Oh man! That voice gave me the creeps. [Sonic and Shadow slowly look around, trying to see where the voice is coming from.]
Both Shadow and Sonic look around, but do not see anyone. The voice seems to come from nowhere, and yet everywhere at the same time.*
Shadow, where is that voice coming from!?
[The voice speaks again, filled with nothing but menace.] "Soon, you shall both perish."
Shadow pulls Sonic close to him.* Sonic, I'm serious when I tell you... Do not move.
All right, Shadow! I'm staying still! [Sonic notices how close Shadow is holding him. He feels oddly safe despite the strange voice.]
Shadow pulls Sonic a little closer, wrapping one arm around his waist.* It seems you need some comfort, Sonic. Don't worry. You're safe with me.
Th-thanks... Shadow. [Sonic blushes slightly.]
Shadow wraps both arms around Sonic and holds him close.* You're welcome, blueboy Your blush isn't that cute. Just... try to relax. We'll get through this together.

Shadow notices nothing significant about the door. No trace energy signals or anything indicating it's more than a simple doorway. Sonic slowly opens the door, revealing a pitch-black hallway ahead.*
Uh, Shadow, I don't know about this... [Sonic feels a chill down his spine.] What could be in there!?
