A couple of days after visiting Noble Island, Liz was visiting her family.
"So, that little one of Zephyr's alright?" asked Liz's dad while they sat out on the front porch.
"Yeah he is, Krennick's been teaching him swordsmanship and he has been doing pretty good in his training," said Liz.
"You'll have to bring him by at some point, I'd love to meet him," said her mom.
"I'll have to see what Zephyr thinks of that, the two have a lot of time to make up for after all," said Liz.
"Alright, now that we have all of that out of the way, how about you tell us the real reason you came to visit us so suddenly," said her dad.
"You even used a car instead of your super speed, did you lose it or is this something else entirely?" asked her mom as she pointed at an old truck parked in the driveway.
"I haven't told Race about this yet," said Liz after a long sigh.
"Wait a minute, are you pregnant?" asked her mom with a stunned expression.
"I found out last week," said Liz.
"Then why haven't you told Race yet?" asked her dad.
"I was planning to tell him on the day we got the news about Neckrox, but I never found the time," said Liz.
"Is there any way you can get him down here any time soon?" asked her mom.
"I can have Doc set up a warp, but what are you planning?" asked Liz.
"You'll see," said her mom with a sly smile. A few hours later, Race had arrived at the farm.
"What's wrong, Liz, I got a visit from dad who said you called asking him to bring me here in a hurry," said Race as he ran over to her.
"There's something I need to tell you, but I wrote it instead," said Liz as she handed him a paper.
"Dear Race, the two of us have been through a lot, and your family is already large, but it's going to get even bigger," read Race as a stunned expression came to his face while looking up at his wife.
"You're pregnant?" asked Race.
"I've been meaning to tell you," said Liz as she placed a hand on her stomach.
"That's great!" said Race as he hugged her.
"But why did you decide to tell me here?" asked Race.
"It was my mom's idea," said Liz as the barn doors swung open, revealing the rest of the family.
"She had me tell them so we could throw a party," said Liz.
"I see where you get your sneakiness from," said Race before they joined the others.
