Hey Everyone. Here's a story I wrote after seeing the new Mario movie. I hope you enjoy.

The Starlight Princess.
Chapter one.
Across from the Mushroom Kingdom stands the Starlight Kingdom. Its morning & the Toads that have stars on their hats called Star toads come out of their homes to begin the day. 1 Star toad comes out of his house, kisses his wife goodbye then changes into a star & flies to work along with the other Star toads. At the Royal castle. The council there were tracking a huge ship entering their kingdom. Lord Rayner, come quickly!" A Star toad cried. Just as an old Star toad approached them. Yes, Pete what is it? He asked. "It her my lord. It's Lady Venetia, she's coming!" He said, as Rayner looked at hologram map. "By the stars no, Timmy how long do we have?" Rayner asked. "According to my calculations she'll arrive at our kingdom within the hour!" Timmy said, as everyone gasped. "What are we going to do?" 1 asked. "She'll destroy us!" another said, as everyone talked at once. "Settle down, settle down everyone. We must be calm about this. Ryan sound the alarm. Billy evacuate the city. I will inform her highness!" Rayner said, as everyone scattered out of the council room. While Lord Rayner left through a door. He slowly made way his way to the princess's quarters & knocked. "Come!" He heard her say. Rayner walked into the room & bowed. "Your highness I bring grave new, Venetia is coming!" He said. "Yes, I know!" He heard her say. "You know what she will do to you if she catches you!" Rayner said. "I do!" He heard. "Then you know what must be done!" He said. "Yes!" he heard.
Out in the city alarms were going off as Star toads rush to evacuate the city before Venetia showed up. Suddenly a shadow covered the sun. The Star toads all turned & looked & saw Venetia's ship. The Star toads then screamed in a panic & began to run for their lives as pod crashed to the ground & mind-controlled soldiers came out of the pods & charged at the Star toads as they flee. Some of them escaped while others were turned to stone. The ship landed beside the castle. The dock doors opened up & 2 figures stand behind them, as a woman laughs.
Mushroom Kingdom. In a small toad house, an alarm clock went off. A hand reaches over & turns it off. A toad named Theodore sits up stretching & yawned. After he had his breakfast & morning tea. He closed & locked his front door. "Morning Theodore!" Some of his neighbors greeted. "Morning!" He greeted back, heading to his Item shop. Theodore unlocked the store door & enters. Once opened he got his usual customers. "Have a nice day!" he replied, as some Toads left the store & Mario & Luigi walked in. Hey Mario, Luigi, nice to see ya both, what can I do for you!" Theodore greeted them. "Hey Theodore, has my package come in yet?" Luigi asked. "As a matter of fact, Luigi, it did!" Theodore said, picking up a package from behind the counter. "Oh, sweet, I have been waiting for this. How much do I owe?" Luigi asked. "5 coins!" Theodore replied. "Here you are!" Luigi said, handing him 5 coins. "Whoa. Hey Theodore, what's this?" Mario asked, looking at an item in a display case. "Oh that, that is a rare Item. The silver Tanooki suit. They say it makes you stronger & fly faster then the regular Tanooki!" Theodore told them. Really wow, how much?" Mario asked. "5 thousand coins!" Theodore said. "5 thousand coins no way. Why so much Theodore?" Mario asked. "Its a really rare item Mario!" Theodore said. "Hey Theodore, how long has your sink been dripping like that?" Luigi asked, seeing his faucet dripping. "Oh, it always does that & I have been too busy to get it fix!" Theodore said, carrying some Mushrooms to the shelf. Mario & Luigi both looked at each others & grin.
Soon Mario was under the sink. "Luigi wrench?" He asked. "Wrench!" Mario said, handing him the pipe wrench. Mario then used the wrench to tighten the water pipe & stopped the drip. Mario smiled then got up. "Well, there you go Theodore all fix!" He said. "Aw, thanks Mario, Luigi. Tell me how much do I owe you?" He asked. Oh, I say 5 coins!" Mario said. "You got it!" Theodore said, handing them back the 5 coins Luigi gave him. "Thanks Theodore we'll see ya around!" Mario said. "Thanks again Mario bros, enjoy your package & the rest of your day!" He said. "You too bye!" Luigi said, leaving with his package. The 2 then fist bumped each other.
Soon they were home. "Oh boy, I can't wait to open this!" Luigi said, excitedly. "What did you order anyway?" Mario asked. Putting their tools away. "You'll see!" Luigi said, cutting the rope & opened the box. Mario & Luigi both looked inside & saw a strange looking cat bell. "Whoa, what is this, Bro?" Mario asked. This is called the Giga Cat bell. Theodore told me when it is thrown into a clearing it become a giant cat bell!" Luigi said. "& what happens to you when you touch it?" He asked. "Uhm, I don't know. Theodore doesn't know either!" Luigi said. "Hmm?" Mario said, looking at the Giga cat bell.
Soon it was closing time. Theodore turned the open sign over to closed, turned off all the lights, headed outside & locked the door & headed home. As he walked home on the quiet empty street. Not far a girl Toad with a blue hood over her head, rushed down the street. As she runs through the street. She kept looking behind her. Then suddenly she & Theodore bumped into each other. The girl Toad cried out as she fell to the ground. "Oh, oh no, are you ok?" Theodore asked. "Yes, I'm fine!" She said, as he helped her up. "I'm sorry I didn't see you there!" He said. "That's ok the fault was mine!" She said. That's when Theodore got a glimpse of her hat. "Whoa!" He replied. "Uhm excuse me, but I must be going!" She said, rushing away. "No wait!" He cried, running after her. "Wait please wait? He cried, catching up to her. He stopped beside her to catch his breath. "Please wait, tell me who are you? You're not from here, are you?" He asked. "What makes you think that?" She asked. "Because we Toads here don't have stars on our hats!" Theodore said, as she looked at him.
