Chapter 2 - Lost Without A Cause

Naruto makes it to Wave Country and after seeing Inari and Tsunami, and learning of Tazuna's death. The blonde stays with Inari and Tsunami for a month, he then moves on, boarding a ship but he doesn't know where it's going, but he frankly doesn't care.

Inside the infamous Rocket Game Corner, a tall woman with red hair and purple eyes is dressed in a black and red maid's uniform, she is bringing drinks to a group of customers.

She sighs.

'I wonder if there's any word on him yet?' Kushina thinks to herself as she returns to the kitchen.

"Hey Girlie, this isn't what the one of the customers you just served ordered!" Tomoko, the Floor Manager yelled at Kushina as she stormed into the kitchen and threw the drink right in Kushina's face.

Kushina drops her head, shadowing her eyes, she also grits her teeth.

"Well, I apologize, Tomoko-san, but did you have to throw that drink in my face?"

"Ha! You're lucky that's all I d-." she began to say, but was cut off by Kushina grabbing her roughly by the collar of her shirt, lifting the orange-haired woman clear off her feet.

"And you're lucky that Giovanni-san asked me not to kill anyone, and that he's bringing my Son here, but if you do ANYTHING else to me, you'll beg to be trampled to death by Giovanni-san's Rhydon." the redhead said, the lingering threat hanging in the air like a spotlight.

Tomoko paled and as soon as Kushina set her down, she ran away from the redhead, utterly terrified.

(With Naruto)

Naruto is now on the boat inside a suite, he's sleeping, dreaming of Anko, Kurenai, and Yugao and wishing that he was still back in Konoha with his only real family.

(Konoha)

The next day, Kurenai walked into the Hokage Tower, an angry look etched on her face. An angry Kurenai is someone no one, especially perverts would want to cross, case in point, Ebisu, the Closet Pervert and instructor of Konahamaru Sarutobi, the Hokage's Grandson walked up to Kurenai, a wicked grin on his face.

"I see that Naruto isn't here-."

The Jounin was brutally kicked in the groin and sent flying into the nearby wall, cracking said wall.

"Shut up! Scum like you don't deserve to speak Naruto-kun's name!" Kurenai shouts, which brings out the Hokage and Yugao from Hiruzen's office.

The aged Hokage sighed as he looked at the knocked out Ebisu and the clearly enraged Kunoichi standing over his prone form.

"Why Ebisu, did you feel the need to agrivate one of the women who love Naruto more thier own lives?"

"What did you need, Kurenai?" asked Sarutobi.

"I'm here...to resign as a Kunoichi, Hokage-sama."

Sarutobi was in shock, hearing Kurenai's request, though he'd expected it after Naruto's banishment, the aged Leader didn't truly want to banish his surrogate Grandson, but as he'd told Naruto, he had to put Konoha first.

"Kurenai, you're a new Jounin, as well as a Genin team Leader and now you to just walk away from those responsibilities, what about Hinata, Kiba, and Shino? They're your students and you'd willingly abandon them?" he asked.

Kurenai narrowed her eyes at her Leader.

"Quite the hypocritical sentiment, eh, Hokage-sama?" she retorted, unafraid of his reprisal.

Sarutobi glared at the Genjutsu Mistress, but quickly softens his hard glare, knowing deep down that she was right.

"He trusted you and respected you, you know that?" Kurenai said, her angry crimson red eyes boring into his brown ones.

"I know." he said, sighing.

Just then, Anko and Yugao came into the office and without a word they removed their headbands and threw them onto the floor.

"The two of you resigning too?" the Third Hokage stated more than asked, getting two silent, sharp nods from Anko and Yugao.

(With Naruto)

The four day cruise ended for Naruto and the other passengers on the boat, they arrived in the Kanto Region. The ship docks at Covenshaw Port, Naruto leaves the ship with everyone else, almost instantly three members of Team Rocket begin tailing him.

"We've made contact, Command, over." the first Rocket, a young teenaged boy said into his microphone on his headset.

(Garbled Static)

"Understood." he said before turning two his two female teammates and gives them silent handsigns.

Meanwhile...

(Pallet Town, Ash's House)

Ash's Mom, Delia has just gotten a call from Giovanni, telling her of his second Son's arrival, he gives her a description of Naruto and orders her to take Naruto in and teach him everything she knows about Pokemon, she eagerly agrees and gets to work fixing up Ash's old room for her new houseguest.

(With Jessie, Meowth, and Misty)

The trio had been found and taken to the closest hospital for the two redheads and the nearest Pokemon Center for Meowth to get their injuries treated, all three of them were still reeling from the betrayals that they had endured.

Jessie couldn't belive that James had betrayed her and Meowth or the fact that he's now dating Cassidy and got her pregnant to boot.

Misty couldn't believe Ash turned on her, beat her up savagely, and stole her Psyduck and Starmie and the fact that he now apparently is in Team Rocket and Jessie and Meowth have excommunicated from the group, but why?

(With Naruto)

Naruto is walking through Pallet Town, the town was small and quaint. A homely place, Naruto smiled, he could really get used to living in a place like this, his senses peek when he senses the three people that were following him, he narrows his eyes and slowly reached for his sword.

The three Team Rocket members all freeze in place, the Leader signs for his teammates to leave, and they would try to aquire Naruto-san later." he said before they all vanished, Naruto sighed, releasing the grip on the hilt of his sword.

Once they were all gone Naruto relaxed and continued to walk around the town, then, Naruto saw a beautiful older woman coming up to him.

"Hello, Naruto, my name is Delia Ketchum and I want to welcome to Pallet Town and to Kanto.

"Thank you, Ms. Ketchum." Naruto said.

Naruto follows Delia to her house, where the three Rocket Team members are waiting for him.

Naruto stops as he senses the same three energies from before, without a word the blonde draws his sword and glares at Delia.

"You tricked me, I'll kill them, and then...I'll kill you." Naruto says coldly, the coldness in Naruto's voice made Delia's blood freeze in her veins.

She ran away from the blonde in absolute fear.

Naruto then turns to the three Rocket members.

"Now, all of you are going to die."

Naruto gets into the Hyabusa Sword stance, preparing to strike.

"Dancing Saber." Naruto says before lunging forward and killing all three Rockets with a single strike.

(With Ash, James, Cassidy, and Giovanni- Viridian City Gym, Viridian City)

"Well, it seems that the three operatives that we sent after your half-brother have failed, Ash." Giovanni said to his Son.

"I will make him see that he belongs with us, Father." Ash said.

Naruto then went to the hospital for a mild case of exhaustion, he's taken to Room 1187, which happens to be three doors down from Misty and Jessie's room as they are in 1184.

A Nurse Joy helps Naruto into the hospital bed.

"Please rest now, alright?"

He nodded before closing his eyes, falling into a dreamless sleep.

(In Konoha)

Life in Konoha had taken a drastic downturn, without Naruto's indomitable spirit and iron will to fall back on, everyone, Shinobi and Civilian alike has begun to suffer, Orochimaru and Suna attacked Konoha at the Chunin Exams. Sarutobi, Kakashi, Hayate Gecko, and around 2,000 Genin, Chunin, and Jounin had been killed by the enemy, but through sheer determination, the brave Shinobi and Kunoichi were able to repel Orochimaru's attack and severely injure Gaara from Suna, forcing the joint Oto/Suna forces to retreat, sparing the village from complete distruction.

Many people were injured, including Sakura, who had lost her right eye, left leg, and her... purity as she was violently gang-raped by Zaku, Dosu, and five Suna nins.
