthony Edward 'Tony' Stark, the greatest blunder in world." The mechicial wolf turned his bloody red eyes towards him, a cruel grin on his face, "For one of the smartest men on the planet, you and Richards think you've figured reality out, when in reality, you know nothing." Waving his head, another figured emerged from the Mega Pizza-Plex: Vanny.
"What?" Vanessa gasped in horror, as Gregory looked at her and then the white bunny, as did the Glamrocks. Weren't they one and the same?!
"But take heart Stark, thanks to you, i will finally transcend life and death. To become a true immortal, all because his dear mother had locked me in that room and stuffed me in that damn spring Bonnie suit for FOURTEEN GODDAMN YEARS!" Afton yelled the last part, his forcefully acquired magic spiraling around him like a tornado, "Hehehe, but honestly, for all the pain you've caused me, i must thank you. Because of her, i died and came back as Springtrap, discovering the means to becoming immortal. And now, once i kill you, i'll kill the rest of these fuckers and continue with my research. And to think, i never would have discovered any of this, had it not been for you and your dear mother, Mazoku. So as thanks, YOU will become my living battery, the very thing that will power this body for a hundred lifetimes."
"Yeah no, i don't think so." Xero crouched down, planting his hand on the ground, as he begins to unleash his recently unlocked mana, sending a wave of blue/purple energy all around them, much like a tidal wave of water would do only with magic, "LET'S TAKE THIS ELSEWHERE!"
"Hey, what are you doing brat?!" Afton demanded, as everyone felt the ground shake and then with a blinding light, making everyone shield their eyes until the light died down. Once they uncovered them, they were all greeted with a shocking sight.
Gone was the Mega Pizza-Plex, gone was the city of Detroit and gone was any sign of the twenty first century.
In its place were the ruins of a once proud civilization, surrounded by a large desert with many golden ruins littering the place and the sun was highest in the sky. As for Xero himself?
He remained where he was, only now he had changed from his odd outfit to a suit of dark armor and his hair was tied up in a thick, long braid. The armor itself utilizes a combination of torn chainmail and ancient Byzantine armor for protection. Runic symbols are etched onto the armor and adorn the thick fabric underskirt and buttons. As a base layer, Xero wears a red knitted fabric long-sleeve shirt and boot wraps. Salvaged bear pelts are repurposed into a fur tunic, skirt and boot accents to keep warm. Combined with brown leather pants and boots, and gloves made of deer hide, this ensemble prepares adventurers for traversing through rough terrain. Worn leather straps and a gun holster with gold Byzantine buckles finish the look by providing easy access to gear. The chest plate had a red symbol on it, within a spiked circle was a howling wolf. On his back however stood out the most, as it had a massive, gray claymore blade with a two spiked handle and the same symbol at the base of the blade's spine.
The mech-wolf looked angrily at Xero, "What have you done?"
"Just took us somewhere we won't be interrupted." Xero said simply, as he summoned Harvester to his hands, before looking back at his Servants, "Caster, you and the rest of them protect everyone. This is between me and him."
"Is that an order?" Morgan asked, not happy at being benched so easily, as Xero said simply.
"Do i need to make it one?" Morgan said nothing but huffed none the less. Taking that as a yes, he looked to the BSAA team, "Chirs, think you and your team can hold Bob the Blob off me, while i deal with Afton?"
"Click. Considered it done."
"And I'll take Vanny." Gudako said, grabbing her Phoenix Blade and entered Fire Force State, causing her hair to ignite a fiery red and glowing red aura around her as equally large fiery wings appeared around her back. She cast an eye at a nervous Bruce, "Bruce, if we need the Hulk, we'll let you know but for now, stay back."
"Oh, trust me, i would love nothing more than that." He really, really did not want to make things worse by turning the big guy lose. But if they needed him, he'd be right here. He just hoped it didn't come to that.
"Sensei, we-"
"YOU will stay out of this." Xero spoke over Vi, as he gave them a hard stare, "This is my fight and honestly i don't know what other tricks he has up his selvee but I don't want to put you nor Powder at risk of being taken over by the bastard. Besides, as i said before, this is between me and him. Do NOT interfere." With this said, Xero slipped into a fighting stance, bending his knees with his scythes behind his back, as Afton merely chuckled, twirling his sickles.
"Hehe, this is going to be fun."
Then, like a bell had been rung, Xero and Afton charged at one another, as did Vanny and Gudako, locking blades at the same time.
CLING
THE FINAL BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF FREEDY FAZBEAR BEGINS.
Done and whew, hot damn this are really going to heat up next chapter. Would have been done with this sooner, but i skinned my finger up, hindering my ability to write. Boy the first few days were so fucking annoying and driving me mad, as i couldn't do anything with my right hand, without feeling pain in my finger.
Thank God it's finally healed up enough for me to type.
So, this chapter has been pretty good chucky and long with plenty of lore drops and the real reason why Afton lured Xero back to the Mega Pizza-Plex: Revenge and to make Xero a battery/power source for his new body.
Or is it?
Who knows, but i can tell you for this certain, is that you will find out next chapter. Also, i figured out what i'm going to do with my Xbox situation and what to get, an Xbox one or SX and i decided to go with the Xbox One.
Mostly because i already planned to get it from the very beginning and i have experince with it, so fuck it, i'll go with it. Anyway, the confrontation between Xero and Afton, along with everyone else was very hard for me to write, as i wasn't sure what to put and decided to have everyone reactions and thoughts next chapter, as the fight scene should take up a good chunk of the chapter, but not all of it. Needless to say, a lot it going to happen next chapter.
Not much else to say, so hope you all enjoyed it.
Till next time my lovely peeps!
Devil out!
