Dean was finishing with printing copies of the documents Mr. Novak's receptionist had given him on his way out of the office when he'd heard a noise behind him.

Spinning around, he was surprised to see Mr. Novak leaning against the doorway to the small room he was in, his rather slim body looking intimidating in that stance.

"I'm just about done here, Mr. Novak," Dean picked up one of the copies fresh out of the printer and held it out for him to see, to which the man nodded in reply.

"Please call me Castiel, I honestly can't stand people addressing me by my last name..." Castiel took a step into the room, closing the bit of space between them.

"Ok, Mr...uh... Castiel," Dean responded shyly, reaching up to rub the back of his neck to tamp down his nerves. He couldn't help that he found the man attractive, but he'd be damned if he'd let that screw up this job.

"I came down here for something, and now for the life of me can't remember what," Castiel gave a chuckle and fuck, did that sound go straight to Dean's dick. He seriously needed to have a talk with himself later about that.

"Oh well, would you care to join me back to my office?" Castiel questioned as he turned to leave the room, assuming Dean was behind him. He smiled when he heard Dean gathering the copies before quickly rushing to keep up with him.

"So uh, when's lunch time around here?" Dean asked, taking stride beside Castiel. He glanced down at his wristwatch and saw it was only five minutes til eleven, his stomach growled and he hoped Castiel couldn't hear.

"I usually take my lunch around one, but I believe there's a staff kitchen on my floor..." Castiel began, glancing sideways at Dean.

"I imagine you could get something to hold you off til then," he added when Dean gave him a questioning look, those green eyes catching Castiel's attention.

He had to remind himself this was Dean's first day and he couldn't risk losing him as an assistant, he'd only known the man for less than two hours and was already ogling him.

"If it isn't an issue, I'll grab a snack and then maybe join you for lunch?" Dean proposed, eyes still looking up at Castiel, who had an inch or two of height on Dean.

"I know a great place just down the block," Castiel had answered without thinking, he mentally smacked himself for that one but quickly gave Dean a smile.

They reached the elevator and entered together, Castiel hit the button for the eighth floor, it was one level above them. Dean stepped towards the back, putting as much space between them as possible.

Castiel turned his back to the doors and looked up at Dean, mesmerized by how good looking he was. He took the few steps towards Dean, unable to stop himself and placed his hands on the bar behind Dean on either side of his body.

Dean stared up into Castiel's gorgeous blue eyes, fighting the urge to simultaneously push him away and pull him closer against his body. The mere presence of the man was enough to drive Dean crazy.

"Castiel... What..." Dean's question was cut short by Castiel crushing his lips over Dean's so abruptly even Dean couldn't react, aside from instinctively melting into the kiss.

Only then did he remember the stack of papers he held loosely against his chest as it'd had been the only thing preventing him from pressing his body against Castiel's.

When Castiel stepped back to allow Dean to breathe, he straightened his suit jacket and looked up into Dean's eyes and smiled softly at the surprised look on his face.

Dean looked up at Castiel with hooded eyes, his lips left puffy and flushed from their kiss. His mind was screaming at him, but so was his body, his dick jumping to life as Castiel stood there looking at him.

"I do apologize, that was wrong of me... I shouldn't have..." Castiel started but the sound of papers fluttering to the floor caught his attention, and he suddenly found himself being pushed up against the elevator doors.

Dean had pinned him there, hands on his shoulders as Dean caught his lips in a heated kiss, unlike the one Castiel had just planted on Dean.

Castiel's body responded all too eagerly at the sudden action, wrapping his arms around Dean's waist to encourage him to keep going. He knew this was wrong, and normally had better restraint but damn it, Dean was unbelievably attractive.

At the sound of the elevator dinging to indicate they'd reached their destination, Dean quickly pulled himself off Castiel and bent down to pick up the papers he'd dropped. Castiel knelt down to help him, which only made Dean blush with embarrassment.

"I got it, shit... Sorry..." Dean muttered gathering up the scattered papers, ignoring how close he was to Castiel still kneeling before him. What he would do to the man in that position if the elevator doors weren't open.

"It's my fault, I..." Castiel stopped when Dean quickly placed a finger against his lips, green eyes staring intently at him. It took every ounce of restraint not to take Dean's finger into his mouth to suck the digit.

"Let's try to just forget it happened, please..." Dean straightened up to stand, Castiel following him, their eyes locked onto each other. Castiel broke the intense staring as he turned to exit the elevator.

Dean stepped out behind him, shuffling the stack of papers in his arms as he moved to follow Castiel back to his office, neither saying a word the whole time.

"Here, I'll take those and you go find something to eat," Castiel spoke once they were just outside the door to his office, he reached to take the papers from Dean.

"Um... Ok..." Dean responded without question, handing over the papers and feeling guilty some had been a little wrinkled from having dropped them.

"Take all the time you need, I'll call if I need anything," Castiel made his way through the door, letting it swing shut in Dean's face leaving him alone in the corridor.

Dean was internally screaming at himself and at Castiel, but mostly himself as he turned away from the door and marched down the corridor in search of the staff room.

He needed a distraction from whatever the hell had just happened back in the elevator, and he seriously needed to eat something as his stomach growling got louder and harder to ignore.

Dean reached the room he'd been looking for and let out a sigh of relief when he'd seen it was empty. He didn't think he had it in him to be around strangers right now, especially considering he still felt very aroused.

He stepped inside the spacious room, there was a table in the middle surrounded by folding chairs, along the back wall was a counter that held a microwave and coffee maker and in the corner was a refrigerator.

Dean stepped up to the fridge and pulled open the door, frowning when he noticed most of its contents had one name or another labeled on nearly everything.

He spotted a stack of something wrapped in foil that wasn't labeled and reached in to grab one from the small pile, smiling when he realized they were burritos. He didn't even bother to nuke it in the microwave, he simply tore into the foil and scarfed it down.

Back in the safety of his office, Castiel sank into his chair and rubbed a hand over his face and through his hair, mussing it up. What the hell did he just do? He seriously didn't know what had compelled him back in elevator.

He needed to find a way to rectify his behavior towards Dean, and ultimately apologize for assaulting him. But Dean had done nearly the same, so perhaps he didn't hate Castiel? Or did he feel like he needed to reciprocate out of fear of being fired?

Castiel leaned back into his chair and stared up at ceiling, his mind racing with thoughts while he made poor attempts to calm his libido. It hadn't exactly stopped after getting away from Dean.

A knock at his door drew Castiel from his thoughts. "Come in!" he called, his voice strained from struggling with himself. The door swung open to reveal Dean, two cans of something in one hand and something wrapped in foil in the other.

"Hey, um... I brought you something, figured it best so you don't gotta wait til lunch?" Dean offered, placing a can of what Castiel now saw was a diet soda and the foil wrap onto his desk.

Castiel managed to look up at Dean, giving him a sincere smile as he accepted the soda and food. Dean returned the smile, popping open the tab of his own soda.

For now Castiel would do as Dean had asked and do his best to not bring up earlier events, he could just hope Dean would want to discuss things when he was ready.
