"So let me see if I got this right. After being attacked by the demon brothers you decided to keep moving even though the client lied and the mission was moved to B rank. Then you fought zabuza and his unknown apprentice with the ice release and they had the S rank criminal kiasame of the mist with them. William was the deciding factor thanks to his strategy and usage of the turtle summons. After that kisame left since he was just supposed to help zabuza fight then leave. Afterwards you rested and trained as you waited for the bridge to be completed before returning home. Am I missing anything?" the hokage askes.
"William had a mental breakdown and slept a few days while Jake and Sam fought over who gets to keep the head cleaver that zabuza was wielding. Other than that. No."Kakashi supplies.
The hokage nods and smokes his pipe for a moment as he thinks. We are in the council room and the clan heads are here as well. Don't know why this is the debriefing situation but I guess it's not my problem.
"We should dock the pay of Kakashi and Sam for allowing the mission to continue. The genin performed wonderfully given the circumstances. Although I believe that Nara should give the turtle contract to Sasuke uchiha. The might of the turtles would vastly help young sasuke." an old guy with one eye states calmly. He is wrapped in bandages and has a scar shaped like an X on his chin.
"My god. I can't give him the contract since there is one way to get the contract. Unless you can draw blood on the boss of the turtles, who can take a tailed beast bomb and get maybe an itch. The only way i did it was by using my shadows and a fuck ton of luck. Even then it was a paper cut and the boss respected my determination." I groan.
"What about the secret way kisame mentioned? Sasuke could use that method. You will tell us and then sasuke can have the contract." the old man responds. Don't like him.
"I can't tell him the secret method. That's a secret of the turtle clan and if i tell anybody the method then i get kicked out of their clan before they eat me.'' I keep telling people that my summons belong to me. Why doesn't anybody listen?
"That's a price we of the council are willing to pay in order to strengthen the uchiha clan." the old guy snaps. Fuck you.
"Oh? Then get jiraiya in here. Let's just have him tell us everything about his clans sage mode and their secret katas. The boss summon can literally hear whatever is happening to his summoner if it involves him. If I start to tell you how to get the contract without combat then I'm reverse summoned before he devours me! I'll die for my village but I'm not dying just so that arrogant prick can get stronger!" I yelled at him.
"Danzo! That is enough! If William does not wish to relinquish the secrets of his summons then he will not be forced to!" the hokage yells at the old guy.
"Plus the uchiha clan has a contract. Itachi took it with him though." I grumble.
"Wait. since when did the uchiha clan have a summoning contact?" asks a feral looking woman. I think that's tsume of the inuzuka clan.
"Damn your ears are good. All clans have a summoning contract. The demons that gave a clan their unique traits will also give them a contract for lesser demon relatives." I will explain after talking to tsume. Nobody seems to understand. Shit.
"Alright. I'm gonna use the inuzuka clan for my example. Long ago there was a ninja that weaponized his dog and found ways to use the canine in combat. A dog demon saw this and respected the man. The dog demon then bred with the man and bestowed two gifts alongside this. Well, technically three but the baby shouldnt count. The demonic blood in the inuzuka clan granted them dog-like features, enhanced senses and a set of sharp claws/fangs. The demon then gave them the summoning contract for a lesser race of canine demons, maybe dogs or wolves, hell, the contract could have been for hyenas. The demon also bred with the man's dog and the children became the inuzuka's specially bred dogs they use for combat, how else would a dog live twenty years and still be able to keep up with a jonin level ninja? The contact was passed down from clan head to clan head most likely since the dog demons only respect the leader of a pack. That means tsume has her clan's contact and itachi has the contract of the uchiha clan. If I'm not wrong then the contract is for ravens. The ravens will pick the strongest member of the clan and grant him their contract. Itachi is anbu, maybe sannin, level. Until he dies or sasuke gets stronger than him, the contract will not part with him.'' I will explain. God that's a lot of talking.
"How do you know this?" asks a man that's wearing a full coat, fedora, face mask, and long jeans.
"I can use shadow to travel from place to place. Think of it as a vent. I go into the vent in this room and walk out in the hokage's office. The more chakra used, the more distance traveled. I decided to try out using most of my chakra and ended up in hell. I met the demon that gave my clan their abilities and it introduced me to the others. Turns out a week of real time is a month in hell." I replied with a shrug. Not my smartest move.
"May i ask about the demons for our clans?" asks the man.
"I mean. I don't know if the other clans are okay with that." I sigh.
The clan heads agree that they don't mind the others hearing this. Sasuke looks curious and arrogant somehow. Guy has to be training in keeping his arrogant air.
"Alright. The inuzuka has the blood of a dog demon with a name I can't pronounce. Demon tongue is hard to speak, kinda easy to understand after a month of hanging out with them. The demon was kinda rude but she was very honest. Apparently using shadows and stealth is a cowardly way to fight. The Akimichi clan has the blood of a glutton demon. He could eat large amounts of food and then convert that to pure power. He showed me a few tricks and I'm honestly disappointed in your clan. The akimichi clan just gets bigger while the demon could vomit his food in a wave of flaming bile that melts trees like nothing. He could also convert his energy into a beam of power. Guy was nice but way too friendly, cracked a few ribs when he hugged me. The aburame clan has an insect demon. The demon uses its own body as a hive for lesser insect demons and it was very odd, he was mostly curious about his legacy. He did ask if you have figured out how to replace your body parts with insect parts to increase combat effectiveness. The Yamanaka clan has the blood of a mental demon. It uses long thin limbs to crack skulls and devour brains after stunning its victim with a mental attack. The thing was mean. Kept insulting my intelligence. The uchiha clan has the blood of a slime. The slime mimics its victims and uses that power to consume them. I don't know how they got illusions from that but the slime did try to eat me so I had to bail quickly. I didn't meet the hyuuga clan demon. Apparently there isn't one and the hyuuga clan has angel blood. Hence their ability to see through walls and their incredible accuracy. Angels are said to prefer accuracy over power." I told them.
Everyone nods and we are dismissed from the council chambers. I groan before looking over to see that Jake and Sam are in a full on brawl over who gets to keep the giant sword from zabuza. James groans at this and he leaves quickly.