Soon they were at Theodore's home. Theodore handed the Star Toad a cup of tea. "Thank you!" She said, drinking her tea. "You're welcome. By the way I'm Theodore, what's your name?" Theodore asked. "My name is Starry!" she said. "Nice to meet ya!" He greeted. "Listen I like to stay & chat with you. But I can't stay. If I stay, I'll only put you all in danger!" Starry replied. "Danger? What kind of danger? Please tell me?" Theodore asked. Well, if must know the Kingdom I come from is called Starlight. We were a peaceful kingdom. Then Lady Venetia came & everything changed. She used her magic to take control of the guards & soldiers & took over the Kingdom. A lot of us tried to flee but a lot of us didn't make it!" Starry told. "Didn't make it? What happened to them?" He asked. Venetia turned them to stone!" Starry told, crying. "Hey it's ok. Your safe here. No one will find you here. I'll make sure of that! Theodore said. "You would risk your life for me. That's so brave of you!" Starry said, as Theodore smiled. "I tell you what Tomorrow morning I'm going to take you to our Princess. If anyone can help you it's her!" Theodore said, as Starry smiled.
Flying to the Mushroom kingdom was Venetia's ship. Inside a woman with long black hair wearing a red gown with black stars on it sit on her throne. In her lap was a plague star that she pets. Just as Ivar came in. "My Lady!" He said, bowing. "What is it Ivar?" She asked, still petting her Plague star. There is still no trace of the Starlight princess my Lady!" Ivar said. Ridiculous she must be somewhere. She couldn't have just vanished, keep looking, I want her found no excuses!" She ordered. "Yes, my lady!" Ivar said, rushing off. "Emyr!" She called, putting her Plague star aside & got up. "Yes, my Lady?" Emyr asked, coming over & bowing. "Bring up the map for the Mushroom kingdom? She ordered, coming down the steps "Right away your Ladyship!" He said, pressing a switch & up came a holographic image of the Mushroom Kingdom. "So, this is the Mushroom kingdom. Tell more about this kingdom? She asked. "Their ruler is Princess Peach. The kingdom has 2 great heroes named Mario & Luigi, 2 brothers. Once we take them out & the Princess. This Kingdom will be yours!" Emyr said. "Excellent. We'll start our attack before we land at the Castle. Alert me when were there?" She ordered, heading back to her throne. "Yes, my Lady!" Emyr said, bowing.
Chapter two.
It was morning & Theodore led Starry to the castle. "Come on Starry this way!" Theodore said walking through the crowd. Starry who had her hood on, followed Theodore through the town. "Morning Theodore!" 1 of the greeted. "Morning!" He greeted back. Starry followed Theodore through town & up platforms & passing floating bricks & up to the clear pipes. "This is it Starry just through this pipe & we'll be there!" Theodore said, going in & up the clear pipe. Soon he reached the castle grounds & waited for Starra to show up. "That was fun!" Starry said, scaring Theodore. "We should do it again some time. By the way what took you so long?" She asked. "How do you, when do you?" Theodore asked, in shock. "Come on, let's get going!" Starry said, pulling him ahead. Soon they arrived at the palace doors. "Halt!" The guards said, blocking the doors. "Hi Theodore. What brings you to the castle?" 1 of them asked. "& Who is this?" The other asked. "This is a new friend of mine & she needs the Princess's help, it's a matter of life or death!" Theodore said. "A matter a life or death?" Toad said, approaching them. "Toad please its important that we get in. My new friend needs the princess's help!" Theodore Said. "Hmm!" Toad said, looking at Starry & stared into her rare blue eyes. "Let them through!" Toad ordered, as the guards let them in. "Thank you, Toad!" Theodore said, as they entered the castle.
Meanwhile in the council room alarms went off as the hologram map picked up a strange huge ship slow approaching the Mushroom kingdom. "Princess, come quickly!" Lord Toadworth called. As Princess Peach got up & came down the steps. "What is it Toadworth?" Peach asked. "We detected a strange ship approaching the Mushroom kingdom!" Toadworth replied. Peach looked at the hologram map & stared at the huge ship approaching them. "Call the Mario bros immediately!" Peach said.
At Mario & Luigi's home. Mario & Luigi sit at their table drinking their coffee. "So, who are we going to see today, Luigi?" Mario asked. "Florence her drain is clogged!" Luigi said, drinking his coffee. Just when there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" Luigi said, answering the door. "Oh, hi Billy, what's up?" Luigi asked. "Luigi, the princess need you & Mario at the castle right away!" Billy said. Mario quickly got up. "We'll be right there!" Mario said, rushing out. Luigi grabbed his giga bell & followed Mario out the door.
Soon they arrived at the Palace. "Go right in Mario Bros. The Princess is waiting for you in the council room!" 1 of them said, letting them pass. Soon they entered the council room. "Mario, Luigi, thank the Mushroom you're here!" Peach said. "What is it Princess? What's wrong?" Mario asked. "We have a situation. We've detected a strange huge ship approaching the Kingdom!" Peach said, showing them the ship on the hologram map. "Mama Mia that's a huge ship. Are they friendly?" Luigi asked. "We're not sure!" Peach said, just when Theodore & Starry finally found their way to the council room. "Excuse us coming through!" Theodore said, as they make their way to the front of the crowd & saw the Mario Bros were there & knew something was wrong. Starry stared at the Hologram map & frightfully screamed. Then hid behind Theodore, which got everyone's attention. "Hey it's ok Starry. What wrong?" He asked. "That's Ship, its Venetia's!" She said, frightfully. "Theodore, who is this young lady!" Peach asked, approaching them, as Starry came out from behind Theodore. "Your kingdom is in grave danger Princess!" Starry said bringing down her hood & revealed her Star hat. Everyone gasped when they saw her hat. "You're, you're not from here?" Peach said. "My name is Starry & I'm a Star toad from the Starlight kingdom, which is now in ruins because of her!" Starry said, pointing to the ship on the hologram map. "Lady Venetia! She said. Peach looked very worried.
