The final puppet had finally been turned back to normal, and the witch ran off to join the large crowd of the other freed civilians. The Collector dusted off his hands happily, and turned to Lilith with a smile on his face... That Lilith did not return, and simply averted her eyes from his gaze.

"So, we did it Lily! Everyone's back to-" The Collector was cut off as Lilith swiftly turned to him, "Don't call me that. Just Lilith is fine." she interrupted.

"Um, okay... Lilith. We've turned everyone back to normal! Isn't that great?" The Collector exclaimed, looking at Lilith expectantly.

"It's a start. We still have the Isles that you nearly destroyed to rebuild." Lilith reminded him.

The Collector simply nodded, though he hid his slight disappointment at Lilith brushing him off. He was trying, couldn't she see that?

"But that'll be easy! We got-" The Collector began, only for Lilith to interrupt him again.

"No, it won't be easy. Especially with how much damage YOU caused to the Isles in the first place!" Lilith exclaimed, clear distain in her voice.

The Collector winced a bit from Lilith's tone. He didn't understand why she was being so hostile towards him. The Collector knew that he did a lot of bad things, but he regretted doing them and was trying to make up for it.

"I-I was just saying because we have everyone back to normal... We'll have a lot of help!" The Collector explained.

Lilith seemed to acknowledge his statement, but didn't say anything in response as she turned to look at the crowd. After a moment, Amity came back up from the crowd and over to Lilith and the Collector.

"So, everyone's back to normal now?" She asked the two, to which they both nodded.

"Yes, from what we can tell..." Lilith said, before sighing, "...Except for one that is missing".

Amity was concerned, one of the puppets was missing?

"Which puppet's gone?" Amity inquired.

"We couldn't find the weird owl tube thin-" The Collector began, before Lilith swiftly turned to him.

"His name is Hootsifer!" She snapped, making the Collector shut up.

"Oh... Him." Amity said, surprised.

She remembered Hooty, assuming that's who Lilith was referring to. She thought he had just sorta, vanished, after the events of the Day of Unity.

"Where could he have gone? It's not like he could have gotten far... Especially if he got turned into a puppet." Amity remarked.

"We have no idea, we've searched everywhere in the Archives..." Lilith explained, sighing once again as she looked down.

"I see. Well, I'm sure he'll turn up eventually!" Amity reasoned, trying to cheer Lilith up.

It seemed to do the trick as Lilith took a deep breath, and looked back up at her old pupil.

"You're right. I'm sure he will eventually." Lilith paused, "Come on, let's go check on my sister".

Amity nodded, "Yeah, let's go. Collector, would you mind giving us a ride?" she asked the star child.

But she didn't get an answer, as the Collector was lost in thought, seemingly trying to remember something.

"Collector? You okay?" Amity asked him, as he finally seemed to realize she was talking to him.

"Oh! Yeah, I'm fine. Here, you can take a star." The Collector replied, snapping his fingers as a star platform manifested in front of the three.

"What about you? Aren't you coming?" Amity inquired, as she and Lilith climbed onto the star.

"I'll catch up. Just got to go check on something really quick." The Collector explained, glancing back at the doors leading further into the Archives.

"Fine, but don't take too long." Lilith told him.

She didn't trust the Collector enough to leave him to his own devices for a long period of time.

"I won't! See you at the Bird House!" The Collector said in response, before flying off through the doors.

"...The Bird House?" Amity asked no one in particular, confused.

"I'm not going to question it. Let's just go." Lilith said.

Amity shrugged as the star platform took off out one of the open windows.

"Oh come on! You can take on a Witch Hunter possessing a Titan, but you can't lift a door?!" Eda exclaimed, exasperated as Luz struggled to hold up the front door.

"Curse my weak nerd arms!" Luz yelled.

After everything she's gone through, she was kinda disappointed her arms could still barely lift anything. She could at the very least hold her girlfriend; though she reasoned that was probably either in the heat of the dance, or the fact Amity seemingly weighed less than a chicken.

"Lift with your legs!" King advised, still sitting on the nest.

"Oh, like how you're doing?" Eda replied sarcastically. "I'm supervising! And I'm doing a really good job!" King said, moving in the nest to get more comfortable.

Eda and Luz rolled their eyes, as they finally managed to get the door up against the frame.

