(The next scene is at the Bumblyburg Diner. Jimmy and Ellen are seated at a table eating then Jimmy looks up and notices the four plates of food on Ellen's side of the table then he looks at Ellen both confused and concerned)
Jimmy: Uh, that's a lot of food, babe. You're kinda liable to get a major tummy ache from that.
Ellen: (Giggles) Don't worry, Jimmy. It's kinda important I eat like this.
Jimmy: Why?
Ellen: Well, I guess now is as good time as any to tell you.
Jimmy: Tell me what?
Ellen: Jimmy, I'm...
(The bell to the door rings then Jimmy and Ellen turn and see Vicki and Larry entering with Moe)
Larry: Hey, look who it is.
Vicki: Hi you guys.
(The two go over to the table)
Ellen: Hello, Vicki. Hi, Larry. (Playfully) Hi, Moe. You're getting so big.
Jimmy: You guys wanna join us? The more, the merrier.
Larry: Wish we could but we're taking our food to go since we've got to get Moe over to the daycare while I'm over at my job interview.
Ellen: Oh, so you're going to have a job now instead?
Vicki: We figured it'd be better if we switched things around since Larry's starting to look thrashed nowadays.
Jimmy: (Chuckles) A toddler'll do that to ya.
Ellen: Y-Yeah. (Turns to Larry) Larry, can I talk to you for a second?
Larry: Okay.
(Ellen and Larry hop away from the table while Vicki places Moe into a booster seat then sits down then looks over at Jimmy)
Vicki: Jimmy, can you keep Moe busy while I write down our order on the notepad?
Jimmy: Uh...Uh. Yeah.
(Jimmy turns to Moe while Ellen and Larry continue talking not too far away from the table then Larry's eyes widen then he gasps quietly)
Larry: (Whispering) You're pregnant?
Ellen: Yeah. I found out yesterday.
Larry: Congratulations, Ellen. How far along?
Ellen: About 2 months.
Larry: Wow. Have you told Jimmy yet?
Ellen: I was about to (sighs) now I'm beginning to have doubts whether he's ready or not.
Larry: Jimmy would make a great dad, Ellen.
Ellen: But he just said having a toddler will make you exhausted.
Larry: Aw, that doesn't mean nothing. I'm sure Jimmy's gonna be excited about this.
(The two look over and see Moe squirming in his seat and babbling then Jimmy picks up Moe's rattle from the table then shows it to him)
Jimmy: (Cooing) Is this what you're looking for, buddy?
(Moe begins giggling then Jimmy gives him the rattle then Ellen smiles when she sees Jimmy making silly faces while Moe giggles louder)
Larry: See? He's a natural.
Ellen: (Sighs) I just hope he can handle two.
(Larry's eyes widen then Ellen nods then they continue looking over at Jimmy distracting Moe)
Vicki: Gee Jimmy, it's almost like you were made to be a dad.
Jimmy: (Chuckles) Well, it has always been a dream of mine. Me and Ellen have been praying to be parents for quite awhile.
(Ellen gasps quietly then Larry turns to her)
Larry: (Whispering) It sounds like he's more ready than ever. Go on Ellen. Tell him.
Ellen: (Sighs) Okay.
(Ellen and Larry go back over to the table then Vicki stands up then picks up Moe)
Vicki: Larry, our food's ready.
Larry: Great. (Looks at Ellen and Jimmy) See ya guys later. And Jimmy? I also think you'd make a great dad.
Jimmy: Thanks, buddy.
(Larry and Vicki leave the diner then Jimmy turns to Ellen)
Jimmy: (Sighs) If only it were so. Don't worry Cupcake, it'll happen.
Ellen: Actually, Jimmy, I...
Jimmy: Oh, no. I just remembered. I gotta take Jerry's shift over at the construction site.
Ellen: Jimmy...
Jimmy: I'm really sorry I gotta cut our almost anniversary date short, babe. I promise I'll make it up to you tomorrow. We'll do whatever you want.
Ellen: But Jimmy...
(Jimmy quickly pecks Ellen on the lips)
Jimmy: I need to go. Love you.
Ellen: I...love you too, sweetie.
(Jimmy hurries out of the diner then Ellen sighs)
Ellen: (To herself) There's got to be an easier way to tell him.