Soon Peach, Mario, Luigi, Theodore & Starry were in Peach's tearoom. "So Starry tell me more about Lady Venetia!" Peach asked. She's a conqueror. She's been going all over the world taking over every kingdom she comes too. When she came to mine, she showed no mercy. Most of my Friends escaped, but a lot of them didn't!" Starry told them. What happened to them? Luigi asked. Some of them were captured by Venetia's mind-controlled guards, while others were turned to stone by Venetia!" Starry sadly said. "Turned to stone, how awful!" Mario said. Yes & now she's coming to take your kingdom!" Starry said. "Not to worry we'll stop this Venetia, won't we bro?" Mario asked, standing up. "You bet we will!" Luigi said, standing up too. "Please be careful Venetia is no pushover, she's dangerous!" Starry said. "Don't worry we'll be careful!" Mario said, as he & Luigi ran off. "Theodore take Starry far away from here!" Peach said. "Yes Princess. Come on Starry!" Theodore said, as he pulled Starry away who stared at Peach.
Outside Mario & Luigi rushed across the castle ground. They jumped & hit 2 Question blocks & each grabbed a Tanooki leaf. After changing, the bros looked at each other & nod then flew towards the edge of town. The toads in town see them flying by. "Hey, it's the Mario bros!" 1 of them said. "Something must be up!" Another said. Mario & Luigi hovered at the edge of the town. Just as Venetia's ship came out the clouds & flew towards the Town & Castle. "Here they come Luigi!" Mario said, hovering beside him. Luigi frightfully gulped. When suddenly a huge cannon turned & aimed for them. They fired & miss them by inches. The 2 of them watched as a giant pod rushed downward & crash landed in the town. Then more pods were fired down. The Toads in the town screamed & ran off, as the pods crashed landed. The pods then opened up & Venetia's mind-controlled army rushed out with their battle cry. Including the guards & soldiers from the Starlight Kingdom. "Mama Mia. Quick Luigi alert the town & the Castle of the attack & to evacuate!" Mario told him. "But what about you, bro?" Luigi asked, still hovering. "Me I'm going to see if I can't stop Venetia!" Mario said, as they flew off.
Chapter Three.
Theodore & Starry came out of the pipe & ran out of the town with a crowd of frighten Toads, as they ran more pods crashed landed around them. "Keep going!" Theodore cried, as they all kept running. When suddenly a pod crashed in front of them making everyone stop. The pod then opened & out rushed more mind-controlled guards who aimed their weapons at them. "Hold it right there!" The lead Star toad guard replied. As Theodore & the other Toads frightfully stared. Just then a sparkling light blue dust floated down onto the Mind-controlled guards & their red eyes returned normal. "Huh? What? What happened?" The lead guard asked, as he & the other guards stood confused. Theodore & the other toads were also confused. Theodore then saw a light blue star floating above the guards. "Guardsmen!" She said, floating down & changed back into Starry. "Starry?" Theodore said. "Escorts these Toads deep into the forest, Lady Venetia is attacking!" Starry said. "Yes Ma'am!" The lead Star toad guards said, saluting. Then led the group of Toads out of the town & into the Mushroom Forest. Theodore, hold on tight!" Starry said. "Hold on?" Theodore said, as Starry changed into a star again grabbed him & they flew into the air!" Theodore screamed out as they flew deep into the Mushroom Forest.
Luigi flew through a part of town. We're under attack, evacuate the town!" He warned them. He then headed to the castle. As he flew, he couldn't help but look back & think of Mario & didn't see the group of stars hovering in front of him until it was too late. Luigi screamed & tried to come to a halt when they attacked him & made him lose his power up. "Mario!" He cried, falling. He then did his fancy landing & jumping to land safely on the ground. Luigi picked up his hat & put it back on. "Phew!" He said, looking around & saw he was caught.
Mario flew up to the landing dock & landed. He skillfully took out the guards. Then he turned his attention to the dock doors. Which opened slowly & out came Venetia & Ivar & several guards. "Aw, you must be Mario!" She said. "Are you Lady Venetia?" Mario asked. "I am & the new ruler of the Starlight kingdom & soon to be new ruler of this Kingdom as well!" Venetia said. "I don't think so Lady, this kingdom only has 1 ruler & that ruler happens to be Princess Peach!" Mario said. "Not for long!" Venetia said, about to move when Mario angrily blocked her. "I won't let hurt the Princess!" Mario said, angrily. "I see & how do you intend to stop me?" She asked snapping her fingers that echoed loudly. "I'll stop you!" Mario said, trying to move when he realized he couldn't. Mario tried hard to move then he saw why he wasn't moving. He was slowly turning to stone. Mario gasped in shock, as Venetia evilly grins at him. What? What have you done?" Mario asked, slowly turning to stone. "Oh that, oh silly me I forgot to mention about 1 of my special powers. The ability to turn living things to stone!" Venetia said, watching as Mario neck & head slowly turn to stone. "But don't worry your Princess will soon join you as a beautiful statue. Bye, bye now!" She said, as Mario finished turning to stone. "Well, that was fun!" Venetia said. "Congrats my lady!" Ivar said. "Prepare to land near the castle!" Venetia ordered. "Yes, my lady!" Ivar said, rushing off. "What about him your ladyship!" A guard asked. "Hum. Take him to nearest lake & drop him in!" She ordered. "Yes, my lady!" he said, bowing. Then he & several others pick up the stone Mario & carried him away.
