After his hangout with Fluttershy, Slash have return to his hideout and his friends ask him how was his hangout and he told them that it was great. Then Slash have started to go to his room and lay on his bed.
"Man, Fluttershy is the most beautiful girl I ever met and she is good with animals." Said Slash as he smiles.
Then as Slash puts his hands in the pocket of his jacket, he started to feel something in it. He took it out and it was a picture of Slash and Oliver when they were kids and they were with their mother. He started to smile sadly as he looks at his picture. Then he started to see another picture on the floor and as he pick it up, he started to frown.
The picture that Slash have pick up was a picture of his mother with his father and Slash started to feel angry that he crumble up the picture and threw it away.
"God, I can't believe that I had that picture also." Said Slash as he feels really angry." I hate my dad, he was the worst man ever after what he did to me, Oliver, and mom."
Then as Slash started to sit down at a chair, he started to look outside the window and started to remember the tragic day that his mom, his brother, and himself have to leave after what his father said to his mother.
Flashback
Slash was around 7 years old, he was wearing a green shirt with a turtle on it, black shorts on, and black shoes on.
Oliver was 6 years old, he was wearing a blue shirt, a black vest, blue shorts, and white sneakers on.
They both look very happy together and they are at the living room with their mother. Their mother has long black hair, black eyes, wears a purple shirt, a pink skirt on, and has black heels on. Her name is Lisa Stone.
"Man mom, this is so relaxing." Said Slash as he smiles at his mom.
"I agree honey, I'm really happy that I have you and Oliver here with me." Said Lisa as she hugs her sons.
"Our lives would be so much better if dad never hits us." Said Oliver as he feels sad." He's always mean to us and he always drinks a lot."
"Mom how long do we have to live with him?" Asked Slash.
But before Lisa could answer his questions, there was a loud slam coming from upstairs and a man came stomping down to the living room. The man has black hair, green eyes, a white undershirt on, a jacket on, loose pants on, white socks, and sandals on. His name is Charlie Stone and his Slash's father.
"Ugh, Lisa, I though I told you to wash the laundry today!" Said Charlie as he slaps Lisa at the face." I cane believe you are so useless!"
"Charlie, I just wash them yesterday!" Said Lisa as she felt like crying."
"And you two, What's is wrong with you, I though I told you to do your chores!" Said Charlie in anger.
Then Charlie started to grab Slash and Oliver's by the necks and threw them at a table which break as they fall at it. And Charlie hit Slash at the eye and he got an black and hit Oliver also and he got a bruise at the cheek.
"CHARLIE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Said Lisa in anger and sadness.
"Shut up women, I'm going out and you better have this place clean by the time I get back, or there will be consequences!" Said Charlie in anger.
Then Charlie push Lisa hard at the floor and he started to leave the house as he slam the door. Then Lisa got up and started to go to her two sons as they groan a bit.
"Slash, Oliver, my sons are you alright?" Asked Lisa as she hugs her sons.
"Mommy, it really hurts so much." Said Oliver as he whimper a bit.
"Why is dad always like this?" Asked Slash as he gets up with a bit of pain.
"Okay that's it, I can't take this anymore, I'm sick of the he treated you my sons, this is to hard, like I said, I need a break!" Said Lisa as tears come down of her eyes." My sons, pack your stuff right now, we are leaving to New York City and we would not be coming back ever."
So then they boys began to pack their stuff as did their mother and as they finish, the mother left a note, and then they have started to leave home to New York City and never came back to their old home.
End of Flashback
"After that day we left, I was glad that I was able to get away from the man." Said Slash in a bit of anger." I never wanted to see that man ever again, he made us feel miserable ever since, and he never care about us."
Then as Slash began to feel really angry, he started to pick a pocketknife at his table, and he started to throw it at the wall where he had another picture of his father. He glared at the picture and started to sit down. Then he started to look at a ring that was on his table.
The ring was silver with a beautiful gem on it. The ring belong to his mother and Slash began to pick up the ring and started to feel a bit sad. You see, 3 years ago, when Slash was 13 years old and Oliver was 11 years old, their mother was sick and was at the hospital and after a few days later, their mother died.
"I really miss you mom, I really wish you could be here with me and Oliver." Said Slash as he felt sad.
Then some of the light from the moon, outside of the window, have started to shine at Slash's mothers ring and when the moonlight hit the ring it started to glow and Slash have smiled. Then he started to remember about the day when his mother give him her ring and died.
Flashback
Slash and Oliver were at the hospital, in their mother's hospital room and they were both really sad that their mother is about to die.
"Please get well mom." Said Slash sadly.
"Yeah, we don't want you to leave us, please get well." Said Oliver as tears come down of his eyes.
"Listen to me Slash and Oliver, before you two were born, I was once in a street gang before." Said Lisa as she smiles weakly at her sons." Back then, my gang and I will help other people and try to protect the city from other bad street gangs."
That got Slash and Oliver to be really surprised and really shock that their mother was once in a street gang when she was a teenager and that she fights other bad street gangs. Then as Lisa started to smile at her sons, she started to put her hand at Slash and Oliver's hands.
