"Where is Strix?" Gohan asked aloud to his attendant.
"She is currently visiting a world in the far west quadrant," he answered. Gohan nodded and returned to his paperwork before hesitating.
"I have to go out and review a world in a few days, so I guess I will visit her and see how she is getting along," Gohan said as Vermont chuckled.
"Since Lady Strix has become your leading Pillar, she has been your representative and has been doing a wonderful job. But now that your training is complete, I suppose you will be visiting the worlds more often," Vermont finished as Gohan nodded.
"I can't wait to see how far she has come," Gohan finished with a smile as Diana walked into the office with a shocked expression.
"You're back?" She asked as he nodded, and in a snap, vanished and appeared in front of her, pulling her close.
"It's a long story, and I know it's only been a year, but I reached a good level of strength," Gohan explained as she wrapped her arms around him.
"I am going to visit a world soon, but until then, how about we catch up?" Gohan said as she nodded and Vermont walked out.
Strix floated above a battlefield as she watched thousands of ninjas battle each other. 'Their form of energy is very similar to Ki,' she thought to herself as a group of individuals caught her attention.
A woman with blonde hair, a tall dark man with a blue lightning-like aura, a short old man, a lady with red hair and a blue outfit on, and a short young man with red hair – they felt stronger than everyone else on the battlefield.
She watched as the man dropped a meteorite from the sky with an impressed expression. 'Not bad, he is clearly quite powerful on this planet,' she mused to herself as a few of the powerful ones stopped the meteorite with an impressive display of teamwork and raw power. 'However, he is dead. This breach to another world seems very refined, like it didn't affect reality like it was supposed to.' She could tell only certain souls had been summoned and were in a state of servitude.
'Even if it isn't affecting reality in a negative way, this is still taboo, as the dead should remain just that… dead,' she continued her assessment of the world as she watched the battles rage on and the abnormally large creatures being turned into a singular beast with planetary destructive capabilities.
'Maybe this world will destroy itself?' She thought as the beast was absorbed by one of the fighters, and his strength rose dramatically, making her frown. She contemplated stepping in but decided against it for now.
Things just started to spiral out of control as two allies betrayed each other, and one became more powerful. 'This is getting quite interesting; I wonder if other worlds have these same conflicts?' She thought to herself but decided that if other planets had conflicts like this, then it was definitely not a good thing. These people seemed to bend reality and had dimensional abilities. She was waiting to see who would come out on top.
Soon, she saw a man with a green outfit release impressive amounts of sheer raw power for a being without ki control, taking note that this person was clearly worth looking into. Everyone seemed too weak to recruit, but perhaps this man had potential. However, soon she realized that this was just a last-ditch effort, and he was almost successful, but his adversary was too formidable.
"Unfortunate, but it seems he is finished, and his opponent is still alive," she finished and watched as two familiar faces appeared. She could instantly tell something was different, and they were clearly far stronger than before. The one had the ability to save the life of the fallen warrior she took interest in, which now drew Strix to the blonde warrior.
The battle was impressive until she felt a divine power appear, and this time her face became serious. 'Why is a low-tier god appearing on this world?' She thought to herself as she watched the battle, just as Vermont appeared next to her.
"Good day, Lady Strix," Vermont said as she greeted him respectfully.
"Hello, Master Vermont, what brings you here?" She asked as he shrugged.
"Just seeing how things are moving along," he said as she nodded and watched as the fighters disappeared, almost like they went off to another dimension. This pleasantly surprised Vermont.
"They can use spatial abilities?" He questioned as he stared into his staff and saw them battling in a pocket dimension. "Incredible, they have the ability to travel between dimensions so easily." Vermont praised.
"I assume you have already reached your own conclusions?" He asked Strix, who nodded.
"I want to question this low-tier goddess," she said as Vermont nodded.
"Well, from what I can see, she is running from her people," Vermont answered. "She seems to have turned on her people who want to destroy this world. Apparently, they were going to harvest a chakra fruit, but she became obsessed with possessing all chakra and used it to end all conflict. She started off as a marker of death for this world but started to love it, so she decided she needed all the power to keep everyone at peace. But clearly, things didn't go as planned." Vermont said. "Now she is looking to gain control, she is currently out of control."
Vermont summarized Kaguya's past to Strix, who nodded.
"Still, she is quite powerful," Strix commented. "For a lower goddess, she certainly has no shortage of abilities. I want her." Strix answered firmly, surprising Vermont.
"You want her?" He asked curiously as Strix nodded.
"She will become a subordinate of mine," Strix finished as Vermont sighed.
