Chapter 12
After a few minutes of talking, Jack left the hospital and drove back to his house. He parked the car in the garage and got out. He looked at Roxy and said: "As soon as Cassie gets out of the hospital, you can wake back up again." Jack walked out of the garage and sat down on the sofa. "Finally. I can have a break now." But then there was a knock on the front door.
"Oh for crying out loud." Jack sighed and stood back up again. He walked over and opened the front door. Standing outside, was a man in a business suit. The man fashioned his tie before saying: "Hello. Are you Jack?" Jack paused before saying: "Yes?" "Ah, good. I am at the right address." "Sorry, but can I help you?" The man cleared his throat before saying: "Yes you can actually. Can I come in?"
Jack stood aside and the man walked into the house. After closing the front door, Jack said: "Ok buddy, who are you? And why are you here?" The man looked confused before saying: "You don't know who I am?" Jack shook his head, the man then sighed and said: "I am the CEO of Fazbear Entertainment." Jack's face lit up, he then said: "Oh shoot! I'm so sorry sir! I didn't know..."
The CEO raised a hand and said: "No, it's ok. I understand." Jack sat down on the sofa, and the CEO sat across from him. "Again, I'm sorry. But why are you here?" says Jack. "Well, recently I've heard of a incident at one of our old sites. So I decided to look into it," says the CEO. "Do you mean the Pizzaplex?" "That's exactly what I was talking about. Now, first I heard that your daughter went into it, and barley came out again. My apologies, by the way."
"It's fine." "But what I heard next was strange." Jack gulped as he realised, the CEO knew what he did. "I was told that you led the remains of Roxanne Wolf into your car, and drove off." In a sarcastic voice, Jack said: "What? That's crazy. I would never do that." The CEO didn't look convinced, so Jack buried his head in shame. "Then I heard that the next day, you went and got replacement parts. Specifically for Roxanne Wolf."
Jack was about to say something, but the CEO interrupted him. "Let me guess. You're trying to repair Roxanne, without asking for permission." Jack nodded and the CEO said: "How close did you get?" Jack looked up and said: "I just finished a hour ago." "Oh really? Can I see?" Jack stood up and walked to the garage door. The CEO followed and walked inside.
Jack turned on the light and the CEO said: "Wow. You actually did it. So, why did you do this?" Jack sighed and said: "I did it for Cassie." "Oh? Was Roxy her favourite animatronic?" "Yeah. And since her mom left recently, I just wanted her to have a friend." "Which one was your favourite?" "Oh, mine was Bonnie." "My favourite, would have to be Freddy. I always liked the main singer in rock bands."
"Right. So does this mean I have to give Roxy back?" The CEO looked at Roxy and then back at Jack. "Actually, since you did a good job with fixing her, I will let you keep her. If you actually want to." Jack's face lit up again, he then said: "Really?" The CEO reached out a hand and said: "Consider it a raise." Jack grabbed and shook the CEO's hand. "Thank you sir." "No problem."
