"I love you, Emilia-tan," he said affectionately.

"I will never cease to love you," he declared passionately.

"I believe in you because my love for you is unwavering," he affirmed.

"I'm here for you; I love for you, and I promise to careful with your heart." he vowed tenderly.

These words and sweet nothings held a special place in the heart of the half-elf, cherished countless times by her loyal knight over the years. They provided unwavering support, inspiration, and a guiding light on her journey of self-improvement.

However, her responses to his love remained consistent.

"Subaru, thank you for your love."

"Subaru, I appreciate your patience."

As the seasons changed and years passed, the half-elf, once associated with dread and hatred, ascended to the throne. She transformed into a symbol of power, majesty, and unity, all due to the devoted love and dedication of her knight. In turn, the knight rose to prominence, becoming second only to the queen—the esteemed Prime Minister.

Yet despite their remarkable accomplishments, her answers to his love remained unchanged.

"Subaru, thank you for your love."

"Subaru, I appreciate your patience."

"I promise to understand your love, Subaru."

With time, she fulfilled this promise and learned to reciprocate the love of her knight and Prime Minister.

"I reaaally love you, Subaru," she finally confessed, a sentiment she never thought she would express.

However, the response she received was unexpected.

"Emilia, what the fuck?! It's been 20 years! I'm married now!"

"I don't like this woman, Father!"

These words pierced her heart, causing deep pain.

Had her knight moved on? Had he found another love? Had she failed?

Then came the next revelation.

"Dad, let's head home! The moms are waiting!"

"Moms are waiting?" Her emotions churned like a tempest. Could it be true? Is Subaru now involved with multiple women?

Emilia's emotions were turbulent, but she knew she had to confront her feelings and find the strength to move forward. She was a queen, strengthened by her knight's unwavering love—a pillar of support.

I must walk away. I am stronger than this. I am no longer a weak queen. I will talk to Subaru tomorrow and address this situation. It's not too late, is it? I just need to—

However, faced with her knight causing her heartache, the queen did something she thought she could never do, at least not anymore—she cried.

"Subaru, you LIAR!" she sobbed, tears streaming down her face as she tried to shield herself with her hands.

The day began perfectly, with Sunday being Natsuki Subaru's favorite day. Not only was there no work, but he also had the chance to spend it with his beloved wives and children—the ones he cherished the most.

As the prime minister, Subaru's schedule was consistently packed from Monday to Saturday.

Furthermore, his wives were busily engaged in their own significant roles, some nearby, others far away.

Complicating matters was Subaru's decision to keep his marriage to the queen a secret. Despite his wives' desire to reveal the truth, Subaru remained steadfast in his choice.

Thus, Sunday remained the sole day when the extensive family could convene with their children. In Ladrima, Subaru had constructed a spacious and cozy house with a swimming pool—a perfect setting for their gatherings.

Things appeared perfect as the wives arrived earlier than usual, while Subaru busied himself cleaning the yard. One wife couldn't attend due to prior commitments but promised to join later. The children exuded their boundless energy, occasionally creating chaos, but it was all part of the joy.

Unexpectedly, the situation took a turn when Subaru realized he had forgotten many ingredients. To avoid his wives' potential scolding, he and his son and daughter embarked on a quick shopping trip to the market.

However, fate had other plans as he encountered the queen there. Initially assuming she had official matters to discuss, he was taken aback when she professed her love for him after two decades!

"I reaaally love you, Subaru,"

Subaru was not impressed; he was absolutely infuriated! Two decades had come and gone, during which she consistently rebuffed his love, leaving him hanging. And now, she stands before him confessing her feelings? Is this some kind of sick joke?!

Amid his irritation, he accidentally let slip the secret he had so carefully concealed: his marriage to multiple women. To make the situation worse, his own son made a slip of the tongue, exposing the truth as well.

As anticipated, the queen did not take this well. Her emotions were in disarray.

"Subaru, you LIAR!" the queen sobbed, tears streaming down her face as she tried to shield herself with her hands.

Subaru was utterly shocked, and a sense of regret washed over him. What had he done? Did he just reveal his years of secrets from Emilia?

The annoyance and frustration he had felt earlier had all but disappeared, replaced by a deep sense of worry and fear.

Worry for the well-being of his queen and fear that this situation might be perceived by others in a negative light.

The last thing Subaru wanted was for a scandal to tarnish the reputation of the monarchy. He could already envision the potential tabloid headlines.