Theodore & Starry flew to the lake & land near the water. Theodore took a second to catch his breath & looked at Starry who was in her star form. A star, she can turn into a star!" He said, in shock. "Of course, I can, I'm a Star toad!" She said, changing back. Starry looked back at the castle & saw that Venetia's ship was almost to the castle. Starry sadly sighed.
Back at the Castle Toadworth, Toad & Peach kept watching the ship coming at them. It's still advancing Princess. Something must have happened to Master Mario & Master Luigi!" Toadworth said. Captain Wally gather your troops & meet me outside in front of the castle!" Peach ordered. Yes Princess!" Wally said, rushing out. You 2 get away from here as fast as you can!" Peach said. No Princess, I'm not leaving you!" Toadworth said. "& neither am I!" Toad said, bringing out his frying pan. Just as huge shadow covered the windows & the castle shook. Outside Captain Wally & his soldiers waited for Peach, Toad & Toadworth to join them, as the huge ship began to land. Soon Peach, Toad & Toadworth came outside just as the ship finished landing in front of the castle. They waited a while then the dock door opened & out came a sparkling red dust. What? What is this stuff? Wally said, as the dust covered them. They all coughed. Then suddenly Captain Wally & troops eyes turned red & they turned towards Peach, Toad & Toadworth & aimed their weapons at them. Captain what you doing? Peach asked, getting surrounded. Something is wrong with them Princess look at their eyes. Someone is controlling them!" Toad said. "Indeed, there is!" a voice said, from inside the ship. As Lady Venetia & Ivar came out & the soldiers came attention, as they came down the ramp. "I control your troops now!" Venetia said, signaling them to bring the Princess to her. The soldiers separated Peach from Toad & Toadworth. Princess!" Toadworth cried, being held back. The soldiers brought Peach in front Venetia. Lady Venetia!" Peach said. Princess Peach, So you heard of me. Then you know why I've come!" Venetia said, as Peach at her with angry eyes. Venetia then walked up to Peach & touched her chin & looked at her face. "What a pretty thing you are!" she said, still holding Peach's face. You would make a beautiful statue for my new throne room!" Venetia said, laughing. I don't think so Lady!" Peach said, tripping the soldiers then flipped back to the others. Toad hit a soldier with his frying pan. "Princess!" Toadworth cried, throwing a fire flower at her which she caught & powered up & malted the soldier's weapons, then charged towards Venetia who was being guarded by more soldiers. Venetia then snapped her fingers that echoed & Peach suddenly came to a stop. "What?" She said, looking down at the bottom of her gown & saw it was already stone. Venetia gave her an evil look. "Foolish Princess did you really think you could defeat me. Even your heroes couldn't stop me!" Venetia said. "Mario. What did you do to him?" Peach asked. As Venetia evilly grinned. "You will never know!" Venetia said, watching her turn to stone. "Princess, Princess no!" Toadworth cried, seeing her as a full statue. "Goodbye Princess Peach!" Venetia said, walking up to Toad & Toadworth. "As for you 2. Take them to the nearest mines with the others!" Venetia ordered. "Yes, my Lady. Move it!" Wally ordered. Taking them from the castle grounds. While Venetia & Ivar walked to the castle, with the soldiers following behind.
Chapter Four.
Soon it was night & Theodore had made a fire. Starry sadly sat by the fire & sighed. "What are we going to do? How can we save our friends?" She asked. "I, I don't know. I wish Mario & Luigi were here. If anyone can get us out this mess, it's them!" Theodore said, sadly. Then sat by the fire with her. Then they saw a light in a distance. "What's that?" Starry asked, going to investigate. Both Starry & Theodore peeked around a Mushroom stem towards the lake & saw a rowboat in the middle of the lake. Ok, this will do drop him here!" A soldier said, pushing statue Mario overboard & he splash into the water & sinks to the bottom. Well, that's takes care of him. Let's head back & get a drink!" He said, laughing as they row back to shore. Once out of view Theodore & Starry approached the shore. "Did you hear that they dropped someone overboard!" Starry said, as Theodore jumped into the water & dived down. There he found something hard at the bottom. Theodore grabbed it & brought it to the surface & then to the shore. Only to realize he saved a statue of Mario. "What a statue. I risked my life for a statue ugh!" He angrily groaned, walking away. Starry looked at the statue & felt a living soul trapped inside. "Theodore, Theodore!" She said. "What?" He asked angrily. Sorry, Sorry!" He apologized. "What is it?" He asked. "Its not a statue. Its someone who has been turned to stone!" Starry said. "What? Turned to stone? You mean to tell me this is really Mario?" He cried, panicking. "What? What are we going to do, what are you going to do? He panicked. Just when Starry reached out & touched 1 of Mario's fingers & a light glowed between her finger & his. "What? Starry!" Theodore cried, just when Mario turned back to normal. Mario fell to the ground weak & in a daze. He moaned. "Mario, your ok!" Theodore said, relieved. "Ugh Toad?" he said, still weak & in a daze. "No Mario, it's me, Theodore!" He said, holding him up. "Theodore ugh!" Mario moaned. Theodore while holding up a weak Mario looked at Starry. "Starry how, how can I. How did you do that?" He asked, staring into her blue eyes.
