Chapter 3
You fall in love with rebounds every time. It protects you from the soul crushing heartbreak.
(I should go.) Lucas announced.
(You should. Peyton is waiting.) Brooke replied.
Once Lucas was gone. Brooke came to the realization on her own.
Julian had written those words. He's the only other person who could have creative control.
And that is how she found herself back at Red Bedroom Records.
She threw back the jacket he had given her and told him off. Making it very clear that the girl he had described and had envisioned in his mind had grown up. There was alot more to her then just sex.
He tried to defend himself but she was done. She was relieved she hadn't given him her heart. It would of made walking away so much harder.
She blocked his number and was back to her single status.

Peyton smiled up at Lucas. As he entered the home they were now living in together.
They were having a baby. Life was better than good.
She had everything she wished for. And was so sure it would all work out.

But once her and Lucas found out about the pregnancy complications.
That did change things. When Lucas suggested. Insisted she end the pregnancy.
She didn't look at him the same. Their relationship shifted after that.
She was having this baby and didn't care about what the consequences could be.

Lucas and angry frustrated scared. But he also loved this baby. And did want to be a father.

Peyton showed Brooke the video she had created for the baby.
(Will you promise me you won't let Lucas and our baby be alone?) Peyton asked.
(Of course. They will have me no matter what. But you are going to be fine.) Brooke replied.