"Queen Emilia of Lagunica Reduced to Tears; Prime Minister Natsuki Subaru Suspected as Key Instigator."

"Monarchy Teetering on the Brink: A Growing Divide Between Queen and Prime Minister."

"Is the Queen Fit to Serve?"

Subaru shuddered at the mere thought. He knew he had to step in and attempt to calm the distraught half-elf, who was crying uncontrollably.

"Eh! Emilia, it's okay, don't cry," Subaru said soothingly, gently setting down Helena and moving to the side of the half-elf. He began patting her back.

"Look, I know I came off aggressively, but I was just having a rough day. I'm genuinely sorry if my words hurt you." He lied.

"You're a liar, Subaru!" the half-elf exclaimed amidst her tears, now seated on the floor, her visage a mess.

"Nice job, Dad! Really nice! Now you've made the queen cry. What kind of vassal are you?" his son Rigel scolded, shaking his head.

"Hey! I wasn't the one at fault here! Your big mouth spilled the beans about your mom's! Seriously, you're just like your grandpa—couldn't keep a secret, sheesh!" Subaru retorted, continuing to comfort the queen.

"Hey, don't bring Pop Kenichi into this! Your sorry behind caused this mess! Fix it!" Rigel shot back.

"I'm trying, you brat!" Subaru snapped, still attempting to console the distressed elf, albeit with little success.

"You call that trying? Jeez, and here I wonder why the moms always bonk you on the head," retorted the blue-haired carbon copy of Subaru, placing his groceries down and picking up his sister.

"You know what?! Why didn't Rem give you a good spanking when you were little? You're seriously a Brat!" Subaru scowled, rolling his eyes.

"Well, maybe because Mom thinks I'm usually right," the blue-haired kid grinned mischievously.

"I'll pretend I didn't hear that!" Subaru rolled his eyes once more, annoyed at his eldest son's audacity.

"Actually, I take it back, Father. This girl is too cute. Too bad she's slow. Let's take her home as entertainment," Helena chimed in with a smug smile, much like her mom.

"Uh, darling, you do realize this is the queen, right?" Subaru raised an eyebrow, giving his daughter a warning look.

"So what? Mother is an empress, and I'm the crown princess. The world tends to work in my favor, just like Mom," Helena said her smugness on full display. Her brother Rigel found it endearing.

"Come here, Helena-chan!" Rigel said, tickling his sister in his arms.

"Hahahaha! Brother Rigel, stop! Ehehehe!" Helena squealed, squirming in the half-oni's embrace.

Subaru smiled at the sight. His kids were truly a delight, a mixture of adorableness and stubbornness, much like him. However, his train of thought was interrupted as he noticed a growing number of strangers taking notice of their situation.

"Hey, is that the queen? Why is she crying?" remarked a human male.

"I know, right? And that's the prime minister. Did he do something to upset the queen? What's going on?" chimed in a demihuman fox girl standing next to the human male.

"…Are they dating?" pondered another human female vendor.

Oh no, people are starting to pay attention. This isn't good. As prime minister, it's my responsibility to protect the queen's reputation, but Emilia is a mess right now and won't stop crying.

"Liar! Liar! Waaaaah!" the queen continued to mutter through her tears.

"Dad, you know Helena's idea isn't half bad. Why don't you bring her to the house? The moms might be able to cheer her up," Rigel suggested, pausing his tickling.

"Are you for real, boy? Seriously?" Subaru replied, rubbing his temples in exasperation.

"Well, she's on good terms with most of them, right? I'm not sure about Mother Prisca, but Mom gets along with the queen," Rigel reasoned.

Subaru wasn't entirely convinced. While some of his wives might be understanding, the current situation could potentially make things worse. However, as the crowd around them continued to grow and Subaru noticed more and more curious onlookers, he found himself with few options.

Without any further hesitation, Subaru lifted the queen in his arms, princess-style, and motioned for his kids to follow.

"Brother Rigel, does this mean... another..." Helena started to say, trailing off as they fell in line behind the prime minister, with the queen in his arms.

"I don't know, Helena-chan. We'll leave that decision to the moms." Rigel replied, casting a hopeful glance at the potential resolution ahead. however, he wasn't confident.

The Natsuki Rest House in the Resort city of Ladrima buzzed with activity. The kitchens were bustling, manned by two individuals who were skillfully preparing a variety of dishes. Meanwhile, the living room was a hub of relaxation and care, where four females engaged in a scene of pampering—one receiving attention while the others showered her with care.

