Harry opened his eyes with a sense of wonder. The war was over. The final battle hadn't been a dream, the war was finally finished. Now what?
He frowned as he stared up at the canopy over his bed. He'd spent so much time agonising over defeating Voldemort – and half-expecting to die in the process – that he hadn't truly let himself think about what he wanted to do after that.
He sighed, he supposed that since his first thought hadn't been to marry Ginny – either now, or after the battle had finished – that he had better give that up as a fantasy. First things first, he needed to talk to her about it. He frowned at his surroundings. Then after that, he seriously needed to redecorate Grimmauld Place.
After that, well, he'd decide that when he came to it.