"What about the god clan?" Vermont asked, and she scoffed.
"I couldn't care less about them. They will have to find another world to harvest for the main family. If they have a problem with it, they can try questioning me themselves," she said as Vermont just nodded.
"Can you take me to that dimension?" She asked Vermont, who nodded.
"Of course," he said as they disappeared and reappeared in Kaguya's dimension. She instantly noticed the intrusion and turned to look away from Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura, who couldn't believe she stopped paying attention to them but realized she was looking at two people in the distance.
The two reappeared in front of the group. "Greetings, I am Head Pillar of Destruction: Strix," she introduced herself before Vermont spoke.
"You may call me Vermont," he said as they carefully watched their movements.
"How did you enter my dimension?" Kaguya asked.
"Passing through dimensions is child's play," Vermont answered, and she was taken aback.
"I am the only being who can enter and exit this dimension willingly," she answered as Vermont didn't respond, but Strix did.
"How we got in is not important. I am here because I would like to offer you an opportunity," Strix said as Kaguya looked on unsure. She felt something was off with those two.
"What do you mean?" She asked as Strix floated forward.
"Join me. I am creating a pantheon for order in the universe, and your abilities have made me intrigued. Join me, and I will make you one of the strongest beings in the universe. Even your main family patriarch will bow his head in your direction," Strix said with an emotionless face. Even though she regained her emotions, she had gotten so used to having none that it felt normal to her now.
"Cut the bullshit!" Naruto yelled. "You want to recruit her? I don't think you know who you are talking to. She wants to destroy the world," Naruto said passionately, and Sasuke just watched Strix with his eyes, wanting to make sure he knew where she was at all times.
Strix turned and looked at Naruto. "I know enough, and you, Naruto Uzumaki, you interest me as well, but you're a little too weak," she said, which made Naruto mad, but he held back his blush. The woman was beyond attractive; her hair was purple, her eyes were sea green, and her skin was a similar color that matched her outfit. Her entire appearance looked divine.
"Calm down, Naruto. If she is here, that means she knows what she is doing. We can't afford another enemy. She seems to know who you are, and she isn't worried," Kakashi finished as Naruto quickly regained his composure and growled, while Strix smirked in his direction.
Kaguya stared intensely at the blue-skinned man, which he could feel. He glanced at her. "Can I help you?" He asked as she continued to stare at him intensely.
Kaguya smirked and started charging her Kekkei Mōra.
"Because you know of the main family, you must be from another world, but I wonder how strong you truly are. You said the main family patriarch will bow his head to me if I join you. I need power to ensure that peace remains through the shinobi world and to fend off my clan," she said.
Strix nodded and motioned for her to attack, which she did. The remaining shinobi watched with their guard up as Kaguya used the ability that pierced Sasuke's perfect Susanoo effortlessly.
Vermont moved and disappeared, not wanting to be caught up in the battle.
Sasuke felt a burst of panic as he didn't see the blue man move, even with his amped eyes. "This should be interesting," he said as he watched Kaguya lunge at Strix and attack her.
He just disappeared and reappeared next to them, only drawing their attention when he spoke, even though he was between them, which made them instantly create distance from him. But it also put them on edge. This guy just stood next to them, and they didn't even know until he made his presence known by speaking.
Strix raised her hand and blocked the attacks without moving an inch.
Kaguya backed off and started spamming jutsu with immense power at Strix, who just tanked all the attacks.
When she was done, she stared at her handiwork and was shocked when Strix was revealed with not even a scratch on her.
"Let's see if you can take what you dish out," she said as she lifted her finger, and a ball of energy started to shine before rapidly expanding, turning into a small moon.
The power radiating off her finger was so incredibly intense that the remaining warriors were frozen at the display of power. Kaguya was stunned at the sheer amount of power as she noticed cracks appearing around the ball of power. 'This has to be some sort of joke,' she thought to herself.
Strix reabsorbed the power as it vanished. "That was the most amount of power I could release without severely damaging your dimension," Strix said as Kaguya growled.
"Who are you really? We Ōtsutsuki are basically gods, yet you know about us and have more raw power than me, I, who first ate from the fruit of chakra besides the patriarch," she said as Strix smiled at her.
"Your clan is a planetary god-level species, with the ability to even destroy whole dimensions, which is definitely above most of the species in the galaxy," Strix explained.
"But that's all they are, just above most of the species in the galaxy. There are a few other planets with beings who have powers that equal yours, probably even exceed your current capabilities, but I have yet to come across any," Strix finished.
Kaguya refused to believe this. She smirked and was about to attack. "If you still want a battle, then I suppose we can fight," Strix indulged as she looked at Kaguya. "Let's see what more you can do."