"Oh Titan, finally!" Eda exhaled, as Raine and Camila quickly got to work reattaching the door hinges.

"Couldn't we have used a door-fixing glyph thing for this?" Camila asked as she reattached the bottom hinge.

Although Luz had taught her how to do a couple of the glyphs, she didn't know much about what types there were, or even how many there were.

"You know, we could probably find a glyph pattern that would actually be able to do that." Eda remarked, leaning against the doorframe.

"Hey yeah! We could..." Luz trailed off when she realized something.

She took a piece of paper out from her pocket and quickly scribbled a light glyph on it. She put her hands together with it in the middle. Nothing. Her eyes widened slightly, and she did it again. Nothing. Then it hit her, the Titan's soul had finally passed on. Thus, all the magic of the glyphs that his soul had given the Isles... Passed on with him.

She sighed as she looked at the glyph in her hand. Luz had spent so much time learning to use the glyphs, and yet it seemed like now it was for nothing.

She had learned the Titan's language, but now she had no one to speak it to.

"Wait, do the glyphs no longer work?" Raine inquired, noticing Luz's struggle to use a light glyph.

The human sighed in response, "I'm afraid you're right." she replied.

"Ah, I'm sure the other people of the Isles will take that well." Eda remarked, sarcasm in her tone.

"Mhm..." Luz said quietly, not even looking up from the non-working glyph in her hand.

"You gonna be okay kiddo?" Eda asked, "Yeah... I think so." Luz responded.

She felt something on her leg, and looked down to see King hugging her. She smiled thankfully at the little Titan, and patted his head.

"Thanks King." Luz said, crouching down to his level to return the hug.

"Well, I could go for another swig of Apple Blood after all this work." Eda said, walking inside.

"You had six bottles while we were working." Camila deadpanned, following her inside with the others.

Eda laid back down onto the nest, and picked up a new bottle of Apple Blood. "Yeah well, let's make it seven." She took a swig, downing half the bottle in the process.

As Camila shook her head, the five heard the familiar sound of something landing outside.

"That must be the Collector!" King said, recognizing the sound of the star platform.

Instead, in walked Amity and Lilith.

"Hey, look who it is!" Eda exclaimed happily, not getting up from her nest. "Oh Edalyn! It's good to see you're alright!" Lilith replied with a smile.

"By alright, you mean alive, then yeah." Eda remarked, finishing off the bottle.

"So Sweet Potato, is everyone back to normal?" Luz asked her girlfriend.

Amity nodded, "Yep! Well... Almost everyone." she answered as Lilith averted her eyes with a sigh.

"Oh cheer up sis, I'm sure Hooty will turn up eventually." Eda assured Lilith.

"Wait, how did you know Hootsifer was the one missing?" Lilith inquired, "Because you aren't carrying him in your arms." Eda deadpanned.

Lilith sighed again, "If you keep sighing like that, you're going to lose consciousness." Amity remarked.

"I just don't know where he could have ended up..." Lilith said, ignoring Amity's comment.

"I do!" Everyone turned to see the Collector standing in the doorway, his hands holding something behind his back.

"Oh, hey Collector!" King waved from the nest.

"Hey King!" The Collector replied back, keeping his smile.

"What are you holding behind your back?" Luz inquired.

"Is it more Apple Blood?" Eda asked, looking up from her nest.

"No! It's this!" The Collector pulled out a familiar puppet connected to a wooden bird house.

"HOOTSIFER!" Lilith exclaimed, smiling excitedly as she rushed over.

"I found him stuffed under a loose tile in the Archive House!" The Collector explained, holding the puppet out to Lilith.

"Oh right, that's what I did with him..." Eda remembered.

She had stuffed him under the tiled floor under a fake tile in one of the Archive halls to make sure he wasn't accidentally destroyed if things went south.

Titan, was Eda happy she made that decision.

The Collector took off the magical sticker on Hooty's forehead, and after a moment he returned to his normal form... Having a near anime-like blush on his face.

"Lulu..?" Hooty whispered as he blinked.

"Yes! Hootsifer! It's me!" Lilith smiled.

Hooty sprung out from his Porta-Hooty pack and wrapped around Lilith lovingly.

"Hoot! I missed you so much!" Hooty exclaimed. Lilith laughed as she was wrapped in Hooty's coils. "I missed you too Hootsifer!" Lilith responded.

