Authors Note: This is also my first time writing anything at all so if the format is weird or if my writing/grammar isn't good that's why lol.

It was late at night with Roxanne and Cassie still on the run after escaping the rundown Pizzaplex not too long ago. Now they were slowly walking down a dark street in a small neighborhood avoiding street lamps like the plague and making sure not to be seen by any passing cars

"He did what?! H-he just left you?!" Roxanne was surprised she thought Gregory and Cassie were best friends.

"mm hmm *sniff* h-he said something like "we can't risk being followed" *sniff* and he shut off the elevator…" Cassie, on the verge of tears, was telling Roxanne about Gregory and what happened in that elevator, and why Roxanne found Cassie unconscious on the ground.

Roxanne, still very damaged and unable to see got down on her knees and hugged Cassie, and tried her best to comfort the scared little girl. "Hey, don't cry! I'm here for you, and we're going to make it through this together! I promise…"

"I just……*sniff* I just don't know what to do now…I feel so… beaten, and lost…."

"Well I know what we're going to do! We are going to get as far away from that evil place as we can! Get you home where it's safe! And we are going to forget about Gregory and find you new friends! I'm going to help you throughout it all every step of the way! Now how does that sound, Rockstar?"

Roxanne's voice sounded proud and confident as she spoke, for the first time in a while Roxy felt…happy and confident like there was nothing in this world that could stop her from protecting Cassie.

Cassie calmed down, took Roxanne's hand and they continued walking. To say the walk was long would be an understatement and to say Cassie's feet hurt would be the understatement of the year. Roxanne felt bad for her, she felt like she wasn't doing enough for her and if she wasn't relying on her to lead her to her home Roxanne would have offered to carry her.

"Well, Roxy, we're here….."

Roxanne, still in thought, didn't hear what Cassie had said and continued walking forward. She couldn't believe what had happened to her. Betrayed like that by her only "friend" and on her birthday too as if her last one wasn't already bad enough "That little…troll" was the worst she could say about him until her profanity filter could be switched off "How could he do that?! The thought of him doing that to Cassie of all people enraged her but all her anger went away as she felt a light tug on her arm, it was Cassie.

"Hmm? Oh, what do you need Cassie?"

"We're here Roxy. My Home…….."

As they were approaching the door Roxanne became increasingly more nervous as the thought of having to explain everything to Cassie's parents became more and more real. *Cassie let out a sigh as she moved the doormat over and picked up the house key, and opened the door. The door slowly creaked open as Cassie walked in and turned some of the lights on, Roxanne could hear that no one else was home and was confused.

"Cassie? If this is your home, where are your parents?"

Cassie let out another sigh as she put her Roxanne Wolf 'Roxytalkie' on the kitchen counter and sat on the couch.

"Well my dad said he would be at work on a business trip working on some sort of VR game, I don't know what being an engineer and mechanic has to do with game development but whatever………and my mom, well ... ..we…I don't like talking about her."

Roxanne carefully walked through the house making sure not to bump into anything and being careful not to knock anything over, She finally made her way to the living room and sat next to Cassie. Cassie then leaned her head onto Roxanne's arm, Roxanne then wrapped her arm around her, she could feel how tired and scared she was.

"Everything will be okay Cassie, if you don't want to talk about your mother that's fine, just know I will always protect you no matter what and I will always be there for you through thick and thin. And if your parents were here right now she would be super proud of you"

Roxanne's heart or what she could call a heart sank at the thought of Cassie having to live alone like this, with no mother and a Father having to raise her alone who probably wasn't around much made her very sad as more questions flooded her CPU then she wished to ask.

"Roxy?"

"Yes Cassie?"

"What if………what if that……thing, from the sinkhole…….what if it escapes and finds us?"

"That thing will never escape and like I said before I will never let anything hurt you Cassie and I won't leave your side ever! I promise."

Roxanne's voice was firm she was not going to let anything happen to Cassie

"But what if you're not enough….what if….what if."

Cassie's tears began well up in her eyes.

"shhh hush….calm down Cassie you don't need to worry about that you should be asleep Cassie it's getting late."

"I'm just so…….so happy you're with me."

Roxanne smiled and patted the little girls head being careful not to hurt her.

"Hey, how can you tell the time if your eyes don't work? Last time I checked you need eyes to read a clock."

Cassie said with a little bit of sass and slight frustration inside her voice as the thought of bedtime entered her mind, Roxanne giggled at her question.

"haha….well the Fazbear engineers installed internal clocks into all of the animatronics at the Pizzaplex after Monty accidentally overslept and missed showtime once."

Cassie laughed at her story

"Really?! Is that true? Or are you pulling on my leg as my dad would say?"

"It's 100% true Cassie, I was there y'know"

Cassie and Roxanne both laughed.

"Goofy little Gator…." Cassie said still giggling

"yeah…..goofy little gator…" Roxanne said with a tiny bit of sadness in her voice

Roxanne sighs as she still feels bad for having to leave all her friends behind Chica, Freddy, and Monty. As Cassie yawns and rubs her tired eyelids she gets up to turn the lights off. After that, she laid her head down on one of the couch pillows and pulled a nearby blanket over herself.

"Goodnight Roxy….."

"Goodnight Cassie, sweet dreams."

Roxanne turns on sleep mode and power's herself down for the night, hoping Cassie wouldn't have any nightmares and get some much-needed rest after all she had gone through today.

Gregory tossed and turned in his bed, he couldn't sleep he had this feeling in his stomach like a black hole that would eventually eat him whole

"ugh! Why can't I sleep?" Gregory said out loud with frustration in his voice. Freddy woke up with his severed head resting on Gregory's bedside table

"Gregory! What are doing you still up? Vanessa said it was my responsibility to make sure you were in bed by 9 pm sharp and now it's 11:47 pm!"

Freddy sounded just as frustrated as Gregory but was also super calm and not mad at him. Gregory turned around and and looked at the ceiling then looked back at Freddy.

"Im sorry Freddy….I'll try and go back to sleep.."

Freddy looked at Gregory and smiled

"Don't be sorry I'm just trying to help!"

Freddy spoke with confidence and pride because he felt that if we wasn't he'd be failing Gregory in some way. Gregory looks back up at the ceiling.

"Goodnight Freddy…"

"Goodnight Superstar!"

Freddy turned on his sleep mode and powered down for the night one last time.

Gregory can't stop thinking about what he did to Cassie it was eating up his insides like a disease he thought what he did was right he did it for his found family in Freddy and Vanessa or that's what he kept telling himself "No" he thought to himself "what I did was right because if that 'thing' ever escaped who knows how many people would have gotten hurt" "but……did I really need to sacrifi-" he cut himself off he couldn't believe what he almost just said no words could properly work in that context. He then started to drift off to sleep but before he did he said to himself…..

"I hope she's okay….."

To be continued…