Feeling like she was being looked down upon by the strange woman, Kaguya was about to charge forward when she felt the feeling of her head being removed from her shoulders by a punch to her forehead.
Kaguya suddenly grabbed her forehead and backed away. 'What was that? I am sure my head was...' She thought wearily as she started to sweat.
Quickly gaining her composure, she squeezed her hands tight before blowing out a large flame towards Strix.
It was silent as Kaguya felt a hand rest on her shoulder, shocking her. She wanted to make distance between herself and the strange woman, but just like before, she felt herself be blown to pieces by a single punch before grabbing the point of impact she felt on her body in fear. A cold voice spoke into her ear.
"Your instincts are admirable," Strix said as she pulled her fist back and slammed it into Kaguya's gut, creating an incredible shockwave that made everyone raise their guard.
Kaguya gasped for air as blood and spit mixed with some stomach fluid was thrown up. She couldn't believe she had been hit so hard she could barely move as Strix just stared at her. "Join me, and you will become immune to every enemy," Strix bargained as Kaguya just swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat.
"And if you come across anyone who dares challenge you, they will be challenging me as well," Kaguya stared at her.
"What is your goal here?" Kakashi suddenly interjected as he eyed them. This strangely dressed woman was definitely not from their world; her hair, clothes, and eye color were a dead giveaway, and her crazy strength was beyond anything he had ever seen as well.
"I am looking for powerful people to join me in upholding order in the universe," she answered, catching everyone's attention.
"So far, Kaguya is the one I am looking to recruit," Strix said. "However, she will have to end all conflict with this world because currently what she is doing is harmful to the progression of inhabitants of your world."
Kaguya pondered this but came to a different conclusion. "Fine, but for me to follow you, I need to see if you can withstand my most powerful ability," she said. The power of this individual certainly exceeded her own, but if she could cast a perfect genjutsu over this person, she would have a servant capable of even defeating herself. But ultimately, it was her last test on whether or not she would decide to submit to this woman.
"A final attempt? Fine, let's see what you do now," she challenged as she made a 'come' gesture with her hand.
Kaguya started concentrating all of her chakra as Strix watched her and decided to see what she would do.
Kaguya unleashed a perfect genjutsu: Infinite Tsukuyomi, on Strix, whose eyes dulled.
Strix looked around as she realized she was trapped in her mind but also trapped in the confines of some sort of dimensional wall and was thoroughly impressed. 'I definitely have to make her my subordinate,' she mused as she got an idea.
Vermont watched as Strix remained standing upright, but her eyes had gone dull. "What a magnificent ability," he remarked. "Your eyes are certainly astonishing."
Sasuke stared at the battle intensely, he was more or less gaining an understanding of everyone, and he was intrigued with Strix. She was certainly far stronger than she was letting on, and perhaps he could find a way to train under her, if she could escape the Infinite Tsukuyomi, which seemed unlikely.
Everyone took a battle stance as they looked at Vermont, who was completely calm. "Aren't you mad your friend is in danger?" Naruto asked him as Vermont shrugged.
"If my lady cannot break free from that level of power, then perhaps her training is not complete," he said but smiled. "Fortunately, my lady cannot be contained by such a weak being. Perhaps if she had more power, then my lady would be in far more danger." As a green aura appeared around Strix, generating intense shockwaves, Kaguya's smirk slowly disappeared as she started straining to hold the genjutsu. 'How is this even possible!? How much power does she possess!?'
"Impossible!" She started straining as more power started to radiate from Strix, and Kaguya's nose and eyes started bleeding as she let go of Strix, who continued to raise her power slowly.
"Impressive," she said as she smirked. "I make my last offer, follow me or die," Strix said. "What you are doing goes against the laws of creation, so I cannot pardon you if you continue assaulting the world." She said as the shinobi seemed to be taken aback by her statement.
Strix started raising her power at an extraordinary rate, striking fear into Kaguya and everyone present.
"That's crazy…" Naruto said as he sweated at the sight and what he sensed.
"I thought Naruto had a lot of power, but this is just crazy," Sakura said as she stared at the green glow of power that was shaking the entire pocket dimension violently.
Strix just stared at Kaguya, who was nervous and frustrated. "This is merely a percentage of my strength. I am thousands of times more powerful than this, but your dimension would be destroyed if I raised my power output," Strix said. Kaguya knew that this woman was clearly not normal; she possessed so much raw power it was like she was a god as well, but one far beyond even her; Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
"Who are you…really?" Kaguya asked as she clenched her fists. She knew she had no choice; if she denied this woman, she would die. She knew she was immortal, but someone as powerful as the woman in front of her would most certainly have a means of dealing with immortal beings.