The Collector smiled at the sight. He was happy to have cheered Lilith up and turned everyone back to normal, it was just too bad he had decided he was going to-

"Hey Collector." Amity interrupted the star child's thoughts.

"Oh, hey Amity!" The Collector replied.

"So, that's the thing you needed to do?" Amity said as she gestured at Hooty, who was now talking to Camila.

She looked rather taken aback by the appearance of Hooty.

"Yeah! Lilith said she was worried about the bird tube, so I searched the whole Archives for him!" The Collector explained, "I'm happy I managed to make her happy".

Amity smiled at him, before noticing he had a plush in his hands. "Oh, who's that?" She asked, "This is Francois! He's King's stuffed rabbit!" The Collector said happily, holding Francois up proudly before hugging the plush.

Amity couldn't help but giggle. She had to admit the Collector was pretty cute when he wasn't trying to turn people into puppets. Amity always did have a soft spot for children.

"He looks nice!" Amity said, making the Collector smile.

"Thanks!" He replied, "You know, I'm just happy I could make up for at least some of the bad things before I left".

Amity blinked, not sure if she heard him right. "Sorry, what?" She asked.

The Collector sighs, "Well, while I was looking for Hooty... I noticed a lot of the people that had been puppets were giving me glares, and whispering about me".

Amity grimaced a bit. She had a feeling that the Collector wouldn't have been the most popular person around after what had happened in the last few months. There was a good chance that by now the people of the Boiling Isles knew very well WHO exactly gave Belos the instructions on how to do the Draining Spell.

"So you're just leaving?" Amity asked, the Collector nodded.

"Yeah... I think I have a lot of growing up to do." He said.

"Where will you even go?" Amity inquired.

She didn't know where the Collector even CAME from, let alone where he would disappear off to.

"To where I came from: The stars." The Collector answered.

Okay, Amity wasn't expecting that answer.

He literally came from the stars? Well, seeing as he could fly and his main theme seemed to be stars and moons, she guessed that made sense.

"The stars? Like, up in the sky?" Amity inquired, to which the Collector nodded.

"Yeah, but don't worry. There's a lot of stars up there, I'll have a LOT of company".

Amity guessed the Collector had a point, there were millions of stars in the sky. But wait, could he like talk to stars or something? She looked back to where the Collector had been standing to ask more, but he was gone.

Amity looked around and eventually saw him talking to King over at Eda's nest.

"...So I just wanted to give him back to you before I left." The Collector handed Francois to King.

"Oh, well thanks..." King said, still surprised by the Collector's sudden urge to leave.

The Collector nodded, before turning and beginning to walk towards the door. He had almost made it to the doorway when he heard King grunt a bit as he got out of the nest, and rushed over to him.

King surprised the Collector by hugging him, "I hope I see you again, real soon." he told the star child.

The Collector felt a smile of happiness crawl onto his face, and he hugged back. They soon parted from the hug, and King surprised the Collector yet again by holding out Francois.

"Here, take him. He can keep you company up there." King told him, "Really? You're letting me take him?" the Collector asked, as he held Francois in his hands.

"Yes. Under one condition, you take care of him... And you promise to come visit." King replied.

The Collector smiled, "I promise." he said.

With that, the Collector walked out of the Owl house. He got onto a star platform, looked back at King and the others one final time, before taking off toward the sky. It wasn't long until he was completely out of sight. King simply looked off at the now empty sky, before Amity joined him outside.

"You think he'll be okay up there?" She asked, "I hope he will. I'm gonna miss him. Both of them." King replied.

"Come on, let's head back inside. We got a LOT to talk about with the others." Amity remarked, leading King back inside.

Before he closed the door, King looked at the sky one final time.

"Keep him safe Francois, I'm counting on you..." King told no one in particular.

He closed the door behind him as he went inside.

Meanwhile, at the ruins of the Emperor's Castle, the remains of Belos were left splattered on the floor.

Once a proud Witch Hunter who had everything planned out, now reduced to a lifeless puddle of sludge in the dirt.

Suddenly, there was a faint rumble, before a small crack in the earth appeared.

The sludge soon flowed down into the crack, until it had all but vanished into the darkness. All was silent...

...except for the very faint but audible sound of a slow heartbeat, coming from inside the crack.