(Ellen looks around then sees a thank-you card near the cash register then smiles)
(The next scene is at Bumblyburg Elementary. Inside one of the classrooms, Petunia is teaching while the class is listening)
Petunia: Now, does anyone remember which year The Civil War of the Veggies took place?
Kids: Me! Me! I do! I know!
Petunia: Um...Annie?
Annie: 1861?
Petunia: That's right!
Laura: And Abraham Eggplant was our president.
Petunia: Correct, Laura.
(Petunia begins to look dizzy then closes her eyes)
Junior: (Worriedly) Mom, are you okay?
(Petunia opens her eyes then smiles)
Petunia: I'm okay, sweetheart. Now then, who was the next president after Abraham Eggplant?
(Petunia groans then closes her eyes causing Libby, Christina and Junior to look over at her concerned)
Christina: (Worriedly) Mommy?
(Petunia opens her eyes)
Petunia: Uh...as I was saying...
(The school bell rings)
Petunia: (Groans) Class dismissed. See you tomorrow.
(The class leaves except for Junior, Christina and Libby then Laura goes over to them)
Laura: (Worriedly) I sure hope Mrs. Petunia gets better. Bye guys.
Libby: Bye, Laura.
(Laura leaves the classroom then Junior, Libby and Christina go over to Petunia who's resting her head on the desk)
Junior: (Worriedly) Mom? Are you awake?
(Petunia opens her eyes then yawns then looks over at the kids)
Petunia: L-Let's go outside so you can wait for Dad at car-pool.
(Petunia stands up then groans)
Christina: (Worriedly) Mom, maybe it's better if you see the doctor today instead of tomorrow
Petunia: No. I'm okay, sweetheart.
Libby: Really, Mommy, you've got to. We're big enough to cross over the street by ourselves.
Junior: I think what's important right now is finding out what's wrong with you, Mom.
Petunia: (Sighs) Alright. Tell your Dad I might be a little late getting home.
Junior: Okay, Mom.
(The kids go over to Petunia then 'hug' her then go over to the door then Libby turns back to Petunia)
Libby: You'll tell us what's going on, right Mom?
Petunia: I will, Libby.
(Libby nods then follows Junior and Christina out of the classroom then Petunia exhales then slumps back down in her chair)
(The next scene is at Bob and Katrina's house, inside the kitchen. Katrina and Bob are sitting down at the table beside each other hearing the clock tick then Bob looks over at Katrina concerned then they hear the door open then see Laura coming inside)

Bob: Oh. Hello, sweetheart.
Katrina: Hi, honey.
Laura: (Worriedly) Do we know anything yet?
(Bob hops off his chair then goes over to Laura)
Bob: No. Not yet. Why don't you go ahead and play in your room while we wait for that phone call, okay?
Laura: (Sighs) Sure.
(Bob kisses Laura's forehead)
Bob: We'll let you know.
(Bob 'nudges' Laura ahead)
Bob: If you decide to do homework instead, I'll help you.
Laura: Alright, Dad.
(Laura goes up the stairs then Bob goes back over to his chair then hops onto it then looks over at the phone then sighs then looks down then Katrina leans towards him)
Katrina: Are you feeling nervous about what the doctor's gonna say?
(Bob looks up at Katrina)
Bob: (Worriedly) Babe, any minute, that phone could ring and the doctor might end up telling us there's something seriously wrong with you.
Katrina: You don't know that for sure.
Bob: (Sighs) You're right. I don't. But it doesn't make me feel any better.
Katrina: Whatever it turns out to be, I know we'll get through it together...right?
(Bob smiles then reaches up and pecks Katrina on the cheek then nods)
Bob: Right.
(The phone rings then Katrina turns to Bob then pecks him on the forehead)
Katrina: Okay.
Bob: Okay.
(Katrina stands up from her seat then goes over to the phone then answers it)
Katrina: Hello...Dr. Carrot? Are my results in? Yes? Mmm-hmm? (Surprised) Oh. Oh, are you sure? Really? Okay. Okay. Yes. And I will. T-Thanks. Bye.
(Katrina hangs up the phone then turns to Bob still looking surprised)
Bob: (Worriedly) Sweetheart, what did she say? Is everything alright?