"I am Strix, the Head Pillar of Destruction," she answered, but Kaguya was just confused by the title.
"Pillar of Destruction?" She asked doubtfully.
"I am looking for more Pillars of Destruction," Strix said.
"What the heck is a Pillar of Destruction?" Sakura asked. Kakashi was stunned; that was a pretty scary title to have.
"I destroy things for the betterment of the universe," Strix simplified.
"Alright," Kaguya said as she bowed. "You promise I will make the main family's patriarch bow his head to me?" Kaguya asked as Strix pondered for a second.
"I will not personally make it happen, but I can promise I will give you the strength to do it by yourself," Strix said as Kaguya lowered her head in servitude.
"With this, the battle has concluded," Strix said as she looked over at Vermont. "Take us back," Strix ordered as Vermont just moved everyone. Before they could even register what was happening, they were moved back to the original dimension.
On the battlefield, the remaining ninja looked around confused as everyone reappeared with Kaguya still alive. Thinking the battle wasn't over, they assumed a fighting stance.
Kaguya glanced over at Vermont. He easily bypassed the dimensional barrier; he didn't even need her permission to enter and exit her space, which should normally be impossible unless he possessed eyes on par with hers. But all she could see were light purple eyes.
"What's going on, Naruto?" Shikamaru asked as Naruto glanced back at him with his guard still raised. "Why is there a new woman and a blue man here?"
"A lot of confusing stuff," Naruto responded as Strix looked at Kaguya and motioned for her to stand next to her, which she did.
"Now," Strix said. "This world has many transgressions, such as…uhm, spatial abilities, so with the authority given to me by the ruler of the universe, I sentence this world to destruction," she said, making everyone put up their guard even more.
"Ruler of what?" Choji asked as Strix started floating into the sky and raised her finger, generating a ball of power.
Soon, it took up most of the night sky, looking like a mini green sun that was generating hurricane-level winds.
"Stop!" Naruto yelled out as he glanced at Sasuke, who seemed to have caught on before unleashing their Majestic Attire: Susanoo, wrapping Kurama in the perfect susanoo before charging nine tailed beast bombs in each tail and combining them to create a super massive tailed beast bomb, with both Naruto and Sasuke pouring all their power into it.
The remaining shinobi looked on with a face of uncertainty as they stared down the green death ball and the chakra form of Kurama covered with the perfect susanoo. It felt like they were about to witness their death just from the blasts making contact; regardless, it looked like the world was done for.
Strix smirked as she aimed her finger at them. Naruto and Sasuke screamed at the top of their lungs as they released the super massive tailed beast bomb.
Kaguya watched on, intrigued on what would happen. She doubted she would be able to stop an attack of that level, briefly wondering why they didn't use that against her, but realizing there were myriad ways to dodge it.
Strix quickly dismissed her ball of energy, letting it dissipate as she took the tailed beast bomb head-on, catching it with her hands as it slowly started pushing her arms back slightly, which greatly impressed her before she pushed it into space.
She lowered herself to them as they panted. "Great job, you two," Strix finished, stunning them. "How about joining me as well?"
"How does training under me sound? Your abilities are decent as well," she finished.
"What about the transgressions you mentioned?" Sasuke asked. "That was just to scare you into using every ounce of power you have. If I wasn't impressed, I would have just destroyed your world," Strix answered nonchalantly. Kakashi stared at her intently.
"Make no mistake; I make all the decisions here," Strix said. "But I will spare you, regardless of your choice. Your world has interesting powers." She had a small smile on her face, and it captured the attention of many male ninjas who weren't passed out.
Sasuke relaxed and walked forward. "I will do it." He was under no illusion that he could defeat Strix, whether it be by genjutsu or a straight battle. The gap in power was just far too great from what he could see and feel, and this was perfect. He was planning on asking her to train him anyway.
Naruto clenched his teeth. If Sasuke grew even stronger than him, then he wouldn't be able to stop him if he ever went rogue. Besides, they still haven't settled their score.
"If I can stay on my world while I train, then I accept," Naruto said as Strix nodded. "But!" Naruto interjected.
"Sasuke and I have a score to settle!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Go ahead," Strix said as they glanced at each other before disappearing, leaving everyone behind. Strix looked at Kakashi.
"Where can I find food?" She asked as more shinobi approached them, wary of the tall blue-skinned man but wanting to be closer to the female who made every other woman look dull in comparison.
