Chapter 7
I had spent 3 weeks in LA. Catching up and bonding Rachel.
Trying to convince her to move back to Tree Hill. And that didn't work. I expected that.
But I couldn't resist trying.
(Unlike you I have no roots tying me to that town.) Rachel explained.
(But who knows. I might pop up by surprise. And visit.) Rachel replied.
(You better. I miss you.) Brooke said.
Rachel hugged her tightly. As she waved goodbye.
Watching Brooke check in then go towards the terminal.
She waited until the airplane took off before walking towards the exit doors.
Once she got into her car and started to drive. She looked forward to being home.
And having her place to herself again. But once she got inside
She very quickly realized she wasn't alone at all.
Mr. McFadden. Out of every hotel room you could have stayed in you decided to come here and see me. Lucky me.) Rachel proclaimed.
(I figured since you gave me a key I might as well use it.) Mouth replied.
(Let's get you settled upstairs. In my bedroom. I'm sure are jet lagged so I'll be gentle.) Rachel said. With a seductive smile.
...
By the time Brooke landed in Tree Hill. She was ready to rejoin her life. And figure out what came next.
Her cell phone had been buzzing off the hook since she got seated and now it was silent.
Brooke felt her heart drop seeing various missed calls from Lucas.
She went through her texts and found one he had sent.
Peyton 's in labor. I need you.
The message read. So with her bags still unpacked.
Brooke drove to the hospital.