An hour later & Mario sat by the fire. "Feeling better Mario?" Theodore asked. "Yes, thank you. So, tell me what's happened?" Mario asked. "You were turned to stone!" Theodore said. "Stone. I remember now. What about the Princess?" Mario asked. "If I know Venetia, she's already turned her to stone & taken over her kingdom!" Starry said. Mario had a worried look on his face. What are we going to do Mario?" Theodore asked. "Simple we're going to find a way to stop her & save Princess Peach!" Mario said. "I, I don't know if I can do that Mario!" Theodore said. "Why not Theodore?" Mario asked. "Because I'm not a hero like you are Mario. I've never been on an adventure in my life. I'm just a store owner!" Theodore said. "Listen Theodore. Before I came here, I was just an ordinary plumber trying to make my way in the world. & just because I face danger doesn't mean I'm not scared. Sometimes I'm terrified. But I believe in myself & you have believe in yourself, she does & so do I!" Mario said, as Theodore smiled. "Thank you, Mario!" Theodore said, as they stayed by the fire.
Back at Peach's castle Venetia sits on Peach's throne, with Stone Peach nearby. "Aw, this is the life, I should have done this years ago!" Venetia said, relaxing with her pet Plague star. When Ivar walked in. "Excuse me my Lady, but the ship is to depart to the next kingdom!" he said, Bowing. "Excellent Ivar, summon the guards to move Princess Peach to the ship!" She ordered. "Yes, my Lady!" Ivar said, bowing again before leaving to get the guards.
Back at the camp Mario, Theodore & Starry were ready to head back to Toad town. "Ready to go Theodore?" Mario asked. "Yeah, just got to put out the fire! Theodore said, carrying a bucket of water to the fire & was about to pour it on the fire when he heard & saw the bushes near him moving. Starry who frightfully hid behind Mario. While Mario watched the bushes move. Then out came Yoshi. "Yoshi!" He said. "Yoshi its you!" Theodore said, as Mario ran to them. "Yoshi, hey boy, where have you been?" Mario asked, getting licked. "Yoshi, Yoshi!" He said, pulling on Mario's arm. Then he ran ahead & waved to them to follow. "What's the matter with him?" Theodore asked. "He wants us to follow him!" Mario said, running ahead. Theodore quickly poured the water onto the fire putting it out, then rushed to them. Yoshi led them deeper into the Mushroom Forest. He would stop & wait for them to catch up before moving on. "Yoshi, where are you taking us?" Mario asked, following him. "Yoshi, Yoshi!" Yoshi said, moving on. Then they saw it. Another camp site. "Huh? Another camp!" Mario said, seeing Yoshi ahead of them. "Yoshi!" He said, waving to them to come. Mario, Theodore & Starry entered the camp & saw a lot of Star toads. "Yoshi!" 1 of them cried, as she & the others gathered around Yoshi & pet him. "Oh, hello. Who are you?" 1 of them asked. "Hi, I'm Mario & these are my friends, Theodore & Starry!" He introduced. "Hey, she's 1 of us!" She cried, as the others came & gathered around them. "Mama Mia!" Mario said, looking at all of them. They looked at Theodore as well. "You're a strange 1!" 1 of them said. "Why do you have circles on your hat? Another asked. "I'm a Toad!" Theodore said. "We're Toads too. Can you turn into a star like we can?" Another asked. "Uhm no!" Theodore said. "Oh!" another said. Starry looked at all her friends then she saw a statue sitting not far from them. Starry walked up to the statue & realized who it was. "Lord Rayner. What happened?" Starry asked. Venetia turned him to stone when he refused to tell her where our princess was!" A Star toad guard said. "Venetia wants to kill our Princess!" A Star toad said. "Kill your Princess? But why? Mario asked. Because our Princess has a power that make her immune to Venetia's spells. Our Princess can also reverse her spells & make us Immune!" A Guard said. "Really? Wow!" Theodore said, staring at the Statue.
Chapter Five.
As Mario, Theodore & the Star toads talk about their options. Starry walked up to Statue Rayner & touched 1 of his finger & just like before a light shined between her finger & his, Which, got the attention of the others. "Hey something happening!" 1 of the Star toads cried, as Rayner turned back to normal. Rayner fell to his knees. "Lord Rayner your back!" A Star toad. "Ugh, what happened?" He asked, very weak. "Venetia turned you to stone!" Starry said, as the others helped him up & handed him his cane. "I was turned to Stone. Then who saved me? Rayner asked. "It was Starry she some how changed you back. She did the same to Mario when he was turned to stone!" Theodore said. "But that's impossible only our Princess has the power to reverse Venetia's spells!" Rayner said, seeing Starry & stared into her rare blue eyes & knew. "Oh, my stars, Princess!" Rayner said, bowing. The Star toads did to. "What? Princess. Starry is your Princess!" Theodore said. Rayner walked up to Starry & kneeled. "Please forgive us Maria. We have failed you!" Rayner said, as Starry walked up to him & placed her hand onto his head. "No Lord Rayner, you have not. There's still a chance we can save both our kingdoms!" Starry said.
