Nightmare of Love

In the enveloping darkness, Tione and Finn stood apart from the others, alone under the shimmering stars. Moonlight bathed their skin in a silvery glow, creating an intimate atmosphere.

Tione felt her heart pounding in her chest. The beats echoed in her ears, so loud she thought Finn could hear them too. But her words remained trapped in her throat, overwhelmed by the fear of rejection.

The wind picked up, swirling her hair around her face, intensifying the moment even more.

"I... I love you, Finn," she finally said, trying to gather her courage. "I know it's complicated, but I can't deny what I feel."

Finn locked his gaze into Tione's eyes. His expression turned serious, and his face reflected the sadness of his words. "Tione, I... I don't want to hurt you, but a romantic relationship between us would be impossible," he said in a soft, sorrowful voice.

Tione refused to be discouraged. She wanted to try once more, to show him that their love could overcome anything. So, she took a deep breath and tried to express her feelings again.

"I love you, Finn, and I know you have other priorities, but I believe we can make it work."

But before she could say anything else, Finn cut her off sharply with a piercing, icy gaze.
