Before we begin keep in mind this is me, showing my honor, to the writer who made brother on board.

A one piece fanfic story that died some year ago.

It may have died. But it'll still be in our hearts.

So for me to honor that writer, I've decided to make my own, ok?.

It's a nice sunny day in the east blue. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Everything is going peacefully...

Until BOOOOM!.

Sabo's boat gets shot down by a world noble.

Dadan see's this and quickly got her coat off.

Before diving in the water, she ordered her men to keep Luffy and Ace where they are.

As Dadan was under water. Luffy and Ace were afraid of losing Sabo.

As time went slowly on, they waited for a miracle.

Just like that Dadan came back up for air. And with her, was Sabo.

Is he...? Asked Ace in fear.

He's alive. But he's badly injured. We need a doctor asap said Dadan.

I'll go get one. Just get him home. I'll bring the doctor there said Makino before running to find the island doctor.

Just like that the bandit's and the boys ran back home with a injured Sabo.

[later that night]

As the others waited for a miracle to happen. Just like that the doctor came out of the boys room.

How is he doc? Asked Ace worried.

He's got a few broken ribs and a burnt scar around his left eye, it'll heal in time. Other than that he'll survive said the doctor.

Thank god said Makino in relief.

I honestly am surprised to see him survive such a thing. It's a real miracle he's going to live through it. It's as if some higher being decided to save him said the doctor.

Thank you doctor said Makino.

You all get some rest ya hear said the doctor before leaving.

As the bandits get some rest. Luffy cry's himself to sleep in makino's arms.

As for Ace... he just stairs at the door.

[three weeks later]

As the bandits and the boys were having breakfast.

The boys door opens, to reveal a bandaged up Sabo.

Hey... everyone said Sabo with a weak voice.

Everyone was surprised to see Sabo up and standing. The first person to say something, was Luffy.

SABO! Cried Luffy as he ran to his big brother to hug him.

Hey... sorry for worrying you... little bro said Sabo still weak.

How ya feeling? Asked Ace still a little mad.

Still healing. But I'll be alright for now said Sabo.

So. Looks like your plan to leave your old family has fallen apart. Any other dumb ideas? Asked Ace still a little mad.

I got one... but that's for Luffy to decide said Sabo.

What do ya mean? Asked Ace confused.

Luffy... is it ok... if I join you... on your journey to find one piece? Asked Sabo.

Mhmm said Luffy still crying.

So what about me? Asked Ace.

You can come to. If you want that is said Sabo.

Thanks, but I'll be on my own captain. Thanks anyway said Ace.

Ok said Sabo.

In case your wondering how your family is. They think your dead said Ace.

Good to hear said Sabo with a weak smile.

Just like that as the days go on as normal. Sabo was fully healed. His eye was good as always.

After being fully healed, Sabo decided to give up using blunt weapons, given he may never be able to use them again.

So he decided to try gunslinging instead.

To he surprise, he's got a got aim at it.

After Sabo turned 14. Garp got Sabo two revolvers that fire six shots.

After Ace turned 17. He left saying goodbye to his brothers hopefully to see them again someday in three years.

After Sabo turned 18 he got himself a west blue styled rifle that fires 20 shots.

After Luffy turned 17. It was time for them to leave.

[at the docks]

Luffy is wearing a red sleeveless vest. A pair of black pants. Some sandals. And his treasured straw hat.

These pants are a little itchy said Luffy.

That's because you ate cookies in them. Now there's probably some cookie crumbs in them said Sabo.

Sabo is wearing a white button up shirt. A black coat. Some long black pants. Black boots. Has a black top hat on his head. And he has black gloves on.

He is carrying his rifle around his back. And has holsters around his hips.

I still don't get why I should wear pants. Shorts are cool to you know said Luffy.

Because pants can cover more of your legs. Just be happy I let you keep the vest and sandals on. Ya know what, I don't get why a sleeveless vest and sandals said Sabo.

Because I look cool in this vest said Luffy.

And the sandals? Asked Sabo.

Thought they'd look good on my feet said Luffy with a smile.

Your an idiot. Come on, let's get on the boat, that 'I' paid for said Sabo.

As the two get onboard the little boat and set sail.

The people of the town Luffy grew up in said goodbye.

When the two got far away from the island.

Bam!. A giant sea king shows up out of the water.

Ah crap. We forgot about the damn sea king in the water said Sabo.

I got this said Luffy standing up.

The sea king roar's at Luffy with a powerful roar.

It's payback time said Luffy with a grin.

[gum gum... pistol!] yelled Luffy as he used his left rubber fist to punch the sea king out like a light.

The sea king falls back down in the bottom of the ocean defeated so easily.

That's for Shanks, ya dumb fish said Luffy with a smile.

Sea king Luffy. It's called a sea king said Sabo.

I beat it didn't I? Asked Luffy still smiling.

You just got lucky. That's all. Now then. Let's see where to go first said Sabo as he looks at the maps he got from Garp one time.

Look out world, I'm going to be king of the pirates said Luffy.

Hopefully yes. But until then, your just Luffy, the captain of the straw hat pirates. Dumb name btw said Sabo.

Hey! Said Luffy.

As for me. I am going to take down the dark side. Of the world government said Sabo.

Sisisi laughed Luffy excited to hear that again.

Here we go! Said Luffy as he and Sabo are sailing to the great unknown.

What could go wrong?.