"Slash and Oliver, I know that you boys will be strong, kind and brave in the future, and I know that in my heart you will join a street gang that is willing to protect people." Said Lisa as she smiles." Please promise me that you both will also be very caring, kind, and always be happy to other people."
"But mommy, we really don't want you to leave me, will miss you so much mother." Said Slash as tears come out of his eyes.
"And I'll miss you so much." Said Oliver as he cried a bit.
"And I will never leave you my sons, you see boys, when you love someone so much, they will stay in your heart forever." Said Lisa as she smiles at her sons." I promise you my sons that I will always be with you when I'm in your hearts."
Then Oliver and Slash have both started to hug their mother and their mother have hugged back. Then as Twilight Velvet smile at her sons, she started to look at Slash and then she started to take off her ring and started to hand it to Slash.
"Slash, I want you to have this ring." Said Lisa as she gives it Slash.
"Why mom?" Asked Slash as he holds the ring.
"When I met your father, before he was drunk, he gave that ring and he told me that I was his love of his life." Said Lisa as she smiles." I want you to promise me something Slash."
"What is it mom?" Asked Slash.
"I want you to promise me that you will find a girlfriend that loves you for you." Said Lisa as she smiles." But promise me that once you find a girlfriend, I want you to love her for her."
"Okay mom, I promise." Said Slash as he smiles at his mom.
Then Slash have started to hold onto the ring that his mom gave him and then he and Oliver have bother started to hug their mother and then at the next day, their mother died.
End of Flashback
"I really miss you so much mom, but I always kept your promise and I know that I will protect Oliver." Said Slash as he felt sad.
Then all of a sudden, the door of Slash's room began to open, then Oliver, Leatherhead, Jack, Thomas, Marcus, Ophelia, and Carrie have all started to enter the room and then Oliver began to speak.
"Hey Slash guess what, Marcus and Thomas was trying to make pizza but guess what happen?" Asked Oliver as he looked at Slash and saw the ring." Is that moms ring?"
"Yeah it is." Said Slash as he smiles.
"Oh, that's a very beautiful ring Slash." Said Carrie as she smiles." Do you mind if I hold it?"
"Sure Carrie, but please be careful, the ring is really special." Said Slash as he gives Carrie the ring.
"Wow Slash, the ring looks so beautiful." Said Thomas as he smiles.
"Hey Raph, I got a question I really wanted to ask you." Said Ophelia as she looks at Slash.
"Sure Ophelia, what's your question?" Asked Slash.
"When are you going to tell Fluttershy about your dark past?" Asked Ophelia.
That got Slash and the others to look at Ophelia with shock but the others have also agreed with her. Slash on the other hand started to feel really nervous and a bit uncomfortable.
"You know Slash, Ophelia has a point there, you never told the Hamato siblings, April, or Casey about your dark past." Said Thomas as he looks at Slash." Now we know that you don't like talking bout it but Fluttershy has to know soon."
"Yeah Slash, you can't keep this a secret for so long." Said Marcus.
"I don't know you guys, I mean, you remember what I told you that my father was a very bad person." Said Slash as he felt a bit uncomfortable." He hits me and Oliver all the time and he hit my mother."
"Yeah, I mean, our own father kept hurting our mother every single day and we have just about enough of it that day." Said Oliver as he felt sad.
"We understand that if you are not ready to tell Fluttershy about your dark past Slash." Said Leatherhead as he looks at Slash." But didn't you said that Fluttershy said to you that you can tell her about your past when your ready?"
"Well yeah that what she said to me." Said Slash.
"Well there you go, she is really patient and she said to take your time when you are ready to tell her about your dark past." Said Jack as he looks at Slash." Like we were really patient when you and Oliver are ready to tell us about your dark past."
"Yeah, but that was different, you guys are my friends." Said Slash." And Fluttershy is this girl that I'm starting to grow feelings with."
"Well you should think on when are you going to tell her." Said Carrie as she gives Slash the ring back.
"That's the problem, I don't know how can I tell her." Said Slash.
Then Oliver, Leatherhead, Jack, Marcus, Thomas, Ophelia, and Carrie have started to feel really bad for Slash because they know how hard and bad his past was and the Jack have started to speak.
"Listen to us, Slash. We have all seen many street gangs before. And we are telling you and this is the honest truth." Said Jack as he looks at Slash." You got something that we have all never seen before."
"Really?" Asked Slash as he smiles.
"We can feel it right here in our hearts Slash." Said Leatherhead as he smiles." And don't worry Slash, when you are ready to tell Fluttershy about your past, just let her know."
That got Slash to know that his friends really cared about him and realize that they are right, he can tell Fluttershy about his past when he is ready. Then all of a sudden, Ophelia started to smell something that is burning.
"Uh guys, is something burning?" Asked Ophelia.
"Oh no, I was supposed to look at the pizza!" Said Marcus as he runs downstairs.
"I'll go get a fire extinguishers." Said Thomas as he runs also.
Then the others have started to go downstairs leaving Slash all alone. Then he look at his mothers ring one last time and smiles. Then he started to put the ring back in a box and started to go downstairs. As he goes downstairs, little does he know is that his friends are right, he can tell Fluttershy about his dark past when he's ready.
