Nikki was currently laying on her bed, sobbing into her pillow. She never thought she'd be sobbing like over her ex boyfriend's sister after their breakup. Why would she lie? Weren't they friends? But it wasn't just friendship for her. She wanted Gwen with her. Kissing her, being in her arms, being held by her, going out on dates. But it wasn't like Gwen even felt the same way. If she did then it wouldn't have been so easy to lie to her all those weeks.

It wasn't like she didn't love Nate or anything. He had his moments, but he never made her feel the way Gwen made her feel. No one could. Being with her…felt like home. In ways she never expected. Hearing her laugh, the way she was so confident, how passionate Gwen was in her beliefs. She loved just being with her, whether they're just talking, watching tv, playing board games, or just painting each other's nails.

But she lied. That means she doesn't care enough.

Nikki clutched onto her pillow and blew her nose. Right then, Julie ran to her bed and licked her face. Nikki chuckled, "Hey Julie. Who's the cutest dog in the world? You are. Yes, you are." She saw Julie looking at pictures of her and Gwen. Nikki but her lip, trying to control her sobs. Right then, she heard a knock on the door. Nikki continued to cry, "Please go away…"

Right then, Sam opened the door and walked in. "Darling." She walked towards Nikki and pulled her into a hug. She hated seeing her daughter cry like this. Her break up with Nate must've been hard. "You'll find someone else one day. Nate's not the only man out there." Nikki shook her head, "This isn't about Nate. At all."

Sam looked at her, "Gwen?" Nikki chuckled and wiped her tears. "I just feel so stupid. She knew about Nate and Leia the whole time and lied. She didn't even care enough to tell me. I had to find out while hearing her on the phone." Sam kissed her head, "It'll be okay honey." Nikki nodded, deciding to take her word for it. But it all just hurts too much. She let her guard down. And where did that get her? Heartbroken and sobbing in her bedroom.

Right then, her phone buzzed. Sam let go of her and took a look. Nikki began to tear up when seeing the contact. It was Gwen. But talking to her would just hurt. And she didn't want to be hurt anymore. Nikki wiped her tears and took a deep breath. She put on a fake smile, "Thanks mom. I feel a lot better." Nikki got up and began to head downstairs. I know what not to do now.