"Phew! Rem's finished with the tempura. Are you done with the Omurice?" spoke the blue-haired Oni, wiping her hands as she and the empress wrapped up their tasks in the kitchen.

"Yes, I've prepared the finest Omurice that exists in this world. You must give it a try," replied the Sun Empress, a proud grin adorning her face as she handed a generous portion of omurice to the Oni.

Without hesitation, Rem grabbed a spoon and scooped a mouthful of the dish, savoring the flavors.

"Oh! Rem loves this, Prisca-san! Your cooking skills have truly improved. Subaru-kun would undoubtedly adore this," Rem exclaimed, thoroughly enjoying the food.

"Of course! It's expected of me. Moreover, I had Mother Naoko herself teaching me," the empress explained, gesturing toward a woman in the living room who was having her hair dyed.

"You flatter me, dear. All I did was teach her the basics, and of course, the way Subaru likes it," the woman in her early 60s chimed in, her hair being tended to by a green-haired girl.

"I have to agree with Prisca, Mother. Your cooking is truly exquisite. Even my husband keeps asking for it after you arrived from your world," the green-haired girl, Crusch, added as she continued dying the elder Japanese woman's hair.

"Thank you very much, Crusch," Prisca replied with a warm smile.

"You're welcome, sis," Crusch smiled back.

"Hmmp! My beloved can be quite picky about his food!" complained a silver-haired half-elf with amethyst eyes. She pouted cutely as she simultaneously gave the Japanese woman a manicure and pedicure. "Now Luna is taking after her dad."

"Heh, Tella, ya should be thankful. Niko and Maia won't touch their rice unless it's kararagian rice. I swear, tha brats will bankrupt me in a year or two," said a purple-haired woman with blue eyes as she pampered the elder Japanese woman with a foot spa.

"Seriously, girls, you're spoiling me way too much. There's no need to do this every week, hehehehe," Naoko responded. It had always been like this—her in-laws constantly showered her and her husband with care at every opportunity. It's not that she didn't like it; in fact, she loved it very much, but she didn't want to burden them, especially since they were so busy.

"No, we insist, Mother. You spoil us even more when you babysit your grandkids. The dragon knows just how naughty and energetic they can be," Crusch shuddered. Her son, while well-mannered and elegant, is as lively and mischievous as his father.

"I agree, Mother Naoko. Babysitting Luna gives me more quality time with my beloved," Satella said with a smile.

"Rem agrees too. Thanks to Mom and Pop, Subaru-kun and I have been able to do a lot of things," Rem added her face blushing.

"Hmmm, I have to agree with my sisters, Mother. My husband and I have been able to enjoy various recreational activities thanks to you and Father Kenichi," Prisca chimed in as she washed her hands and headed to the fridge. She grabbed a bunch of cucumbers and facial cream before making her way to the couch.

"So, it's only right that my sisters and I indulge you whenever we can," Prisca concluded as she placed cucumber slices on the Japanese woman's eyes and applied a cream-based facial mask.

"Incoming!" Luna's little voice echoed through the backyard swimming pool, followed by a resounding splash of water. "I'm okay!" she added with a cheerful giggle.

"I'm not," Leo's voice chimed in.

"Luna, stop bullying Oni-chan!" Spica exclaimed.

"I am not!" countered the quarter-elf.

"Mother, I give up! Where is Rigel?" complained Crusch's son, humorously expressing his frustration to his busy mom in the living room.

"He's still not here. Aren't Niko and Maia with you?" Crusch responded with a chuckle.

"No! They're not helping; they're part of the problem!" he retorted.
"Murak indeed!"

"Cannonball!" screamed one of the Hoshin twins as she soared 20 feet high with Beatrice's assistance, landing in the swimming pool with an enormous splash.

"That was cool, Beako!" Luna exclaimed, giving a kiss on the cheek to the great spirit who was wearing a swimsuit.

"Of course! Betty's Subaru is cool."

Suddenly, a scream echoed across the grass.

"Ow ow ow ow ow!" screamed Niko, one of the Hoshin twins, as he was pinned to the ground by a 60-year-old Japanese man.

"Heh! Like father, like son, huh?! You, your dad, Leo, and Rigel are still no match for me! Hahahaha," said Kenichi, putting his grandson in an armbar.

"I surrender! I surrender!" pleaded the purple-haired boy.

