SPOILERS FOR ALL OF GOOD OMENS! BEWARE!
I own no rights to Good Omens! If I did, I wouldn't be laying on my bed, grippers out, writing a fanfiction 3
Enjoy!
"I-I forgive you." Aziraphale blurted out. Silence hung in the air like church bells after 3pm.
"Don't bother" Crowley said, his eyes failing just short of meeting the blue irises in front of him. "C-Crowley- '' But it was too late, the familiar creek of the bookshop door closing mocked him as Crowley's steps disappeared into the crowded streets of London. The door shut and Aziraphale was alone, but everything was so loud. The pit in his stomach spoke volumes, something was wrong.

The sound of the front door opening again only added to the throbbing in his head causing Aziraphale to squeeze his eyes shut.
"Aziraphale? Are you ready to go?" A gruff voice broke through the noise. The pain stopped suddenly.
"Ah... go where? Oh yes! Heaven!" Aziraphale looked around the bookshop a final time.
"I was just... what was I..." It's so fuzzy...
"You were just" Metatron began "telling me about how excited you are to have been granted a position as the new Supreme archangel!" Metatron smile was unsettling why…
"Yes! I'm ready to see to my new position in Heaven!"
Metatron smirked. "Follow me Aziraphale, this way to the elevator." The two angels walked to the dirty donkey pub towards the illuminated white box that is their elevator to Heaven. Why does it all...
"If it's alright with me asking, what do you need my help with in heaven?" Aziraphale asked, hesitantly standing just outside of the elevator.
"Something I think you'll be perfect for Aziraphale, it's a project we're calling, The Second Coming." Feel wrong...
Crowley drove. He didn't know where he was going, he didn't care.
He didn't run any red lights, what was the point if he wasn't racing to see his angel. He always hated how Aziraphale would tell him to be more careful on the road, that idiot didn't realize he was the reason Crowley was always driving so recklessly. There was no point anymore.
He avoided looking out of his side windows. The worst part about knowing someone for so long is everything ends up reminding you of them, and Aziraphale was everywhere. Birch bark is his hair, soft, curly and white. The sky is his eyes, blue and vast, never empty. Daisy petals are his wings, the soft feathers that budded from them. Clovers are... Were his lips.
Crowley put his free hand up to his mouth, he savored the feeling of their kiss and fantasized it had been returned. He drove like that for a while. He felt if anything were to remind him of reality it would be too much. And then it rained, and somehow, even in his Bentley, droplets fell onto his lap.
Crowley stopped the Bentley in the middle of the road and sobbed, his back heaved as the salty tears ran down his cheeks. He could hear car horns being honked at him, but he didn't care. Those people couldn't be having a worse day than him. Grabbing a bottle of whiskey from under his seat, he got out of the Bentley and slammed the door behind him. He took off his glasses and threw them on the ground, stomping on them.
"Why?" he asked defeatedly looking up into the sky. "Why did you take the one thing away from me that I cared about?" He stretched his arms out to either side of him.
"What gave you the right to ruin our lives? It took us 6000 years to get to where we are now, and you stole ALL OF THAT away from us. What lesson are we supposed to learn from this huh? What is this supposed to teach me?" Crowley waited for an answer that would never come.
"I can't live without him." He looked down at his whiskey and opened it, taking a swig he walked into the forest. "Don't follow me." He said to his Bentley without looking back.
