Derieri, trying to make her plan work, abruptly put her drink down, and rising said "Umm, I gotta go do... something-"
"Like what?"
"To find Melascula- and make sure she doesn't drink herself to death"
"No- why would you do this to me?"
"Shush, you'll be fine" responded Derieri as she watched her sister's face begin to display disbelief and annoyance. She then bent over and said "Oh, and if you do end up hooking up with him, please don't bring him to our home"
"Ew- oh my goodness just go, go," said Rajine as she shooed her now laughing younger sister away. Estarossa, wanting to seize the opportunity, thought to go approach Rajine but was still hesitant. Instead, sat back, trying to come across as nonchalant, and watched to see what Rajine would do next. Rajine sighed. 'Great, now what do I do?' thought Rajine as looked over to Estarossa who was now looking in the direction opposite of her. 'Please, he's not even interested in me' thought Rajine. 'Or maybe he's trying to play with my mind?' her thoughts continued.

'Maybe I should go somewhere to see if he follows me or at least ends ups near me somehow?' thought Rajine as she smirked and decided to make her way to a nearby tavern.
Estarossa, not wanting to lose sight of Rajine, quickly hopped to his feet and almost ran up behind her and had to slow himself down to not seem creepy or scare her. Rajine turned her head to the sight of the 2nd demon prince and his tall muscular figure standing next to her. She felt a rush of adrenaline and nervousness in the pit of her stomach, not knowing how to respond to such a person. Estarossa, now becoming somewhat shy and awkward due to her acknowledgment was essentially thinking 'Crap- I' now turning into speech "I- well hello, my apologies for my sudden approach."
"Oh, no worries, Your Highness"
"No please call me Estarossa"
"Okay,"
'Wow maybe he is into me' thought Rajine.
"Well, Estarossa, is there a reason why you're speaking to me?"
"Of course- I mean, I don't know if you were headed anywhere but I wanted to know if I can take you out for a drink or something, I mean..."
"Sure, why not? Which place did you have in mind?"
"We could go right over there if that's fine by you?" "Sure!" Rajine replied. "Well, then, after you."

The two began to make their way towards the tavern which neither of them knew the name of, it was just convenient for what they were going to do. Estarossa was walking slightly behind Rajine, practically ogling her curvature. Rajine noticed his gaze from the corner of her eye, causing her to look downwards, and her cheeks began to feel hot.
'He's staring at me!' thought Rajine as she then tried to move her gaze forward but at the same time was reminded of what her younger sister had said earlier 'And? You're hot?'. 'There's no way, I'm playing myself' thought Rajine as she and Estarossa approached the entrance of the tavern. Estarossa attempting to come across as a gentleman opened the door for Rajine. "O- thank you" she replied somewhat shyly as Estarossa nodded in response to her. Honestly, he just wanted to see her more from behind without being too obvious...Anyway, they both made their way towards the bar seating area and Estarossa pulled out a chair for her to sit down in, causing the woman to blush even more. While waiting for the bartender to come their way as it was quite busy that night, they began to strike up a conversation with each other.

"So, are you familiar with this area, Rajine?"
"Well, sort of. My sister and Monspeet come to this area quite often and I'm usually always with Derieri when I can be if she's not in combat. I figure I should since I don't have anyone else to be with."
'Yes!' thought Estarossa. "Oh really? I guess that answers my next question; are you in a relationship with someone?"
"Not as of right now. I usually don't pay attention to the boys that try to get at me. They always come off as so sure of themselves. Egotistical. I hate that in a man."
"Figures," replied Estarossa "That's pretty much the same reason I haven't found someone. Except, it's concerning the women I encounter. Many seem to be vain and classless. Unlike you..."
Rajine chuckled in a short and surprised matter "Why- thank you, Estarossa. That was sweet and thoughtful of you to say."
"It was?" replied Estarossa somewhat confused. "Yea it was!" replied Rajine as she laughed at his response.
"You have a beautiful smile, Rajine." "Stop flattering me, my face is going to go completely red-"
"It's not flattery, it's the truth," replied Estarossa as their eyes met each other's, his hand on her face. Interrupted by the bartender "Sorry to interrupt but this is my job," she cleared her throat "What can I get you two love birds tonight?"
Rajine released a high-pitched squeal of embarrassment as she responded "No- it's fine. Um- I'll have something with light alcohol"
"And you sir?" asked the bartender
"Uh, the same as what she requested."
"Coming right up" replied the bartender as she made their drinks. They sat and watched her, still communing with one another, and said "Thank you" as she placed their drinks in front of them."How about you and I go somewhere quieter after we finish our drinks?" asked Estarossa.
"Whatever you want" replied Rajine sincerely.

They laughed and enjoyed each other's company as they sat at the bar, talking, beginning to seem somewhat intimate. The bartender came by again asking if they were done. "I'll pay," said Estarossa when Rajine reached down in a small purse she had with her. "Oh, thank you" replied Rajine. The two left and it was now nighttime. The moon was out and there was a cool breeze in the air. Estarossa let out his hand to Rajine, signaling he wanted to take her somewhere. She grabbed hold of his hand and they both took off. Estarossa led Rajine to a lakeside, in a quiet, peaceful, and visually appealing forest.

"Do you come here by yourself often, Estarossa?" asked Rajine.
"You could say that" he replied. They both sat down on a large rock quite close to each other, gazing at the moon.
"I had a great time with you tonight, Estarossa."
"I'm glad. I did as well. I have to admit, I've never found another that makes me feel as you do, Rajine."
"Feel what?" she asked playfully as they were now looking into each other's eyes.
"I don't know yet, but you make me feel so warm and comfortable. I know that sounds weird coming from me but-"
"Estarossa, it doesn't. That's beautiful. I know we're not taught this but feelings don't make you weak. They're a part of our existence as living beings. Ignoring them will only harm yourself."
Estarossa smiled and kissed her on her forehead. Surprisingly, they both felt entirely comfortable with such engagement with each other.
"I wish I could stay the night with you but it's probably wise we both head home. I'll see you tomorrow sometime?"
"Most definitely" replied Rajine.
"Can you get home from here?"
"Yes, I can. Have a good night, sweetheart" said Rajine as she took flight and Estarossa watched her leave. 'Guess I should be heading home as well' he thought to himself. Estarossa began to fly, thinking about what his love interest said to him. 'Sweetheart? Did she call me that? I guess she likes me as well. Hope so.' He finally reached the palace and retreated to his chambers without a care in the world. Was he in love?
