Dc and Bbc Merlin again. I just love how the two can come together. This is different than my Wattpad story of this. I want to see if this turns out better. Please review. I don't Dc or Bbc Merlin. I do take credit for four and half characters. Half because Dc didn't really give him anything but a place in the comic, no name, nothing. So I claim as half mine because I gave him a name and personality. Cursing may occur, but it will be bleeped out.

Time: between season 3 to 4, the year of peace.

Merlin Pov

We're heading out on another hunting trip. Fun, not. When will Arthur realize that we always get attacked on hunting trips, resulting in getting kidnapped, nearly being killed, and usually someone heading home covered in bandages. As a precaution I made sure I stuffed my bags with extra medical equipment. The prat is not king yet, so I still have to protect his but.

Arthur is in the lead, Gwanie is regaling us with one of his tavern stories, while the rest of the round table knights are laughing. We are heading north to the northern plains, close to the Perilous Lands, a very colt pole idea in my opinion. When have the Perilous Lands brought anyone any good?

Suddenly, Arthur raises his hand to stop us. After a moment I heard.. branches breaking, leaves underfoot, and yelling of soldiers. Bandits. The knights raised their swords ready for a attack. I led my horse to the cover of branches, so if needed I could use my magic without anyone noticing. 'Not even two days in and we will be attacked' I thought.

Arthur jumped down from his horse, sword at the ready. The clinking of chains caught my attention. 'A servant running away?' Suddenly two girls who look to be about ten summers, burst though the trees, slamming right into Arthur.

The first girl had long blonde hair that has not been tended to in some time, startling green eyes, and a ragged night shirt and trousers. The other girl had blue eyes that were wide with panic. She wore a tunic and pants both so torn that they needed to be burned. Her hair was black, with twigs and leaves in them, and something white was in her hair. I could see both were whipped, the girl with black hair was beaten worse, and manacles dragging at the ground were on their wrists and ankles, the two girls were attached by a leg maniacal as well. No shoes. They were breathing hard.

Arthur knelt down to their height, grabbing their arms at the elbows. "What happened to you? Who hurt you?" I know he saw the chains, perhaps he is trying to see if Morgana had them.

The girl with black hair tried to speak. Her voice trembled," Th-The old m-man. He wants u-us b-back. He-he hurt." Tears were welling up in her deep blue eyes.

"How many are after you?" He asked gentle but firm.

"At Least Twenty" They were starting to pull away from Arthur.

Arthur got to his feet," Merlin, Take them and hide."

I got off my horse, running to the girls, while the knights jumped off their horses prepared to fight. They were trembling. "n-no. I want J-Ja-Jason." The same girl spoke, the other girl seemed to much in shock too speak.

I picked them up and ran to cover. They're trying to pull away. I kept my hand son their mouths, my leg entwined in their leg chain so they wouldn't run away. A minute later, men in armor and cloth around their faces came out with odd swords. The swords were all thinner than any sword I have seen, yet all of them had a slight curve to them. The little girls suddenly froze with fear. Six against twenty is not a fair fight.

I was about to use magic when a sword found its way to my throat. Now I understand why they froze. I glanced to my left and saw a man with a strange assortment of clothes. Black and orange, the left side of his covered face was black, right orange. It was the opposite pattern on his torso.

"Don't do anything stupid boy. We don't want a war with Camelot, we just want the Child and her sister".

The girl who spoke earlier flinched at the last word. Clearly, she did not appreciate the word 'child'. 'Why not just kill me? Who do they work for? Why do they want these little girls?'

"Why should I?"

"Do you really want the prince to die? We know your destiny boy, along with his," he jutted his chin to Arthur. "Trust me when I say they are not worth the trouble."

My thoughts raced, 'Who ever he is, or works for, is very well informed. If twenty men came after them, they must be important for some reason. They're worth the trouble to someone.' Now I knew I had to protect them no matter what, but should I play dumb, cocky, or willing? I glanced out of the corner of my eye, only four enemy men were down. My friends are losing, I need to act.

Before I decided what to do, the girl with blonde hair muttered something in my hand and closed her eyes, while her sister stared intently at the man with a sort of malice. A branch fell on top of three of the soldiers, while a strong breeze came out of no where attempting to make the man stumble with no luck. Magic, I could sense it. I know part of the reason why they want the two girls now. Before they could do anything else, the man drew out a knife and pressed it to the throat of the black haired girl.

"Bad Child" Again she flinched. Blood started to trickle from her throat. "The Demon's Head wants you two alive. Don't make me throw you in the pit."

She whimpered. Arthur moaned, but I can't look away from this man. 'Please, let us all make it out alive'.

"Pl-please S-Slade. I w-want h-" the man cut her off by pressing the blade harder to her throat. More blood.

I let my magic out. Dropping a tree limb, unfortunately it only hit his shoulder. "Grah!"

"RUN" I yelled. The three of us turned and ran to the group. Arthur had something in his left shoulder, Lancelot had the same object in his right leg. Only four enemies left, not including the leader.

"Ggerr" The black haired girl yelled, I turned to see another one of those objects imbedded in her side. The man we had just left had thrown it, preparing to throw another one. I was about to say something discreetly, when her sister's eyes flashed gold and the thing melted in his hand.

He stared at us. Then the man laughed. "Men, it is time for us to go. The Demon's Head will want a report."

Suddenly, all four of his remaining men turned, and melted into the shadows of the forest.
