Epilogue
Trust itself is one of the most important virtues there is. There will always be times when a person needs to rely on his or her own strength, wits, knowledge, and abilities. But what a person can't do on their own, they can do with the help of a friend. That's one of the many reasons why it's just as important to trust other people whether they be friends, family, teachers, etc.
Relying on their own strength has helped the heroes to discover their own abilities that set them apart from each other, but it has also helped them to share a bit of themselves in helping other friends and allies. And with the journey almost complete, the heroes are realizing they will need to put their faith in one another more than they ever did in the past; especially in Max, as she may hold the key to the final part of the whole mission.
With only three Cobalt Star shards left to covet, Yugi, Joey, Kaiba, and Emily are realizing that they must depend on Max. For as established, neither light nor darkness can live without each other. In addition, they must help their friends and allies in the other worlds to learn to trust her as well. Though Max has promised that she is a friend an ally to the heroes, even she is finding that concept to be challenged. In the end, their loyalty and feelings to each other could be their greatest strength. There's still no telling what will happen once the Cobalt Star will been reassembled, but Max and the heroes know what whatever may happen, they'll stay together to the end.