Katrina: Bob...Let's go over to the calendar.
Bob: (Confused) The...calendar? O-okay. Sure.
(Bob hops off his seat then follows Katrina over to the calendar then Katrina flips through it till she reaches the month of November then she turns to Bob)
Katrina: Honey, do you have a marker?
Bob: Mmm-hmm.
(Bob gives Katrina a nearby marker then she circles the month of November)
Bob: (Confused) What exactly is happening in November, babe?
Katrina: Well...that's the month when our baby's gonna arrive.
Bob: Oh.
(Bob's face dawns in realization then he looks up at Katrina surprised)
Bob: Oh!
(Bob looks down at Katrina's stomach then back up at her hopeful)
Bob: Babe, are you saying we're...
Katrina: (Happily) We're gonna have a baby, Bob. I'm pregnant!
Bob: Woo-hoo!
(Bob hops on the stool then reaches up and kisses Katrina romantically then kisses her nose)
Bob: (Chuckles) I guessed a lot of things adding up to your symptoms but I didn't think about this.
Katrina: Me neither. We didn't exactly talk about it yet. (Sighs) I didn't even know if you wanted another kid since we already have Laura.
Bob: Sweetheart, this is what I've been dreaming about since we first got married.
Katrina: You mean that?
Bob: I do.
(Katrina smiles then pecks Bob on the forehead then Bob hops off the stool then looks at Katrina's stomach in awe)
Bob: (Whispering) I can't believe there's a small part of us living in there. Our little miracle.
(Bob's eyes well up with tears then he chuckles)
Bob: (Voice cracking) Look at me. (Looks up at Katrina) I didn't think I could be this happy.
(Katrina's eyes also well up with tears then she pecks Bob on the forehead)
Katrina: Me too, babe.
(Bob kisses Katrina's stomach then leans against it)
Bob: (To Katrina's stomach, softly) Hi. Hi, baby. This is Daddy. Your Daddy's right here and he loves you very, very much. Me and Mommy are gonna take great care of you. We'll always be there to protect you and keep you safe. You are loved. You're always loved.
Katrina: (Giggles) Do you think we should tell Laura the good news?
(Bob looks up at Katrina)
Bob: I think that's a great idea.
Katrina: Come on, then.
(Katrina and Bob begin to go over to the stairs then Bob stops and looks at the pink and blue unmarked height chart then Katrina stands beside him then Bob leans against Katrina's stomach then looks up at her smiling warmly)
Bob: Now we're finally putting that other height chart to good use. I can't wait.
Katrina: (Giggles) Same here.
(The next scene is in Laura's bedroom. Bob opens the door then he and Katrina see Laura playing with her dollhouse)
Bob: Laura?
(Laura turns to Bob and Katrina)
Katrina: We know what's going on with me, sweetie.
Laura: Really?
(Laura goes over to Bob and Katrina)
Laura: (Worriedly) You're not really sick, are you, Mom?
Katrina: (Giggles) No, honey. It's the opposite.
Bob: That's right. Laura sweetheart, it turns out that you're gonna get to be a big sister.
(Laura gasps happily)
Laura: I am? Mom, are you gonna have a baby?
Katrina: I'm having a baby, honey.
(Laura giggles then she 'hugs' Bob and Katrina)
Laura: I can't wait!
Bob: We've got a long way to go though, sweetheart.

(Jimmy kisses Ellen)
Jimmy: Sorry I'm a few hours late. So, what have you been up to?
Ellen: Well...
(Ellen shows Jimmy the card)
Jimmy: You've been making a card?
Ellen: Since our anniversary is tomorrow, I thought I'd give you your present now.
Jimmy: Ellen, babe, you really didn't have to...
Ellen: Oh. Tut, tut, tut.
(Ellen kisses Jimmy then gives him the card)
Ellen: Don't be modest. Go ahead and see what you got.
(Jimmy smiles then kisses Ellen then opens up the card then he reads the words 'Happy almost Anniversary from Ellen and baby' then his eyes widen)

(Ellen nods)
Ellen: I'm pregnant Jimmy.
(Jimmy puts the card down then he lifts Ellen up then spins her around then kisses her)
Jimmy: (Happily) We're gonna be parents?
