Merry Christmas

A little trip in winter to forget the heat and a rendezvous between our two favorite heroes.

Marinette double-checked for the thousandth time her outfit. A puffy red dress with midnight blue lace at the neck, wrists and bottom of the dress. The rest of her clothing was her never-leaving earrings, a fine white gold watch, a gift from her grandmother and finally red heels.

The girl took a deep breath but still had the red on her cheeks, allowing Tikki to compliment her on the effort to put on the same color as her dress. It was enough for Marinette to sit down on her seat, starting to ramble about all the reasons she had not to go to this date with Adrien. Not holding on any longer, Alya, who had not yet said anything, took her by the hands, raised her, made her put on her coat, a red sleeveless vest with white faux fur, and told her to hurry up and go or she would drag her there.

Marinette hugged Alya to take her courage and strength, put Tikki in her purse and went downstairs. She went up again, taking a small bag containing the gift for Adrien. It was a pair of gloves she had made herself. This time everything was good and left, not without hearing her parents' compliments on her outfit.

Adrien put his dark green bow tie as the final touch to his black costume, very classic but which made him desirable for many of his fans. He put a shot of mint spray in his mouth, just in case the smell of one of Plagg's cheeses had contaminated his breath. The latter felt offended but did not hold it against his porter because he knew that this was the first Christmas of the two lovers and that everything had to go fine. The Kwami reminded him not to forget the gift for his beautiful, magnificent necklace with a star. He had followed the advice of his best friend Nino, who himself took it from his girlfriend. He put on his long jacket and put on his shoes.

The young man went down, ready to go to the Christmas trees of the Place Vendôme, the place where the young people had chosen. He got into the car driven by his bodyguard.

The two fir trees illuminated passers-by and couples contemplating the trees. Marinette looked at her watch and calmed down, she was early for once. She thought about everything that had happened since her meeting with Adrien. His heart was beating louder at those memories, especially those of the last few months. She had managed to declare her love without trembling, their first kiss seemed to her to be yesterday so much this event remained engraved in her heart and lips.

Adrien had arrived first, at least that's what he thought. He took his phone, it was almost midnight and yet no trace of his dulcinea. No longer holding on, he called her and the girl picked up immediately. He wanted to know if she had a problem because he was present in front of one of the trees. Marinette objected because she was herself in front of the tree and no trace of her boyfriend.

While conversing, the two young people walked around their tree to finally... see each other face to face, each having expected in front of one of the conifers illuminated and decorated. They laughed together and, without leaving their eyes or the telephone, they approached each other. Finally hanging up in front of each other, they could see each other better. The boy complimented his beloved's elegant toilet while the girl evoked the class of her Romeo. They exchanged their presents and were delighted. The bells sounded midnight, in one voice they wished each other a Merry Christmas and came even closer to each other until they took their hands. Marinette tiptoed and her eyes closed. Adrien lowered his head and closed his own when their lips were sealed in a sweet kiss.

This short one-shot was requested by a friend who wanted to see a love story at Christmas. I hope you enjoyed. Leave me a comment, it's always a pleasure ^_^.