Soon they all gathered around Rayner. "It true, Venetia wants our Princess dead. With Maria out of the way there would be no chance to save those who have been turned to stone or taken controlled by her!" Rayner said. "If Venetia was there to kill you. How did you escape?" Mario asked. "Lord Rayner changed me to look like a Star toad!" Starry said. A Star toad. So, this is not your true form! Theodore said. "No, it's a disguise. I'm a human like Mario!" Starry said. Just when a Star toad scout flew in. "Lord Rayner!" He said, saluting. "Report Fred?" Rayner said. "Venetia's ship is almost ready to leave for the next Kingdom. I saw them loading their Princess as a statue into her ship!" Fred reported. "Oh no she doesn't. We got to get onto that ship & save Princess Peach!" Mario. But how Mario. You & Yoshi will need a fast-flying Item to reach the ship in time!" Theodore said, thinking. "Wait, I know what items can do that!" Theodore said. "Great, then let's get going!" Mario said, running ahead. Theodore turned to Starry. "Starry!" he said. "I know I can't go with you. Please be careful Venetia is very dangerous!" Starry said, hugging him. "Don't worry we will!" Theodore said, running off to catch up to Mario & Yoshi.
At Peach's Castle Venetia's troops were almost done loading the supplies into the ship.
Mario, Theodore & Yoshi headed back to the Castle & Toad town. On the way, they saw a large group of guards coming down the road. Mario guards coming down the road!" Theodore said, as they quickly rushed into the forest & hid. Mario peeked around the Mushroom stem as the group of guards & prisoners walked by. "Mario look. It's Toadworth & Toad!" Theodore whispered. "I see them!" Mario whispered, looking around & saw a question block not far from them. "Ok you 2 here's the plan!" Mario said. The guards kept moving the prisoners ahead. "Keep moving!" 1 of them said. when they heard a commotion behind them. The guards, Toadworth & Toad all looked back as Mario, Theodore & Yoshi attacked. As Theodore jumped on some of the guard's heads, knocking them out. Yoshi grabbed some guards with his tongue & put them in his mouth & spit them at other guards also knocking them out. Mario dodged & hopped onto the guard's heads as he made his way to the Question block. When he reached the block, he leaped & hit it & touched the fire flower. After powering up more guards rushed at him with weapons drawn. Mario threw a fire ball at them & melted their weapons. Which made them run off screaming. Mario continued to melt the guard's weapons & knock them out. After all the guards were out of commission. Mario walked up to Toadworth, Toad & the other prisoners. The Toads all cheered. "Master Mario, thank the Mushrooms your ok!" Toadworth said, as Mario melted his chains. "Are you guys, ok?" Mario asked, melting Toad's chains. We're ok Mario, but Venetia has turned the Princess to stone & taken over the kingdom!" Toad said. "Don't worry I'll deal with Venetia!" Mario said, angrily. Toadworth there's a Star toad camp site not far from here. You & the other toads will be safe there!" Theodore said. "Right. Good luck boys!" Toadworth said, as he & the other toads headed down the road & Mario, Theodore, Toad & Yoshi headed towards Toad town.
Chapter Six.
Soon they arrived back at the Toad town. The place was crawling with Mind-controlled guards & stone Toads. Mario, Theodore, Toad & Yoshi make their way to Theodore's Item shop. On the way there, they saw Venetia was almost ready to leave. Mario looked through his binoculars "Well Mario? What are they doing? Toad whispered. "Their almost ready to leave!" Mario said, watching them all board the ship. "We better hurry Mario. If that ship takes off, we'll never catch up to it!" Toad said. "Oh Yes, we will & I have the perfect Items for us to use. Come on!" Theodore said, as Mario, Toad & Yoshi followed behind him.
They carefully made their way through town. Until they came to Theodore's Item shop. Theodore used his keys to unlock the door & they all went in. As Theodore search for a special item in the back. Mario looked at the Silver Tanooki behind the glass case. "Aw haw found it!" Theodore said, coming out of the back holding a pair of rare Yoshi wings. "Yoshi wings!" Mario said. "Not just any Yoshi wings Mario. These are the super Yoshi wings. They will make Yoshi fly faster than the normal wings & as for you Mario!" Theodore said, picking up a wrench. He rushed to the display case & smashed it. He then picked up the silver Tanooki leaf. "Here Mario!" Theodore said, giving the leaf to him. Mario then used the power up & soon they flew out of the shop & towards the ship just as it started to leave. Mario & Yoshi both reached the ship & heading inside. They fought & made their way to Venetia's throne room. When they arrived, they found statue Peach sitting beside the throne. There's Peach, but no Venetia!" Toad said, sneaking in with the others. Suddenly all the exits closed & vents opened & out poured red sparkling dust. Mario, Toad, Theodore & Yoshi all coughed. Then everyone but Mario was affected. "Hey you guys, ok?" He asked, as the 4 of them turned him with their red eyes. "Uh oh!" Mario said, getting attacked. Since Mario was wearing the silver Tanooki suit, his strength was increased & he took out everyone. "Venetia, Venetia. Where are you. Come out & face me!" Mario shouted. Just when a bay door opened & out stepped Venetia. "Mario? How? How do you break free from my spell?" She asked. Then she knew. "The Starlight Princess. So Princess Maria is here in the Mushroom Kingdom. Well, I'll deal with her later right after I deal with you. Let's see how you deal with my Champions!" She said, as her 2 Champions came in. Mario stared at them & noticed 1 as his brother. "Luigi? Luigi!" He cried, just as Luigi & the other champion brought out their weapons & charged at Mario. Mario did his best to dodge both of there attacks. "Luigi, Luigi it's me Mario. Don't do this bro!" He said, getting hit. Mario went flying & hit the wall & made him lose his power up. Mario groaned, then quickly got up & dodge his brother's attack as well as the other knight's attacks. "Luigi, snap out of it. Come on bro, I don't want to hurt you!" Mario cried, still dodging their attacks. Luigi then grabbed Mario by the shirt & pinned him to the wall. Luigi then raised his weapon up. "Luigi please, I love you, Bro!" Mario said, as Luigi was about strike him when suddenly he cried out, dropped Mario & backed away. "Luigi!" he replied, seeing him painfully struggling to take back control. "Yes, yes Luigi, fight, fight the spell!" Mario said. As Luigi's eyes turned back to normal. "Ugh Mario?" Luigi said. "Yes Bro!" Mario cheered. "No, my champion!" Venetia said. "Mario!" Luigi said, reaching out his arms. "Luigi!" Mario said, run to him to give him a hug, but the other knight beat him to Luigi & pushed Luigi. Luigi cried out as he went flying & hit the wall. As Luigi hit the floor & the Giga cat bell fell out of his pocket & onto the floor. "Luigi!" Mario cried, rushing to him. "Luigi, Luigi!" Mario said, seeing the bruise on his forehead & knew he was out. Mario angrily got up. "That's it pal. No more mister nice Plumber!" Mario said, angrily. As the Knight charged at him & Mario angrily charged at him. Mario jumped into the air & jumped onto his head, bringing him to the ground. Mario jumped into the air & ground pounced him knocking him out. Mario then got up & turned to Venetia "Your next Venetia!" Mario said, angrily. "Hmm, we'll see about that Mario!" she said, powering up.