It had been like this every Sunday for the Natsuki family over the past 12 years. Their gatherings were filled with joy and wholesomeness as the entire family spent the day together in secret, a tradition that had grown even more special when Subaru successfully brought his grief-stricken parents from another world to Lagunica to live with them.
As the Natsuki family enjoyed their day, waiting for Subaru and his two children, they chatted and had fun, setting aside the stresses of the week.

However, they were not prepared for the events that would follow.

"Hey, Rem, do you have any idea why Subaru, Rigel, and Helena haven't arrived yet? They've been gone for almost an hour now," Satella asked, her face taking on an adorable tilt.

"Rem agrees, Tella. Subaru-kun is almost always on time. What could have happened to them?" Rem's voice held a note of concern. Subaru-kun was known for his organization and punctuality, so something must be amiss. Rem was about to enter panic mode when Prisca shared her thoughts.

"Both of you are just worrywarts. Mine husband is always like that—getting lost and delayed with various side activities. It's almost expected that he'll stumble into something, even with my Perfect luck. But rest assured, with a young shinobi and the Yang Sword holder by his side, he'll be fine. Moreover, I've had him followed by Meili and Louise. What could possibly go wrong?"

The front door suddenly swung open, and two young adult women, one with blue hair and the other with blonde hair, burst forth, panic in their eyes and on their faces.

"Moms! Dad is... Dad is... Da—" the blonde-haired girl stuttered, struggling to get her words out.

"Huh?! What happened, Louise?!" Rem rushed to the girl, her own face etched with panic. "What happened to Subaru-kun?!" she asked frantically.

"Uh, Mom! Dad is..." Louise started again but was cut off by the blue-haired girl.

"Dad is arriving."

"...That's it? Nothing bad happened?" Anastasia interjected this time.

"Uhh, no... but..." Louise began, only to be interrupted once more as the wives and Subaru's mom heard a voice at the front door.

"Dunderhead is a Liar! Wahh!" cried the voice, causing them to collectively wince. They all knew whose voice that was.

"Emilia, stop crying! I'll explain everything," Subaru's frustrated voice resounded as they entered the house and went to the living room, with him carrying Emilia in his arms like a princess and Rigel and Helena following behind.

The girls were shocked, witnessing the half-elf queen in their home, in the arms of their husbands, bawling her eyes out.

"Subaru-kun," Rem spoke in a worried voice, realizing that her secret married life was about to be revealed to the half-elf. However, she couldn't help but smile; she had claimed her Subaru-kun before Emilia did.

"Husband," Priscilla uttered in a neutral voice. Finally, she didn't have to hide her marriage anymore. She loathed concealing her marriage to her beloved husband, fearing the elf might find out. But now, that wasn't a concern. The world After all, seemed to be working in her favor huh?

"Beloved," Satella grimaced. While she was now happily married to her beloved, her soul twin had been left behind, feeling "cucked" and betrayed. It was a tough pill to swallow, and she wondered how her twin would react, knowing that the person who had indirectly caused her pain since childhood had now "stolen" her guy. What a strange predicament!

"Dear husband," Crusch exclaimed, her voice filled with astonishment. Emilia had been one of her best friends throughout the years. Yet, she had concealed her married life, and the most painful aspect was that she was married to the queen's loyal knight!

"Hubby?" said Anastasia, realizing that her exclusive trade deals with the kingdom might be affected.

"Son?" Naoko spoke, removing her cucumber eyepatch. So, this was the half-elf who resembled Satella.

Emilia's tear-streaked face turned towards the gathered women, her gaze shifting from one to another. Her voice quivered as she uttered their names, her heart heavy with the realization that Subaru had been keeping a significant part of his life hidden from her.

"Rem... Priscilla... Crusch... Anastasia..." she whispered; her voice barely audible as her eyes met theirs. then...

"Satella?"

Emilia shuddered. how could this be? even the witch of envy found happiness but not me? however, before she could wallow in anguish the door opened once more and arrived a girl with reddish brown hair, beside her a child with black hair and green eyes, with a green ribbon in her hair.

""I apologize for being late guys, I helped the queen with her hair this morning, but I bought a cake! Deneb and I baked it- HUH?!" she screamed shocked as she made eye contact with the queen.

"...Petra?" Emilia said her voice more hurt than ever.

"Daddy!" said the black-haired girl hugging Subaru.

"...hehehehe...shit" Subaru scratched her hair not knowing what to say.

"Dunderhead, you liar! You never loved me!" Emilia's voice then cracked, and she cried out once more, her emotions overwhelming her.

"And you had the audacity to call Halibel-sensei a playboy? Tsk damn, dad! you toast!" Rigel joked.