Kakashi stared at her, shrugging. "We just finished a war, so we don't have any currently. You are welcome to wait," Kakashi said as she nodded but looked back at Vermont.
"Do you have any food on you?" She asked as he waved his staff, and a table of food appeared. "Batman gave me a few tables, so enjoy."
She quickly sat down and started eating.
Soon everyone started heading back to their base where they found the rest of the ninjas. Everyone stood on guard when they saw Kaguya, not understanding who she was, but also confused about the strange but beautiful turquoise-skinned woman and tall blue man.
Kakashi signaled for Kaguya, Strix, and Vermont to follow him into a tent. As soon as they entered, they saw five others seated with bandages wrapped around them. "Kakashi," Tsunade started. "Care to explain?" She asked as Kakashi nodded.
"They are the five Kage who rule over the great shinobi nations," Kakashi introduced as Strix didn't do anything.
"And this is Lady Strix, I believe? She played a key role in stopping the war," Kakashi explained.
"Care to explain what that green ball of light was earlier?" The Mizukage asked. "What ungodly battle occurred for the ground to shake all the way back to base?"
Kakashi started explaining in detail with Strix interjecting every so often. "You're here to scout potential warriors to join you? And you chose Kaguya, the one who tried to kill us all?" Tsunade asked as Strix nodded.
"That's right," Strix commented as Naruto entered. He was missing an arm, and Sasuke mirrored him, making Strix smirk at the sight.
"By the looks of it, you two tried killing each other," she remarked as Naruto just chuckled.
She looked at Sasuke and Naruto. "You ready to leave?" She asked as he nodded. The tent was surrounded by many ninjas who were curious about the situation.
Naruto opened his mouth to protest. He couldn't leave yet. "I can't leave yet!" Naruto interjected.
"It won't be for long. You need to meet your future partners, and once my lord returns, you need to greet him," she answered as Naruto grumbled.
'My lord?' Kakashi took note of that, as did the other Kage.
"Vermont, please heal them," Strix said as he nodded.
"As you wish, my lady," he said as he walked up to them, unsettling Naruto somewhat. Vermont tapped his staff on Naruto's forehead, instantly healing him to maximum capacity. Even Kurama felt himself brim with power. Naruto stared at his hands in shock and walked back to Strix's side.
"Who are you?" Tsunade asked. The tall blue man was certainly a mystery.
"I serve Lady Strix at the moment," he answered.
"He is the attendant of the God of Destruction, but since my lord is away at the moment, he is with me," Strix answered.
"A god of destruction? I don't think I even want to know anymore," Tsunade said as the Raikage grinned and leaned forward.
"If you serve him, then he must be quite powerful," he asked as Strix nodded.
"Indeed, he is far beyond me," she answered, making the Raikage just chuckle with uncertainty.
Silence fell upon them.
Strix turned and looked at her new recruits. "Let's leave," she said as they nodded. "It was nice meeting you all," she said as they exited the tent.
"Please put your hand on someone's shoulder and always maintain contact," Vermont said as they all did as told.
"Take us to the other world that has one candidate," Strix said as he nodded.
The Kage exited the tent just in time to see a bright flash of light bursting into the sky.
Hello, everyone! Here is the other story I was talking about. This one will mostly be centered around Strix and the Pillars. So far, we have Kaguya, Naruto, and Sasuke. Can you guess who's next? Well, I already revealed it in the other story, but for those who haven't seen it, take a wild guess.
For now, please just enjoy the chapters I am releasing. I am also working on "Justice Rewritten," but since it's the main story, everything in that will be planned out meticulously. I am really trying to level up my writing. I no longer care about sticking true to a specific verse; I will create my own amalgamation of verses and string them along in a way no one has ever seen before. However, I want it to be QUALITY work. My biggest weakness will be characters from shows I am not too familiar with, but I will definitely do my best to make them stay true to their original until they start developing in my universe, or well, Multiverse, and onto the Omniverse that exists here.
Please let me know what you all think of it by reviewing. I know the Pan one was really short, but I am going to start working on that next and then get back to this while I build the story and also make them string along with "Justice Rewritten."
I am thinking of cleaning my profile and removing all the old stories, but I understand that some people come back and read those stories for nostalgia's sake, so I probably won't. However, it just bugs me that my earlier stories are kind of cringe, haha, but at the same time, it adds character to my profile because it clearly highlights my progress as a writer from my high school days.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who is following me! I didn't even notice I was sitting at around 500 followers when I release new stories. That's a large number of people—almost half a thousand individuals like my writing and personality so much that they decided to follow me! That brings joy to my heart, and while I write, I want to deliver the best work!
Peace out