Chapter Seven.
Outside the Toads & all the Star toads & flew to the ship. The Star toads carried the Toads onto the ship. Where they battled more Venetia's mind-controlled soldiers. Rayner carrying Toadworth landed along with Starry. "Forward my friends. Let's save our friends & stop Venetia!" Starry said. "Charge!" A Toad cried, charging into battle.
In the throne room. Mario prepared to fight Venetia. Venetia charged up her energy & threw it at Mario. Mario dodged each attack as he made his way to Venetia & jumped up & ground pounced on her. Then landed back on the floor. Venetia shook off the pain. "Curse you, Mario!" She cried electrifying herself. "Try that again I dare you!" she cried daring him, as Mario charged at her again & tried to ground pounce her again only to be shocked away. Mario crashed onto the floor & groaned in pain, as Venetia laughed. "Foolish man. When will you realize, its useless to fight me!" Venetia said, powering up her energy again & threw again at while he was down the energy blast flew towards Mario & was about to hit him, When Yoshi's tongue grabbed the energy blast & he put it in his mouth & spit back at Venetia, who dodged it. "Venetia!" Starry shouted, facing her. "You, you're the Starlight Princess!" Venetia said, angrily. "Your finished Venetia!" She said. "Mario!" Theodore cried, throwing a star at him. Mario grabbed the star & became invincible. "What no!" Venetia cried, in shock. Mario rushed to her & upper cut her through the roof & out of the ship. Mario catches his breath & sat down as the star power faded. Starry, Toad, Theodore & Yoshi all cheered & ran to Mario. "You did it Mario, you beat her!" Starry said, as Mario got back up. "I couldn't have done it without you guys!" Mario said, as Theodore shook his hand. Then they heard a moan. The 5 of them turned & saw Luigi coming too. "Luigi!" Mario cried, rushing to him. "Mario ugh. What happened? Ugh what hit me?" Luigi asked, holding his right arm. "Its ok Luigi, I dealt with him!" Mario said, helping Luigi up & hugged him. "Come on let's grab the Princess & split!" Toad said. "Good idea!" Mario said, as they headed to Statue Peach & were about to pick her up when suddenly the ship violently shook making everyone on board fall over. Then alarms sounded & the ship began to crash to the ground. "What's happening?" Theodore asked, as Ivar ran in. "Run, run we're going down! He cried, running out the dock door. Suddenly the ship shook violently again & started to tip over to the left, making everyone slide to the left. "Hang on we're going to crash!" Mario cried, shielding Statue Peach from the impact. After the crash Toadworth & the others who evacuated the ship gasped in horror. "My word Princess, Master Mario!" Toadworth cried. Inside Mario who had successfully shielded Peach, gets up & rubs his sore neck. He then went to check on the others. Toad, Yoshi, Theodore, Luigi, Starry!" He called them, as Yoshi popped out of the debris with Luigi, Toad & Starry. "Over here Mario!" Toad said, as Mario ran to them. Luigi, Toad, Yoshi, Starra. Are you guys, ok? Mario asked. "Yeah, we're fine bro. What about the Princess?' Luigi asked, as Mario helped them up. "She's ok!" Mario said. "Wait where's Theodore?" Starry asked, hearing a moan & saw Theodore's arm sticking out of debris. Oh no Theodore!" Starry cried, as Mario pushed the debris off him & saw him out cold. "Theodore, Theodore!" Mario said, seeing he was out. Just then a sudden Thunderstorm came out of no where & then the ground shook violently as a red energy light burst out. Mario & the others ran to the hole on the left side of the ship & saw a giant enraged Bowser rose from the ground. "Mama Mia!" Mario said, just as Bowser roared. "Bowser!" Mario said, in shock. "Holy Mushroom. What happened to Bowser? He looks enraged!" Toad said. Just when Mario used his binoculars. He aimed them at Bowser's shoulder where he saw an enraged Venetia floating beside him. "Venetia!" Mario said, in shock. "Mario!" Venetia angrily shouted. "Now you've made me mad. If I cannot have this Kingdom than no one shell!" She shouted, whipping Bowser & he turned toward the Mushroom kingdom. Go my Beast, destroy the Mushroom kingdom!" She shouted. Just when Bowser took in a deep breath & blew his fire at the Kingdom, destroying several buildings, including Theodore's Item shop. Mario gasped & hid behind the metal debris. Starry & the others also took cover as Bowser's flames hit them. "Mario!" Luigi cried. "I'm fine. Stay right there, don't come out!" He cried, just when Theodore woke up. "Ugh what's going on?" He asked, just as Bowser blew his fire again. After the fire blast passed, Theodore peeked out & saw Bowser. "Great Mushrooms. What happened to Bowser? Theodore asked. "It was Venetia she made him huge & enraged!" Starry said, as they heard Venetia Laughing. "What are we going to do? How do we stop him?" Luigi asked. Theodore started to think & happen to look down & saw the Giga Cat bell on the ground. "The Giga Cat bell!" He said, pick it up. He then got brave & rushed