Ellen: (Giggles) We are.
Jimmy: Oh, Cupcake, this is the best news ever. I've never been this excited. I can't believe it!
Ellen: But, wait. There's more.
Jimmy: There is?
Ellen: You see, we're not having a baby.
Jimmy: (Confused) What? We're not?

(Ellen presses her forehead to Jimmy's)
Ellen: We'll get there.
Jimmy: I love you Ellen, sweetheart. And I love our babies already too.

Christina: Now, will you please tell us what the doctor said, Mommy?
Petunia: (Giggles) Okay. But you can't tell Dad. Leave that to me, okay?
(The kids nod)
Petunia: The doctor told me that...well, it looks like we're going to have a new member of our family added soon.
(The kids gasp)
Libby: You're gonna have a baby, Mom?
Junior: When?
Petunia: I'm only 2 months, sweetie. The baby won't come until autumn.
Junior: (Sighs) That long?
Petunia: (Giggles) It may seem like a long time but the months will go by before you know it.
Christina: Daddy's gonna be so happy!
(The door opens then they turn to see Archibald coming inside)
Archibald: Petunia dear, I took the garbage out.
(Archibald goes over and kisses Petunia)

Libby: Sure are, Dad.
Archibald: You go on upstairs and I'll tuck you in and...
Christina: Um, we can tuck ourselves in, Daddy. Why don't you and Mommy talk?
Junior: Yeah. Uh, Mom told us she has a big surprise for you anyway.
Archibald: Oh? (Turns to Petunia) What would that be?
Petunia: The kids already know about it but I thought it'd be best if I told you what it was privately.
Archibald: Oh. Alright.
(Archibald puts Libby and Junior down then the three go to the stairs)
Christina: We really can't wait, Mom.
Petunia: (Giggles) I know. Goodnight, sweetie.
Christina: Goodnight, Mom.
Junior and Libby: Goodnight, Dad.
Archibald: Goodnight.
(The kids go up the stairs then Archibald turns to Petunia)
Archibald: So, what is this 'big surprise' the kids are talking about?
Petunia: Well, I went to the doctor early today instead and told her about my symptoms.
Archibald: (Worriedly) You mean how you've been tired lately and vomiting?
Petunia: That's right and she did a couple of tests. Including some things like either a flu or cancer...
Archibald: (Worriedly) Cancer?
(Petunia quickly kisses Archibald)
Petunia: It was only for safety reasons, sweetheart. That test immediately came back negative.
(Archibald sighs in relief then 'hugs' Petunia)
Archibald: You scared me for a moment.
(Archibald kisses Petunia's forehead)
Archibald: (Worriedly) But you are healthy, aren't you?
Petunia: The doctor said everything checks out.
Archibald: Then what's going on?
(Petunia moves closer to Archibald then kisses him)
Petunia: Well, what was the one thing we wanted after we got married and we moved into this house?
(Archibald invisibly pulls Petunia flush against him)
Archibald: We were hoping that our kids would soon have a baby brother or sister to play with, that we'd have another child to love.
Petunia: How would you feel if I told you we're ready to have a baby?
Archibald: (Chuckles) I'd be very thrilled.
Petunia: (Giggles) And what if I told you we wouldn't have to wait long?
(Archibald looks surprised then looks down at Petunia's stomach then back up at her smiling)
Archibald: (Hopeful) Darling, what are you saying?
Petunia: I think what I'm trying to say is that...I'm pregnant, Archie.
(Archibald looks down at Petunia's stomach in awe then back up at her then kisses her romantically then lifts her up then twirls her around still kissing her then puts her down then stares back at her, eyes shining with tears)
Archibald: (Voice cracking) You're really pregnant?
Petunia: You're happy, right?
Archibald: (Chuckles) Dearest, what kind of silly question is that? I just want to shout it to the world, 'We're going to be parents'.
(Archibald kisses Petunia)
Archibald: I love you.
Petunia: And I love you too.
(Archibald leans over towards Petunia's stomach then invisibly rolls up her top enough to expose the skin of her stomach then presses gentle kisses over it then looks up at Petunia still kissing her stomach)
Archibald: (Whispering) There's a baby in there.
