The Supreme Deity was still nowhere done in her rant of displeasure and she still had in her mind to make sure she did not finish until her daughter and Ludociel's subordinate arrived.

Meanwhile, Mael was urgently searching the Supreme Deity's palace in the hope that he would find Elizabeth and Nerobasta nearby. Otherwise, he would have to search the Goddess Realm and that could take quite some time. Unfortunately for him, the Supreme Deity did not have that much patience today, at all.

As Mael was flying trying to keep an eye out for those he was supposed to find, he thankfully felt familiar auras and presences nearby. The source of the presence was behind a tall entryway and as he approached closer realized they were together.

'How odd,' thought Mael, as he knew it wasn't common that Nerobasta and Elizabeth were in each other's company. The two shared a considerable age gap. Though they didn't get on each other's nerves, Nerobasta still thought of Elizabeth as quite a young girl and even foolish at times which Elizabeth could sort of pick up on although it was unspoken. So, the two just don't really hang out.

Unlike her best friend, Jelamet, who is also a Divine Lance Corporal but not a subordinate to an Archangel. Elizabeth was almost always around prior to the war and they had been very close for decades but that made sense as they were much closer in age.

Anyway, as Mael opened the door, although he was expecting to only see Elizabeth and Nerobasta, he also happened the see Jelamet with the two which slightly made more sense.

Nerobasta was silently sorting through and organizing some paperwork with a tense and stoic expression on her face which was contrary to the two younger Goddesses she was with. Jelamet and Elizabeth were chatting about what they were up to while away from each other.

Despite this, the three of them all stopped what they were doing when they saw Mael open up the door to the area they were in.

"Sir Mael, it is very nice to be greeted with your presence," Jelamet said, smiling.
Elizabeth looked over at her friend, then at Mael, and laughed, knowing how her friend felt about him.
"You as well, Jelamet," Mael replied back, slightly grinning.

"Sir, is something wrong?" Nerobasta questioned in her mid-tone, sonorous voice, moving his direction.
"Oh yes, most definitely," Mael replied, causing Elizabeth's eyebrows to frown with concern.
"The Supreme Deity urgently requested for you and Princess Elizabeth."
"What for?" Elizabeth asked.
"I don't really know but she did yell at my brother, Sariel, and Tarmiel so I'm assuming it's related to Stigma," he replied.
"Ooo, y'all gone get it…" Jelamet said, eyeing Nerobasta and Elizabeth.
"Yea, seriously," Mael commented.
"Can you please wait for me nearby, I don't know if I'll need medical help when I'm done," Elizabeth told Jelamet.

"We need to get going, now," said Mael, exaggerating with seriousness his words.
Elizabeth and Mael were the first to exit the room and take off. Nerobasta somewhat delayed as she slowly passed by Jelamet, saying "Pray for us," as Jelamet put her hand on her shoulder.
"I'll see if I have time to before she gets violent. And, don't worry about the rest of the paperwork, I'll sort it out for you as I was supposed to be helping you," Jelamet replied, somewhat grinning but still quite concerned.
"Thank you miss," Nerobasta replied somewhat jokingly as she waved and caught up to Elizabeth and Mael.

It really did not take long to make it to the Supreme Deity's throne room and sure enough once it was in sight, Elizabeth ceased flying and began to walk, as she wanted to make it a point to take her time.

Mael and Nerobasta followed her move but still made sure that they moved slightly in front of her as they were scared of what the Supreme Deity might do had she found out they were slacking.

"Why is she yelling?" Elizabeth asked Mael. Nerobasta looked at Elizabeth and Mael as she herself was just as dumbfounded.
"I don't know and don't really want to know," he replied.

The three approached even closer to the tall threshold and Nerobasta then quietly questioned "Is she swearing?" The other two Goddesses with her tried to listen closely and then nodded, increasingly more concerned than they were just a few moments ago. Mael had barely reached for the door to knock before the Supreme Deity yelled from inside, interrupting her rant, "Get in here!"

In response, Nerobasta and Elizabeth somewhat ran as to urgently push the door open as they could tell how serious she was.

Mael stepped back and chose to wait outside rather far from the door but close enough so that he could hear what was going on. The Supreme Deity hadn't hollered anything about it so he assumed he was fine where he was.

Upon entering, Elizabeth and Nerobasta were somewhat surprised to see 3 of the Four Archangels in such an uncomfortable state. Elizabeth ended up entering before Nerobasta did as she had the intention of calming down her mother. As Nerobasta shut the door behind her, she looked to her superior, Ludociel, who frowned at her.

In response, she gestured "What?" back at him, somewhat crudely, remaining by the door with her arms crossed. This surprised Ludociel to see such "improper" behavior from one he perceived to be classy. Sariel and Tarmiel witnessed it as well yet remained quiet. Although Sariel did chuckle a little, causing Ludociel to look back as if to threaten him but Sariel didn't care.

In spite of their odd interaction, the room was still tense as Elizabeth approached her mother. What would she do? What could she say?
