Lucas got to the table. And was surprised to see that Peyton already had their lunch and drinks on the table.
(I got here early. I missed you this morning.) Peyton said.
(Sorry I left without saying anything I just needed to talk to Brooke.) Lucas replied.
Once again Lucas noted a reaction from Peyton just by mentioning Brooke.
(I'm sorry for saying all those terrible things. You know how I get about you.)
(How consumed with love and protectiveness I get. I just don't know how to show it the right way at times. You understand that.) Peyton replied.
(I meant what I said about wanting more then this dynamic between us.) Lucas said.
(I know and I knew if I let you figure it out on you're own it would happen.)
(I found the ring box in you're drawer. I recognized it right away. That's Keith 's ring.) Peyton said.

Brooke left her lunch with her mom to go home to Clay. He lifted her mood. And she was able to forget about everything else outside.
He went where he was needed with his clients. And made it so his schedule was open.
I loved him. I wanted to. In time I knew I would.
He loved me. It was just a matter of time before I felt the same.
Love takes time. Victoria always told me that. Passion. Love. Attraction. Were fleeting like happiness.
