Chapter 8

Jack drove as fast as he could, he shortly arrived at the Pizzaplex. He got his tools and got out of the car. He ran around the building, until he found the crane for the wrecking ball. He looked on the floor and saw a key. Jack picked it up and said: "Wonder who's the idiot that left this behind?" He climbed up to the door and opened it. He then used the key to turn the crane on.

The wrecking ball lowered, Jack grabbed the control stick and moved the wrecking ball. It swung back and forth, until it smashed the wall. "It worked! Let's go!" says Officer Mark. He and Roxy ran through the hole and out of the Pizzaplex. "Are we outside?" says Roxy. "Yes, we are." Jack jumped out of the crane and ran towards Officer Mark, Roxy and Cassie.

He stopped when he saw Roxy carrying Cassie. "Is she ok?" "She's alive, but she's hurt," says Roxy. Jack slowly picks up Cassie and holds onto her. "Cassie? Can you hear me? It's daddy. Daddy's here." Officer Mark puts a hand on Jack's back and he begins to cry. As Jack was crying, Roxy looked down and also began to cry. Officer Mark then hears sirens behind him.

He turned around and saw red and blue flashing lights approaching the Pizzaplex. "Bro? Help is here. Let's go," says Officer Mark. Jack wipes the tears away and both he and Roxy follows Officer Mark. When they reached the front door, police cars were parked outside. An ambulance had also came to the Pizzaplex. "So what happens now?" says Roxy.

Jack looked down at Cassie, and then back at Roxy. "I have a idea," he says as he gave Cassie to Officer Mark. "You take Cassie to the hospital, and I'll take Roxy." "What are you going to do?" says Officer Mark. "You're going to have to wait and see." Jack then taps Roxy on the shoulder and says: "Follow me." Roxy nodded and followed Jack to his car.

Roxy slowly got inside the car, then Jack got into the car and it drove off. The other police officers got out of their cars and said: "Is she still alive?" Officer Mark nodded and carried Cassie to the ambulance. He gave her to the paramedics, they put her on a stretcher, closed the back doors and drove off. "Please God. Let her live," says Officer Mark.

He then turned around, walked to his car, got in, and all of the police officers drove away from the Pizzaplex.
