AN: I actually wanted to write this fanfic for a long time, but I can't find the courage to. I will do my best to be able to make you guys happy with this story. I'll appreciate it if you guys leave positive comments, they'll boost my confidence for writing. I don't mind the criticisms either.

Disclaimer: I don't own Barbie as Rapunzel or Barbie, though I wish I do :(

Princess Rapunzel and Prince Stefan were living happily at his palace, and he also promised to let Rapunzel visit her parents twice a week to spend time with them. Life after all the commotion and problems happened couldn't be any better. Rapunzel finally got to discover the truth about her parents and being able to get married to the love of her life, whom she wished she'd told the truth about Gothel sooner, however Stefan forgave her as be believed it isn't simply her fault Gothel attempted to almost destroy the kingdom.

One morning, Rapunzel woke up as usual from her bed beside Stefan, hair messed up, and her clothes somewhat messy. She fixed her dress and her hair, she gotta admit though, that her hair was kinda hard to brush since it once again grew back to its original length. She tried consulting her husband about cutting her hair again, yet he found her lomg hair more beautiful than ever, and decided not to cut it anymore. "Honey, long hair looks better on you" Stefan complimented her, this isn't the first time he has complimented her hair. Every chance he gets, he'll touch it and brush out the curls. "You don't need to say that, my dear if my hair is an actual mess. I'd rather you insult me than lie to me." Rapunzel said. "I AM serious. I'm not lying, your hair does look beautiful. I could look at it a thousand times and still find it pretty". Stefan then blushed a bit when he said that, he does lie sometimes, but when it comes to his beloved wife, he wouldn't dare insult her. "Oh, if you say so, darling." Said Rapunzel.

King Frederick on the other hand, is really bothered with preparing for the couple's first year anniversary together as a married couple. I don't wanna mess up my plans, what if this doesn't go the way I planned? I've disappointed Stefan once, and I won't do it again! his thoughts kept on crushing him every moment he thinks of them. He then felt a pat on his shoulder. "Father, you're worried again..." Stefan said. He turned around to look at his son with his younger daughters and son beside him. "Yeah, I think you should just relax, daddy" Katrina said, trying her best to comfort her. "Daddy, I'll help you!" Tommy said.

"Oh, you kids don't need to spoil me. I'm just worried for your big brother's anniversary with Rapunzel." King Frederick said. He had no choice but to admit the truth about his thoughts. "Father, I'm sure whatever you're planning for us, we'll love it. We appreciate your effort for us." Stefan said while patting his father on the back. Melody and Lorena agreed with him and with their sisters and brothers, hugged their father. "Thanks, my dears. I appreciate the kind words. Now I'm off to work!" King Frederick dismissed his children and went back to preparing the small venue for the celebration.

Two and a half hours later...

"Darling, I have a surprise for you.." Stefan told Rapunzel. "Do you know it is our anniversary, darling?" Rapunzel asked him, trying to remind her husband. "Of course, that's why I'm here to surprise you." Stefan told his wife, comforting her. "Okay, lead the way then." Rapunzel then closed her eyes, allowing Stefan to lead her to the venue.

Stefan walked Rapunzel on the castle gardens, where the wedding anniversary celebration will be held. Stefan was really excited to show his wife what they had prepared for their anniversary. *

"Are we there yet?" Rapunzel asked, determined to know how much longer it'll take, at the same time, she's eager to sit somewhere for her legs were already painful from walking a little long. The castle was a huge place, and the gardens were a little further from the palace considering the king owned a huge land. "Yes yes, just wait. We're almost here" Stefan tried his best to comfort his wife. He had been getting a little impatient too.

After a little more walking..

The two finally arrived to the place where the celebration is to be held. "Okay, open your eyes now. " Stefan gently said, a smile spread on his face. As Stefan took off the blindfold from Rapunzel's eyes, she couldn't believe what she saw. The entrance was filled with pink roses scattered on the floor. There were pink roses on vases, the aroma of freshly cooked chicken, there were also mashed potatoes for side dishes, and there was a large vase full of drinks. There were platters of food layed on the table, and most importantly, the couple were greeted by their family members. "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" The family greeted the two. "Thank you guys" the two thanked the family members. The little girls hugged Rapunzel while Tommy fist bumped his older brother.

The two had a great time spending it with their family members and King Frederick knew his plan had worked. They then went to tell stories to each other, laugh, play games, and admire the beautiful night scenery.

Rapunzel and Stefan then shared a kiss as a toast to their anniversary. They then headed back to the palace by 10 in the evening.

The couple had a small conversation before sleeping. "I couldn't be any happier than now." Rapunzel said. "Me too. It's all thanks to them." Stefan said, praising his father and siblings for their effort. "True, and I truly treasure this night, may it forever be a wonderful memory." Rapunzel gently said to her husband. "True. I love you so much, my dear." Stefan said. "I love you too, darling", the two then share one last kiss for the day and slept. This night was truly memorable for them, and this was one of the things they were grateful for and will forever be in their hearts.

AN: Thank you for reading all the way here. It's really a pain to type in mobile for long hours, and this idea took me days to be able to write this story. Anyways, have a good day everyone. I will be writing more Barbie fanfics soon.
