It was a simple ordinary evening at the table for a good lunch. Chilli was in the kitchen making sandwiches while Bluey and Bingo were helping her put cheese on the bread as Bandit read the newspaper. Bluey then spoke. "Dad."
"Yeah, mate?" Bandit asked as he barely looked up from his paper.
"How do you find PI?" She asked as her father gave an odd look at her.
"PI? You don't need to know that right now?" He stated. "If anything Bingo's the one who should be learning math!" He said jokingly.
"What!" Bingo said out loud as she dropped a slice of cheese on the kitchen floor.
"Bingo use your quiet voice when yelling." Chilli reminded her as she began to clean the mess with a napkin Bandit peeked from his newspaper before going back to reading when the sound of sirens blasted out of nowhere. Bluey and Bingo looked from the window seeing a few flashing lights.
"Mum, why are there police cars outside the yard?" The young blue heeler asked as both Bandit and Chilli stood still there was a loud knock on the door followed by a voice that shouted out.
"Bandit and Chilli Heeler we have a court order for your arrests, don't make this harder than it needs to be!" The outside voice said while the pounding on the door got louder and louder.
Bingo quickly held onto her sister out of fear as she didn't understand what was happening, Bandit and Chilli walked out of the kitchen holding each other's hands. "Dad, what's happening?" Bandit and Chilli were silent before gently embracing their daughters with a tight family hug the pounding got louder until Bandit walked to the front door and opened it as an old beagle in a police uniform was standing in front of it.
"Bandit and Chilli Heller?" The beagle asked the couple while looking at their young children. "You're under arrest for illegally moving artifacts, possession of stolen artifacts, and other serious charges." He stated that two officers began to place Bandit and Chilli in handcuffs while others started to lead Bluey and Bingo into a police car as the young red heller began to wail and cry for her mother while Bluey stayed silent.
Bandit sat in a metal chair his hands cuffed holding a cup of water as a Doberman sat in front of him in uniform while stuffing through a few papers before speaking to him. "You have a prominent reputation in your line of work. High honors from your co-workers and you decided to risk it all with serious crimes." He said looking Bandit in the eye. "These charges are serious Mr. Heller, you could be looking up to a lifetime in prison along with your wife Ch..."
"Leave her out of this!" Bandit demanded. "I did it it was all me, she had nothing to do with it!" He stated as his hands shook.
"Are you willing to also take the charges your wife is facing?" The Doberman asked. "That's about a few life sentences but we are willing to give you a plea brain once you come in contact with your lawyer you have to tell us everything, surely you didn't do this alone by yourself?" Bandit took a deep sigh before asking.
"What do you want me to do?"
Stripe sat calmly in his chair outside the pool enjoying a cold iced tea which he drank with a straw while getting a nice tan on his face his phone rang on the table which he picked up and answered and got a response from his wife Trixie. "Stripe, I was going out for groceries and using your card to pay for it when it declined," Trixie stated as Stripe shrugged it off.
"Must've been an error on the card, I'll get it replaced soon enough. He told Trixie. "Nothing to be worried about." Soon the call ended as Stripe returned to finishing his drink when his phone rang again. Now frustrated Stripe picked it up and answered it. "Hello."
"Thank god, hey Stripe I was wondering if I could talk to you, it's important... I messed up big time and wondered if I could talk to you about it?" Bandit spoke. "Meet me at the park alone it's serious."
Strip paused for a moment before he responded. "Anything for you brother."
After finding a decent parking spot, Stripe sat on a bench where Bandit was sitting alone. "Figured you'd take the Bluey and Bingo with ya?" Striped stated.
"Wanted some time away from them, I don't want them to know what we do," Bandit responded adjusting the small microphone in his ear. "I'm trying so hard but what if they find out when they are older? Socks and Muffin..."
Stripe cut him off. "Don't worry brother, I've made sure the money we both earn is clean, not even Radley knows about it and I'll be honest the oil rig story is a good cover for him to be honest." He said to Bandit. "No one is any wiser expert for Chilli but she'll never talk against us I know it."
Bandit sighed. "She won't but... there is someone who might." Stripe looked at his brother with confusion.
"And who that might be?" He asked as Bandit stood up as several police officers quickly surrounded the two Stripe was pinned to the ground as Bandit dropped to his knees as the two were cuffed.
"You set me up?!" Stripe yelled Bandit stayed silent as Stripe yelled and swore at him while being led away glaring at his brother with hatred.
