Snake was invited to a basketball game that afternoon. He and the gang were at a cafe.
"I can't believe that the 'Meteorstars' invited me to play a game of basketball with them!!!" Snake said.
A girl that looked a lot like snake and that was wearing a hoodie appeared.
"Someone's smelling perfume here..." Ace said.
'It's 'Saturn Cosmos', one of my favorite perfumes. It smells like honey." The green girl said.
"Hello, Madame Pauline." Snake said.
"Hi." Pauline said.
"She has the record of 'Best Basketball Player'!" Snake said.
"I dodged a lot of times in basketball without being caught by the other teams. Luck, I guess..." Pauline said.
It was in the middle of the basketball game, and then a player came to where the Gangreen Gang was.
"Snake, Melody had to leave because she got a letter from her mom saying she was sick with flu, and Melody went home. Can you please stay in her place?" A brown fox girl called Amy said.
"Yes." Snake said.
"Wait, Melody's mom here, next to me." Arturo said.
"And I didn't send any letter!" The dog woman said.
"Who could have done this?" Ace said.
"Someone who wanted her out of the show." Amy said, glaring at Snake.
"But it wasn't me!!!" Snake shouted.
"We saw you leaving the cafe with Melody." A pink cloud girl said.
"And you were roommates. And when she came to told this to me, where you were?" Amy said.
"I was taking a shower." Snake said.
"If Snake didn't do this, then who did this to Melody?" Ace said.
"We don't have a clue." Arturo said.
"Let's investigate." Billy said.
The gang was talking with the guards.
"We were here, guarding the entrance all night!" The guard said.
"Except when someone came with a cake for you two. And you had time to take a break." Ace said.
"How do you know this?" The other guard said.
"I was on a diner that is next to this mansion. I was drinking a soda." Ace said.
"How the cake tasted and looked like?" Snake said.
"Coconut cake with strawberries, some vanilla cookies on top of it, and blueberries." The guard said.
"There's only one place that serves a cake like that in Townsville..." Snake said.
"Agatha's diner!!!" Billy said.
The gang was at Martha's diner.
"I served a cake to a customer yesterday." The brown and white rat called Martha said.
"How he looked like?" Arturo said.
"Like your friend with turquoise hair here, but with a hat, a scarf and a tuxedo." Agatha said.
"Hey, didn't you guys noticed that hour that i got the letter it was smelling 'Saturn Cosmos' perfume?" Snake said.
"No." Billy said.
"Like the curtains of the mansion!!!" Ace said.
"And Pauline was the one who used that perfume..." Snake said.
"The guards said that the person that brought the cake had a raspy voice." Arturo said.
"And I found some turquoise hair on the letter, and they were long, and my hair is short!" Snake said.
"I guess we found the person who did this to frame Snake..." Ace said.
"Madame Pauline." Billy said.
The gang was back at the mansion.
"Madame Pauline, you have nowhere to go!!! We knew that it was you was trying to frame Snake!!!" Ace yelled.
"It was me!!!" Pauline shouted.
"Why you did this?" Ace said.
"Because I don't want someone who's gonna break my record." Pauline said.
"Pauline, you're fired." A white wolf girl said.
"Alright, Melody!!!" Pauline said, grunting.