Petunia: (Giggles) Yeah. There is, Archie.
Archibald: How far along?
Petunia: About 2 months.
Archibald: 2 months?
(Archibald stops kissing Petunia's stomach then faces it)
Archibald: (To Petunia's stomach, cooing) That doesn't give us a lot of time to get ready for you, does it little one?
Petunia: We've got plenty of time, Archie.
(Archibald looks up at Petunia)
Archibald: You're right, sweetheart.
(Archibald continues kissing Petunia's stomach)
Archibald: Are we having a boy or a girl?
Petunia: (Giggles) You're just as bad as the kids.
(Archibald chuckles then stands up then kisses Petunia)
Archibald: It's only because I can't wait.
Petunia: I know.
(Petunia kisses Archibald's nose then they press their foreheads together)

Archibald: Happier than I've ever been.
(Petunia leans against Archibald while they hold the kids close)

Mr. Nezzer: Right now, sweetheart.
(Esther opens her eyes then Mr. Nezzer opens up the box then Esther gasps when she sees a pendant style necklace with a pink colored crystal in the middle)
Esther: Nebby, it's...it's beautiful.
Mr. Nezzer: I decided that my wife deserves something pretty-looking to wear.
(Esther smiles then kisses Mr. Nezzer)
Esther: Thank you.
(Mr. Nezzer holds out the necklace)
Mr. Nezzer: Let's see how it looks.
(Esther turns around then Mr. Nezzer puts the necklace around her neck then she turns back to face Mr. Nezzer while he stares at her entranced)
Mr. Nezzer: (Softly) Stunning.
(Esther kisses Mr. Nezzer then 'hugs' him then they press their foreheads together)
Esther: I love it.
(Mr. Nezzer kisses Esther)
Mr. Nezzer: I'm glad you do.
Esther: And now it's time for me to give you my anniversary present.
Mr. Nezzer: You have an anniversary present for me?
(Esther nods)
Mr. Nezzer: What is it?
Esther: Well, it's something that's for both of us actually.
Mr. Nezzer: Uh-huh?
Esther: And it's something you can't return either.
Mr. Nezzer: Hmm. Sounds pretty special.
Esther: It is. (Fiddles with Mr. Nezzer's tie) And it's something we've both been wishing for for awhile.
Mr. Nezzer: Oh?
Esther: And like I said, it's something you really can't take back.
(Mr. Nezzer kisses Esther then invisibly removes a strand of hair away from her eyes)
Mr. Nezzer: Sweetheart, if it's from you, I'll love it anyway.
Esther: (Hopeful) You would?
Mr. Nezzer: I sure would.
Esther: Even if it's a baby?
Mr. Nezzer: Especially if it's a baby and...
(Mr. Nezzer's face quickly dawns in realization then he quickly looks down at Esther's stomach in surprise then back up at her)
Mr. Nezzer: (Stuttering) Essie...? Are you...?
(Esther nods)
Esther: We're gonna have a baby, Nebby.
(Mr. Nezzer looks at Esther then kisses her romantically then they pull away)
Mr. Nezzer: (Hopeful) Is the doctor sure about this?
Esther: Yep.
(Mr. Nezzer kisses Esther then leans down towards her stomach then presses close to it)
Mr. Nezzer: (To Esther's stomach, softly) Hey, you. I'm Daddy. I want you to know that you're loved already but I would appreciate it if you didn't make Mom sick in the morning all the time.
(Esther giggles then Mr. Nezzer kisses her stomach then stands back up then he kisses Esther then smiles warmly at her with tears welling in his eyes)
Esther: Nebby, why are you crying?
Mr. Nezzer: Well, out of joy, first of all. And also, (looks down at Esther's stomach then back up at her frowning in concern) Essie honey, how can you be calm right now? We're gonna have a baby and there's...there's still so much to do.
(Esther giggles then kisses Mr. Nezzer)
Esther: I'm not worried because I know I've got you on my side to be there for me and the baby through and through.
(Mr. Nezzer smiles then kisses Esther's forehead then carefully invisibly pulls Esther closer to him)
Mr. Nezzer: You're gonna be an amazing mom, you know.
Esther: And you're gonna be an amazing dad.
(Mr. Nezzer and Esther kiss)
