The blue sky was laced with puffy white clouds as Cree, Delilah and Maurice were taking a stroll to the strip mall after they had done their homework at Delilah's house, with Delilah in the form of a large horse and her friends riding on her back.

Once they got there, Cree and Maurice got off of Delilah's back before she changed back into her human form. Walking in through the main entrance, the three teens felt a cool breeze wash over them, the giant building's fresh scents and many stores presenting itself. Delilah always found the sight and smell to be dazzling, her good eye glistening in wonder as she held Cree's hand.. Cree simply gave a light smile at her girlfriend's gesture. Seeing this, Delilah's smile faded a little, but not by much. Cree would usually give a warmer smile and tousle Delilah's hair when she displayed such affection, but this smile seemed a little.. forced. But she simply brushed it off as they went to a few stores, bought some clothes and books, and even got something to eat at the food court.

As they each ate their meal of choice, Delilah noticed Cree was wearing a grey, long-sleeve shirt under her pink crop top. "I must say, you look nice in a long-sleeve shirt, Cree," she said. Cree gives a soft chuckle in response. "Thank you, Lily," she softly crooned before taking another bite of the salad before her. She looked around before swallowing her bite of food, ".. pretty nice day for February, doncha think?"

Delilah nodded in agreement before taking a bite of her crispy chicken sandwich, "Indeed, it ain't so bad with the amount of sun shine we're getting today."

"The weather reporters on TV said it could get up to 47 degrees today, and honestly, I'm down for that," Maurice shrugged. Cree gave another light giggle as she finished her bowl of salad.

Once the three had finished their lunch, they all got up and strolled down the spacious hall ways to do some window shopping. Cree and Maurice went into the clothes store, but Delilah was more interested in a store that sold stuffed animals. She did more looking around, until she saw it.. a small, beautiful, pink and white fox plushie with a big, fluffy tail and a gold necklace. She let out a soft, dreamy sigh, as the plush doll very much reminded her of Cree and her love for foxes. She was about to pick it out before Maurice had called her name. "Delilah, it's time to go!"

"Be there in a moment!" Delilah called back before quickly taking the fox doll and reaching into the pouch of her hoodie. She placed some money onto the register, and the cashier thanked her, putting the plush into a bag. Delilah thanked the woman before leaving the store.

Maurice saw her holding the plastic bag and raised an eye brow, "what'd ya get from there?" Delilah chuckles before morphing into a kangaroo and putting the bag into her pouch. "It's a secret!" she chirped before bounding out through the automatic doors.

"Hey, wait for us!" Cree let out a playful laugh before activating her armor and flew out the door, carrying Maurice.

Delilah kept on bounding through the snow, giggling as she saw her two friends hovering over her. The short teen shifted into a penguin before sliding down a snowy hill on her belly with Cree and Maurice rolling after her, giggling like little kids.

As the afternoon passed, the three best friends had a short snow ball fight and built a snow-man with any snow they could get their gloves on.

Soon the sun had begun to set into the sky line, and it was time to go back home. Delilah carried Cree and Maurice on her back in her dragon form, a light snow shower sprinkling onto them. Soon Delilah dropped them off at their respective homes then crawled in through her bedroom window, instantly tucking herself into her bed and let out a long yawn, curling up and closing her eyes.. only to be woken up a few hours later in the middle of the night by someone frantically shaking her and audibly whispering.

"Delilah?? Delilah, get up right now!.." her eyes opened as she rolled over to see Chad and Stacey standing over her. They appeared to have rather panicked expressions. "Wh-what's goin' on?.."

"We'll explain it once we get there, just come with us!"
