Thor stretched his arms over his head, letting out a groan as he repositioned himself on the bed. Still half-asleep, Thor reached back to grab a spare pillow and tugged on it roughly, but it refused to move. He was confused by his inability to move the pillow, so he rolled onto his side to determine the source of his problem. Thor's eyes went wide as he realized someone was sound asleep next to him.
He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment before opening them again to look down at the person sleeping beside him. All Thor could see was black hair sprawled against the pillow. The blanket was covering his bedmate's face, so he reached over and pulled the blanket down slightly to reveal the last person Thor expected to find in his bed.
"What happened last night?" Thor groaned, scrubbing a hand over his face before carding it through his hair. He raised the blanket slightly, taking a look at his naked form beneath, confirming his suspicions as he let out a sigh. "This isn't good."
"Some of us are still trying to sleep," Loki groaned, nuzzling his head against the pillow as he pulled the blanket back up over his shoulder. "You should consider going back to sleep as well. You were keeping me quite warm."
"No, we need to talk about what happened here last night," Thor insisted, pulling the blanket away from Loki. He smiled when Loki rolled onto his back with his eyes still closed. Thor enjoyed the view for the briefest of moments, but there were more important things to discuss at the moment.
Loki propped himself up on an elbow as he turned to look at Thor, the man with the most beautiful muscles Loki had ever seen, who happened to be lying in bed right beside him. Loki took a moment to look Thor's body up and down once more before allowing himself to focus on the conversation at hand. "We met at a pub, enjoyed a few cocktails, and then retired to your apartment for the night. If it makes you feel better, you've got one hell of a tongue," Loki teased, pressing a hand to Thor's chest as he leaned in for a kiss.
Thor closed his eyes and leaned into Loki for a moment, but seconds before their lips met, he pulled away, shaking his head. "Don't distract me," Thor insisted as he pressed Loki back to the other side of the bed. "I've got a reputation to uphold, and having a one-night stand is not how I maintain that."
"If you were looking for more than that, you probably shouldn't have gone out drinking last night at a pub full of other single men who were just looking for a good time," Loki replied, rolling his eyes as he collapsed back on the pillow. "Let me sleep a little while longer, and then I'll go home. No one will ever have to know that you've had a one-night stand."
Thor shook his head. "No, that won't work."
Loki opened his eyes wide as he remained against the pillow. He glanced at Thor out of the corner of his eye. "Why not?"
"Because people saw us leaving the pub together last evening," Thor mumbled, pushing himself up to lean against the headboard as he tilted his head back, staring at the ceiling. "I'm sure the media has already picked up on the story, and I can't just go back out in public without reason for leaving with you last night."
"You could just tell people the truth," Loki replied, scrubbing a hand over his face. He grimaced when he heard Thor laugh at his idea. "So much for going back to sleep."
"The truth will ruin me," Thor exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air. "I'm supposed to be one of Asgard's most eligible bachelors, and I can't be seen coming out of pubs with random men at odd hours of the evening and bringing them home."
"Then lie," Loki said, rolling his eyes. "Tell them you were walking me home because I got too drunk. Tell them we just walked out of the pub together and went our separate ways at the street corner. Tell them whatever the hell you want to tell them. I just want to go back to sleep."
Thor thought about Loki's words for a moment, contemplating his next move. "I could tell them we were in a serious relationship," he mused aloud. He watched for Loki's reaction out of the corner of his eye.
"Tell them whatever you want, Thor," Loki groaned, closing his eyes as he started to drift back off to sleep for a moment before he opened his eyes wide and sat straight up. "You want to tell them that we are dating? We barely know each other."
"I know your body well enough," Thor growled, reaching over to stoke Loki's stomach, his fingers grazing the sensitive just below the thin sheet that covered his decency. "Besides, it's not like anything has to change. We can sleep and enjoy one another's company in bed but also, on occasion, be seen out having a drink or two. No one will know the wiser, and it can just be our little secret."
Loki rolled his eyes. "And what happens when you find someone else you'd rather have in your bed? What happens to me?"
Thor reached up to cup Loki's cheek, brushing his large thumb against the smaller man's cheek. "I'm not looking to find anyone else to share my bed."
"For now," Loki grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest.
Thor leaned forward and captured Loki's lips in a rough kiss, and he pulled away slowly as his hand trailed below the sheet. "Let me show you that I'm all yours," Thor growled in Loki's ear, sending a shiver down his spine.
Loki bit his lip as he felt Thor's hand nearing his cock. He wanted to protest, but the warmth of Thor's body against his, trailing kisses down his chest, was precisely what Loki needed at that moment. The warmth of Thor's breath against his skin elicited a whimper from Loki's lips. "Fine, we can tell everyone we're together," Loki groaned, sliding down so his head was on the pillow and Thor was towering above him on the bed with his hand wrapped around Loki's cock, stroking it gently. "Just stop teasing me."
"Your wish is my command," Thor replied with a smirk, pressing one more kiss to Loki's lips before disappearing under the thin sheet covering them both.
