When my planet exploded my parents sent my twin sister and I in separate pods to escape destruction at the age of 13.

I had been trapped in the phantom zone for over 1000 years and finally I was able to make it out

I landed safely on earth only to discover that it was practically a wasteland with savage people.

Once my power began to show themselves a man came, he is Titus, flaimkeipa and he began to train me to be a personal guard for the next heda as our last was assassinated, he didn't understand what was happening to me any better than I did but he did his best, when the conclave revealed my friend Leksa to be the new heda I trained harder, of all other trikru she treated me with the most respect and was the first to extend her friendship.

She and Titus keep my powers a secret, I am a weapon only to be unsheathed when the time is right.

My name is Rom-El, most everyone calls me Rome and I have yet to give up hope of finding my sister.

After my training was over I took my place following heda Leksa everywhere she went to keep her safe.

5 years later a ship dropped out of the sky into trikru territory.

I requested to check it out myself but Titus reminded me my duty is first and foremost keeping the commander safe.

I have regretted not looking into it myself when 300 warriors burned up.

300 people I knew. I already lost my planet, this loss felt almost the same.

"Heda, if I may?" I asked and she nodded

"Please, let me use my abilities to help you against these sky people."

"The mountain has them now Rome, whatever threat they posed is no more" she replied.

"Let me surveil them heda, they'll never know I'm there."

"Rome your duty is to protect the commander." Titus says before Leksa can reply.

"Then I am not being used to my full potential flaimkeipa."

"Are you saying spying on the sky people is more important than keeping your heda safe?" She asks.

"Never commander, I am only saying that these sky people use weapons like the mountain men use, to allow them to roam free without observation is a mistake."

"So you question my decisions then?"

"leave us Titus." She commands and he does

"I understand how you are feeling Rome, the story you told me of your people being destroyed and you the only survivor, so I know where this is coming from. But I promise you, the sky people are being watched, do not worry. I would send you if I could but I need you here to protect our people." She says

"Yes heda." I reply "someone is coming"

the doors burst open and a messenger runs in.

"Heda one of our villages has been attacked, one of the sky people named Finn murdered several unarmed people."

"Gather the troops, we leave within the hour for the sky people's encampment."
