Authors Note Leyton is together but they are only dating. Brulian aren't a couple. But he does like Brooke.

I planned to get over the feelings this was bringing up at home.

Watching trashy reality tv. While I re read these words for a final time before placing them on my coffee table.

This shouldn't be affecting me like this or at all. But I can't deny that it hurts my feelings and honestly makes me question our friendship. If that's even real. Brooke thought to herself.

She hadn't really gotten all the way into a rerun episode before she heard knocking at her front door. She knew it was him.

He found whenever she didn't want to be seen. Or when she needed him but didn't know how to say it.

She got up from where she was seated in the living room. And went into her entryway.

She unlocked the front door and looked up. Crossing her arms around herself.

As she glared at him.

(Why are you here? I didn't ask or want to come after me.) Brooke said.

(We need to talk alone. I don't want to put on a show for the neighbors.)

(Can I come in?) Lucas asked.

Brooke thought it over then opened her door. Lucas walked inside closing the door behind himself.

(I didn't write that part of the script. It's the truth Brooke whether you want to believe me or not.) Lucas stated matter of fact.

(You were clearly hurt by what was written and I'm sorry for that.) Lucas added in.

(It caught me off guard. And it's just hard to read about what a mess I used to be.)

(I worked to change my outlook and image but the truth is I was this girl.)

(And I have evolved but my actions mistakes bad choices did do damage to people and I've tried to make up for that. You know better you do better.)

(And thought if you didn't see how I've changed why would the world?) Brooke admitted.

Lucas looked back at her. (I know you're not that person anymore.)

(I had to find you and make sure you're okay. That you believe me and I needed to be sure our friendship wasn't affected by this. Are we alright?) Lucas questioned.

(We are. No need to worry.) Brooke replied.

Lucas breathed a sigh of relief. Reached over and hugged her.

Brooke smiled hugging him back.
