CAMELOT AND GREYHAL

.

Arturia Pendragon, a noblewoman and daughter of the King of Camelot, Uther Pendragon, lay unconscious on a pine wood bed. Camelot itself was one of the kingdoms that stood in Brunia, precisely in the country of Briton. This kingdom ruled the mainland of Briton and had been governed by the Pendragon lords long ago.

Before ending up here, Arturia was on the run, trying to save herself from her kingdom, which was experiencing a coup orchestrated by her father's friend, Goetia. The bloody coup claimed the lives of many loyal to her father, as well as members of her family. Arturia managed to escape from the kingdom thanks to the sacrifice of her brother, Arthur Pendragon, whose fate was currently unknown.

It appeared that Uther Pendragon, Arturia's father, had died, and Goetia might have been responsible for his death. The reason behind Goetia's betrayal, despite being a close friend of Uther, remained unclear. His sudden acquisition of a large and terrible army, followed by a surprise attack on Camelot at night, caught everyone off guard.

Arturia had participated in the sudden fight, but without proper preparation for Goetia's attack, Uther's forces were utterly crushed. Witnessing the destruction of his kingdom, Uther urged his two children, Arthur and Arturia, to save themselves. Although they resisted at first, Uther angrily ordered them to flee.

As a father, Uther had promised his late wife to protect their two children, prioritizing their safety over his responsibilities as a king to his people. Overwhelmed by their father's wrath, Arthur and Arturia forced themselves to flee the kingdom. However, as they took a few steps to escape, they found themselves surrounded by a large number of Goetia army.

Arthur ordered Arturia to flee alone, but she refused. Despite Arthur's anger, Arturia insisted on staying with him to fight the Goetia army. A member of the Knights of the Round Table then approached them. Upon seeing the arrival of this special group, Arthur immediately ordered Bedivere, the member closest to him, to escort Arturia away from the kingdom.

Bedivere obeyed Arthur's orders without argument and forcibly led Arturia away from the dangerous place. However, upon reaching the border gate, they were faced by Goetia's men. Bedivere asked Arturia to leave him behind, and surprisingly, she complied without protest, just as she had done for her brother.

Arturia continued to flee the kingdom without a clear goal, with some of Goetia's troops still in pursuit. She ventured deep into the Forêt de Valon forest in the northwest of the country of Briton, hoping to deceive her pursuers.

After running for a considerable distance, Arturia reached her limits. In the middle of the lush Forêt de Valon forest, she fainted, leaning her back against the trunk of a large tree. Arturia remained unconscious for over a day until Naruto, who happened to be hunting there at the time, discovered her.

Naruto carried Arturia to Greyhal, an ancient city that bordered Briton and Orleans. The town was separated from the Forêt de Valon by the Mooside Hills mountain range. After twelve hours of non-stop travel, Naruto arrived in Greyhal with an unconscious Arturia in his arms.

Without taking a moment's rest, Naruto kept running until he reached Greyhal. As soon as he arrived, he hurried to meet his friend who lived there, a girl named Parvati. Parvati was not the only person Naruto knew in Greyhal, but she was particularly skilled in medical science, making her the perfect person to help Arturia once Naruto brought her to the girl's place.

At seven in the morning, Naruto reached Parvati's house. His face, pale from continuous running, was drenched in sweat. He knocked on Parvati's door anxiously, surprising the host. When Parvati opened the door, she was taken aback by Naruto's appearance, holding an unconscious girl in his arms.

Before Parvati could ask what had happened, Naruto quickly explained everything, from meeting Arturia in the Forêt de Valon to bringing her here. His explanation left Parvati momentarily stunned, but she quickly snapped out of it and invited Naruto inside with Arturia to provide immediate care.

Naruto sat on a wooden chair facing the fireplace inside Parvati's house. He held a cup of hot coffee, trying to warm up in the snowless winter of Brunia. Exhausted after running all day, Naruto's body was still overwhelmed by fatigue, even after resting for a few hours.

As he waited for Parvati, who was still tending to Arturia, Naruto took a deep breath to relax. He sipped from his second cup of coffee, trying to regain some energy. Parvati emerged from the room where she had been caring for Arturia and approached Naruto.

Sitting in a chair beside him, Parvati stretched her arms and wiped the sweat from her face. Naruto turned to her and asked, "How is her condition?"

Parvati mumbled a response, still relaxing her body. After a moment, she leaned back in her chair and gave an explanation, "She has hypothermia, which is very dangerous if we don't help her quickly. She's physically weak as if she has undergone extreme activities and been exposed to very cold temperatures for a long time. For now, she needs as much rest as possible to restore her energy."

Listening to Parvati's words, Naruto smiled gratefully. "Thank you," he said.

Naruto stared at the fireplace for a few moments, then looked down, revealing his worries. "I thought she wouldn't survive. I found her with such weak vitality." Naruto's concern was evident.

Parvati gazed at Naruto with admiration and warmth in her eyes. She was moved by his determination to bring Arturia to her, even in uncertain circumstances. Her smile widened, appreciating Naruto's character.

Parvati placed her right hand on Naruto's head and gently stroked it. "You truly are a good person, Naruto," she said with a warm smile.

Naruto weakly smiled in response to Parvati's friendly treatment. "I hope so," he replied softly.

Parvati maintained her smile while gently stroking Naruto's shaggy hair for a few moments before pulling her hand back. "Stay here for now," she suggested.

"I'm sorry, I didn't—"

"No, Naruto! You need to rest too. I can see how exhausted you are right now. You must have traveled to many places." Parvati interrupted Naruto before he could decline her offer, catching him off guard for a moment.

Naruto took a deep breath and closed his eyes, realizing that it might be best to accept Parvati's invitation. He nodded. "You're right."

"Besides, you need to find out exactly who the girl you saved is," Parvati continued.

Naruto opened his eyes in surprise, and his posture became more attentive as he turned to face Parvati. "You know who she is?"

Parvati nodded. "At first, I wasn't sure, but after a thorough investigation, I was also surprised."

Naruto focused on Parvati, eager to know the identity of the girl he had brought to her.

Parvati looked at Naruto seriously. "She is Arturia Pendragon, the daughter of Uther Pendragon,"

"... the king of Camelot."

A little additional information about the places in this chapter:

Briton: a country located in northwestern Brunia that was under the rule of the kingdom of Camelot.

Camelot: the kingdom that ruled the land of Briton, led by the noble Pendragon who was later overthrown by Goetia.

Greyhal: an old town located in the west of Brunia, which forms the boundary between Briton and Orleans.

Forêt de Valon: a lush wild forest area. It is located in the west-northwest region of the country of Briton, blocked by the Mooside Hills mountains, and separated from the road leading to the city of Greyhal.

Mooside Hills: mountains with an average height of 600 meters that line the area between the Forêt de Valon and the arterial road to the town of Greyhal. On one side of these mountains, there is a hidden gorge (this is the gorge Naruto passed when he brought Arturia) as a shortcut to pass through this mountain.
