hey everyone, I'm so sorry that I have not updated any more of the story . I've kind of had a severe writers block and had no ideas for what the next chapter should be.. I also was busy over the holidays as well with Christmas and New Year's.

Despite my absence, I am going to try to make another part to the story. I'm not going to give up or abandon the story, but I will probably take breaks every once in a while.. I will also be having surgery next week, so I do apologise in advance if I do not update at all.

in the previous chapter Prince gumball and Marshall are transported to another world. Fiona and cake have also been transported to the land of ooo. Princess bubblegum is still figuring out a way to bring back. Finn and Jake home while Marceline is having fun with Fiona and cake. Now on with the story.

Finn and Jake, we're getting settled into the powers, and we're having dinner with Ariel and Eric and Melody. Throughout the meal, Finn cannot take his eyes off of melody.. the young princess eventually caught him staring at her.

"so then, how did you and your dog come to our world?" Asked aerial with curiosity.

"well it's kind of a long story's we have princesses in our land as well, and Bonnie was the one who sent us here. We call her princess bubblegum and she is a scientist as well as the Princess of the Candi kingdom. " Finn and Jake explained..

"well, she must be a very smart princess. I also see that you have taken an interest in my daughter Melody. Do you wish to court her because you both are very young" asked Eric, as he was looking at his daughter..

"no sir, I'm currently single. I did have a girlfriend at one point, but we broke up. I think it's just best that we stay friends for now.."

when is the awkward dinner was over? Finn and Jake were sent to their guest room to stay for as long as they needed.. meanwhile, in Atlantica, Gilda was creeping around the palace, and watching king triton. The king looked very sick and he was about to give away any day now.. his daughters were constantly by his bedside, watching and waiting. They were dreading the day of their fathers passing, because that would leave them to rule the kingdom..

of course, Ariel did not know anything about her fathers sickness and possible impending death. She was far too busy with the family of her own, as well as exploring the surface as a human.. she knew that she could always return to the Sea and become a mermaid once more. Later that evening king triton took his last breath..

as the tales of mermaids had been told king, Triton died and dissolved to seafoam and ceased to exist. The next day, the whole kingdom mourned for their late king triton and gave condolences to the six daughters of king triton.. king triton was now in the afterlife with his queen Athena.

The six sisters were debating on, who should go to the service to let Ariel know of the devastating news. Unfortunately, it was Angelina's turn to take their knees melody down for their daily swim, so she would be the one to break the news to aerial..

that morning, Finn, Jake, Melody and Max were on the beach playing volleyball. Andrina rose to the shore and called for a melody.

"hello Melody, will you do me a favour and please go get your mother for me I have some terrible news to give her,"

The young princess did as she was told, and went to fetch her mother.

"hello Andrina, are you here to take Melody out for the day?"

"yes I am, but I sadly have some terrible news to tell you and Eric. Father has sadly passed away.. we will be holding a memorial service at the Kingdom courtyard tomorrow night. I hope that you and your family are able to attend. If we must, we may turn, Eric also into a Merman." Explained Andrina to aerial teary-eyed.

"wait… What do you mean that Daddy is dead… This can't be happening. I will let Eric know right away, but please do not tell Melody until I can tell her myself."

The sisters agreed, and Andrina continued to take melody to the ocean for their day out.

Ariel was devastated, and Eric could see that something was the matter. It was very, unlike Ariel to not touch any of her food during meals unless she was sick or depressed. Finn and Jake could also see that Ariel was not herself.

deep in the depths of the ocean, Gilda was looking into her crystal ball. She could see that her plan was slowly unfolding.. with king, triton now out of the way, all she had to do was figure out what to do with the sisters. Once she got her hands on the Royal Crown and Triton, she could be the Queen of the ocean..

"I am finally going to do with my two siblings could not do. I'm finally going to take over the ocean. King triton is now out of the way, and all I have to do is figure out how to get rid of his daughters and a grandchild.. it would be easy to get rid of Prince Eric because he is a human. There is no way that he could turn into a mermaid and he would drown.. my plan is slowly unfolding itself, and I will once again be victorious."

so here is chapter 10. I kind of forgot the name I chose for the new Seawitch so I am going with the Gilda. If you have read my story up to this point, thank you so much.. hopefully chapter 11. Will be posted by this weekend or sometime next week.. I apologise in advance for any mistakes in my story. This is my first fanfiction on .. i'm also posting this story on my Wattpad account.