out of the hole. "Theodore!" Luigi cried. "No Theodore, you'll get killed!" Starry cried. Theodore kept running until he saw a clearing. Then threw the Giga Cat Bell as far as he could throw it. The Giga Cat Bell hit the ground & a bright light blasted out & a huge Giga Cat bell rang out. "Mario the Giga Bell. Get to the Giga Bell!" Theodore cried. Mario stared at the Giga Bell. "Giga Bell!" He said, rushing for it. Just as Bowser stomped down & made it rain hot rock spikes. Mario kept running & dodged the hot rock spikes as they crashed all around him. Mario reached the Giga Cat Bell & touched & grew & grew & grew until there was a bright light. A Giant Cat Mario landed on the ground & was ready to take on the enraged Bowser & Venetia. "Mario!" Venetia said, destroy him!" Venetia shouted, Whipping Bowser again, who roared at cat Mario. He then blew fire balls at cat Mario, who ducked & charged towards him & stuck him with his claws. Bowser backed off. "Get in there & kill him!" Venetia shouted. As Bowser roared. Then went into his shell & rolled at Cat Mario, who move & attacked again & struck him on the soft part of his shell. Bowser cried off. Dazed & weak Bowser fell onto his shell. "No, no!" Venetia shouted. That's when cat Mario made his move & ground pounced Bowser. Bowser cried out, then fell to the ground. The red sparkling mist poured out of him & he shrunk back to normal size. After that the storm vanished & the morning sun shined brightly. Mario was now back to normal & standing beside an unconscious Bowser. Just when Toad, Luigi, Theodore & Yoshi ran up to him cheering. "You did it, you defeated Bowser!" Toad said. "Way to go Bro!" Luigi said, hugging & forgot he injured his arm. "Oh ow, ow!" He cried, holding his sore arm. "You ok bro?" Mario asked. Yeah, I'll be fine! Luigi said, holding his arm. As they continued to celebrate, they didn't notice Venetia hiding behind some debris & was about to sneak off, when a shadow approached her & she gasped. Soon Toad Worth, Rayner, The Toads & Star Toads were there congratulating Mario when. "Excuse me!" The other knight said, holding Venetia. "But I believe this is your prisoner!" He said, as the Toad guards came & took Venetia away. "Excuse us, but who are you?" Toad asked. As the Knight took off his helmet. "Chester!" Starry cried, rushing to him & right away Chester knew it was Maria. "Princess!" He said, bowing.
Soon Bowser was awake & bawling in front of Statue Peach. "Peaches, my darling Peaches!" He cried, blowing his nose. Mario & Starry both approached statue Peach. They looked at each other & nod. Starry then touched Peach's finger & once again a bright light shined between Peach's finger & Starry's. Mario & the others watched as Peach changed from stone to her normal self but as she changed Starry changed too. Peach breathed the air & opened her eyes & saw Starry's true form Maria had Long blue hair with star shape pig tails. She was wearing a long light blue gown. Her crown was gold with a star shape diamond on top. Peach smiled when she saw Maria's blue eyes & Maria smiled too. Then everyone cheered. Just then Bowser rush to them. "Peaches, Oh Peaches am I ever so glad your ok!" Bowser said. "Bowser, what are you doing here?" Peach asked, angrily. "It a long story princess!" Mario said.
Chapter Eight.
Soon Mario, Peach, Maria, Toad, Theodore, Yoshi & Luigi who had his arm in a sling & a band aid on his forehead. All stood in front of a crowd of Toads & Star toads. For your heroic acts I reward Mario, Luigi, Toad & Yoshi the hero medal!" Peach announced, putting the medal around their necks & the crowd cheered & clapped. "Theodore come forth!" Peach said, as Theodore stepped forward. "For your bravery in the face of danger I reward Theodore the Bravery medal! Peach announced, & the crowd cheered & clapped again, as Mario put the medal around Theodore's neck. Theodore stared at his medal & smiled.
Soon they all stood by a green tube that went to the Starlight Kingdom. "Goodbye Princess & thank you again for saving me!" Peach said, As Mario & Luigi walked up her with their hat off. "Mario, Luigi how can ever repay you for helping me save our 2 beautiful kingdoms!" Maria said, kissing both Mario & Luigi's cheeks. Which made them both blush. Maria then turned to Theodore. "Goodbye Princess!" Theodore said, bowing. "Farewell Theodore & thank you!" She said, kissing his cheek & made him blush. "Oh gosh!" He said, still blushing. "Not bad for a store owner!" Mario said, giving him a thumbs up. Everyone then waved & said goodbye, as Maria, Prince Chester, Rayner & the Star toads all went home.
A week later an alarm went off & a hand reached over to turn it off. Theodore sat up, yawned & stretched before getting up. After having his breakfast & morning tea. He locked his door & headed to his new rebuilt Item shop. As he headed to his new shop the other toads & Star toads greeted him. "Morning Theodore!" A toad greeted. "Good morning, Theodore!" a Star toad greeted. "Morning all!" Theodore greeted back, while walking to his new Item shop.
